The combined influence of unsteady effects and free-stream nonuniformity on the variation of the flow structure near the stagnation line and the mechanical and thermal surface loads is investigated within the framework of the thin viscous shock layer model with reference to the example of the motion of blunt bodies at constant velocity through a plane temperature inhomogeneity. The dependence of the friction and heat transfer coefficients on the Reynolds number, the shape of the body and the parameters of the temperature inhomogeneity is analyzed. A number of properties of the flow are established on the basis of numerical solutions obtained over a broad range of variation of the governing parameters. By comparing the solutions obtained in the exact formulation with the calculations made in the quasisteady approximation the region of applicability of the latter is determined. In a number of cases of the motion of a body at supersonic speed in nonuniform media it is necessary to take into account the effect of the nonstationarity of the problem on the flow parameters. In particular, as the results of experiments [1] show, at Strouhal numbers of the order of unity the unsteady effects are important in the problem of the motion of a body through a temperature inhomogeneity. In a number of studies the nonstationary effect associated with supersonic motion in nonuniform media has already been investigated theoretically. In [2] the Euler equations were used, while in [3–5] the equations of a viscous shock layer were used; moreover, whereas in [3–4] the solution was limited to the neighborhood of the stagnation line, in [5] it was obtained for the entire forward surface of a sphere. The effect of free-stream nonuniformity on the structure of the viscous shock layer in steady flow past axisymmetric bodies was studied in [6, 7] and for certain particular cases of three-dimensional flow in [8–11].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 175–180, May–June, 1990.  相似文献

The results are given of calculations of supersonic diverging flow past the spherical front of a body obtained using the Navier-Stokes equations. Flows at moderate Reynolds numbers are considered. A study is made of the influence of the nonuniformity of the oncoming flow on the flow field in the shock layer and on the distribution of the pressure, the friction coefficient, and the heat flux over the surface of the sphere.  相似文献

Unseparated viscous gas flow past a body is numerically investigated within the framework of the theory of a thin viscous shock layer [13–15]. The equations of the hypersonic viscous shock layer with generalized Rankine-Hugoniot conditions at the shock wave are solved by a finite-difference method [16] over a broad interval of Reynolds numbers and values of the temperature factor and nonuniformity parameters. Calculation results characterizing the effect of free-stream nonuniformity on the velocity and temperature profiles across the shock layer, the friction and heat transfer coefficients and the shock wave standoff distance are presented. The unseparated flow conditions are investigated and the critical values of the nonuniformity parameter ak [10] at which reverse-circulatory zones develop on the front of the body are obtained as a function of the Reynolds number. The calculations are compared with the asymptotic solutions [10, 12].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 154–159, May–June, 1987.  相似文献

