An ionic liquid 1-butylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate based carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) was used as the substrate electrode and a poly(methylene blue) (PMB) functionalized graphene (GR) composite film was co-electrodeposited on CILE surface by cyclic voltammetry. The PMB–GR/CILE exhibited better electrochemical performances with higher conductivity and lower electron transfer resistance. Electrochemical behavior of dopamine (DA) was further investigated by cyclic voltammetry and a pair of well-defined redox peaks appeared with the peak-to-peak separation (ΔEp) as 0.058 V in 0.1 mol L−1 pH 6.0 phosphate buffer solution, which proved a fast quasi-reversible electron transfer process on the modified electrode. Electrochemical parameters of DA on PMB–GR/CILE were calculated with the electron transfer number as 1.83, the charge transfer coefficients as 0.70, the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant as 1.72 s−1 and the diffusional coefficient (D) as 3.45 × 10−4 cm2 s−1, respectively. Under the optimal conditions with differential pulse voltammetric measurement, the linear relationship between the oxidation peak current of DA and its concentration was obtained in the range from 0.02 to 800.0 μmol L−1 with the detection limit as 5.6 nmol L−1 (3σ). The coexisting substances exhibited no interference and PMB–GR/CILE was applied to the detection of DA injection samples and human urine samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this paper a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) was fabricated by using ionic liquid 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate ([EMIM]EtOSO3) as modifier and further gold nanoparticles were in situ electrodeposited on the surface of CILE. The fabricated Au/CILE was used as a new platform for the immobilization of hemoglobin (Hb) with the help of a Nafion film. Electrochemical experimental results indicated that direct electron transfer of Hb was realized on the surface of Au/CILE with a pair of well-defined quasi-reversible redox peaks appeared. The formal peak potential (E0) was obtained as −0.210 V (vs. SCE) in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution (PBS), which was the characteristic of Hb heme Fe(III)/Fe(II) redox couple. The fabricated Nafion/Hb/Au/CILE showed excellent electrocatalytic activity to the reduction of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and the reduction peak current was in proportional to TCA concentration in the range from 0.2 to 18.0 mmol/L with the detection limit as 0.16 mmol/L (S/N = 3). The proposed electrode showed good stability and reproducibility, and it had the potential application as a new third-generation electrochemical biosensor.  相似文献

The electrochemical behaviors of guanosine on the ionic liquid of N-butylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate (BPPF6) modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) was studied in this paper and further used for guanosine detection. Guanosine showed an adsorption irreversible oxidation process on the carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) with the oxidation peak potential located at 1.12 V (vs. SCE) in a pH 4.5 Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffer solution. Compared with that on the traditional carbon paste electrode, small shift of the oxidation peak potentials appeared but with a great increment of the oxidation peak current on the CILE, which was due to the presence of ionic liquid in the modified electrode adsorbed the guanosine on the surface and promoted the electrochemical response. The electrochemical parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient (α), the electron transfer number (n), and the electrode reaction standard rate constant (ks) were calculated as 0.74, 1.9 and 1.26 × 10−4 s−1, respectively. Under the optimal conditions the oxidation peak current showed a good linear relationship with the guanosine concentration in the range from 1.0 × 10−6 to 1.0 × 10−4 mol/L by cyclic voltammetry with the detection limit of 2.61 × 10−7 mol/L (3σ). The common coexisting substances showed no interferences to the guanosine oxidation. The CILE showed good ability to distinguish the electrochemical response of guanosine and guanine in the mixture solution. The urine samples were further detected by the proposed method with satisfactory results.  相似文献

