Let M be a moduli space of stable principal G-bundles over a compact Kähler manifold (X,ωX), where G is a reductive linear algebraic group defined over C. Using the existence and uniqueness of a Hermite-Einstein connection on any stable G-bundle P over X, we have a Hermitian form on the harmonic representatives of H1(X,ad(P)), where ad(P) is the adjoint vector bundle. Using this Hermitian form a Hermitian structure on M is constructed; we call this the Petersson-Weil form. The Petersson-Weil form is a Kähler form, a fact which is a consequence of a fiber integral formula that we prove here. The curvature of the Petersson-Weil Kähler form is computed. Some further properties of this Kähler form are investigated.  相似文献

Let TBn(H) be an essentially normal spherical isometry with empty point spectrum on a separable complex Hilbert space H, and let ATB(H) be the unital dual operator algebra generated by T. In this note we show that every operator SB(H) in the essential commutant of AT has the form S=X+K with a T-Toeplitz operator X and a compact operator K. Our proof actually covers a larger class of subnormal operator tuples, called A-isometries, which includes for example the tuple T=(Mz1,…,Mzn)∈B(H2n(σ)) consisting of the multiplication operators with the coordinate functions on the Hardy space H2(σ) associated with the normalized surface measure σ on the boundary ∂D of a strictly pseudoconvex domain DCn. As an application we determine the essential commutant of the set of all analytic Toeplitz operators on H2(σ) and thus extend results proved by Davidson (1977) [6] for the unit disc and Ding and Sun (1997) [11] for the unit ball.  相似文献

Let C(X,T) be the group of continuous functions of a compact Hausdorff space X to the unit circle of the complex plane T with the pointwise multiplication as the composition law. We investigate how the structure of C(X,T) determines the topology of X. In particular, which group isomorphisms H between the groups C(X,T) and C(Y,T) imply the existence of a continuous map h of Y into X such that H is canonically represented by h. Among other results, it is proved that C(X,T) determines X module a biseparating group isomorphism and, when X is first countable, the automatic continuity and representation as Banach-Stone maps for biseparating group isomorphisms is also obtained.  相似文献

Let K(n) be the nth Morava K-theory at a prime p, and let T(n) be the telescope of a vn-self map of a finite complex of type n. In this paper we study the K(n)*-homology of ΩX, the 0th space of a spectrum X, and many related matters. We give a sampling of our results.Let PX be the free commutative S-algebra generated by X: it is weakly equivalent to the wedge of all the extended powers of X. Let M be a II-factor and denote by τ its normal faithful semi-finite trace. For any rearrangement invariant Köthe function space X on [0,+∞[, let X(M,τ) be the associated non-commutative Banach function space. This paper is concerned with ideals in M of the form IX(M,τ)=MX(M,τ) that are contained in Lp(M,τ) for some p>0. It is proved that an element T in IX(M,τ) is a finite sum of commutators of the form [A,B] with AIX(M,τ) and BM if and only if the function belongs to X, where νT is the Brown spectral measure of T and tλt(T) is the non-increasing rearrangement of the function λ→|λ| with respect to νT. This extends to general Banach function spaces a result obtained by Kalton for quasi-Banach ideals of compact operators and implies that the Dixmier's trace of a quasi-nilpotent element in L1,∞(M,τ) is always zero.  相似文献

Let X be a complex analytic manifold. Consider S?M?Xreal analytic submonifolds with codium R MS=1,and let ω be a connected component of M\S. Let p∈S XMTM *X where T* Xdenotes the conormal bundle to M in X, and denote by ν(p) the complex radial Euler field at p. Denote by μ*(Ox) (for * = M, ω) the microlocalization of the sheaf of holomorphic functions along *.

Under the assumption dimR(TpTM *X? ν(p)) = 1, a theorem of vanishing for the cohomology groups HjμM(Ox)p is proved in [K-S 1, Prop. 11.3.1], j being related to the number of positive and negative eigenvalue for the Levi form of M.

