For the classical nonlinear program, two new relaxations of the Mangasarian–Fromovitz constraint qualification are discussed and their relationship with some standard constraint qualifications is examined. In particular, we establish the equivalence of one of these constraint qualifications with the recently suggested by Andreani et al. Constant rank of the subspace component constraint qualification. As an application, we make use of this new constraint qualification in the local analysis of the solution map to a parameterized equilibrium problem, modeled by a generalized equation.  相似文献

Three constraint qualifications (the weak generalized Robinson constraint qualification, the bounded constraint qualification, and the generalized Abadie constraint qualification), which are weaker than the generalized Robinson constraint qualification (GRCQ) given by Yen (1997) [1], are introduced for constrained Lipschitz optimization problems. Relationships between those constraint qualifications and the calmness of the solution mapping are investigated. It is demonstrated that the weak generalized Robinson constraint qualification and the bounded constraint qualification are easily verifiable sufficient conditions for the calmness of the solution mapping, whereas the proposed generalized Abadie constraint qualification, described in terms of graphical derivatives in variational analysis, is weaker than the calmness of the solution mapping. Finally, those constraint qualifications are written for a mathematical program with complementarity constraints (MPCC), and new constraint qualifications ensuring the C-stationary point condition of a MPCC are obtained.  相似文献

In Andreani et al. (Weak notions of nondegeneracy in nonlinear semidefinite programming, 2020), the classical notion of nondegeneracy (or transversality) and Robinson’s constraint qualification have been revisited in the context of nonlinear semidefinite programming exploiting the structure of the problem, namely its eigendecomposition. This allows formulating the conditions equivalently in terms of (positive) linear independence of significantly smaller sets of vectors. In this paper, we extend these ideas to the context of nonlinear second-order cone programming. For instance, for an m-dimensional second-order cone, instead of stating nondegeneracy at the vertex as the linear independence of m derivative vectors, we do it in terms of several statements of linear independence of 2 derivative vectors. This allows embedding the structure of the second-order cone into the formulation of nondegeneracy and, by extension, Robinson’s constraint qualification as well. This point of view is shown to be crucial in defining significantly weaker constraint qualifications such as the constant rank constraint qualification and the constant positive linear dependence condition. Also, these conditions are shown to be sufficient for guaranteeing global convergence of several algorithms, while still implying metric subregularity and without requiring boundedness of the set of Lagrange multipliers.

In this paper a Basic Constraint Qualification is introduced for a nonconvex infinite-dimensional vector optimization problem extending the usual one from convex programming assuming the Hadamard differentiability of the maps. Corresponding KKT conditions are established by considering a decoupling of the constraint cone into half-spaces. This extension leads to generalized KKT conditions which are finer than the usual abstract multiplier rule. A second constraint qualification expressed directly in terms of the data is also introduced, which allows us to compute the contingent cone to the feasible set and, as a consequence, it is proven that this condition is a particular case of the first one. Relationship with other constraint qualifications in infinite-dimensional vector optimization, specially with the Kurcyuscz-Robinson-Zowe constraint qualification, are also given.  相似文献

We study a general multiobjective optimization problem with variational inequality, equality, inequality and abstract constraints. Fritz John type necessary optimality conditions involving Mordukhovich coderivatives are derived. They lead to Kuhn-Tucker type necessary optimality conditions under additional constraint qualifications including the calmness condition, the error bound constraint qualification, the no nonzero abnormal multiplier constraint qualification, the generalized Mangasarian-Fromovitz constraint qualification, the strong regularity constraint qualification and the linear constraint qualification. We then apply these results to the multiobjective optimization problem with complementarity constraints and the multiobjective bilevel programming problem. Some versions of constraint qualifications in the semidifferentiable case are considered for a multiobjective optimization problem with inequality constraints. A Maeda-type constraint qualification is given and Kuhn–Tucker-type necessary conditions for efficiency are obtained. In addition, some conditions that ensure the Maeda-type constraint qualification are stated.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with a nonsmooth multiobjective optimization problem with inequality constraints. We introduce a second-order constraint qualification, which is a generalization of the Abadie constraint qualification and derive second-order Kuhn-Tucker type necessary conditions for efficiency under the constraint qualification. Moreover, we give some conditions which ensure the constraint qualification holds.  相似文献

In this article, we introduce two versions of nonsmooth extension of Abadie constraint qualification in terms of convexifactors and Clarke subdifferential and employ the weaker one to develop new necessary Karush–Kuhn–Tucker type optimality conditions for optimistic bilevel programming problem with convex lower-level problem, using an upper estimate of Clarke subdifferential of value function in variational analysis and the concept of convexifactor.  相似文献

