To overcome the drawbacks of the structural instability and poor conductivity of SnO2-based anode materials, a hollow core–shell-structured SnO2@C@Co-NC (NC=N-doped carbon) composite was designed and synthesized by employing the heteroatom-doping and multiconfinement strategies. This composite material showed a much-reduced resistance to charge transfer and excellent cycling performance compared to the bare SnO2 nanoparticles and SnO2@C composites. The doped heteroatoms and heterostructure boost the charge transfer, and the porous structure shortens the Li-ion diffusion pathway. Also, the volume expansion of SnO2 NPs is accommodated by the hollow space and restricted by the multishell heteroatom-doped carbon framework. As a result, this structured anode material delivered a high initial capacity of 1559.1 mA h g−1 at 50 mA g−1 and an initial charge capacity of 627.2 mA h g−1 at 500 mA g−1. Moreover, the discharge capacity could be maintained at 410.8 mA h g−1 after 500 cycles with an attenuation rate of only 0.069 % per cycle. This multiconfined SnO2@C@Co-NC structure with superior energy density and durable lifespan is highly promising for the next-generation lithium-ion batteries.  相似文献

Lithium (Li) metal is regarded as the ultimate anode material for use in Li batteries due to its high theoretical capacity (3860 mA h g−1). However, the Li dendrites that are generated during iterative Li plating/stripping cycles cause poor cycling stability and even present safety risks, and thus severely handicap the commercial utility of Li metal anodes. Herein, we describe a graphene and carbon nanotube (CNT)-based Li host material that features vertically aligned channels with attached ZnO particles (designated ZnO@G-CNT-C) and show that the material effectively regulates Li plating and stripping. ZnO@G-CNT-C is prepared from an aqueous suspension of Zn(OAc)2, CNTs, and graphene oxide by using ice to template channel growth. ZnO@G-CNT-C was found to be mechanically robust and capable of guiding Li deposition on the inner walls of the channels without the formation of Li dendrites. When used as an electrode, the material exhibits relatively low polarization for Li plating, fast Li-ion diffusion, and high Coulombic efficiency, even over hundreds of Li plating/stripping cycles. Moreover, full cells prepared with ZnO@G-CNT-C as Li host and LiFePO4 as cathode exhibit outstanding performance in terms of specific capacity (155.9 mA h g−1 at 0.5 C), rate performance (91.8 mA h g−1 at 4 C), cycling stability (109.4 mA h g−1 at 0.5 C after 800 cycles). The methodology described can be readily adapted to enable the use of carbon-based electrodes with well-defined channels in a wide range of contemporary applications that pertain to energy storage and delivery.  相似文献

A tin oxide-titanium oxide/graphene (SnO2-TiO2/G) ternary nanocomposite as high-performance anode for Li-ion batteries was prepared via a simple reflux method. The graphite oxide (GO) was reduced to graphene nanosheet, and the SnO2-TiO2 nanocomposites were evenly distributed on the graphene matrix in the SnO2-TiO2/G nanocomposite. The as-prepared SnO2-TiO2/G nanocomposites were employed as anode materials for lithium-ion batteries, showing an outstanding performance with high reversible capacity and long cycle life. The composite delivered a superior initial discharge capacity of 1,594.6 mAh g?1 and a reversible specific capacity of 1,500.3 mAh g?1 at a current density of 100 mA g?1. After 100 cycles, the reversible discharge capacity was still maintained at 1,177.4 mAh g?1 at a current density of 100 mA g?1 with a high retained rate of reversible capacity of 73.8 %. The addition of small amount of TiO2 nanoparticles improved the cycling stability and specific capacity of SnO2-TiO2/G nanocomposite, obviously. The results demonstrate that the SnO2-TiO2/G nanocomposite is a promising alternative anode material for practical Li-ion batteries.  相似文献

To address the problems associated with poor conductivity and large volume variation in practical applications as a conversion cathode, engineering of hierarchical nanostructured FeOF coupled with conductive decoration is highly desired, yet rarely reported. Herein, 3D starfish-like FeOF on reduced graphene oxide sheets (FeOF/rGO) is successfully prepared, for the first time, through a combination of solvothermal reaction, self-assembly, and thermal reduction. Integrating the structural features of the 3D hierarchical nanostructure, which favorably shorten the path for electron/ion transport and alleviate volumetric changes, with those of graphene wrapping, which can further enhance the electrical conductivity and maintain the structural stability of the electrode, the as-prepared FeOF/rGO composite exhibits a superior lithium-storage performance, including a high reversible capacity (424.5 mA h−1 g−1 at 50 mA g−1), excellent stability (0.016 % capacity decay per cycle during 180 cycles), and remarkable rate capability (275.8 mA h−1 g−1 at 2000 mA g−1).  相似文献