Under the hypothesis dimR(TpTS *X∩ν(p))=1, a similar result is proved here for the cohomology groups of the complex of microfunctions at the boundary μω(Ox).Stating this result in terms of regularity at the boundary for CR–hyperfunctions a local Bochner–type theorem is then obtained.  相似文献

Let X be a real form of a Hirzebruch surface. Let M H (r,c 1, c 2) be the moduli space of vector bundles on X. Under some numerical conditions on r, c 1 and c 2, we identify those M H (r,c 1,c 2) that are rational.  相似文献

Let X be a real reflexive Banach space with dual X. Let L:XD(L)→X be densely defined, linear and maximal monotone. Let T:XD(T)→X2, with 0∈D(T) and 0∈T(0), be strongly quasibounded and maximal monotone, and C:XD(C)→X bounded, demicontinuous and of type (S+) w.r.t. D(L). A new topological degree theory has been developed for the sum L+T+C. This degree theory is an extension of the Berkovits-Mustonen theory (for T=0) and an improvement of the work of Addou and Mermri (for T:XX2 bounded). Unbounded maximal monotone operators with are strongly quasibounded and may be used with the new degree theory.  相似文献

In this paper we study real hypersurfaces in the nearly Kaehler 6-sphere S 6 and show that there are three almost contact metric structures on a real hypersurface. Then we use a conformal vector field on the 6-sphere S 6 and study its influence on the almost contact metric structures on the real hypersurface M and use it to characterize the hyperspheres in S 6.  相似文献

The best generalized inverse of the linear operator in normed linear space   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Let X,Y be normed linear spaces, TL(X,Y) be a bounded linear operator from X to Y. One wants to solve the linear problem Ax=y for x (given yY), as well as one can. When A is invertible, the unique solution is x=A-1y. If this is not the case, one seeks an approximate solution of the form x=By, where B is an operator from Y to X. Such B is called a generalised inverse of A. Unfortunately, in general normed linear spaces, such an approximate solution depends nonlinearly on y. We introduce the concept of bounded quasi-linear generalised inverse Th of T, which contains the single-valued metric generalised inverse TM and the continuous linear projector generalised inverse T+. If X and Y are reflexive, we prove that the set of all bounded quasi-linear generalised inverses of T, denoted by GH(T), is not empty In the normed linear space of all bounded homogeneous operators, the best bounded quasi-linear generalised inverse Th of T is just the Moore-Penrose metric generalised inverse TM. In the case, X and Y are finite dimension spaces Rn and Rm, respectively, the results deduce the main result by G.R. Goldstein and J.A. Goldstein in 2000.  相似文献

Let D be a division ring with an involution J such that D is finite-dimensional over its center Z and char D≠2. Let T:Mm(D)→Mn(D) be a Z-linear map between matrix rings over D. We show that T satisfies [T(X)]1=T(X1) if and only if T(X)=∑±A1kXAk. Similarly, T satisfies [T(X)]1 = ? T(X1) if and only if T(X = ∑(A1kXBk ? B1kXAk). The first of these results generalizes and extends a theorem of R.D. Hill [2] on Hermitian-preserving transformations.  相似文献

Let (M,ω) be a symplectic manifold and G a compact Lie group that acts on M. Assume that the action of G on M is Hamiltonian. Then a G-equivariant Hamiltonian map on M induces a map on the symplectic quotient of M by G. Consider an autonomous Hamiltonian H with compact support on M, with no non-constant closed trajectory in time less than 1 and time-1 map fH. If the map fH descends to the symplectic quotient to a map Φ(fH) and the symplectic manifold M is exact and Ham(M,ω) has no short loops, we prove that the Hofer norm of the induced map Φ(fH) is bounded above by the Hofer norm of fH.  相似文献

The recent literature offers examples, specific and hand-crafted, of Tychonoff spaces (in ZFC) which respond negatively to these questions, due respectively to Ceder and Pearson (1967) [3] and to Comfort and García-Ferreira (2001) [5]: (1) Is every ω-resolvable space maximally resolvable? (2) Is every maximally resolvable space extraresolvable? Now using the method of KID expansion, the authors show that every suitably restricted Tychonoff topological space (X,T) admits a larger Tychonoff topology (that is, an “expansion”) witnessing such failure. Specifically the authors show in ZFC that if (X,T) is a maximally resolvable Tychonoff space with S(X,T)?Δ(X,T)=κ, then (X,T) has Tychonoff expansions U=Ui (1?i?5), with Δ(X,Ui)=Δ(X,T) and S(X,Ui)?Δ(X,Ui), such that (X,Ui) is: (i=1) ω-resolvable but not maximally resolvable; (i=2) [if κ is regular, with S(X,T)?κ?κ] τ-resolvable for all τ<κ, but not κ-resolvable; (i=3) maximally resolvable, but not extraresolvable; (i=4) extraresolvable, but not maximally resolvable; (i=5) maximally resolvable and extraresolvable, but not strongly extraresolvable.  相似文献

Let X(t) be the ergodic Gauss–Markov process with mean zero and covariance function e?|τ|. Let D(t) be +1, 0 or ?1 according as X(t) is positive, zero or negative. We determine the non-linear estimator of X(t1) based solely on D(t), ?T ? t ? 0, that has minimal mean–squared error ε2(t1, T). We present formulae for ε2(t1, T) and compare it numerically for a range of values of t1 and T with the best linear estimator of X(t1) based on the same data.  相似文献