The pressure oscillations over a forward facing spike attached to an axisymmetric blunt body are simulated by solving time-dependent compressible Navier–Stokes equations. The governing fluid flow equations are discretized in spatial coordinates employing a finite volume approach which reduces the equations to semidiscretized ordinary differential equations. Temporal integration is performed using the two-stage Runge–Kutta time stepping scheme. A global time step is used to obtain a time-accurate numerical solution. The numerical computation is carried out for a freestream Mach number of 6.80 and for spike length to hemispherical diameter ratios of 0.5, 1.0 and 2.0. The flow features around the spiked blunt body are characterized by a conical shock wave emanating from the spike tip, a region of separated flow in front of the hemispherical cap, and the resulting reattachment shock wave. Comparisons of the numerical results are made with the available experimental results, such as schlieren pictures and the surface pressure distribution along the spiked blunt body. They are found to be in good agreement. Spectral analysis of the computed pressure oscillations are performed employing fast Fourier transforms. The surface pressure oscillations over the spike and phase plots exhibit a behaviour analogous to that of the Van der Pol equation for a self-sustained oscillatory flow. The results of mathematical simulation of hypersonic air flow past a sphere with allowance for chemical nonequilibrium and ionization are presented. The calculated data are obtained on the basis of a numerical solution of the Navier-Stokes equations and the hypersonic viscous shock layer equations. The equilibrium radiation temperature of the body surface, the pressure, and the shock wave detachment are compared for these models. The combined effect of molecular transport and the catalytic properties of the body surface on the aerodynamic heating is analyzed. The results of the effect of certain models of the thermochemical disequilibrium of the gas on the temperature of the body surface are also analyzed along a heat-stressed interval of the reentry trajectory of an aerospace vehicle.Moscow. The problem of axisymmetric nonuniform gas flow past smooth blunt bodies at high Mach numbers is investigated. The approach stream is a parallel axisymmetric flow in which the velocity and temperature depend on the radial distance from the axis of symmetry and the pressure is constant. On the axis of symmetry the velocity has a minimum and the temperature a maximum. A characteristic feature of this flow is the existence of two qualitatively different flow regimes: separated [1-4], when in the shock layer on the front of the body there is a closed region of reverse-circulating flow, and unseparated [5, 6], when there is no such zone. In this study the case of unseparated flow is investigated. The equations of a thin viscous shock layer with generalized Rankine-Hugoniot conditions at the shock and boundary conditions on the body that take into account the supply of gas from the surface are solved numerically. The effect of the gas supply on the conditions of unseparated flow is analyzed in relation to the Reynolds number, and the critical values of the nonuniformity parameter a = ak [5] are obtained. It is shown that at high Reynolds numbers the supply of gas from the surface has practically no effect on ak, while at low and intermediate Reynolds numbers it reduces the region of unseparated flow. For high Reynolds numbers and an intense supply of gas from the surface an asymptotic solution of the problem is obtained for the neighborhood of the stagnation point. This is compared with the numerical solution.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 122–129, July–August, 1988.The authors wish to thank G. A. In the framework of the approximation of local similarity to the Navier-Stokes equations, an investigation is made of the axisymmetric flow of homogeneous gas in a hypersonic shock layer, this including the region of transition through the shock wave. Boundary conditions, which take into account blowing of gas, are specified on the surface of the body and in the undisturbed flow. A numerical solution to the problem is obtained in a wide range of variation of the Reynolds number and the blowing parameter. Expressions are found for the dependences on the blowing parameter usually employed in boundary layer theory of the coefficients of friction and heat transfer on the surface of the body, which are divided by their values obtained for blowing parameter equal to zero. It is shown that these dependences are universal and the same as the dependences obtained from the solution of the equations of a hypersonic viscous shock layer with modified Rankin-Hugoniot relations across the shock wave and from the solution of the boundary layer equations.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 1, pp. 199–202, January–February, 1980.  相似文献

The results are given of a numerical investigation of the flow of dusty gas over the complete front surface of a sphere. The flow conditions are varied over a wide range in which the state of the gas suspension in the shock layer changes from a frozen to an equilibrium state. The phenomenological approach [5] is used to derive the system of equations describing the behavior of the two-phase medium. The system of conservation equations for the gas—solid-particle mixture is closed by means of relations that generalize the experimental data.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 3, pp. 73–77, May–June, 1982.  相似文献

A large number of papers has been devoted to the investigation of the interaction of a plane shock wave with bodies of various geometric shapes, and they have been generalized and classified for a stationary body in [1, 2]. Separate results of experimental and theoretical investigations of the interaction of a shock wave with a wedge, cone, sphere, and cylinder moving with supersonic velocities are contained in [3–9]. Analysis of the available results shows that the features of the unsteady gas flows formed in this case largely depend on the nature of the boundary-value problem that arises for the system of differential gas dynamic equations. The question of the wave structure of the unsteady gas flow and the accuracy of the obtained solution is central to the numerical investigation of the present class of problems. The most characteristic types of unsteady self-similar gas flows that arise on the interaction of a plane shock wave with bodies of a wedge or convex corner type are calculated on the basis of an explicit numerical continuous calculation method of the second order of accuracy. The accuracy of the numerical solutions is discussed on the basis of a comparison with the experimental data. The case of the interaction of a shock wave with the rarefaction wave that arises in a supersonic flow past a convex corner is considered.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 146–152, July–August, 1986.  相似文献

