[Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC-N3)(2)](NO(3))(2) (1) (2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine; 1-MeC = 1-methylcytosine) exists in water in an equilibrium of head-tail and head-head rotamers, with the former exceeding the latter by a factor of ca. 20 at room temperature. Nevertheless, 1 reacts with (en)Pd(II) (en = ethylenediamine) to give preferentially the dinuclear complex [Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-)-N3,N4)(2)Pd(en)](NO(3))(2)·5H(2)O (2) with head-head arranged 1-methylctosinato (1-MeC(-)) ligands and Pd being coordinated to two exocyclic N4H(-) positions. Addition of AgNO(3) to a solution of 2 leads to formation of a pentanuclear chain compound [{Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-))(2)Pd(en)}(2)Ag](NO(3))(5)·14H(2)O (5) in which Ag(+) cross-links two cations of 2 via the four available O2 sites of the 1-MeC(-) ligands. 2 and 5 appear to be the first X-ray structurally characterized examples of di- and multinuclear complexes derived from a Pt(II) species with two cis-positioned cytosinato ligands adopting a head-head arrangement. (tmeda)Pd(II) (tmeda = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) and (2,2'-bpy)Pd(II) behave differently toward 1 in that in their derivatives the head-tail orientation of the 1-MeC(-) nucleobases is retained. In [Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-))(2){Pd(2,2'-bpy)}(2)](NO(3))(4)·10H(2)O (4), both (2,2'-bpy)Pd(II) entities are pairwise bonded to N4H(-) and O2 sites of the two 1-MeC(-) rings, whereas in [Pt(2,2'-bpy)(1-MeC(-))(2){Pd(tmeda)}(2)(NO(3))](NO(3))(3)·5H(2)O (3) only one of the two (tmeda)Pd(II) units is chelated to N4H(-) and O2. The second (tmeda)Pd(II) is monofunctionally attached to a single N4H(-) site. On the basis of these established binding patterns, ways to the formation of mixed Pt/Pd complexes and possible intermediates are proposed. The methylene protons of the en ligand in 2 are special in that they display two multiplets separated by 0.64 ppm in the (1)H NMR spectrum.  相似文献

Reactions of Cd(NO(3))(2)·4H(2)O with TabHPF(6) (TabH = 4-(trimethylammonio)benzenethiol) and Et(3)N in the presence of NH(4)SCN and five other N-donor ligands such as 2,2'-bipyridine (2,2'-bipy), phenanthroline (phen), 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (2,9-dmphen), 2,6-bis(pyrazd-3-yl)pyridine (bppy) and 2,6-bis(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)pyridine (bdmppy) gave rise to a family of Cd(II)/thiolate complexes of N-donor ligands, {[Cd(2)(μ-Tab)(4)(NCS)(2)](NO(3))(2)·MeOH}(n) (1), [Cd(2)(μ-Tab)(2)(L)(4)](PF(6))(4) (2: L = 2,2'-bipy; 3: L = phen), [Cd(Tab)(2)(L)](PF(6))(2) (4: L = 2,9-dmphen; 5: L = bppy), and [Cd(2)(μ-Tab)(2)(Tab)(2)(bdmppy)](2)(PF(6))(8)·H(2)O (6·H(2)O). These compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, UV-Vis spectra, (1)H NMR, electrospray ionization (ESI) mass spectra and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. For 1, each [Cd(NCS)](+) fragment is connected to its equivalents via a pair of Tab bridges to a one-dimensional chain. For 2 and 3, two [Cd(2,2'-bipy)(2)](2+) or [Cd(phen)(2)](2+) units are linked by a pair of Tab bridges to form a cationic dimeric structure. The Cd atom in [Cd(Tab)(2)(L)](2+) dication of 4 or 5 is coordinated by two Tab ligands and chelated by two N atoms from 2,9-dmphen (4) or three N atoms from bppy (5), forming a distorted tetrahedral (4) or trigonal bipyramidal (5) coordination geometry. For 6, each of two [Cd(Tab)(bdmppy)] fragments is linked to one [(Tab)Cd(μ-Tab)(2)Cd(Tab)] fragment via two Tab bridges to generate a unique cationic zigzag tetrameric structure where the Cd centers take a tetrahedral or a trigonal bipyramidal coordination geometry. The results may provide an interesting insight into mimicking the coordination spheres of the Cd(II) sites of metallothioneins and their interactions with various N-donor ligands encountered in nature.  相似文献

