Abstract  

A tetrazole-supported polymeric ligand has been synthesized. The palladium complex derived from the polymeric material has been evaluated as a catalyst for the Heck reaction of aryl iodides and bromides with styrene to provide the corresponding products in high yields. The reaction proceeded smoothly in the presence of 1 mol% with respect to Pd of catalyst in DMF at 125 or 140 °C within 1–3 h. Recycling studies showed that the catalyst can be readily recovered and reused for several times without significant loss of catalytic activity.  相似文献

Abstract  

A fluorous nano-palladium catalyst has been synthesized and characterized. The catalyst is highly active for the Heck reaction of aryl halides with substituted styrenes in water under air. The corresponding Heck products were obtained in high yields with good stereoselectivity (E/Z up to 98:2). In addition, the catalyst could be recovered by fluorous liquid–liquid separation and reused four times without significant loss of activity or stereoselectivity.  相似文献

Abstract  

1-Methylimidazolium trifluoroacetate ([Hmim]TFA) is reported as a cost-effective catalyst for a simple and environmentally benign hetero-Michael reaction. [Hmim]TFA works both as reaction medium and catalyst. The reaction is applicable to various aromatic sulfur and nitrogen nucleophiles. This method has advantages such as high yields, short reaction time, and simple workup. Cyclization of a variety of chalcones to flavanones catalyzed by 1 mol% phosphomolybdic acid (PMA) supported on silica as a mild, efficient, and reusable catalyst was carried out in high yields. PMA-SiO2 is an efficient, inexpensive, and green catalyst which gave high conversion yields and could be recycled up to three times without significant loss in activity.  相似文献

Arylaminotetrazoles were efficiently synthesized from secondary arylcyanamides by application of ZnCl2/AlCl3/silica as a reusable heterogeneous Lewis acid catalyst. 5-Arylamino-1H-tetrazoles can be obtained from arylcyanamides carrying electron-withdrawing substituents on the aryl ring, while with electron-releasing groups 1-aryl-5-amino-1H-tetrazoles will be produced. The former isomer is also produced within longer reaction times (~20 h) even with electron-releasing groups.  相似文献

Abstract  

Among the various transition metal chlorides, zirconium(IV) chloride was found to be an efficient catalyst for the rapid synthesis of a wide range of 2,3-dialkyl- and 2,3-diaryl-quinoxaline and pyrido[2,3-b]pyrazine derivatives in excellent yields at room temperature. The remarkable features of this catalytic process are the mild reaction conditions, quantitative yields, short reaction times, high conversions, tolerability of various functional groups, clean reaction profiles, and operational simplicity.  相似文献

Abstract  

Nanoparticles of zinc oxide were supported on natural zeolite using a hydrothermal method. The catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction, UV–vis diffuse reflectance spectra, scanning electron microscopy, and energy-dispersive X-ray techniques. The maximum rate constant for photodegradation of methylene blue (MB) was observed at 80 wt.% ZnO. The influence of various parameters such as catalyst composition, initial concentration of MB, calcination temperature, pH, and catalyst weight on the photodegradation reaction was studied. It was found that photodegradation of MB followed pseudo-first-order kinetics. The rate constant of the reaction for 80 wt.% ZnO at optimized conditions was approximately 3.8 times higher than that for bare ZnO. The photocatalyst had good reusability after four runs. The higher activity of the supported catalyst is due to greater adsorption of MB on the catalyst and its capability to delocalize the conduction-band electrons of excited ZnO.  相似文献

A mild and efficient method was developed for preparation of amidoalkyl naphthols via one-pot three-component condensation of aldehydes with amides and 2-naphthol in the presence of polyethylene glycol (PEG)-based dicationic acidic ionic liquid as a powerful catalyst under solvent-free conditions. A simple, efficient, and green method for synthesis of 2,4,6-triarylpyridines by one-pot three-component reaction of acetophenones, aryl aldehydes, and ammonium acetate using 3-methyl-1-(4-sulfonylbutyl)imidazolium hydrogen sulfate [HO3S(CH2)4MIM][HSO4], a Br?nsted-acidic ionic liquid, as an effective and reusable catalyst under solvent-free conditions is described. Abstract  

Dealkylation of esters to carboxylic acids was performed using chloroaluminate ionic liquids (PyHBr/AlCl3, PyHCl/AlCl3, Me3NHCl/AlCl3, Et3NHCl/AlCl3) as catalyst and medium. The catalytic activity of PyHBr/AlCl3 (X(AlCl3) = 0.67) proved to be superior to the other three ionic liquids for the dealkylation of methyl benzoate with a conversion of 97% after 3 h at 140 °C. After easy separation from the products the ionic liquid PyHBr/AlCl3 could be reused six times without loss of its activity.  相似文献

Abstract  

A highly efficient procedure for glucosylation of flavonoids by acetobromoglucose is described. Glucosylation is carried out in a two-phase system CHCl3/H2O over 96 h using tetrabutylammonium bromide as phase-transfer catalyst. A purification procedure can be performed without column chromatography, and the yields of the glucosylated flavonoids are mostly quantitative. Acetylated glucosides were deprotected with sodium methanolate to afford the desired glucosides of flavonoids.  相似文献

Abstract  

A new polymer-supported Cu(II) Schiff base complex has been synthesized and characterized by elemental (including metal) analysis, FT-IR spectroscopy, UV–Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and scanning electron microscopy. The catalytic performance of this complex was evaluated in the epoxidation of styrene in acetonitrile/N,N-dimethylformamide (9:1) mixture with 70% tert-butyl hydroperoxide as an oxidizing agent under liquid phase reaction conditions for selective synthesis of styrene oxide. Suitable reaction conditions have been optimized by considering the effects of various reaction parameters such as temperature, reaction time, solvent, oxidant, catalyst amount, and styrene to hydroperoxide molar ratio for the maximum conversion of styrene as well as selectivity of styrene oxide. We have also investigated the epoxidation reaction of various olefins under the optimized reaction conditions. Comparison between catalytic activities of the polymer-supported Cu(II) Schiff base complex and its homogeneous analogue showed that the polymer-supported catalyst was more active. This heterogeneous complex was reused for five times. The selectivity of the heterogeneous catalyst does not change even after five times of reusing.  相似文献

Various β-aminoketones were synthesized in a three-component reaction of ketones, aldehydes, and amines in the presence of calcium chloride as catalyst in ethanol in high yields as compared to other synthetic methods. p-Toluenesulfonic acid (10 mol%) was found to be an effective and efficient catalyst for the synthesis of 2-substituted benzothiazoles from aromatic aldehydes and 2-aminothiophenol in moderate to excellent yields in water. Nanocrystalline magnesium oxide with high specific surface area has been used as a novel and efficient catalyst for an improved and rapid synthesis of biologically active 2,4,5-trisubstituted imidazoles, by three-component, one-pot condensation of 1,2-diketones and aryl aldehydes, in excellent yields under solvent-free and conventional heating conditions. The method has several advantages, for example excellent yields, shorter reaction time, and use of a non-toxic and recyclable catalyst.  相似文献