This work proposes a spectrophotometric method for the determination of hydrogen peroxide during photodegradation reactions. The method is based on the reaction of H2O2 with amonium metavanadate in acidic medium, which results in the formation of a red-orange color peroxovanadium cation, with maximum absorbance at 450 nm. The method was optimized using the multivariate analysis providing the minimum concentration of vanadate (6.2 mmol L−1) for the maximum absorbance signal. Under these conditions, the detection limit is 143 μmol L−1. The reaction product showed to be very stable for samples of peroxide concentrations up to 3 mmol L−1 at room temperature during 180 h. For higher concentrations however, samples must be kept refrigerated (4 °C) or diluted. The method showed no interference of Cl (0.2-1.3 mmol L−1), NO3 (0.3-1.0 mmol L−1), Fe3+ (0.2-1.2 mmol L−1) and 2,4-dichlorophenol (DCP) (0.2-1.0 mmol L−1). When compared to iodometric titration, the vanadate method showed a good agreament. The method was applied for the evaluation of peroxide consumption during photo-Fenton degradation of 2,4-dichlorophenol using blacklight irradiation.  相似文献

A novel disposable third-generation hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) biosensor based on horseradish peroxidase (HRP) immobilized on the gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) electrodeposited indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode is investigated. The AuNPs deposited on ITO electrode were characterized by UV-vis, SEM, and electrochemical methods. The AuNPs attached on the ITO electrode surface with quasi-spherical shape and the average size of diameters was about 25 nm with a quite symmetric distribution. The direct electron chemistry of HRP was realized, and the biosensor exhibited excellent performances for the reduction of H2O2. The amperometric response to H2O2 shows a linear relation in the range from 8.0 μmol L−1 to 3.0 mmol L−1 and a detection limit of 2 μmol L−1 (S/N = 3). The value of HRP immobilized on the electrode surface was found to be 0.4 mmol L−1. The biosensor indicates excellent reproducibility, high selectivity and long-term stability.  相似文献

A graphene, chitosan and Fe3O4 nanoparticles (nano-Fe3O4) modified glassy carbon electrode (graphene-chitosan/nano-Fe3O4/GCE) was fabricated. The modified electrode was characterized by scanning electron microscope and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The electrochemical oxidation behavior of guanosine was investigated in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution by cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry. The experimental results indicated that the modified electrode exhibited an electrocatalytic and adsorptive activities towards the oxidation of guanosine. The transfer electron number (n), transfer proton number (m) and electrochemically effective surface area (A) were calculated. Under the optimized conditions, the oxidation peak current was proportional to guanosine concentration in the range of 2.0 × 10−6 to 3.5 × 10−4 mol L−1 with the correlation coefficient of 0.9939 and the detection limit of 7.5 × 10−7 mol L−1 (S/N = 3). Moreover, the modified electrode showed good ability to discriminate the electrochemical oxidation response of guanosine, guanine and adenosine. The proposed method was further applied to determine guanosine in spiked urine samples and traditional Chinese medicines with satisfactory results.  相似文献

Direct electrochemistry of hemoglobin (Hb) was realized on a Nafion and CuS microsphere composite film modified carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) with N-butylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate (BPPF6) as binder. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry were used to characterize the fabricated Nafion/CuS/Hb/CILE. Experimental results showed that a pair of well-defined quasi-reversible redox peaks appeared with the formal potential as ?0.386 V (vs. SCE) in pH 7.0 Britton-Robinson (B-R) buffer solution, which was attributed to the Hb heme Fe(III)/Fe(II) redox couples. The electrochemical parameters of Hb in the composite film were carefully investigated with the charge transfer coefficient (α), the electron transfer number (n) and the electron transfer rate constant (k s) as 0.505, 1.196 and 0.610 s?1, respectively. The composite film provided a favorable microenvironment for retaining the native structure of Hb. The presence of CuS microspheres showed great improvement on the electron transfer rate of Hb with the CILE, which maybe due to the contribution of specific characteristics of CuS microspheres and the inherent advantages of ionic liquid on the modified electrode. The fabricated Hb modified electrode showed good electrocatalytic ability in the reduction of H2O2. The proposed bioelectrode can be used as a new third generation H2O2 biosensor.  相似文献

