In this paper, we derive the existence and uniqueness of the solution for a class of generalized reflected backward stochastic differential equations (GRBSDEs in short) driven by a Lévy process, which involve the integral with respect to a continuous process by means of the Snell envelope, the penalization method and the fixed point theorem. In addition, we obtain the comparison theorem for the solutions of the GRBSDEs. As an application, we give a probabilistic formula for the viscosity solution of an obstacle problem for a class of partial differential-integral equations (PDIEs in short) with a nonlinear Neumann boundary condition.  相似文献

In this paper we prove a viability result for multidimensional, time dependent, stochastic differential equations driven by fractional Brownian motion with Hurst parameter , using pathwise approach. The sufficient condition is also an alternative global existence result for the fractional differential equations with restrictions on the state.  相似文献

For a class of stable planes we define a notion of isotopy equivalence with respect to that class and prove that any two planes of a certain class of -planes comprising all affine -planes are isotopy equivalent. Furthermore we obtain that all affine -planes are isotopy equivalent in the class of affine -planes. Finally we give an example which shows that this approach cannot be easily generalized to 2-dimensional projective planes, and we outline a different way for a possible generalization.Received: 27 April 2001  相似文献

Precondition plays a critical role in the numerical methods for large and sparse linear systems. It is also true for nonlinear algebraic systems. In this paper incomplete Gröbner basis (IGB) is proposed as a preconditioner of homotopy methods for polynomial systems of equations, which transforms a deficient system into a system with the same finite solutions, but smaller degree. The reduced system can thus be solved faster. Numerical results show the efficiency of the preconditioner.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss Bauschke’s condition which requires that the fixed point set of the composition of nonexpansive mappings is equal to the intersection of the individual fixed point sets. We study the equisingularity of singularities of dimensionality type 1 (following Zariski’s terminology) for varieties that are not necessarily hypersurfaces. We view each variety as a family of space curves, some of them being nonreduced, and we characterize the simultaneous resolution of the family by means of some invariants of the curves of the family. The results can be applied for the study of the equisingularity theory supported on the stratification by simultaneous resolvability of singularities.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the stability properties of solutions of a class of functional differential equations with variable delay. By using the fixed point theory under an exponentially weighted metric, we obtain some interesting sufficient conditions ensuring that the zero solution of the equations is stable and asymptotically stable.  相似文献

This paper deals with the asymptotic distribution of Wishart matrix and its application to the estimation of the population matrix parameter when the population eigenvalues are block-wise infinitely dispersed. We show that the appropriately normalized eigenvectors and eigenvalues asymptotically generate two Wishart matrices and one normally distributed random matrix, which are mutually independent. For a family of orthogonally equivariant estimators, we calculate the asymptotic risks with respect to the entropy or the quadratic loss function and derive the asymptotically best estimator among the family. We numerically show (1) the convergence in both the distributions and the risks are quick enough for a practical use, (2) the asymptotically best estimator is robust against the deviation of the population eigenvalues from the block-wise infinite dispersion.  相似文献

Fitting circles and ellipses to given points in the plane is a problem that arises in many application areas, e.g., computer graphics, coordinate meteorology, petroleum engineering, statistics. In the past, algorithms have been given which fit circles and ellipses insome least-squares sense without minimizing the geometric distance to the given points.In this paper we present several algorithms which compute the ellipse for which thesum of the squares of the distances to the given points is minimal. These algorithms are compared with classical simple and iterative methods.Circles and ellipses may be represented algebraically, i.e., by an equation of the formF(x)=0. If a point is on the curve, then its coordinates x are a zero of the functionF. Alternatively, curves may be represented in parametric form, which is well suited for minimizing the sum of the squares of the distances.Dedicated to Åke Björck on the occasion of his 60th birthday  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to study the strong convergence of a process of implicit iteration to a common fixed point for a finite family of asymptotically hemi-contractive mappings. Our results extend a recent result of M.O. Osilike and B.G. Up to conjugation, there exist three different polarities of the projective plane over Hamilton's quaternions . The skew hyperbolic motion group of P2 is introduced as the centralizer of a polarity of the third kind. According to a result of R. Löwen, the quaternion plane is characterized among the eight-dimensional stable planes by the fact that it admits an effective action of the centralizer of a polarity of the first or second kind (i.e., the elliptic or the hyperbolic motion group). We provide lattice decompositions for multivariate distributions. The lattice decompositions reveal the structural relationship between the Lancaster/Bahadur model and the model of Streitberg (Ann. Statist. 18 (1990) 1878). For multivariate categorical data, the decompositions allows modeling strategy for marginal inference. The theory discussed in this paper illustrates the concept of reproducibility, which was discussed in Liang et al. (J. Roy. Statist. Soc. Ser. B 54 (1992) 3). For the purpose of delineating the relationship between the various types of decompositions of distributions, we develop a theory of polytypefication, the generality of which is exploited to prove results beyond interaction.  相似文献

A development of an inverse first-order divided difference operator for functions of several variables is presented. Two generalized derivative-free algorithms built up from Ostrowski’s method for solving systems of nonlinear equations are written and analyzed. A direct computation of the local order of convergence for these variants of Ostrowski’s method is given. In order to preserve the local order of convergence, any divided difference operator is not valid. Two counterexamples of computation of a classical divided difference operator without preserving the order are presented. A rigorous study to know a priori if the new method will preserve the order of the original modified method is presented. The conclusion is that this fact does not depend on the method but on the systems of equations and if the associated divided difference verifies a particular condition. A new divided difference operator solving this problem is proposed. Furthermore, a computation that approximates the order of convergence is generated for the examples and it confirms in a numerical way that the order of the methods is well deduced. This study can be applied directly to other Newton’s type methods where derivatives are approximated by divided differences.  相似文献

We study the positive stationary solutions of a standard finite-difference discretization of the semilinear heat equation with nonlinear Neumann boundary conditions. We prove that there exists a unique solution of such a discretization, which approximates the unique positive stationary solution of the “continuous” equation. Furthermore, we exhibit an algorithm computing an ε-approximation of such a solution by means of a homotopy continuation method. The cost of our algorithm is linear in the number of nodes involved in the discretization and the logarithm of the number of digits of approximation required.  相似文献