The reaction of [Ni[Co(aet)(2)(pyt)](2)](2+) (aet = 2-aminoethanethiolate, pyt = 2-pyridinethiolate) with [PtCl(4)](2)(-) gave an S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complex composed of two [Co(aet)(2)(pyt)] units, [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(pyt)](2)](2+) ([1](2+)). When a 1:1 mixture of [Ni[Co(aet)(2)(pyt)](2)](2+) and [Ni[Co(aet)(2)(en)](2)](4+) was reacted with [PtCl(4)](2)(-), a mixed-type S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) complex composed of one [Co(aet)(2)(pyt)] and one [Co(aet)(2)(en)](+) units, [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)][Co(aet)(2)(pyt)]](3+) ([2](3+)), was produced, together with [1](2+) and [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)](2)](4+). The corresponding Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complexes containing pymt (2-pyrimidinethiolate), [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(pymt)](2)](2+) ([3](2+)) and [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)][Co(aet)(2)(pymt)]](3+) ([4](3+)), were also obtained by similar reactions, using [Ni[Co(aet)(2)(pymt)](2)](2+) instead of [Ni[Co(aet)(2)(pyt)](2)](2+). While [Pt[Co(aet)(2)(en)](2)](4+) formed both the deltalambda (meso) and deltadelta/lambdalambda (racemic) forms in a ratio of ca. 1:1, the preferential formation of the deltadelta/lambdalambda form was observed for [1](2+) (ca. deltalambda:deltadelta/lambdalambda = 1:3) and [2](3+) (ca. delta(en)lambda(pyt)/lambda(en)delta(pyt):deltadelta/lambdalambda = 1:2). Furthermore, [3](2+) and [4](3+) predominantly formed the deltadelta/lambdalambda form. These results indicate that the homochiral selectivity for the S-bridged Co(III)Pt(II)Co(III) trinuclear complexes composed of two octahedral [Co(aet)(2)(L)](0 or +) units is enhanced in the order L = en < pyt < pymt. The isomers produced were separated and optically resolved, and the crystal structures of the meso-type deltalambda-[1]Cl(2).4H(2)O and the spontaneously resolved deltadelta-[4](ClO(4))(3).H(2)O were determined by X-ray analyses. In deltalambda-[1](2+), the delta and Lambda configurational mer(S).trans(N(aet))-[Co(aet)(2)(pyt)] units are linked by a square-planar Pt(II) ion through four aet S atoms to form a linear-type S-bridged trinuclear structure. In deltadelta-[4](3+), a similar linear-type trinuclear structure is constructed from the delta-mer(S).trans(N(aet))-[Co(aet)(2)(pymt)] and delta-C(2)-cis(S)-[Co(aet)(2)(en)](+) units that are bound by a Pt(II) ion with a slightly distorted square-planar geometry through four aet S atoms.  相似文献

The reaction of a potential mono(nucleobase) model adduct of cisplatin, cis-[Pt(NH(3))(2)(1-MeC-N3)(H(2)O)](2+) (6; 1-MeC: 1-methylcytosine), with the electrophile [Pd(en)(H(2)O)(2)](2+) (en: ethylenediamine) at pH approximately 6 yields a kinetic product X which is likely to be a dinuclear Pt,Pd complex containing 1-MeC(-)-N3,N4 and OH bridges, namely cis-[Pt(NH(3))(2)(1-MeC(-)-N3,N4)(OH)Pd(en)](2+). Upon addition of excess Ag(+) ions, conversion takes place to form a thermodynamic product, which, according to (1)H NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography, is dominated by a mu-NH(2) bridge between the Pt(II) and Pd(II) centers. X-ray crystallography reveals that the compound crystallizes out of solution as a dodecanuclear complex containing four Pt(II), four Pd(II), and four Ag(+) entities: [{Pt(2)(1-MeC(-)-N3,N4)(2)(NH(3))(2)(NH(2))(2)(OH)Pd(2)(en)(2)Ag}(2){Ag(H(2)O)}(2)](NO(3))(10) 6 H(2)O (10) is composed of a roughly planar array of the 12 metal ions, in which the metal ions are interconnected by mu-NH(2) groups (between Pt and Pd centers), mu-OH groups (between pairs of Pt atoms), and metal-metal donor bonds (Pt-->Ag, Pd-->Ag). The four 1-methylcytosinato ligands, which are stacked pairwise, as well as the four NH(3) ligands and parts of the en rings, are approximately perpendicular to the metal plane. Two of the four Ag ions (Ag2, Ag2') of 10 are labile in solution and show the expected behavior of Ag(+) ions in water, that is, they are readily precipitated as AgCl by Cl(-) ions. The resulting pentanuclear complex [Pt(2)Pd(2)Ag(1-MeC(-))(2)(NH(2))(2)(OH)(NH(3))(2)(en)(2)](NO(3))(4)7 H(2)O (11) largely maintains the structural features of one half of 10. The other two Ag(+) ions (Ag1, Ag1') of 10 are remarkably unreactive toward excess NaCl. In fact, the pentanuclear complex [Pt(2)Pd(2)AgCl(1-MeC(-))(2)(NH(2))(2)(OH)(NH(3))(2)(en)(2)](NO(3))(3)4.5 H(2)O (12), obtained from 10 with excess NaCl, displays a Cl(-) anion bound to the Ag center (2.459(3) A) and is thus a rare case of a crystallized "AgCl molecule".  相似文献