ZnO nanoparticles (nanoZnO) were decorated on multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and then the prepared nano-hybrids, nanoZnO-MWCNTs, were immobilized on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) to fabricate nanoZnO-MWCNTs modified GCE. The prepared electrode, GCE/nanoZnO-MWCNTs, showed excellent electrocatalytic activity towards luminol electrochemiluminescence (ECL) reaction. The electrode was then further modified with lactate oxidase and Nafion to fabricate a highly sensitive ECL lactate biosensor. Two linear dynamic ranges of 0.01-10 μmol L−1 and 10-200 μmol L−1 were obtained for lactate with the correlation coefficient better than 0.9996. The detection limit (S/N = 3) was 4 nmol L−1 lactate. The relative standard deviation for repetitive measurements (n = 6) of 10 μmol L−1 lactate was 1.5%. The fabrication reproducibility for five biosensors prepared and used in different days was 7.4%. The proposed ECL lactate biosensor was used for determination of lactate in human blood plasma samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

In this article we report on the fabrication of a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) by using a room temperature ionic liquid of 1‐butyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate (BMIMPF6) as binder. It was further modified by single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) to get a SWCNTs modified CILE denoted as SWCNTs/CILE. The redox protein of hemoglobin (Hb) was further immobilized on the surface of SWCNTs/CILE with the help of Nafion film. UV‐vis and FT‐IR spectra indicated that the immobilized Hb retained its native conformation in the composite film. The direct electrochemistry of Hb on the SWCNTs/CILE was carefully studied in pH 7.0 phosphate buffer solution (PBS). Cyclic voltammetric results indicated that a pair of well‐defined and quasireversible voltammetric peaks of Hb heme Fe(III)/Fe(II) was obtained with the formal potential (E°') at ?0.306 V (vs. SCE). The electrochemical parameters such as the electron transfer coefficient (α), the electron transfer number (n) and the apparent heterogeneous electron transfer rate constant (ks) were calculated as 0.34, 0.989 and 0.538 s?1, respectively. The fabricated Hb modified electrode showed good electrocatalytic ability to the reduction of trichloroacetic acid (TCA) in the concentration range from 20.0 to 150.0 mmol/L with the detection limit of 10.0 mmol/L (3σ).  相似文献

Electrochemical behavior and electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) of tris(2,2′-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru(bpy)32+) immobilized in poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/poly(styrenesulfonate)-poly(vinyl alcohol) (PEDOT/PSS-PVA) composite films via ion-exchange have been investigated with tripropylamine (TPA) as the co-reactant at a glassy carbon electrode. The immobilized Ru(bpy)32+ performed a surface-controlled electrode reaction. The Ru(bpy)32+ modified electrode showed a fast ECL response to TPA, and was used for the ECL detection of TPA with high sensitivity. The ECL intensity was linearly related to concentrations of TPA over the range from 0.50 μmol L−1 to 0.80 mmol L−1, and the detection limit was 0.10 μmol L−1 (S/N = 3). The as-prepared electrode exhibited good precision and long-term stability for TPA determination.  相似文献

A novel biosensor for determination of d-amino acids (DAAs) in biological samples by using an electrode based on immobilization of a thermostable d-Proline dehydrogenase (d-Pro DH) within an agar gel membrane was developed. The electrode was simply prepared by spin-coating the agar solution with the d-Pro DH on a glassy carbon (GC) electrode. An electrocatalytic oxidation current of 2,6-dichloroindophenol (DCIP) was observed at −100 mV vs. Ag/AgCl with the addition of 5 and 20 mmol L−1d-proline. The current response and its relative standard deviation were 0.15 μA and 7.6% (n = 3), respectively, when it was measured in a pH 8.0 phosphate buffer solution containing 10 mmol L−1d-proline and 0.5 mmol L−1 DCIP at 50 °C. The current response of d-proline increased with increase of the temperature of the sample solution up to 70 °C. The electrocatalytic response at the d-Pro DH/agar immobilized electrode subsequently maintained for 80 days. Finally, the d-Pro DH/agar immobilized electrode was applied to determination of DAAs in a human urine sample. The determined value of DAAs in the human urine and its R.S.D. were 1.39 ± 0.12 mmol L−1 and 8.9% (n = 3), respectively.  相似文献