Let H0(X) (H(X)) denote the set of all (nonempty) closed subsets of X endowed with the Vietoris topology. A basic problem concerning H(X) is to characterize those X for which H(X) is countably compact. We conjecture that u-compactness of X for some uω (or equivalently: all powers of X are countably compact) may be such a characterization. We give some results that point into this direction. We define the property R(κ): for every family of closed subsets of X separated by pairwise disjoint open sets and any family of natural numbers, the product is countably compact, and prove that if H(X) is countably compact for a T2-space X then X satisfies R(κ) for all κ. A space has R(1) iff all its finite powers are countably compact, so this generalizes a theorem of J. Ginsburg: if X is T2 and H(X) is countably compact, then so is Xn for all n<ω. We also prove that, for κ<t, if the T3 space X satisfies a weak form of R(κ), the orbit of every point in X is dense, and X contains κ pairwise disjoint open sets, then Xκ is countably compact. This generalizes the following theorem of J. Cao, T. Nogura, and A. Tomita: if X is T3, homogeneous, and H(X) is countably compact, then so is Xω.Then we study the Frolík sum (also called “one-point countable-compactification”) of a family . We use the Frolík sum to produce countably compact spaces with additional properties (like first countability) whose hyperspaces are not countably compact. We also prove that any product α<κH0(Xα) embeds into .  相似文献

Let WRn be a semialgebraic set defined by a quantifier-free formula with k atomic polynomials of the kind fZ[X1, . . . , Xn] such that degX1, . . . , Xn(f) < d and the absolute values of coefficients of f are less than 2M for some positive integers d, M. An algorithm is proposed for producing the complexification, Zariski closure, and also for finding all irreducible components of W. The running time of the algorithm is bounded from above by MO(1)(kd)nO(1). The procedure is applied to computing a Whitney system for a semialgebraic set and the real radical of a polynomial ideal.  相似文献

Let X be an infinite dimensional real reflexive Banach space with dual space X and GX, open and bounded. Assume that X and X are locally uniformly convex. Let T:XD(T)→2X be maximal monotone and strongly quasibounded, S:XD(S)→X maximal monotone, and C:XD(C)→X strongly quasibounded w.r.t. S and such that it satisfies a generalized (S+)-condition w.r.t. S. Assume that D(S)=LD(T)∩D(C), where L is a dense subspace of X, and 0∈T(0),S(0)=0. A new topological degree theory is introduced for the sum T+S+C, with degree mapping d(T+S+C,G,0). The reason for this development is the creation of a useful tool for the study of a class of time-dependent problems involving three operators. This degree theory is based on a degree theory that was recently developed by Kartsatos and Skrypnik just for the single-valued sum S+C, as above.  相似文献

We give a characterization of totally η-umbilical real hypersurfaces and ruled real hypersurfaces of a complex space form in terms of totally umbilical condition for the holomorphic distribution on real hypersurfaces. We prove that if the shape operator A of a real hypersurface M of a complex space form M n (c), c ≠ 0, n ⩾ 3, satisfies g(AX, Y) = ag(X, Y) for any X, YT 0(x), a being a function, where T 0 is the holomorphic distribution on M, then M is a totally η-umbilical real hypersurface or locally congruent to a ruled real hypersurface. This condition for the shape operator is a generalization of the notion of η-umbilical real hypersurfaces.  相似文献

For X a separable metric space define p(X) to be the smallest cardinality of a subset Z of X which is not a relative γ-set in X, i.e., there exists an ω-cover of X with no γ-subcover of Z. We give a characterization of p(ω2) and p(ωω) in terms of definable free filters on ω which is related to the pseudo-intersection number p. We show that for every uncountable standard analytic space X that either p(X)=p(ω2) or p(X)=p(ωω). We show that the following statements are each relatively consistent with ZFC: (a) p=p(ωω)<p(ω2) and (b) p<p(ωω)=p(ω2)  相似文献

Let (Ω, B, μ) be a measure space, X a separable Banach space, and X1 the space of all bounded conjugate linear functionals on X. Let f be a weak1 summable positive B(X, X1)-valued function defined on Ω. The existence of a separable Hilbert space K, a weakly measurable B(X, K)-valued function Q satisfying the relation Q1(ω)Q(ω) = f(ω) is proved. This result is used to define the Hilbert space L2,f of square integrable operator-valued functions with respect to f. It is shown that for B+(X, X1)-valued measures, the concepts of weak1, weak, and strong countable additivity are all the same. Connections with stochastic processes are explained.  相似文献