Electrospray ionization (ESI) tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) of ternary transition metal complexes of [M(L(3))(N)](2+) (where M = copper(II) or platinum(II); L(3) = diethylenetriamine (dien) or 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine (tpy); N = the nucleobases: adenine, guanine, thymine and cytosine; the nucleosides: 2'deoxyadenosine, 2'deoxyguanosine, 2'deoxythymine, 2'deoxycytidine; the nucleotides: 2'deoxyadenosine 5'-monophosphate, 2'deoxyguanosine 5'-monophosphate, 2'deoxythymine 5'-monophosphate, 2'deoxycytidine 5'-monophosphate) was examined as a means of forming radical cations of the constituents of nucleic acids in the gas phase. In general, sufficient quantities of the ternary complexes [M(L(3))(N)](2+) could be formed for MS/MS studies by subjecting methanolic solutions of mixtures of a metal salt [M(L(3))X(2)] (where M = Cu(II) or Pt(II); L(3) = dien or tpy; X = Cl or NO(3)) and N to ESI. The only exceptions were thymine and its derivatives, which failed to form sufficient abundances of [M(L(3))(N)](2+) ions when: (a) M = Pt(II) and L(3) = dien or tpy; (b) M = Cu(II) and L(3) = dien. In some instances higher oligomeric complexes were formed; e.g., [Pt(tpy)(dG)(n)](2+) (n = 1-13). Each of the ternary complexes [M(L(3))(N)](2+) was mass-selected and then subjected to collision-induced dissociation (CID) in a quadrupole ion trap. The types of fragmentation reactions observed for these complexes depend on the nature of all three components (metal, auxiliary ligand and nucleic acid constituent) and can be classified into: (i) a redox reaction which results in the formation of the radical cation of the nucleic acid constituent, N(+.); (ii) loss of the nucleic acid constituent in its protonated form; and (iii) fragmentation of the nucleic acid constituent. Only the copper complexes yielded radical cations of the nucleic acid constituent, with [Cu(tpy)(N)](2+) being the preferred complex due to suppression, in this case, of the loss of the nucleobase in its protonated form. The yields of the radical cations of the nucleobases from the copper complexes follow the order of their ionization potentials (IPs): G (lowest IP) > A > C > T (highest IP). Sufficient yields of the radical cations of each of the nucleobases allowed their CID reactions (in MS(3) experiments) to be compared to their even-electron counterparts.  相似文献

The exploration in two hydro(solvo)thermal reaction systems As/S/Mn(2+)/phen/methylamine aqueous solution and As/S/Mn(2+)/2,2'-bipy/H(2)O affords five new manganese thioarsenates with diverse structures, namely, (CH(3)NH(3)){[Mn(phen)(2)](As(V)S(4))}·phen (1 and 1'), (CH(3)NH(3))(2){[Mn(phen)](2)(As(V)S(4))(2)} (2), {[Mn(phen)(2)](As(III)(2)S(4))}(n) (3), {[Mn(phen)](3)(As(III)S(3))(2)}·H(2)O (4), and {[Mn(2,2'-bipy)(2)](2)(As(V)S(4))}[As(III)S(S(5))] (5). Compound 1 comprises a {[Mn(phen)(2)](As(V)S(4))}(-) complex anion, a monoprotonated methylamine cation and a phen molecule. Compound 2 contains a butterfly like {[Mn(phen)](2)(As(V)S(4))(2)}(2-) anion charge compensated by two monoprotonated methylamine cations. Compound 3 is a neutral chain formed by a helical (1)(∞)(As(III)S(2)(-)) vierer chain covalently bonds to [Mn(II)(phen)](2+) complexes via all its terminal S atoms. Compound 4 features a neutral chain showing the stabilization of noncondensed (As(III)S(3))(3-) anions in the coordination of [Mn(II)(phen)](2+) complex cations. Compound 5 features a mixed-valent As(III)/As(V) character and an interesting chalcogenidometalates structure, where a polycation formed by the connection of two [Mn(2,2'-bipy)(2)](2+) complex cation and a (As(V)S(4))(3-) anion acts as a countercation for a polythioarsenate anion, [As(III)S(S(5))](-). The title compounds exhibit optical gaps in the range 1.58-2.48 eV and blue photoluminescence. Interestingly, compound 1 displays a weak second harmonic generation (SHG) response being about 1/21 times of KTP (KTiOPO(4)). Magnetic measurements show paramagnetic behavior for 1 and dominant antiferromagnetic behavior for 2-5. Of particular interest is 4, which is the first manganese chalcogenide showing spin-canting characteristic.  相似文献