In this paper, we study several types of basic constraint qualifications in terms of Clarke/Fréchet coderivatives for generalized equations. Several necessary and/or sufficient conditions are given to ensure these constraint qualifications. It is proved that basic constraint qualification and strong basic constraint qualification for convex generalized equations can be obtained by these constraint qualifications, and the existing results on constraint qualifications for the inequality system can be deduced from the given conditions in this paper. The main work of this paper is an extension of the study on constraint qualifications from inequality systems to generalized equations.  相似文献

This is Part I of a two-part paper; the purpose of this two-part paper is (a) to develop new concepts and techniques in the theory of infinite-dimensional programming, and (b) to obtain fruitful applications in continuous time programming. Part I deals with the development of continuous time analogues to those concepts which are the cornerstones of finite-dimensional programming theory. Specifically, a constraint qualification analogous to that found in finite-dimensional programming and a continuous time version of Farkas' theorem are developed. The latter result, stated in terms of convex and polar cones, is then employed in conjunction with the newly-developed constraint qualification to establish necessary conditions and a duality theory for a class of nonlinear continuous time programming problems. This approach to duality permits the imposition of assumptions that are less stringent than those needed for duality in previous formulations of the nonlinear problem.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In this paper, we derive some optimality and stationarity conditions for a multiobjective problem with equilibrium constraints (MOPEC). In particular, under a generalized Guignard constraint qualification, we show that any locally Pareto optimal solution of MOPEC must satisfy the strong Pareto Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions. We also prove that the generalized Guignard constraint qualification is the weakest constraint qualification for the strong Pareto Kuhn-Tucker optimality. Furthermore, under certain convexity or generalized convexity assumptions, we show that the strong Pareto Kuhn-Tucker optimality conditions are also sufficient for several popular locally Pareto-type optimality conditions for MOPEC.  相似文献

First-order necessary conditions of the Kuhn-Tucker type and strong duality are established for a general class of continuous time programming problems. To obtain these results a generalized Farkas' Theorem, stated in terms of convex and dual cones, is implemented in conjunction with a constraint qualification analogous to that found in finite-dimensional programming. The assumptions imposed are weaker than those needed in previous approaches to duality for this type of problem.  相似文献

In this paper we consider a nonsmooth optimization problem with equality, inequality and set constraints. We propose new constraint qualifications and Kuhn–Tucker type necessary optimality conditions for this problem involving locally Lipschitz functions. The main tool of our approach is the notion of convexificators. We introduce a nonsmooth version of the Mangasarian–Fromovitz constraint qualification and show that this constraint qualification is necessary and sufficient for the Kuhn–Tucker multipliers set to be nonempty and bounded.  相似文献

Constraint qualifications in terms of approximate Jacobians are investigated for a nonsmooth constrained optimization problem, in which the involved functions are continuous but not necessarily locally Lipschitz. New constraint qualifications in terms of approximate Jacobians, weaker than the generalized Robinson constraint qualification (GRCQ) in Jeyakumar and Yen [V. Jeyakumar, N.D. Yen, Solution stability of nonsmooth continuous systems with applications to cone-constrained optimization, SIAM J. Optim. 14 5 (2004) 1106-1127], are introduced and some examples are provided to show the utility of constrained qualifications introduced. Since the calmness condition is regarded as the basic condition for optimality conditions, the relationships between the constraint qualifications proposed and the calmness of solution mapping are also studied.  相似文献

The Kuhn-Tucker type necessary conditions of weak efficiency are given for the problem of minimizing a vector function whose each component is the sum of a differentiable function and a convex function, subject to a set of differentiable nonlinear inequalities on a convex subset C of ℝ n , under the conditions similar to the Abadie constraint qualification, or the Kuhn-Tucker constraint qualification, or the Arrow-Hurwicz-Uzawa constraint qualification. An approach to the numerical solution of optimization problems with equality constraints violating the traditional constraint qualification is developed. According to this approach, an (overdetermined) defining system is constructed based on the Fritz John optimality conditions and the Gauss-Newton method is applied to this system. The assumptions required for the implementability and local superlinear convergence of the resulting algorithm are completely characterized in terms of the original problem.  相似文献

We introduce three new constraint qualifications for nonlinear second order cone programming problems that we call constant rank constraint qualification, relaxed constant rank constraint qualification and constant rank of the subspace component condition. Our development is inspired by the corresponding constraint qualifications for nonlinear programming problems. We provide proofs and examples that show the relations of the three new constraint qualifications with other known constraint qualifications. In particular, the new constraint qualifications neither imply nor are implied by Robinson’s constraint qualification, but they are stronger than Abadie’s constraint qualification. First order necessary optimality conditions are shown to hold under the three new constraint qualifications, whereas the second order necessary conditions hold for two of them, the constant rank constraint qualification and the relaxed constant rank constraint qualification.
