用一个以Fortran语言编制的S=1/2体系的EPR模拟谱程序.并引入了弛豫项,图谱线型得到了改善,使模拟谱与实验谱更为接近;对超超精细分裂的考虑,使该程序可适合于复杂图谱的模拟;求积分方法的近似处理,缩短了模拟谱的耗时,使复杂图谱的模拟在微机上成为现实.  相似文献

本文设计和研制了一款新型X波段多功能电子顺磁共振(electron paramagnetic resonance,EPR)谱仪,并为其开发一款新的控制和读出系统(control and readout system,CRS)来操控微波脉冲的产生和信号的采集,提高了系统的集成度和可扩展性. 该谱仪可实现常规的连续波EPR(continuous-wave EPR,cw-EPR)、脉冲EPR(pulsed EPR)和瞬态EPR(transient EPR,trEPR)实验,并装配了6~300 K的无液氦变温装置,以及兼具平行模式与垂直模式的新型双模连续波谐振腔和用于脉冲EPR及trEPR的介质腔. 针对新型EPR谱仪和新谐振腔,本文利用双模连续波、脉冲和瞬态三个不同方式的EPR实验,对其功能进行了验证.  相似文献

A simple effective method for calculation of EPR spectra from a single truncated dynamical trajectory of spin probe orientations is reported. It is shown that an accurate simulation can be achieved from the small initial fraction of a dynamical trajectory until the point when the autocorrelation function of re-orientational motion of spin label has relaxed. This substantially reduces the amount of time for spectra simulation compared to previous approaches, which require multiple full length trajectories (normally of several microseconds) to achieve the desired resolution of EPR spectra. Our method is applicable to trajectories generated from both Brownian dynamics and molecular dynamics (MD) calculations. Simulations of EPR spectra from Brownian dynamical trajectories under a variety of motional conditions including bi-modal dynamics with different hopping rates between the modes are compared to those performed by conventional method. Since the relatively short timescales of spin label motions are realistically accessible by modern MD computational methods, our approach, for the first time, opens the prospect of the simulation of EPR spectra entirely from MD trajectories of real proteins structures.  相似文献

A novel EPR stopped-flow accessory is described which allows time-dependent cw-EPR measurements of rate constants of reactions involving paramagnetic species after rapid mixing of two liquid reagents. The EPR stopped-flow design represents a state-of-the-art, computer controlled fluid driving system, a miniresonant EPR structure with an integrated small ball mixer, and a stopping valve. The X-band EPR detection system is an improved version of that reported by Sienkiewicz et al. [Rev. Sci. Instr. 65 (1994) 68], and utilizes a resonator with two stacked ceramic dielectric rings separated by a variable spacer. The resonator with the mode TE(H)011 is tailored particularly for conditions of fast flowing and rapidly stopped aqueous solutions, and for a high time resolution. The short distance between the ball mixer and the small EPR active volume (1.8 microl) yields a measured dead time of 330 micros. A compact assembly of all parts results in minimization of disturbing microphonics. The computer controlled driving system from BioLogic with two independent stepping motors was optimized for EPR stopped-flow with a hard-stop valve. Performance tests on the EPR spectrometer ESP 300E from BRUKER using redox reactions of nitroxide radicals revealed the EPR stopped-flow accessory as an advanced, versatile, and reliable instrument with high reproducibility.  相似文献

A novel X-band CW EPR imaging has been developed using magnetic-field-gradient (MFG) spinning to obtain spatial distributions of electron paramagnetic species. Spinning MFG EPR imaging for 65 projection spectra required just 55 s while conventional imaging took 11 min 40 s, that is, the acquisition time for the new system is one order of magnitude shorter than that for conventional EPR imaging. Spinning MFG EPR imaging allows one to measure reconstructed images in an interactive manner where resolution and condition can be changed quickly.  相似文献

Samples of single-crystal silicon implanted with iron-group ions are investigated by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR). The change in relative permittivity μr of the silicon layer modified by implanted nickel ions is found. The accumulation kinetics of paramagnetic centers of amorphous regions of silicon implanted with Co, Ni, and Fe are shown to be different. A simple new approach for independent calibration of solid state/EPR (SS/EPR) dosimetry system is reported. It is based on the fact that: (i) gamma-irradiation of solid sucrose (sugar) induces stable EPR detectable free radicals accompanied by UV detectable brown colour stable in the solid state and in solution; (ii) both the EPR intensity of gamma-irradiated solid sucrose and its solution UV absorbance linearly depend on the absorbed dose high energy radiation and may be independently used for dosimetric purpose; (iii) UV spectrometers are calibrated. The correlation between EPR response and absorbed dose radiation of solid sucrose and UV absorption of its solutions is used in the present communication for calibration purpose. The procedure of sucrose extraction from sucrose-paraffin dosimeters is described. The calibration procedure may be applied to any other (alanine, self-calibrated, etc.) SS/EPR dosimeters, simultaneously irradiated with sucrose.  相似文献

The use of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen (EPR) correlated microparticles for telecommunication purposes is considered from a new point of view. In spite of the fact that the usual nonlocality of EPR pairs is not controllable, the use of irreversible quantum systems opens new possibilities. A concrete scheme for a controllable correlated quantum system is considered. It might be used for non-wave-type communication over not very large distances.  相似文献

A giant concentration of nitrogen vacancy defects has been revealed by the electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) method in a detonation nanodiamond sintered at high pressure and temperature. A high coherence of the electron spins at room temperature has been observed and the angular dependences of the EPR spectra indicate the complete orientation of the diamond system.  相似文献