Reactions of Pt(diimine)(tdt) (tdt =3,4-toluenedithiolate) with [M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)](2+) (M = Cu(I) or Ag(I), dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) gave heterotrinuclear complexes [PtCu(2)(tdt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](ClO(4)) (1) and [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (diimine = 2,2'-bpyridine (bpy) 2; 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy) 3; phenanthroline (phen) 4, 5-bromophenanthroline (Brphen) 5) for M = Cu(I), but [PtAg(2)(tdt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](SbF(6)) (6) and [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (diimine = bpy 7; dmbpy 8; phen 9; Brphen 10) for M = Ag(I). While the complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) result from linkage of Pt(diimine)(tdt) and [M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)](2+) by tdt sulfur donors, formation of [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2-5) is related to rupture of metal-ligand bonds in the metal components and recombination between the ligands and the metal atoms by self-assembly. The formation of 1 and 6 is involved not only in dissociation and recombination of the metal components, but also in disruption of C-S bonds in the dithiolate (tdt). The dithiolate tdt adopts a chelating and bridging coordination mode in anti conformation for [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (2-5), whereas there is the syn conformation for other complexes. Compounds 1 and 6 represent sparse examples of mu-SH-bridged heterotrinuclear Pt(II)M(I)(2) complexes, in which Pt(II)-M(I) centers are bridged by dppm and sulfur donors of tdt, whereas M(I)-M(I) (M = Cu for 1; Ag for 6) centers are linked by dppm and the mu-SH donor. The (31)P NMR spectra show typical platinum satellites (J(Pt-P) = 1450-1570 Hz) for 1-6 and Ag-P coupling for Pt(II)-Ag(I) (J(Ag-P) = 350-450 Hz) complexes 6-10. All of the complexes show intense emission in the solid state and in frozen glasses at 77 K. The complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) also afford emission in fluid acetonitrile solutions at room temperature. Solid-state emission lifetimes at room temperature are in the microsecond range. It is revealed that emission energies of the trinuclear heterometallic complexes [PtAg(2)(diimine)(tdt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (7-10) exhibit a remarkable blue shift (0.10-0.35 eV) relative to those of the precursor compounds Pt(diimine)(tdt). The crystal structures of 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 9 were determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Three new nanoscopic trigonal prisms, [(tmen)(6) Pd(6) (H(2)L)(3)](NO(3))(12) (1), [(Meen)(6) Pd(6)(H(2) L)(3)](NO(3))(12) (2), and [(2,2'-bipy)(6)Pd(6) (H(2)L)(3)](NO(3))(12) (3), have been synthesized in excellent yields through single-step metal-ligand-coordination-driven self-assembly using 5,10,15,20-tetrakis(3-pyridyl)porphyrin (H(2)L) as a donor and cis-blocked Pd(II) 90° acceptors. These complexes were fully characterized by spectroscopic studies and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. All of these barrels quantitatively bind Zn(II) ions in the N(4) pockets of the porphyrin walls at room temperature. Their corresponding zinc-embedded complexes, [(tmen)(6)Pd(6)(ZnL)(3)](NO(3))(12) (1?a), [(Meen)(6) Pd(6)(ZnL)(3)](NO(3))(12) (2?a), and [(2,2'-bipy)(6)Pd(6)(ZnL)(3)](NO(3))(12) (3?a), were synthesized under ambient conditions by the post-synthetic binding of Zn(II) ions into the H(2)N(4) pockets of the porphyrin walls of these complexes. These zinc-embedded complexes were characterized by electronic absorption, fluorescence emission, (1)H?NMR spectroscopy, as well as elemental analysis. Complexes 1-3 exhibited considerable microporosity in their solid state. Complex 1 was an efficient adsorbent for nitrogen gas and EtOH, MeOH, and water vapors.  相似文献

Palladium and platinum complexes with HmtpO (where HmtpO=4,7-dihydro-5-methyl-7-oxo[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine, an analogue of the natural occurring nucleobase hypoxanthine) of the types [M(dmba)(PPh3)(HmtpO)]ClO4[dmba=N,C-chelating 2-(dimethylaminomethyl)phenyl; M=Pd or Pt], [Pd(N-N)(C6F5)(HmtpO)]ClO4[N-N=2,2'-bipyridine (bpy), 4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (Me2bpy), or N, N, N', N'-tetramethylethylenediamine (tmeda)] and cis-[M(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2] (M=Pd or Pt) (head-to-head atropisomer in the solid state) have been obtained. Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes with the anion of HmtpO of the types [Pd(tmeda)(C6F5)(mtpO)], [Pd(dmba)(micro-mtpO)] 2, and [NBu4]2[M(C6F5)2(micro-mtpO)]2(M=Pd or Pt) have been prepared starting from the corresponding hydroxometal complexes. Complexes containing simultaneously both the neutral HmtpO ligand and the anionic mtpO of the type [NBu4][M(C6F5)2(HmtpO)(mtpO)] (M=Pd or Pt) have been also obtained. In these mtpO-HmtpO metal complexes, for the first time, prototropic exchange is observed between the two heterocyclic ligands. The crystal structures of [Pd(dmba)(PPh 3)(HmtpO)]+, cis-[Pt(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2].acetone, [Pd(C6F5)(tmeda)(mtpO)].2H2O, [Pd(dmba)(micro-mtpO)]2, [NBu4]2[Pd(C6F5)2(micro-mtpO)]2.CH2Cl2.toluene, [NBu4]2[Pt(C6F5)2(micro-mtpO)](2).0.5(toluene), and [NBu4][Pt(C6F5)2(mtpO)(HmtpO)] have been established by X-ray diffraction. Values of IC50 were calculated for the new platinum complexes cis-[Pt(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2] and [Pt(dmba)(PPh3)(HmtpO)]ClO4 against a panel of human tumor cell lines representative of ovarian (A2780 and A2780 cisR), lung (NCI-H460), and breast cancers (T47D). At 48 h incubation time, both complexes were about 8-fold more active than cisplatin in T47D and show very low resistance factors against an A2780 cell line, which has acquired resistance to cisplatin. The DNA adduct formation of cis-[Pt(C6F5)2(HmtpO)2] and [Pt(dmba)(PPh3)(HmtpO)]ClO4 was followed by circular dichroism and electrophoretic mobility. Atomic force microscopy images of the modifications caused by these platinum complexes on plasmid DNA pB R322 were also obtained.  相似文献