Films of non-stoichiometric tungsten oxides have been deposited onto glassy carbon surfaces by electrodeposition from acidic W(VI) solutions and the chemical stability of these oxides was investigated by using the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance. At these modified surfaces, rotating disc electrode voltammetric experiments indicated that iodate is electrocatalytically reduced in a mass-transport controlled process. The influence of the film thickness on the response to iodate was investigated and the results indicated a linear relationship between catalytic current and film thickness for relatively thin oxide layers. The modified electrode was employed successfully as an amperometric sensor for iodate in a flow injection apparatus. The linear response of the developed method is extended from 5 μmol L−1 to 5 mmol L−1 iodate with a limit of detection (signal-to-noise = 3) of 1.2 μmol L−1. The repeatability of the method for 41 injections of a 1 mmol L−1 iodate solution was 0.8% and the throughput was determined as 123 h−1. Interference from other oxidant anions such as nitrate and nitrite was not noticeable, whereas bromate and chlorate interfere at slight levels. The method was used in the determination of the iodate content in table salt samples.  相似文献

A novel long drop time mercury electrode has been constructed from common fused-silica capillary (50 μm I.D., 360 μm E.D.). Proposed device provides reproducible mercury drops with typical lifetime 40-120 s. The electrode was used for a set of electrocapillary measurements aimed at determination of critical micelle concentration of anionic surfactants by a convection controlled drop-time technique. A critical micelle concentration of sodium dodecyl sulfate 5.6 ± 0.4 mmol L−1 and 4.3 ± 0.4 mmol L−1 were obtained in 1 mmol L−1 and 5 mmol L−1 phosphate buffer (pH 7.0), respectively. The values were comparable to those obtained from conductometric measurements under the same conditions (7.0 ± 0.1 mmol L−1 and 5.2 ± 0.1 mmol L−1, respectively) and the difference was explained in accordance with theory of hemi-micelle formation.  相似文献

The development of a simple, efficient and sensitive sensor for dissolved oxygen is proposed using the host-guest binding of a supramolecular complex at a host surface by combining a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of mono-(6-deoxy-6-mercapto)-β-cyclodextrin (βCDSH), iron (III) tetra-(N-methyl-4-pyridyl)-porphyrin (FeTMPyP) and cyclodextrin-functionalized gold nanoparticles (CDAuNP). The supramolecular modified electrode showed excellent catalytic activity for oxygen reduction. The reduction potential of oxygen was shifted about 200 mV toward less negative values with this modified electrode, presenting a peak current much higher than those observed on a bare gold electrode. Cyclic voltammetry and rotating disk electrode (RDE) experiments indicated that the oxygen reduction reaction involves probably 4-electrons with a rate constant (kobs) of 7 × 104 mol−1 L s−1. A linear response range from 0.2 up to 6.5 mg L−1, with a sensitivity of 5.5 μA L mg−1 (or 77.5 μA cm−2 L mg−1) and a detection limit of 0.02 mg L−1 was obtained with this sensor. The repeatability of the proposed sensor, evaluated in terms of relative standard deviation was 3.0% for 10 measurements of a solution of 6.5 mg L−1 oxygen.  相似文献

A new resonance light scattering (RLS) spectrometric method for mercury ions (Hg2+) in aqueous solutions with sulfur ion (S2−) modified gold nanoparticles (Au-NPs-S) has been developed in this contribution. It was found that S2− at the surface of Au-NPs resulting from the surface modification can interact with Hg2+ to form very stable S-Hg-S bonds when Hg2+ concentration is lower than that of S2−, resulting in the aggregation of Au-NPs-S and causing enhanced RLS signals. The enhanced RLS intensities (ΔIRLS) characterized at 392 nm were found to be proportional to the concentration of Hg2+ in the range of 0.025-0.25 μmol L−1 with a detection limit (3σ) of 0.013 μmol L−1. Our results showed that this approach has excellent selectivity for Hg2+ over other substances in aqueous solutions.  相似文献