This article reports experimental investigations on the use of RF resonators for continuous-wave electron paramagnetic resonance (cw-EPR) and proton nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) imaging. We developed a composite resonator system with multi-coil parallel-gap resonators for co-registration EPR/NMR imaging. The resonance frequencies of each resonator were 21.8MHz for NMR and 670MHz for EPR. A smaller resonator (22mm in diameter) for use in EPR was placed coaxially in a larger resonator (40mm in diameter) for use in NMR. RF magnetic fields in the composite resonator system were visualized by measuring a homogeneous 4-hydroxy-2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-piperidinooxy (4-hydroxy-TEMPO) solution in a test tube. A phantom of five tubes containing distilled water and 4-hydroxy-TEMPO solution was also measured to demonstrate the potential usefulness of this composite resonator system in biomedical science. An image of unpaired electrons was obtained for 4-hydroxy-TEMPO in three tubes, and was successfully mapped on the proton image for five tubes. Technical problems in the implementation of a composite resonator system are discussed with regard to co-registration EPR/NMR imaging for animal experiments.  相似文献

A new strategy has been applied that combines molecular dynamics (MD) simulations and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy to study the structure and conformational dynamics of the spin-labeled photosynthetic reaction center (RC) ofRhodobacter sphaeroides. This protein serves here as a model system to demonstrate the applicability of this new methodology. The RC contains five native cysteines and EPR experiments show that only one cysteine, located on the H subunit, is accessible for spin labeling. The EPR spectra calculated from MD simulation trajectories of spin labels bound to the native cysteines C156 and C234 in subunit H reveal that only the spin label side chain at position 156 provides a spectrum which agrees with the experimental EPR spectrum.  相似文献

Forbidden transitions are not observed in the continuous-wave electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectrum nor in the free induction decay because, unlike allowed transitions, their coherences have no observable magnetic moment and are spectroscopically silent. Yet, the paramagnetic relaxation described by Redfield theory can cause coherence transfer between any types of transitions. Coherence transfer between allowed transitions is now known to cause noticeable changes in EPR spectra, but coherence transfer involving forbidden transitions has long been considered to be negligible because those coherences are silent and unseen. However, our simulations of a simple model system indicate that coherence transfer with silent transitions can introduce new features into EPR spectra. The EPR-silent coherence of a forbidden transition can be transferred to an allowed transition by paramagnetic relaxation. A silent coherence can have consequences felt in the EPR spectrum.  相似文献

自旋捕捉EPR、用于动物模型的低温EPR以及自旋标记EPR等多种EPR方法已经用于天然产物的抗氧化活性研究中.虽然对于抗氧化剂而言其必备条件之一就是具有体外清除自由基的能力,但是外源性抗氧化剂在生物体内抗氧化剂抗氧化能力评价的方法更有实际意义.通过对超过200种中药和一些传统中药处方的研究,已经建立并详细描述了用于评价天然产物抗氧化能力的EPR筛选方法.通过EPR方法可以获得天然产物在分子水平、细胞水平以及组织水平抗氧化能力的比较全面的评价.  相似文献

A new setup for longitudinal detection (LOD) of EPR signals based on a commercial pulse EPR spectrometer equipped with an ENDOR probehead is presented. The design is suited for pulse LOD EPR and amplitude-modulated cw LOD EPR experiments. The sensitivity is substantially increased compared with earlier designs. Two new pulse schemes that take full advantage of the special properties of the setup are invented. In transient-nutation longitudinally detected EPR (TN-LOD EPR), the nutation of magnetization during a microwave pulse is used to measure the EPR signal. In pulse-train excited longitudinally detected EPR (PT-LOD EPR), a train of microwave pulses that periodically inverts the magnetization is applied. First experimental results on radicals and metal complexes at room temperature are presented.  相似文献

A review is presented of the present status of EPR-based understanding of Fe in SiO2. As a primary goal, a guide to the literature is given. Quantitative evaluation of all relevant spin-Hamiltonian parameters is discussed, as is computer-based spectral simulation, for single crystals (alpha-quartz), powders and glasses (vitreous quartz). Identification of the numerous centres now known (e.g., for Fe3+:[FeO4/M]0 with M=H, Li, Na, …, as well as [FeO4]?) is featured, discussing atomic positions, surroundings and dynamic effects. Some general chemical considerations, including comparison between Fe in SiO2 crystals and glasses, are covered, as are future needs.  相似文献

This study is devoted to the reconstruction of the Elbrus volcano evolution by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) dating. The following ages have been obtained for the Elbrus activity cycles: early caldera cycle was apparent between 340 and 250 ka ago and changed into the denudation of volcano. Resumption of volcanic activity (late stage of caldera cycle) resulted in accumulation of thick volcanic rock mass (up to 2 km) took place about 170 ka ago. The end of this stage came 70–60 ka ago soon after the intrusion of subvolcanic bodies 90–70 ka ago. After Late Pleistocene glaciation, volcanic activity resumed several times, however, we have dated with EPR only one eruption which occurred 6.7 ka ago. Comparison with the results of geomorphological,14C, K?Ar and U-Th sensitive high-resolution ion microprobe dating show that EPR dating of quartz from volcanic rocks may be used for the reconstruction of the Late Neo-Pleistocene and Holocene history of the Elbrus. For older rocks, EPR ages are younger than those obtained with conventional methods. The causes of this disagreement are discussed.  相似文献

Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen(EPR) steering is one of important quantum correlations of a composite quantum system, which was observed firstly by Schrödinger in the context of the famous EPR paradox and has been discussed recently. In this paper, we give some characterizations of EPR steerability of bipartite states by proving some necessary and sufficient conditions for a state to be unsteerable with a measurement assemblage of Alice. Based on one of the obtained characterizations, we derive an EPR steering inequality, which serves to check EPR steerability of the maximally entangled states.  相似文献