Reaction of Pt(diimine)(edt) (edt = 1,2-ethanedithiolate) with M(2)(dppm)(2)(MeCN)(2)(2+) (dppm = bis(diphenylphosphino)methane) gave heterotrinuclear complexes [PtCu(2)(edt)(mu-SH)(dppm)(3)](ClO(4)) (11) and [PtCu(2)(diimine)(2)(edt)(dppm)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (diimine = 2,2'-bpyridine (bpy), 12; 4,4'-dibutyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dbbpy), 13; phenanthroline (phen), 14; 5-bromophenanthroline (brphen), 15) when M = Cu(I). The reaction, however, afforded tetra- and trinuclear complexes [Pt(2)Ag(2)(edt)(2)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (17) and [PtAu(2)(edt)(dppm)(2)](SbF(6))(2) (21) when M = Ag(I) and Au(I), respectively. The complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, electrospray mass spectroscopy, (1)H and (31)P NMR, IR, and UV-vis spectrometry, and X-ray crystallography for 14, 17, and 18. The Pt(II)Cu(I)(2) heterotrinuclear complexes 11-15 exhibit photoluminescence in the solid states at 298 K and in the frozen acetonitrile glasses at 77 K. It is likely that the emission originates from a ligand-to-metal charge transfer (dithiolate-to-Pt) (3)[p(S) --> d(Pt)] transition for 11 and from an admixture of (3)[d(Cu)/p(S)-pi(diimine)] transitions for 12-16. The Pt(II)(2)Ag(I)(2) heterotetranuclear complexes 17 and 18 are nonemissive in the solid states and in solutions at 298 K but show photoluminescence at 77 K. The Pt(II)Au(I)(2) heterotrinuclear complexes 19-21, however, are luminescent at room temperature in the solid state and in solution. Compounds 19 and 20 afford negative solvatochromism associated with a charge transfer from an orbital of a mixed metal/dithiolate character to a diimine pi orbital.  相似文献

A series of novel dinuclear platinum(II) complexes were synthesized with bidentate nitrogen donor ligands. The two platinum centers are connected by an aliphatic chain of variable length. The selected chelating ligand system should stabilize the complex toward decomposition. The pK(a) values and reactivity of four synthesized complexes, viz. [Pt(2)(N(1),N(4)-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,4-butanediamine)(OH(2))(4)](4+) (4NNpy), [Pt(2)(N(1),N(6)-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,6-hexanediamine)(OH(2))(4)](4+) (6NNpy), [Pt(2)(N(1),N(8)-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,8-octanediamine)(OH(2))(4)](4+) (8NNpy), and [Pt(2)(N(1),N(10)-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)-1,10-decanediamine)(OH(2))(4)](4+) (10NNpy), were investigated. This system is of special interest because only little is known about the substitution behavior of dinuclear platinum complexes that contain a bidentate chelate that forms part of the aliphatic bridging ligand. Spectrophotometric acid-base titrations were performed to determine the pK(a) values of the coordinated water ligands. The substitution of coordinated water by thiourea was studied under pseudofirst-order conditions as a function of nucleophile concentration, temperature, and pressure, using stopped-flow techniques and UV-vis spectroscopy. The results for the dinuclear complexes were compared to those for the corresponding mononuclear reference complex [Pt(aminomethylpyridine)(OH(2))(2)](2+) (monoNNpy), by which the effect of increasing the aliphatic chain length on the bridged complexes could be investigated. The results indicated that there is a clear interaction between the two platinum centers, which becomes weaker as the chain length between the metal centers increases. In addition, quantum chemical calculations were performed to support the interpretation and discussion of the experimental data.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of three heteronuclear Pt(2)Pd(2) (4, 5) and PtPd(2) (6) complexes of the model nucleobase 9-methyladenine (9-MeA) is reported. The compounds were prepared by reacting [Pt(NH(3))(3)(9-MeA-N7)](ClO(4))(2) (1) with [Pd(en)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2) at different ratios r between Pt and Pd, with the goal to probe Pd(II) binding to any of the three available nitrogen atoms, N1, N3, N6 or combinations thereof. Pd(II) coordination occurs at N1 and at the deprotonated N6 positions, yet not at N3. 4 and 5 are isomers of [{(en)Pd}(2){N1,N6-9-MeA(-)-N7)Pt(NH(3))(3)}(2)](ClO(4))(6)·nH(2)O, with a head-head orientation of the two bridging 9-MeA(-) ligands in 4 and a head-tail orientation in 5. 6 is [{(en)Pd}(2)(OH)(N1,N6-9MeA(-)-N7)Pt(NH(3))(3)](ClO(4))(4)·4H(2)O, hence a condensation product between [Pt(NH(3))(3)(9-MeA-N7)](2+) and a μ-OH bridged dinuclear (en)Pd-OH-Pd(en) unit, which connects the N1 and N6 positions of 9-MeA(-) in an intramolecular fashion. 4 and 5, which slowly interconvert in aqueous solution, display distinct structural differences such as significantly different intramolecular Pd···Pd contacts (3.124 0(16) ? in 4; 2.986 6(14) ? in 5), among others. Binding of (en)Pd(II) to the exocyclic N6 atom in 4 and 5 is accompanied by a large movement of Pd(II) out of the 9-MeA(-) plane and a trend to a further shortening of the C6-N6 bond as compared to free 9-MeA. Five novel coordination polymers [Zn(2)(OA)(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)].0.5(4,4'-bipy), [Zn(2)(OA)(dib)(H(2)O)].H(2)O, [Zn(2)(OA)(bbi)(2)].3H(2)O, [Zn(2)(OA)(phen)(2)(H(2)O)] and [Zn(4)(OA)(2)(2,2'-bipy)(2)(H(2)O)].2H(2)O were obtained by hydrothermal reactions of Zn(NO(3))(2).6H(2)O with a V-shaped multicarboxylate ligand 3,3',4,4'-oxydiphthalic acid (H(4)OA) and a series of N-donor ligands, namely 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bipy), 1,4-di(1-imidazolyl)benzene (dib), 1,1'-(1,4-butanediyl)bis(imidazole) (bbi), 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), 2,2'-bipyridine (2,2'-bipy). The structures of the complexes were established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Complex exhibits a robust 3D porous structure with uncoordinated 4,4'-bipy molecules filling the cavities. Complexes and show a complicated 3D framework, while complexes and have a 2D network and a 1D helical chain structure, respectively. The results indicate that the multicarboxylate OA(4-) ligand can adopt varied coordination modes in the formation of the complexes and the influence of the N-donor ligand on the structure of the complexes is discussed. The photoluminescence properties of H(4)OA and were studied in the solid state at room temperature. Moreover, nonlinear optical measurements showed that displayed a second-harmonic-generation (SHG) response of 0.5 times of that for urea. The results suggested that the configuration and flexibility of the ligands play a key role in directing the related properties of the complexes.  相似文献

