In this article, we focus on discussing the degree distribution of the DMS model from the perspective of probability. On the basis of the concept and technique of first-passage probability in Markov theory, we provide a rigorous proof for existence of the steady-state degree distribution, mathematically re-deriving the exact formula of the distribution. The approach based on Markov chain theory is universal and performs well in a large class of growing networks.  相似文献

In this work, bifurcation analysis near double homoclinic loops with Ws inclination ?ip of Γ1 and nonresonant eigenvalues is presented in a four-dimensional system. We establish a Poincar´e map by constructing local active coordinates approach in some tubular neighborhood of unperturbed double homoclinic loops. Through studying the bifurcation equations, we obtain the condition that the original double homoclinic loops are persistent, and get the existence or the nonexistence regions of the large 1-homoclinic orbit and the large 1-periodic orbit. At last, an analytical example is given to illustrate our main results.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the bifurcation for a class of cubic integrable system under cubic perturbation. Using bifurcation theory and qualitative analysis, we obtain a complete bifurcation diagram of the system in a neighbourhood of the origin for parameter plane.  相似文献

In this paper,the stability and the Hopf bifurcation of small-world networks with time delay are studied.By analyzing the change of delay,we obtain several sufficient conditions on stable and unstable properties.When the delay passes a critical value,a Hopf bifurcation may appear.Furthermore,the direction and the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions are investigated by the normal form theory and the center manifold reduction.At last,by numerical simulations,we further illustrate the effectiveness of theorems in this paper.  相似文献

The nature of the fixed points of the compound logistic map is researched and the boundary equation of the first bifurcation of the map in the parameter space is given out. Using the quantitative criterion and rule of chaotic system, the paper reveal the general features of the compound logistic map transforming from regularity to chaos, the following conclusions are shown: (1) chaotic patterns of the map may emerge out of double-periodic bifurcation and (2) the chaotic crisis phenomena and the reverse bifurcation are found. At the same time, we analyze the orbit of critical point of the compound logistic map and put forward the definition of Mandelbrot–Julia set of compound logistic map. We generalize the Welstead and Cromer’s periodic scanning technology and using this technology construct a series of Mandelbrot–Julia sets of compound logistic map. We investigate the symmetry of Mandelbrot–Julia set and study the topological inflexibility of distributing of period region in the Mandelbrot set, and finds that Mandelbrot set contain abundant information of structure of Julia sets by founding the whole portray of Julia sets based on Mandelbrot set qualitatively.  相似文献

In this paper, a discrete-time Hopfield neural network with delay is considered. We give some sufficient conditions ensuring the local stability of the equilibrium point for this model. By choosing the delay as a bifurcation parameter, we demonstrated that Neimark–Sacker bifurcation (or Hopf bifurcation for map) would occur when the delay exceeds a critical value. A formula for determining the direction bifurcation and stability of bifurcation periodic solutions is given by applying the normal form theory and the center manifold theorem. The delay logistic map with two types of q-deformations: Tsallis and Quantum-group type are studied. The stability of the logistic map and its bifurcation scheme is analyzed as a function of the deformation and delay parameters. Chaos is suppressed in a certain region of deformation and delay parameter space. By introducing delay, the steady state in one type of deformation is maintained while chaotic behavior is recovered in another type.  相似文献

In particular, we compute the invariant manifolds, including the important centre manifolds, and study their bifurcation. In this paper, a class of discrete-time system modelling a network with two neurons is considered. Its linear stability is investigated and Neimark–Sacker bifurcation (also called Hopf bifurcation for map) is demonstrated by analyzing the corresponding characteristic equation. In particular, the explicit formula for determining the direction of Neimark–Sacker bifurcation and the stability of periodic solution is obtained by using the normal form method and the center manifold theory for discrete time system developed by Kuznetsov. This paper presents a new perspective of looking at the relation between fractals and chaos by means of cities. Especially, a principle of space filling and spatial replacement is proposed to interpret the fractal dimension of urban form. The fractal dimension evolution of urban growth can be empirically modeled with Boltzmann’s equation. For the normalized data, Boltzmann’s equation is just equivalent to the logistic function. The logistic equation can be transformed into the well-known 1-dimensional logistic map, which is based on a 2-dimensional map suggesting spatial replacement dynamics of city development. The 2-dimensional recurrence relations can be employed to generate the nonlinear dynamical behaviors such as bifurcation and chaos. A discovery is thus made in this article that, for the fractal dimension growth following the logistic curve, the normalized dimension value is the ratio of space filling. If the rate of spatial replacement (urban growth) is too high, the periodic oscillations and chaos will arise. The spatial replacement dynamics can be extended to general replacement dynamics, and bifurcation and chaos mirror a process of complex replacement.  相似文献

This paper presents an analysis of the dynamical behaviour of a non-symmetric oscillator with piecewise-linearity. The Chen–Langford (C–L) method is used to obtain the averaged system of the oscillator. Using this method, the local bifurcation and the stability of the steady-state solutions are studied. A Runge–Kutta method, Poincaré map and the largest Lyapunov’s exponent are used to detect the complex dynamical phenomena of the system. It is found that the system with piecewise-linearity exhibits periodic oscillations, period-doubling, period-3 solution and then chaos. When chaos is found, it is detected by examining the phase plane, bifurcation diagram and the largest Lyapunov’s exponent. The results obtained in this paper show that the vibration system with piecewise-linearity do exhibit quite similar dynamical behaviour to the discrete system given by the logistic map.  相似文献

In this paper, a three dimensional autonomous system which is similar to the Lorenz system is considered. By choosing an appropriate bifurcation parameter, we prove that a Hopf bifurcation occurs in this system when the bifurcation parameter exceeds a critical value. A formula for determining the direction of the Hopf bifurcation and the stability of bifurcating periodic solutions is presented by applying the normal form theory. Finally, an example is given and numerical simulations are performed to illustrate the obtained results.  相似文献