This paper presents a material that has both hydrophilic and hydrophobic domains, obtained by combination of a polyampholyte with a surfactant. This material was fully characterized by different spectroscopic techniques and microscopy.Bisphenol-A (BPA) was chosen as a model molecule to study the interaction with compounds of intermediate polarity. We explored the kinetics and equilibrium of BPA on the surface of the polyampholyte-surfactant complex and found a significantly high loading capacity (2.02 mmol g−1) and complete binding from solutions at concentration levels below 100 μmol L−1.The complex was encapsulated in agarose gel to be used as solid phase for extraction of BPA from food simulants in contact with polycarbonate bottles under different treatments. Bisphenol was preconcentrated, extracted and analysed by liquid chromatography with an amperometric detector. The instrumental detection limit of the technique was 10 μg L−1, which was lowered to 0.14 μg L−1 by the preconcentration step. The BPA released from baby bottles was 2.1 ng cm−2 (σn − 1: 0.1) in the first use with distilled water.  相似文献

This work describes the in situ immobilization of Mn(II) phthalocyanine (MnPc) in a porous SiO2/SnO2 mixed oxide matrix obtained by the sol gel processing method. The chemically modified matrix SiO2/SnO2/MnPc, possessing an estimated amount of 8 × 10−10 mol cm−2 of MnPc on the surface, was used to prepare an electrode to analyze dissolved oxygen in water by an electrochemical technique. The electrode was prepared by mixing the material with ultrapure graphite and evaluated using differential pulse voltammetry. Dissolved O2 was reduced at −0.31 V with a limit of detection (LOD) equal to 7.0 × 10−4 mmol L−1. A mechanism involving four electrons in O2 reduction was determined by the rotating disk electrode technique.  相似文献

Graphene nanosheets, dispersed in Nafion (Nafion-G) solution, were used in combination with in situ plated bismuth film electrode for fabricating the enhanced electrochemical sensing platform to determine the lead (Pb2+) and cadmium (Cd2+) by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV). The electrochemical properties of the composite film modified glassy carbon electrode were investigated. It is found that the prepared Nafion-G composite film not only exhibited improved sensitivity for the metal ion detections, but also alleviated the interferences due to the synergistic effect of graphene nanosheets and Nafion. The linear calibration curves ranged from 0.5 μg L−1 to 50 μg L−1 for Pb2+ and 1.5 μg L−1 to 30 μg L−1 for Cd2+, respectively. The detection limits (S/N = 3) were estimated to be around 0.02 μg L−1 for Pb2+ and Cd2+. The practical application of the proposed method was verified in the water sample determination.  相似文献

In this paper, a carbon ionic liquid electrode (CILE) was fabricated using ionic liquid 1-hexylpyridinium hexafluorophosphate as modifier, which was further in situ electrodeposited with graphene (GR) and gold nanoparticles step by step to get an Au/GR nanocomposite modified CILE. Myoglobin (Mb) was further immobilized on the Au/GR/CILE surface with Nafion film to get the modified electrode denoted as Nafion/Mb/Au/GR/CILE. Cyclic voltammetric experiments indicated that a pair of well-defined quasi-reversible redox peaks appeared in pH 3.0 phosphate buffer solution with the formal potential (E 0′) located at ?0.197 V (vs. saturated calomel electrode), which was the typical characteristics of Mb heme Fe(III)/Fe(II) redox couples. Thus, the direct electron transfer rate between Mb and the modified electrode was promoted due to the high conductivity and increased surface area of Au/GR nanocomposite present on electrode surface. Based on the cyclic voltammetric data, the electrochemical parameters of Mb on the modified electrode were calculated. The Mb-modified electrode showed excellent electrocatalytic activities towards the reduction of trichloroacetic acid and H2O2 with wider linear range and lower detection limit. Using GR and Au nanoparticles modified CILE, a new third-generation electrochemical Mb biosensor was constructed with good stability and reproducibility.  相似文献

A carbon-paste electrode modified with 2,7-bis(ferrocenyl ethyl)fluoren-9-one (2,7-BF) and carbon nanotubes (CNTs) was used for the sensitive and selective voltammetric determination of N-acetylcysteine (NAC). The mediated oxidation of NAC at the modified electrode was investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Also, the values of catalytic rate constant (k), and diffusion coefficient (D) for NAC were calculated. Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) of NAC at the modified electrode exhibited two linear dynamic ranges with a detection limit (3σ) of 52.0 nmol L−1. DPV was used for simultaneous determination of NAC and acetaminophen (AC) at the modified electrode, and quantitation of NAC and AC in some real samples by the standard addition method.  相似文献