The propagation of weak shock waves and the conditions for their existence in a gas-liquid medium are studied in [1]. The article [2] is devoted to an examination of powerful shock waves in liquids containing gas bubbles. The possibility of the existence in such a medium of a shock wave having an oscillatory pressure profile at the front is demonstrated in [3] based on the general results of nonlinear wave dynamics. It is shown in [4, 5] that a shock wave in a gas-liquid mixture actually has a profile having an oscillating pressure. The drawback of [3–5] is the necessity of postulating the existence of the shock waves. This is connected with the absence of a direct calculation of the dissipative effects in the fundamental equations. The present article is devoted to the theoretical and experimental study of the structure of a shock wave in a gas-liquid medium. It is shown, within the framework of a homogeneous biphasic model, that the structure of the shock wave can be studied on the basis of the Burgers-Korteweg-de Vries equation. The results of piezoelectric measurements of the pressure profile along the shock wave front agree qualitatively with the theoretical representations of the structure of the shock wave.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 3, pp. 65–69, May–June, 1973.  相似文献

A consistent asymptotic theory of wall flow with film formation is constructed with reference to subsonic two-phase flow over a blunt body. The external flow problem and the film equations are solved simultaneously. This formulation of the problem supplements the investigation carried out in [4] in which particles deposited on the surface were assumed to disappear from the flow. It is shown that depending on the values of the governing parameters the flow in the film should be described either by the boundary layer equations or by the equations of creeping flow in a layer of unknown thickness. At the outer edge of the film the mass, momentum and energy fluxes found from the numerical solution of the flow problem are given. The case of isothermal film flow on the front of a sphere is investigated. The thickness of the film and the friction and heat transfer coefficients near the axis of symmetry are found for nonisothermal flows. The conditions under which the presence of a film significantly reduces the heat flow to the wall are determined. A similar formulation of the problem (but with another type of mass, momentum and energy sources at the outer edge) is encountered in problems of film condensation on a cold surface [5, 6].Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 85–92, July–August, 1989.  相似文献

The structure of a collisionless shock wave at the front of which ion-acoustic turbulence is excited is investigated. On the basis of the theory of anomalous resistance, equations are obtained for the oscillational spectrum and the particle distribution function in the plasma which, when known, make it possible to determine the magnetic field profile, density, and other macroscopic characteristics of the shock wave. The possibility of comparing theoretical predictions with experimental results from light scattering at the shock front is discussed.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 3, pp. 38–43, May–June, 1974.The author thanks R. Unsteady supersonic flow regimes in the neighborhood of a stagnation point are investigated on the basis of a system of viscous shock layer equations [10] containing all the terms of the Euler equations and the boundary layer equations. An analytic solution of the unsteady equations valid near the surface of the body is found in the case of strong injection. The unsteady equations of the viscous shock layer are solved numerically on the basis of a divergent implicit scheme of the second order of approximation across the shock layer, using Newtonian linearization and vector sweep methods with allowance for the boundary relations on the surface of the body and at the isolated bow shock. Certain calculation results illustrating the effect of injection, surface cooling, the swirl of the external flow and the angular velocity of the body on the structure of the steady and unsteady viscous shock layer are presented.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 5, pp. 114–122, September–October, 1987.  相似文献

Unsteady problems are solved numerically for the system of one-dimensional quasilinear equations describing the flow in the capillaries of the circulatory system and the mass transfer between a capillary and the surrounding tissue. The effect of oscillations of the entrance pressure and the passage of a protein concentration jump on the characteristics of the system is investigated. The influence of the degree and nonuniformity of capillary wall permeability and lymphatic drainage factors is also examined. The sphere of applicability of the equations and the possibility of an analytical investigation of capillary flow are discussed.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 14–20, July–August, 1986.  相似文献

