The present paper deals with Tricomi and Frankl problems for generalized Chaplygin equations in multiply connected domains. We first give the representation of solutions of the Tricomi problem for the equations, and then prove the uniqueness and existence of solutions for the problem by a new method, i.e. the complex functions in the elliptic domain and the hyperbolic complex functions in hyperbolic domain are used. Finally we discuss the Frankl problem for generalized Chaplygin equations in multiply connected domains.  相似文献

According to Muskhelishvili’s approach, two-dimensional elastic problems for media with non-overlapping inclusions are reduced to boundary value problems for analytic functions in multiply connected domains. Using a method of functional equations developed by Mityushev, we reduce such a problem for a circular multiply connected domain to functional-differential equations. It is proved that the operator corresponding to the functional-differential equations is compact in the Hardy–Sobolev space. Moreover, these equations can be solved by the method of successive approximation under some natural conditions.  相似文献

We propose a domain embedding method to solve second order elliptic problems in arbitrary two-dimensional domains. The method is based on formulating the problem as an optimal distributed control problem inside a disc in which the arbitrary domain is embedded. The optimal distributed control problem inside the disc is solved rapidly using a fast algorithm developed by Daripa et al. [3,7,10–12]. The arbitrary domains can be simply or multiply connected and the proposed method can be applied, in principle, to a large number of elliptic problems. Numerical results obtained for Dirichlet problems associated with the Poisson equation in simply and multiply connected domains are presented. The computed solutions are found to be in good agreement with the exact solutions with moderate number of grid points in the domain.  相似文献

This paper derives general analytical formulae for the conformal maps from multiply connected circular preimage domains to multiply connected quadrature domains by considering the Bergman kernel functions of the preimage and target domains. The new formulae are expressed in terms of the Schottky–Klein prime function. They generalize, to the case of arbitrary connectivity, a formula relevant to doubly connected domains derived by Y. This paper deals with some initial-oblique derivative boundary value problems for nonlinear nondivergent parabolic systems of several second order equations with measurable coefficients in multiply connected domains. The recently suggested embedding method to solve linear boundary value problems is here extended to cover situations where the domain of interest is unbounded or multiply connected. The extensions involve the use of complete sets of exterior and interior eigenfunctions on canonical domains. Unlike the familiar problems for mixed-type equations, we pose a boundary value problem for the Lavrent'ev–Bitsadze equation in domains with unbounded multiply connected hyperbolicity subdomains. We continue our exposition concerning the Carathéodory topology for multiply connected domains which we began in [Comerford M., The Carathéodory topology for multiply connected domains I, Cent. Eur. J. Math., 2013, 11(2), 322–340] by introducing the notion of boundedness for a family of pointed domains of the same connectivity. The limit of a convergent sequence of n-connected domains which is bounded in this sense is again n-connected and will satisfy the same bounds. We prove a result which establishes several equivalent conditions for boundedness. This allows us to extend the notions of convergence and equicontinuity to families of functions defined on varying domains.  相似文献

We propose a method for the solution of connected two-dimensional and plane problems of electromagnetoelasticity for multiply connected domains. Basic relations of two-dimensional and plane problems are obtained. Generalized complex potentials of electromagnetoelasticity are introduced and investigated. Boundary conditions for their determination and, using them, expressions of main characteristics of the electromagnetoelastic state (stresses, displacements, electromagnetic field intensity vectors, induction vectors, potentials of the electric and magnetic fields) are obtained. We present a solution of the problem for a plate with an elliptic hole or a crack.  相似文献

This article concerns the inverse problem for linear elliptic systems of first-order equations with Riemann–Hilbert-type map in multiply connected domains. First the formulation and the complex form of the problem for the systems are given, and then the coefficients of the elliptic complex equations for the above problem are constructed by a complex analytic method, where the advantage of the methods in other papers is absorbed, and the used method in this article is more simple and the obtained result is more general. As an application of the above results, we can derive the corresponding results of the inverse problem for second-order elliptic equations from Dirichlet to Neumann map in multiply connected domains.  相似文献

We study the $ \mathbb{R} $ -linear conjugation problem for multiply connected domains by the method of integral equations. The method differs from the classical method of potentials. It is related to the generalized alternating method of Schwarz, which is based on the decomposition of the considered domain with complex geometry into simple domains and subsequent solution to boundary value problems for simple domains. Analytical formulae for the first-type Green's function forLaplace's equation in multiply connected circular domains arepresented. The method is constructive and relies on the useof a special function known as the Schottky–Klein primefunction associated with multiply connected circular domains.It is shown that all the important functions of potential theory,including the first-type Green's function, the modified Green'sfunctions and the harmonic measures of a domain, can be writtenin terms of this prime function. A broad range of representativeexamples are given to demonstrate the efficacy of the methodas well as a quantitative comparison, in special cases, withthe results obtained using other independent methods.  相似文献
