Existence and estimate of large solutions for an elliptic system

In this paper, an elliptic system with boundary blow-up is considered in a smooth bounded domain. By constructing certain upper solution and subsolution, we show the existence of positive solutions and give a global estimate. Furthermore, the boundary behavior of positive solutions is also discussed.

利用Banach空间锥理论、算子的指数理论、上下解理论研究了含有一致椭圆型算子的椭圆边值问题变号解的存在性,同时分别得到了一个正解和一个负解.特别当非线性项是奇函数时,该边值问题至少存在一个正解,一个负解和两个变号解.

利用锥上Avery-Peterson不动点定理,研究了一类分数阶微分方程积分边值问题正解的存在性,给出了该边值问题至少存在三个正解的充分条件.     

GLOBAL BLOW-UP FOR A LOCALIZED DEGENERATE AND SINGULAR PARABOLIC EQUATION WITH WEIGHTED NONLOCAL BOUNDARY CONDITIONS

This paper deals with the blow-up properties of positive solutions to a localized degenerate and singular parabolic equation with weighted nonlocal boundary conditions. Under appropriate hypotheses, the global existence and finite time blow-up of positive solutions are obtained. Furthermore, the global blow-up behavior and the uniform blow-up profile of blow-up solutions are also described. We find that the blow-up set is the whole domain [0, a], including the boundaries, and this differs from parabolic equations with local sources case or with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions case.     

EXISTENCE AND NONEXISTENCE OF POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO A THREE-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM

In this paper, we are concerned with the existence and nonexistence of positive solutions to a three-point boundary value problems. By Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem in Banach space, we obtain sufficient conditions for the existence and non-existence of positive solutions to the above three-point boundary value problems.     

Blow-up of solutions for a system of nonlocal singular viscoelastic equations

The main propose of this paper is to study the blow-up of solutions of an initial boundary value problem with a nonlocal boundary condition for a system of nonlinear singular viscoelastic equations. where the blow-up of solutions in finite time with nonpositive initial energy combined with a positive initial energy are shown.

研究了含有一阶导数的四阶边值问题,利用度理论构造出的一个新的不动点定理,由Green函数的性质,给出了一类含有导数的四阶边值问题正解存在的充分条件,得到了边值问题正解存在的一些新结果.     

GLOBAL SOLUTIONS TO THE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS FOR COMPRESSIBLE HEAT-CONDUCTING FLOW WITH SYMMETRY AND FREE BOUNDARY

ABSTRACT

Global solutions of the multidimensional Navier-Stokes equations for compressible heat-conducting flow are constructed, with spherically symmetric initial data of large oscillation between a static solid core and a free boundary connected to a surrounding vacuum state. The free boundary connects the compressible heat-conducting fluids to the vacuum state with free normal stress and zero normal heat flux. The fluids are initially assumed to fill with a finite volume and zero density at the free boundary, and with bounded positive density and temperature between the solid core and the initial position of the free boundary. One of the main features of this problem is the singularity of solutions near the free boundary. Our approach is to combine an effective difference scheme to construct approximate solutions with the energy methods and the pointwise estimate techniques to deal with the singularity of solutions near the free boundary and to obtain the bounded estimates of the solutions and the free boundary as time evolves. The convergence of the difference scheme is established. It is also proved that no vacuum develops between the solid core and the free boundary, and the free boundary expands with finite speed.     

Existence of positive solutions for fourth‐order impulsive integral boundary value problems on time scales

This paper is devoted to the existence of positive solutions for a fourth‐order impulsive boundary value problem with integral boundary conditions on time scales. Existence results of at least two and three positive solutions are established via the double fixed point theorem and six functionals fixed point theorem, respectively. Bifurcation of positive solutions to scalar reaction–diffusion equations with nonlinear boundary condition

The bifurcation of non-trivial steady state solutions of a scalar reaction–diffusion equation with nonlinear boundary conditions is considered using several new abstract bifurcation theorems. The existence and stability of positive steady state solutions are proved using a unified approach. The general results are applied to a Laplace equation with nonlinear boundary condition and bistable nonlinearity, and an elliptic equation with superlinear nonlinearity and sublinear boundary conditions.

应用算子特征值准则研究了一类高阶多点边值问题多重正解的存在性,其中非线性项满足Caratheodory条件.将特征值准则应用到n阶m点的非线性边值问题,并证明了微分方程至少三正解的存在性.
