We discuss the consequence of local duality for elastic scattering, and derive a model-independent equation between structure functions at x~1 and elastic electromagnetic form factors. Then the electromagnetic form factors of proton are discussed using the quark-hadro.n duality theory. We also debate the form factor of proton in a bound state.It may be an effective approach to study the form factor of proton in media.  相似文献

We study the dipolar excitation of a trapped Bose-Fermi mixture at zero temperature, by using a scalingansatz formalism and Thomas-Fermi approximation at mean-field level. We show that both frequencies of the low-lying and high-lying modes are strongly affected by the Bose-Fermi interaction. Possible implication of our results to the recent experiment has been commented.  相似文献

We study hard photon production in a chemically equilibrating quark-gluon plasma at finite baryon density based on the Juttner distribution of partons of the system. We find that the photon yield is a strongly increasing function of the initial quark chemical potential.  相似文献

We study the geodesic motion of pseudo-classical spinning particles in the Kerr space-time and investigate the generalized Killing equations for spinning space. The constants of motion are derived from the solutions to these equations. We discuss the special cases of motion in a plane. Because of the angular momentum per unit mass, the spinning particles in Kerr space-time are different from those in Schwarzschild space-time.  相似文献

We investigate the stimulated Raman adiabatic passage for Bose-Einstein condensate (BEG) states which are trapped in different potential wells or two ground states of BEG in the same trap. We consider that lasers are nearly resonant with the atomic transitions. The difference of population transfer processes between BEG atoms and usual atoms is that the atomic interaction of the BEG atoms can cause some nonadiabatic effects, which may degrade the process. But with suitable detunings of laser pulses, the effects can be remedied to some extent according to different atomic interactions.  相似文献

We study a special two-atom entanglement case in assumed cavity QED experiment in which only one atom effectively exchanges a single photon with a cavity mode. We compute two-atom entanglement under position-dependent atomic resonant dipole-dipole interaction (RDDI) for large interatomic separation limit. We show that the RDDI, even t, hat which is much smaller than the maximal atomic Rabi frequency, can induce distinct diatom entanglement. The peak entanglement reaches a maximum when RDDI strength can compare with the Rabi frequency of an atom.  相似文献

We investigate phenomena of decline of complex networks by employing and analysing an illness model. Itsintr insic relation with the Fermi distribution is shown and a mapping to Fermi gas is established. The results of numerical simulations are obtained in two ways. We also compare the model with other models, including the dual relationship with the fitness model, and its difference from the Cayley tree model.  相似文献

We used the close-coupling optical (CCO) approach to investigate the open-shell carbon atom. The elastic cross sections have been presented at the energies below 90eV, and the present CCO results have been compared with other theoretical results. We found that polarization and the continuum states have significant contributions to the elastic cross sections. The present calculations show that the CCO method is capable of calculating electron scattering from open-shell atoms.  相似文献

We propose an experimental scheme of using the far-off resonance optical dipole force to control tunable collapse of Bose-Einstein condensation with attractive interactions. This scheme can conveniently alter collapse phenomena while keeping interatomic processes unchanged. Effects on the critical interaction strength and time delay are studied with numerical simulation. We show that for the blue-detuning case those two quantities are increased while for the red-detuning case they are decreased.  相似文献

We develop a five-well model for describing the tunnelling dynamics of Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs) trapped in 2D optical lattices. The tunnelling dynamics of BECs in this five-well model are investigated both analytically and numerically. We focus on the self-trapped states and the difference of the tunnelling dynamics among two- well, three-well and five-well systems. The criterions for the self-trapped states and the phase diagrams of the five trapped BECs in zero-phase mode and π-phase mode are obtained. We find that the criterions and the phase diagrams are largely modified by the dimension of the system and the phase difference 5etween wells. The five-well model is a good model and can give us an insight into the tunnelling dynamics of BECs trapped in 2D optical lattices.  相似文献

We present a similarity analysis for the Marangoni convection in a rectangular open boat. Furthermore, an efficient analytical decomposition and a numerical technique are provided. The approximately analytical solution may be represented in terms of a rapid convergent power series with elegantly computable terms. We calculate the two-pion correlation function for an expanding hadron source with a finite baryon density. The space-time evolution of the source is described by relativistic hydrodynamics and the Hanbury-Brown-Twiss (HBT) radius is extracted after effects of collective expansion and multiple scattering on the HBT interferometry have been taken into account, using quantum probability amplitudes in a path-integral formalism. We find that this radius is substantially smaller than the HBT radius extracted from the freeze-out configuration.  相似文献

We consider a one-dimensional array of L identical coupled cavities, and each cavity is doped with a two-level qubit. Experimentally, it has been developed in several varieties by the newest technology. We find that the one-qubit quantum state can be perfectly transferred through the cavity array, and the entanglement between the first two qubits can also be transferred to the last two qubits. In addition, we successfully realized the entangling gate and swap gate in the coupled cavity array.  相似文献

We discuss the unitary operator corresponding to the general two-mode coordinate-momentum mixed transformation(q2,p2)→(Aq1 Bq2,Cq1 Dp2),where A,B,C and Dare arbitrary real numbers,Suitably selecting the parameters A,B,Cand D,we obtain a new two-mode bosonic realization of the SU(1,1) Lie algebra.We also study the squeezing effects of the squeezed vacuum associated with the new two-mode bosonic realization of the SU(1,1) Lie algebra.The results show that the new squeezed vacuum does not possess second-order squeezing,but exhibits higher-order squeezing.  相似文献

We study medium modifications of the nucleon electromagnetic form factors in the vector meson dominance model. The in-medium vector meson masses are taken from a chiral SU(3) model. We find that the electric and magnetic form factors of the bound nucleon deviate considerably from those of the free nucleon. Our results are comparable to the results from the quark meson coupling model approach and are consistent with present experimental limits.  相似文献

Using Schroedinger-Maxwell formalism, we propose and analyse a cw four-wave mixing (FWM) scheme for the generation of coherent light in a five-level double-∧ atomic system based on electromagnetically induced transparency. We derive the corresponding explicit analytical expressions for the generated FWM field. The influence of hyperfine sublevel on the amplitude of the generated FWM field is predicted in detail. We also give a brief discussion on the experimental realization of the proposed scheme.  相似文献
