It has been shown that in the biomass ofMonochrysis lutheri grown under the conditions of an accumulation culture with periodic illumination the level of total lipids, including the majority of classes of glycolipids and some phospholipids, is lower than on continuous illumination. In the fatty acids of the triacylglycerols the amounts of the 20:4 and 20:5 species were somewhat lower while the amounts of polar lipids had increased.  相似文献

A combination of column chromatography (CC), gas chromatography (GC), thin layer chromatography (TLC) and liquid chromatography (LC) techniques were performed to analyze lipid classes, fatty acids and fat-soluble bioactives of Derris indica crude seed oil. Hexane extract of Derris indica oilseeds was found to be 56%. Level of neutral lipids in the crude seed oil was the highest, followed by glycolipids and phospholipids, respectively. Linoleic followed by α-linolenic, palmitic and oleic were the major fatty acids in the crude seed oil. The ratio of unsaturated fatty acids to saturated fatty acids was higher in neutral lipid classes than in the polar lipid fractions. The oil was characterized by a relatively high amount of phytosterols, wherein the sterol markers were β-sitosterol, campesterol and stigmasterol. γ-Tocopherol was the major tocopherol while the rest being α-tocopherol. In consideration of potential utilization, detailed knowledge on the composition of Derris indica oil is of major importance.  相似文献

The lipids of the tuberous roots ofMandragora turcomanica Mizger (fam. Solanaceae) have been characterized for the first time. By using CC, TLC, Ag+-TLC, UV and IR spectroscopies and mass spectrometry, 20 classes of lipids and lipophilic substances have been characterized. The main components of the acyl-containing lipids that were isolated were found to be triacylglycerols and glycolipids, and among the lipophilic compounds they were alkanols and sterols; in the mixture of fatty acids of the acyl-containing lipids the 18:2, 18:1, and 16:0 acids predominated.  相似文献

The lipid complex of the seeds ofHeracleum lehmannianum B. has been studied. The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the neutral lipids and the phospho- and glycolipids, and the fatty acid compositions of the acyl-containing classes of lipids have been determined. It has been shown that the neutral and the polar lipids differ considerably from one another with respect to the level of certain fatty acids. The position-species compositions of the TAGS and of the main components of the phospholipids have been calculated from the results of lipolytic hydrolysis.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, fax (3712) 89 14 75. Lipids from the air-dried aerial part (AP) and seeds of Silybum marianum (L.) Gaerth. (Asteraceae) were studied. The class and fatty acid compositions of neutral lipids (AP, seeds) and glyco- and phospholipids (AP) were determined. Neutral lipids (NL) with a complicated set of lipophilic components, mainly triterpenols, sterols, and their esters predominated in the AP. The fatty acids of the AP were dominated by 16:0, 18:2 (glycolipids), and 18:3 (neutral lipids, phospholipids); of seed NL, by 18:2 and 18:1. The content and composition of flavolignans isolated from defatted seeds and the content of total protein in the meal were found.  相似文献

The compositions of the neutral lipids, glycolipids, phospholipids and fatty acids of the brown algaeLaminaria japonica andLaminaria cichoriodes have been studied. It has been found that the glycolipids are the main lipid classes in these algae. Palmitic, oleic, and polyunsaturated acids with 18 and 20 carbon atoms form the group of main acids. The lipids of both species of theLaminaria genus have a complex composition but they differ by the ratios of their fatty acids.Institute of Marine Biology, Far-eastern Scientific Center, Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok, fax (4232) 310900, e-mail: lipid@biom.marine.su. A comparative study has been made of the lipid composition of healthy roots of the cotton plant of the Tashkent-1 variety (I) and of the corresponding plants infected withVerticillium dahliae Kleb. (II) grown under field conditions. The action of the factors of infection stress and seasonal and climatic conditions change the lipid metabolism. In lipids (I) and (II) seven classes of neutral lipids (NLs), three classes of glycolipids, and six classes of phospholipids (PLs) were identified and their fatty acid compositions were determined. It was established that in (II) there was a smaller amount of total lipids, NLs, and PLs, and an increased level of polyphenolic pigments, but the level of gossypol pigments with free aldehyde groups was unchanged. In the NLs of (II), as compared with (I), there were more triacylglycerols, sterols, triterpenols, and squalene. Complex changes were observed in the fatty acid composition of the acyl-containing lipids.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Uzbek SSR Academy of Sciences, Tashkent. Lipids were extracted from lemon wax and fractionated into four classes on a silicic acid glass packed column by thin-layer chromatography (TLC). The free fatty acids, the fatty acid composition and the amount of each separated lipids were determined by capillary column gas chromatography (GC). Total lipids (TL) were 60 mg per 100 g raw weight and the ratio of nonpolar lipids (NPLs): glycolipids (GLs): phospholipids (PLs) was about 47:2:2. The main free fatty acids in lemon wax were hexadecanoic acid, cis-9-octadecenoic acid and cis,cis-9,12-octadecadienoic acid, while in the lipid fractions the main fatty acids were hexadecanoic acid in all the fractions, cis-cis-9,12-octadecadienoic and decanoic acids in triglyceride (TG) fraction, dodecanoic and cis-9-octadecenoic acids in diglyceride (DG) fraction and tetradecanoic, octadecanoic and cis-9-octadecenoic acids in GL and PL fractions. The ratio of unsaturated to saturated fatty acids showed a remarkable difference among these four lipid fractions. In PL and GL fractions this ratio was similar, 47.7% and 47.1% respectively, and in TG fraction it was 42.4% while in DG fraction this value was 23.5%.  相似文献