Four different poly(pyridine) complexes of ruthenium, viz. Ru(II)(trpy)(phen)(OH(2))](2+) (1), trans-[Ru(III)(2,2'bpy)(2)(OH(2))(OH)](2+) (2), [(2,2'bpy)(2)(OH)Ru(III)ORu(III)(OH)(2,2'bpy)(2)](4+) (3), and [Ru(II)(4,4'bpy)(NH(3))(5)](2+) (4) (2,2'bpy=2,2'-bipyridine, 4,4'bpy=4,4'-bipyridine, trpy=2,2',2"-terpyridine, phen=1,10-phenanthroline), were tested as non-physiological charge mediators of 'second-generation' glucose biosensors. The membranes for these biosensors were prepared by casting anionic carboxymethylated beta-cyclodextrin polymer films (beta-CDPA) directly onto the Pt or glassy carbon (GC) disk electrodes. Simultaneously, glucose oxidase (GOD) was immobilized in the films by covalent bonding and the Ru complexes were incorporated both by inclusion in the beta-CD molecular cavities and by ion exchange at the fixed carboxymethyl cation-exchange sites. The leakage of the mediator from the polymer has been minimized by adopting a suitable pre-treatment procedure. The biosensors catalytic activities increased in the order 1<2<3<4, as established by linear sweep voltammetry. In case of complexes 2-4, the enzymatic glucose oxidation was mediated by the Ru complexes at their redox potentials. However, this oxidation was mediated by oxygen in case of complex 1 where H(2)O(2) was detected as the reaction product. The effectiveness of the mediators used in the presence of oxygen has been estimated using Pt and GC supports. The redox potential of the mediator does not depend on the support used, while the oxidation of H(2)O(2) proceeds on GC at much higher positive potentials than on Pt. The sensitivity and the linear concentration range of the biosensor studied varied significantly. For complex 4, which forms stable inclusion complex with beta-CD, the biosensor sensitivity was the highest and equal to 7.2 micro A mM(-1) cm(-2), detectability was as low as 1 mM, but the linear concentration range was limited only to 4 mM. In contrast, for complexes 2 and 3 the sensitivity was 0.4 and 3.2 micro A mM(-1) cm(-2), while the linear concentration range extended up to at least 24 and 14 mM glucose, respectively. Even though some common interfering substances, such as ascorbate, paracetamol or urea, are oxidized at potentials close to those of the Ru complex redox couples, their electro-oxidation currents at physiological concentrations are insignificant compared to those due to the biocatalytic oxidation of glucose. The biosensor response to glucose is reversible as demonstrated by the inhibition of GOD activity by Cu(II). That is, the Cu(II) concentration required to inhibit by half the response to glucose of the biosensor containing complex 2 was 1.0 mM. This inhibitory effect was fully reversed by addition of citrate, a ligand forming sufficiently stable complex with Cu(II).  相似文献

