The lipids of the tuberous roots ofMandragora turcomanica Mizger (fam. Solanaceae) have been characterized for the first time. By using CC, TLC, Ag+-TLC, UV and IR spectroscopies and mass spectrometry, 20 classes of lipids and lipophilic substances have been characterized. The main components of the acyl-containing lipids that were isolated were found to be triacylglycerols and glycolipids, and among the lipophilic compounds they were alkanols and sterols; in the mixture of fatty acids of the acyl-containing lipids the 18:2, 18:1, and 16:0 acids predominated.Translated from Khimiya Prirodnykh Soedinenii, No. 5, pp. 615–623, September–October, 1994.  相似文献

Lipid components of the seeds ofViburnum opulus (Caprifoliaceae family) were investigated. The neutral lipids consist of eight classes, the glycolipids consist of three classes, and the phospholipids contain seven classes. The fatty-acid contents of all of the acyl-containing lipids were determined. The 18∶2 fatty acid is the main component of all the lipid fractions. The content of saturated acids is greater in the glycolipids and phospholipids. The lipophilic components, higher fatty alcohols and sterols, were identified.  相似文献

The variation of the composition of neutral and polar lipids and lipophilic components during maturation of guelder rose (V. opulus L., fam. Caprifoliaceae) fruits was investigated. During fruit ripening, all lipid groups are accumulated, the highest accumulation rate being observed in the first period of maturation. In nonpolar lipids, this is due to a substantial increase in the content of triacylglycerides, whereas the contents of free fatty acids, methyl esters of fatty acids, monoacylglycerides, and especially esters of triterpenoid compounds decrease. During early maturation, all acyl-containing classes of lipids contain large amounts of saturated fatty acids (mainly, 16:0), whose content decreases during ripening, while the contents of unsaturated 18:1 and 18:2 acids increase.  相似文献

The composition of free and bound lipids from seeds of Cortusa turkestanica A. Lozinsk (Primulaceae) was studied. The fatty acid composition of principal acyl-containing classes was established using GC/MS. It was found that triacylglycerines isolated from free and bound lipids contained the usual acids and rarely encountered polyunsaturated 18:3 ω-6 (γ-linolenic, 8.8 and 3.2%) and 18:4 ω-3 (stearidonic, 0.7 and 0.4%) acids and were enriched in linoleic acid (18:2, ω-6, 58.2 and 60.8%, respectively). It was found that polyunsaturated 18:3 ω-6 and 18:4 ω-3 acids were missing in the free form and were found among polar substances of bound lipids.  相似文献

The composition of the classes of lipids of the fruit of three morphological forms of the elaeagnusElaeagnus angustifolia L. have been studied. Their compositions were identical. The amounts of the main lipid classes of extracts of the seeds and pericarps, the fatty acid compositions of the acyl-containing classes of lipids, and the compositions of the carbohydrates and sterols have been determined. The fatty oil of the seeds contained linoleic acid, while the main fatty acids of the pericarp extracts were the 16:0, 18:1, and 18:2 acids. The 16:1 acid that is characteristic for sea buckthorn oil was detected in the elaegnus fruit in insignificant amounts. The class of sterols, both in the free and in the esterified states, was represented by -sitosterol. The main hydrocarbon of the pericarps and seeds was nonacosane.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent. Lipids from the air-dried aerial part (AP) and seeds of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaerth. (Asteraceae) were studied. The class and fatty acid compositions of neutral lipids (AP, seeds) and glyco- and phospholipids (AP) were determined. Neutral lipids (NL) with a complicated set of lipophilic components, mainly triterpenols, sterols, and their esters predominated in the AP. The fatty acids of the AP were dominated by 16:0, 18:2 (glycolipids), and 18:3 (neutral lipids, phospholipids); of seed NL, by 18:2 and 18:1. The content and composition of flavolignans isolated from defatted seeds and the content of total protein in the meal were found.  相似文献

This review gives quantitative results of the separation of individual classes of polar glycerolipids of natural and synthetic origin into their individual species. Universal quantitative criteria calculated from the fatty-acid composition of the species obtained or of their mixtures are proposed for determining the degree of reliability of these results. The fractionation of the initial acyl-containing glycerolipids, their N- and O-derivatives with high hydrophobicity, the products of the enzymatic hydrolysis of the native lipids (diacylglycerols, phosphatidic acids) and also the lipophilic O-derivatives of these products is considered. For all these compounds, the results of their separation by the methods of TLC and HPLC both in the form of the adsorption chromatography of the coordination complexes with silver and also in the form of reversed-phase chromatography are discussed. Long-chain acyl Coenzyme A (CoA) is essentially composed of three major chemical groups, fatty acyl-, phosphopantetheino-, and 3′, 5′,-adenosine diphospho-moieties. The negative ion fast-atom bombardment mass spectrometry spectra of long-chain acyl CoA thioesters were characterized by the formation of abundant [M ? H]? and two distinct classes of fragment ions, one class which retained the acyl group and another class which is related to CoA that contains the phosphopantethene and adenine. The ions which retained the acyl group in the spectrum of palmitoyl CoA appeared at m/z 675, 657, 595, and 577 and were found to decompose by loss of alkylketene observed at m/z 357 and 339. Those ions which retained the adenine group were observed at m/z 426 and 408. In contrast to these ions observed following fast-atom bombardment ionization, tandem mass spectrometry of the [M ? H]?, from palmitoyl CoA (m/z 1004), yielded the adenine-containing ions as major products and the acyl-containing ions were of low abundance or not detected. These results suggested that the formation of many characteristic ions observed in direct FAB analysis occurred during the desorption process. The unique relationship between ions which involved the transition from acyl-containing ions to only CoA-containing ions by the loss of alkylketene allowed the development of tandem mass spectrometry protocols for the analysis of acyl CoA mixtures. Precursor scans of either m/z 357 or 339 yielded the identification of each species in a complex mixture. Identification of specific species was obtained with a neutral loss scan of the mass for a specific alkylketene.  相似文献