The wide range of lipid classes found in plant tissues, including simple lipids, glycolipids, and phospholipids, have been resolved by gradient high performance liquid chromatography with evaporative light-scattering detection. The lipids from potato tubers were used to optimize the separations. Adsorption chromatography with silica gel gave disappointing results for the plant glycolipids. Much better separations were obtained with chemically bonded stationary phases, e.g. those with propionitrile or polymeric vinyl alcohol as the functional moiety. With careful calibration, good reproducibility was possible. Only highly acidic lipids such as phosphatidylserine still present some problems.  相似文献

Lipids from fruit pulp of the sweet red pepper (Capsicum annuum, Solanaceae) were characterized. The principal components of the lipids from pepper fruit pulp were neutral lipids with predominance of triacylglycerines (55.8%). The polar lipids contained sulfoquinovosyldiacylglycerines and phosphotidylglycerines. The fatty-acid compositions of the neutral lipids, glycolipids, and phospholipids were determined.  相似文献

Reaction efficiencies of two organic alkalis, tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) and trimethylsulfonium hydroxide (TMSH), with lipids during thermally assisted hydrolysis and methylation (THM) were examined focusing on (1) the types of lipids and (2) degree of unsaturation of fatty acid moieties. Different types of lipids such as triglycerides, phospholipids, free fatty acids and cholesteryl esters containing saturated, monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) residues were subjected to THM-gas chromatography (GC) in the presence of TMAH or TMSH. The obtained results revealed that the THM reaction using TMAH allowed almost quantitative methylation of saturated and monounsaturated fatty acid components independently of the classes of lipids. However, strong alkalinity of TMAH brought about isomerization and/or degradation of PUFA components. In contrast, the use of TMSH was effective to highly sensitive detection of PUFA as well as saturated and monounsaturated fatty acid components contained in triglycerides, phospholipids (phosphatidylcholines) and free fatty acids. On the other hand, TMSH was proved to react hardly with any kind of fatty acid residues in cholesteryl esters due to their steric hindrance.  相似文献

The free, bound, and strongly bound lipids of the seed kernels of the cotton plant of variety 108-F have been studied. It has been shown that the free and bound lipids include 97.3% and 47.6% of neutral lipids, respectively. The polar lipids consist mainly of phospholipids and glycolipids. Two groups of glycolipids — sterol glycosides and glycosylglycerides — have been isolated and their compositions have been determined.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent. The surface lipids of the coat and the lipids of the kernel of the seeds of a wild form of the medium-fibered cotton plantGossypium mexicanum var.nervosum have been studied in comparison with cultured species. Using the methods of CC, TLC, and GLC, and UV and mass spectrometry, in the cuticular lipids ofG. mexicanum three classes of neutral lipids have been detected, and in the kernel lipids 10 classes of neutral lipids, 2 classes of glycolipids, and 7 classes of phospholipids. The structures of the epoxyacyl-, hydroxyacyl-, and diacylglycerols of the kernel have been established. The greatest differences between the seeds of the wild form of the cotton plant and the cultured species are the greater weight of the seed coat, the presence in it of a considerable amount of the 18:1 and of medium-molecular-weight fatty acids, and a higher level in the kernel of gossypol pigments, polar lipids, and acylglycerols containing the 18:2 acid.Institute of the Chemistry of Plant Substances, Academy of Sciences of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent.