The oxidation of (tmeda)Pt(II)(CH(3))(2) (1, tmeda = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine) to (tmeda)Pt(IV)(OH)(OCH(3))(CH(3))(2) (3) by dioxygen in methanol proceeds via a two-step mechanism. The initial reaction between (tmeda)Pt(CH(3))(2) and dioxygen yields a hydroperoxoplatinum(IV) intermediate, (tmeda)Pt(OOH)(OCH(3))(CH(3))(2) (2), which reacts with a second equivalent of (tmeda)Pt(CH(3))(2) to afford the final product 3. Both 2 and 3 have been fully characterized, including X-ray crystallographic structure determinations. The effect of ligand variation on the oxidation of several dimethylplatinum(II) complexes by 2 as well as by dioxygen has been examined.  相似文献

A series of functionalized adamantanes: 1,3-bis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)(tr(2)ad); 1,3,5-tris(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)-(tr(3)ad); 1,3,5,7-tetrakis(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)adamantanes (tr(4)ad) and 3,5,7-tris(1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)-1-azaadamantane (tr(3)ada) were developed as a new family of geometrically rigid polydentate tectons for supramolecular synthesis of framework solids. The coordination compounds were prepared under hydrothermal conditions; their structures reveal a special potential of the triazolyl adamantanes for the generation of highly-connected and open frameworks as well as structures based upon polynuclear metal clusters assembled with short-distance N(1),N(2)-triazole bridges. Complexes [Cd{L}(2)]A·nH(2)O [L = tr(3)ad, A = 2NO(3)(-) (4), CdCl(4)(2-) (5); L = tr(3)ada, A = CdI(4)(2-) (7)] are isomorphous and adopt a layered 3,6-connected structure of CdI(2) type. [{Cu(3)(OH)}(2)(SO(4))(5)(H(2)O)(2){tr(3)ad}(3)]·26H(2)O (6) is a layered polymer based upon Cu(3)(μ(3)-OH) nodes and trigonal tr(3)ad links. In [Cu(3)(OH)(2){tr(3)ada}(2)(H(2)O)(4)](ClO(4))(4) (8), [Cu(2){tr(3)ada}(2)(H(2)O)(3)](SO(4))(2)·7H(2)O (9) and [Cd(2){tr(3)ada}(3)]Cl(4)·28H(2)O (10) (UCl(3)-type net) the organic tripodal ligands bridge polynuclear metal clusters. Complexes [Ag{tr(4)ad}]NO(3)·3.5H(2)O (11) and [Cu{tr(4)ad}(H(2)O)](ClO(4))(2)·3H(2)O (12) have 3D SrAl(2)-type frameworks with the metal ions and adamantane tectons as topologically equivalent tetrahedral nodes, while in [Cd(3)Cl(6){tr(4)ad}(2)]·9H(2)O (13) the ligands bridge trinuclear six-connected Cd(3)Cl(6)(μ-tr)(4)(tr)(2) clusters. In the compounds [Cd(2){tr(2)ad}(4)(H(2)O)(4)](CdBr(4))(2)·2H(2)O (2) and [Cd{tr(2)ad}(4){CdI(3)}(2)]·4H(2)O (3) the bitopic ligands provide simple links between the metal ions, while in [Ag(2){tr(2)ad}(2)](NO(3))(2)·2H(2)O (1) the ligand is tetradentate and generates a 3D framework.  相似文献

The kinetics of substitution, by thiourea, of ethylenediamine (en) or N,N'-dimethylethylenediamine (Me(2)en) coordinated to palladium(II) in the complexes [Pd(4,4'-R(2)bpy)(en)](PF(6))(2) (bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine; R = H or Me), [Pd(en)(2)](PF(6))(2) and [Pd(Me(2)en)(2)](PF(6))(2) have been studied at 25 degrees C, pH 7 and various ionic strength values, in the presence of calf thymus DNA. The rate of the reaction in water depends on ionic strength, pH, and nucleophile concentration; at fixed pH and ionic strength the k(obsd) values are correlated to the square of the thiourea concentration. This rate law is not altered by the presence of DNA, but the rate of reaction is influenced, depending on the nature of ancillary ligand, L-L, bound to palladium. DNA inhibits the substitution process when L-L is bpy or 4,4'-Me(2)bpy and catalyzes the same reaction when L-L is en or Me(2)en. These opposite kinetic effects can be related to the noncovalent interactions of the various complexes with the DNA double helix. Inhibition of the reactivity of the complexes [Pd(4,4'-R(2)bpy)(en)](2+) is due to protection of the reaction center from nucleophile attack by DNA. Acceleration of the reaction when L-L is en or Me(2)en is related to the dependence of the rate of reaction on pH. If, due to the higher activity of water under the electric field of phosphate groups, hydronium ion concentration on DNA surface is higher than in the bulk solution, the enzyme-like dependence of the rate of reaction on [DNA] is due to progressive accumulation of the complexes around the double helix. Regardless of the complexes' nature, the rate constant values obtained in DNA at pH 7 correspond to values determined in water at pH 5. This pH value on the DNA surface, lower by about two units with respect to the bulk solution, is in good agreement with theoretical predictions. Acceleration of ethylenediamine substitution has been observed for all of the complexes studied in the presence of sodium polyvinylsulfonate.  相似文献

