The space of continuous functions on the double arrow space has long been of interest in differentiability theory since many convex functions on this space are densely but not generically Gâteaux differentiable. Let K be a nonempty, closed and convex subset of a real reflexive Banach space E which has a uniformly Gâteaux differentiable norm. Assume that every nonempty closed convex and bounded subset of K has the fixed point property for nonexpansive mappings. Strong convergence theorems for approximation of a fixed point of Lipschitz pseudo-contractive mappings which is also a unique solution to variational inequality problem involving ?-strongly pseudo-contractive mappings are proved. The results presented in this article can be applied to the study of fixed points of nonexpansive mappings, variational inequality problems, convex optimization problems, and split feasibility problems. Our result extends many recent important results.  相似文献

The duality of two kinds of representations of convex sets is studied: the tangential representation of a convex body and the representations of its polar or negative polar by means of their weak* exposed points. The equivalence of the representations is proved and a condition for their validity is obtained for individual sets (the case of arbitrary locally convex space) and for classes of sets (the case of Gâteaux differentiability locally convex space). Properties of Gâteaux differentiability locally convex spaces are studied and some examples of such spaces are given.  相似文献

In this paper we establish the strong Fréchet differentiability of maps from the set of initial values and forcing terms into the set of solutions for semilinear second order evolution equations. Also, under the weaker conditions of nonlinear terms we establish the strong Gâteaux differentiability of the solution maps. The mathematical formulation and analysis of an optimal control problem associated with a viscous, incompressible, electrically conducting fluid in a bounded three-dimensional domain with fixed perfectly conducting boundaries is considered. The objective of control is the matching of the velocity and magnetic fields to given target fields; control is effected through distributed mechanical force and current controls. The existence of optimal solutions is shown, the Gâteaux differentiability for the magnetohydrodynamic system with respect to controls is proved, and the optimality system is obtained.  相似文献

Various definitions of directional derivatives in topological vector spaces are compared. Directional derivatives in the sense of Gâteaux, Fréchet, and Hadamard are singled out from the general framework of -directional differentiability. It is pointed out that, in the case of finite-dimensional spaces and locally Lipschitz mappings, all these concepts of directional differentiability are equivalent. The chain rule for directional derivatives of a composite mapping is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider an optimal control problem of microbial fermentation process in which glycerol is converted to 1,3-propanediol by Klebsiella pneumoniae in fed-batch culture. During the period of reaction, the variation of pH value is monitored to determine glycerol replenishment quantity, guaranteeing that microorganism can always keep growing fast under enough nutrition. Every time pH value is lower than seven, the quantity of glycerol added is such that pH value returns seven again. Glycerol is poured into reactor at discrete time instant and the quantity is controllable. The problem is to determine for each discrete time instant the glycerol quantity to add and maximize the final concentration of 1,3-propanediol. We present a controlled explicit nonlinear impulsive dynamical system of fed-batch culture with state independent vector measures as controls and study the existence, uniqueness, boundedness, continuous dependence and Gâteaux differentiability of its solution with respect to controls. We then propose a multiple objective programming model and demonstrate the regularity of cost functionals and weak compactness of admissible control set. Finally we discuss the existence of optimal control and implement a hybrid particle swarm optimization algorithm to solve the model optimally. Computational results are presented on a numerical example.  相似文献

We prove existence, uniqueness and Lipschitz dependence on the initial datum for mild solutions of stochastic partial differential equations with Lipschitz coefficients driven by Wiener and Poisson noise. Under additional assumptions, we prove Gâteaux and Fréchet differentiability of solutions with respect to the initial datum. As an application, we obtain gradient estimates for the resolvent associated to the mild solution. Finally, we prove the strong Feller property of the associated semigroup.  相似文献

We establish the existence and uniqueness of solutions for sine-Gordon equations in a multidimensional setting. The equations contain a point-like source. Furthermore, the continuity and the Gâteaux differentiability of the solution map is established. An identification problem for parameters governing the equations is set, and is shown to have a solution. The objective function is proved to be Fréchet differentiable with respect to the parameters. An expression for the Fréchet derivative in terms of the solutions of the direct and the adjoint systems is presented. A criterion for optimal parameters is formulated as a bang-bang control principle. An application of these results to the one-dimensional sine-Gordon equation is considered.  相似文献