The laws of heat transfer associated with the interaction of underexpanded supersonic gas jets and obstacles or blunt bodies have been investigated, for example, in [1–3]. Similar problems of nonuniform flow occur when bodies move in the wake behind other bodies; however, in this case the laws of heat transfer have so far received little attention [4–8]. It has been established that for a certain Reynolds number and flow nonuniformity parameters a zone of reverse-circulatory flow develops near the front of the blunt body. However, the conditions of transition to separated flow have not been determined. This paper presents a self-similar solution of the equations of the viscous shock layer near the stagnation line in supersonic flow past an axisymmetric blunt body located behind another body. On the basis of this solution a separationless flow criterion is proposed. The effect of the nonuniformity and the Reynolds number on the shock standoff distance, the convective heat flux and the friction drag of the blunt body is investigated. Hypersonic rarefied flow past blunt bodies is studied in the continuum-free-molecular transition regime. On the basis of an asymptotic analysis three rarefied gas flow patterns are established depending on the relation between the relevant parameters of the problem. In the first regime corresponding to a cold surface asymptotic solutions of the equations of a thin viscous shock layer are derived at low Reynolds numbers in the axisymmetric and plane cases. Simple analytical expressions for the pressure and the heat transfer and friction coefficients are obtained as functions of the freestream parameters and the body geometry. With decrease in the Reynolds number the coefficients approach the values corresponding to free-molecular flow. In this regime a similarity parameter for the hypersonic rarefied flow past bodies is determined. The asymptotic solutions are compared with numerical solutions and the results of direct statistical simulation by the Monte Carlo method.  相似文献

The spatio-temporal dynamics of small disturbances in viscous supersonic flow over a blunt flat plate at freestream Mach number M=2.5 is numerically simulated using a spectral approximation to the Navier–Stokes equations. The unsteady solutions are computed by imposing weak acoustic waves onto the steady base flow. In addition, the unsteady response of the flow to velocity perturbations introduced by local suction and blowing through a slot in the body surface is investigated. The results indicate distinct disturbance/shock-wave interactions in the subsonic region around the leading edge for both types of forcing. While the disturbance amplitudes on the wall retain a constant level for the acoustic perturbation, those generated by local suction and blowing experience a strong decay downstream of the slot. Furthermore, the results prove the importance of the shock in the distribution of perturbations, which have their origin in the leading-edge region. These disturbance waves may enter the boundary layer further downstream to excite instability modes.  相似文献

Supersonic flow around a blunt body by an ideal gas with a constant specific heat ratio is considered. The dependence of the geometry of the subsonic section of the shock wave on the shape of the body and the freestream Mach number is studied. Analysis of the large quantity of numerical data has permitted simple approximate relations to be formulated for the principal geometrical parameters of the wave, which can be used for solving the problem of flow around a quite broad class of bodies. The question of the characteristic dimensions in such problems is also discussed.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Mekhanika Zhidkosti i Gaza, No. 4, pp. 77–83, July–August, 1976.In conclusion, the author expresses his thanks to V. In the present study using the Newtonian approximation [1] we obtain an analytical solution to the problem of flow of a steady, uniform, hypersonic, nonviscous, radiating gas past a sphere. The three-dimensional radiative-loss approximation is used. A distribution is found for the gasdynamic parameters in the shock layer, the withdrawal of the shock wave and the radiant thermal flux to the surface of the sphere. The Newtonian approximation was used earlier in [2, 3] to analyze a gas flow with radiation near the critical line. In [2] the radiation field was considered in the differential approximation, with the optical absorption coefficient being assumed constant. In [3] the integrodifferential energy equation with account of radiation was solved numerically for a gray gas. In [4–7] the problem of the flow of a nonviscous, nonheat-conducting gas behind a shock wave with account of radiation was solved numerically. To calculate the radiation field in [4, 7] the three-dimensional radiative-loss approximation was used; in [5, 6] the self-absorption of the gas was taken into account. A comparison of the equations obtained in the present study for radiant flow from radiating air to a sphere with the numerical calculations [4–7] shows them to have satisfactory accuracy.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 6, pp. 44–49, November–December, 1972.In conclusion the author thanks G. On the basis of experimental observations and theoretical analysis of flow structure in the neighborhood of the triple point, it is shown that one should reject the condition for equality of the angle of deflection of flows passing through the Mach front and the two other fronts and replace it with some supplementary condition. The system of consistency equations in the indicated region is closed by an equation which is obtained under the assumption of the extremality of the deflection angle of a flow passing through the incident and reflected fronts. Calculations of the pressure drops behind the shock fronts agree with experimental data in this case.Translated from Zhurnal Prikladnoi Mekhaniki i Tekhnicheskoi Fiziki, No. 5, pp. 26–33, September–October, 1973.The authors thank S.