We have developed and optimized a well-controlled and refined methodology for the synthesis of substituted π-conjugated 4,4'-styryl-2,2'-bipyridine ligands and also adapted the tris(heteroleptic) synthetic approach developed by Mann and co-workers to produce two new representative Ru(II)-based complexes bearing the metal oxide surface-anchoring precursor 4,4'-bis[E-(p-methylcarboxy-styryl)]-2,2'-bipyridine. The two targeted Ru(II) complexes, (4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine)(4,4'-di-tert-butyl-2,2'-bipyridine)(4,4'-bis[E-(p-methylcarboxy-styryl)]-2,2'-bipyridine) ruthenium(II) hexafluorophosphate, [Ru(dmbpy)(dtbbpy)(p-COOMe-styryl-bpy)](PF(6))(2) (1) and (4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine)(4,4'-dinonyl-2,2'-bipyridine)(4,4'-bis[E-(p-methylcarboxy-styryl)]-2,2'-bipyridine) ruthenium(II) hexafluorophosphate, [Ru(dmbpy)(dnbpy)(p-COOMe-styryl-bpy)](PF(6))(2) (2) were obtained as analytically pure compounds in high overall yields (>50% after 5 steps) and were isolated without significant purification effort. In these tris(heteroleptic) molecules, NMR-based structural characterization became nontrivial as the coordinated ligand sets each sense profoundly distinct magnetic environments greatly complicating traditional 1D spectra. However, rational two-dimensional approaches based on both homo- and heteronuclear couplings were readily applied to these structures producing quite definitive analytical characterization and the associated methodology is described in detail. Preliminary photoluminescence and photochemical characterization of 1 and 2 strongly suggests that both molecules are energetically and kinetically suitable to serve as sensitizers in energy-relevant applications.  相似文献

We report the synthesis of free 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene (tape). Tape was obtained from 1,1'-bis-2,7-naphthyridine by potassium promoted cyclization followed by oxidation with air. Mono- and dinuclear ruthenium(II) 1,6,7,12-tetraazaperylene complexes of the general formulas [Ru(L-L)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2), [1](PF(6))(2)-[5](PF(6))(2), and [{Ru(L-L)(2)}(2)(μ-tape)](PF(6))(4), [6](PF(6))(4)-[10](PF(6))(4), with{L-L = phen, bpy, dmbpy (4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine), dtbbpy (4,4'-ditertbutyl-2,2'-bipyridine) and tmbpy (4,4'5,5'-tetramethyl-2,2'-bipyridine)}, respectively, were synthesized. The X-ray structures of tape·2CHCl(3) and the mononuclear complexes [Ru(bpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·0.5CH(3)CN·0.5toluene, [Ru(dmbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·2toluene and [Ru(dtbbpy)(2)(tape)](PF(6))(2)·3acetone·0.5H(2)O were solved. The UV-vis absorption spectra and the electrochemical behavior of the ruthenium(ii) tape complexes were explored and compared with the data of the analogous dibenzoeilatin (dbneil), 2,2'-bipyrimidine (bpym) and tetrapyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c:3',2'-h:2',3'-j]phenazin (tpphz) species.  相似文献

Diffusion of ammonia into CH(2)Cl(2) solutions of the dialkylcyanamide complexes cis- or trans-[PtCl(2)(RCN)(2)] (R = NMe(2), NEt(2), NC(5)H(10)) at 20-25 degrees C leads to metal-mediated cyanamide-ammonia coupling to furnish, depending on reaction time, one or another type of novel bisguanidine compound, i.e. the molecular cis- or trans-[PtCl(2){NH=C(NH(2))R}(2)] (cis- and trans-) and the cationic cis- or trans-[Pt(NH(3))(2){NH=C(NH(2))R}(2)](Cl)(2) (cis- and trans-) complexes. Compounds cis- or trans- were converted to cis- or trans-, accordingly, upon prolonged treatment with NH(3) in CH(2)Cl(2). The ammination of the relevant nitrile complexes cis- or trans-[PtCl(2)(RCN)(2)] (R = Et, CH(2)Ph, Ph) in CH(2)Cl(2) solutions affords only the cationic compounds cis- or trans-[Pt(NH(3))(2){NH=C(NH(2))R}(2)](Cl)(2) (cis- and trans-). The formulation of was supported by satisfactory C, H and N elemental analyses, agreeable ESI(+)-MS (or FAB(+)-MS), IR, (1)H and (13)C NMR spectroscopies. The structures of trans-, trans-, cis-, trans-, cis-, and cis- were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction disclosing structural features and showing that the ammination gives ligated guanidines and amidines in the E- and Z-forms, respectively, where both correspond to the trans-addition of NH(3) to the nitrile species.  相似文献