Two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) has been recognized as a promising anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to its high theoretical capacity, but its rapid capacity decay owing to poor conductivity, structure pulverization, and polysulfide dissolution presents significant challenges in practical applications. Herein, triple-layered hollow spheres in which MoS2 nanosheets are fully encapsulated between inner carbon and outer nitrogen-doped carbon (NC) were fabricated. Such an architecture provides high conductivity and efficient lithium-ion transfer. Moreover, the NC shell prevents aggregation and exfoliation of MoS2 nanosheets and thus maintains the integrity of the nanostructure during the charge/discharge process. As anode materials for LIBs, the C@MoS2@NC hollow spheres deliver a high reversible capacity (747 mA h g−1 after 100 cycles at 100 mA g−1) and excellent long-cycle performance (650 mA h g−1 after 1000 cycles at 1.0 A g−1), which confirm its potential for high-performance LIBs.  相似文献

Tin oxide (SnO2) nanotubes with a fiber‐in‐tube structure have been prepared by electrospinning and the mechanism of their formation has been investigated. Tin oxide‐carbon composite nanofibers with a filled structure were formed as an intermediate product, which were then transformed into SnO2 nanotubes with a fiber‐in‐tube structure during heat treatment at 500 °C. Nanofibers with a diameter of 85 nm were found to be located inside hollow nanotubes with an outer diameter of 260 nm. The prepared SnO2 nanotubes had well‐developed mesopores. The discharge capacities of the SnO2 nanotubes at the 2nd and 300th cycles at a current density of 1 A g?1 were measured as 720 and 640 mA h g?1, respectively, and the corresponding capacity retention measured from the 2nd cycle was 88 %. The discharge capacities of the SnO2 nanotubes at incrementally increased current densities of 0.5, 1.5, 3, and 5 A g?1 were 774, 711, 652, and 591 mA h g?1, respectively. The SnO2 nanotubes with a fiber‐in‐tube structure showed superior cycling and rate performances compared to those of SnO2 nanopowder. The unique structure of the SnO2 nanotubes with a fiber@void@tube configuration improves their electrochemical properties by reducing the diffusion length of the lithium ions, and also imparts greater stability during electrochemical cycling.  相似文献

Tin oxide nanoparticles (SnO2 NPs) have been encapsulated in situ in a three‐dimensional ordered space structure. Within this composite, ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) acts as a carbon framework showing a desirable ordered mesoporous structure with an average pore size (≈6 nm) and a high surface area (470.3 m2 g?1), and the SnO2 NPs (≈10 nm) are highly loaded (up to 80 wt %) and homogeneously distributed within the OMC matrix. As an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries, a SnO2@OMC composite material can deliver an initial charge capacity of 943 mAh g?1 and retain 68.9 % of the initial capacity after 50 cycles at a current density of 50 mA g?1, even exhibit a capacity of 503 mA h g?1 after 100 cycles at 160 mA g?1. In situ encapsulation of the SnO2 NPs within an OMC framework contributes to a higher capacity and a better cycling stability and rate capability in comparison with bare OMC and OMC ex situ loaded with SnO2 particles (SnO2/OMC). The significantly improved electrochemical performance of the SnO2@OMC composite can be attributed to the multifunctional OMC matrix, which can facilitate electrolyte infiltration, accelerate charge transfer, and lithium‐ion diffusion, and act as a favorable buffer to release reaction strains for lithiation/delithiation of the SnO2 NPs.  相似文献

Heteroatom doping is an effective method to adjust the electrochemical behavior of carbonaceous materials. In this work, boron‐doped, carbon‐coated SnO2/graphene hybrids (BCTGs) were fabricated by hydrothermal carbonization of sucrose in the presence of SnO2/graphene nanosheets and phenylboronic acid or boric acid as dopant source and subsequent thermal treatment. Owing to their unique 2D core–shell architecture and B‐doped carbon shells, BCTGs have enhanced conductivity and extra active sites for lithium storage. With phenylboronic acid as B source, the resulting hybrid shows outstanding electrochemical performance as the anode in lithium‐ion batteries with a highly stable capacity of 1165 mA h g?1 at 0.1 A g?1 after 360 cycles and an excellent rate capability of 600 mA h g?1 at 3.2 A g?1, and thus outperforms most of the previously reported SnO2‐based anode materials.  相似文献

SnO2/graphene nanocomposites are synthesized by a new hydrothermal treatment strategy under the assistance of sucrose. From the images of the scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM), it can be observed that SnO2 nanoparticles with the size of 4~5 nm uniformly distribute on the graphene nanosheets. The result demonstrates that sucrose can effectively prevent graphene nanosheets from restacking during hydrothermal treatment and subsequently treatment. The charging/discharging test result indicates that the SnO2/graphene nanocomposites exhibit high specific capacity and excellent cycleability. The first reversible specific capacity is 729 mAh.g?1 at the current density of 50 mA.g?1, and remains 646 mAh.g?1 after 30 cycles at the current density of 100 mA.g?1, 30 cycles at the current density of 200 mA.g?1, 30 cycles at the current density of 400 mA.g?1, 30 cycles at the current density of 800 mA.g?1, and 30 cycles at the current density of 50 mA.g?1.  相似文献

A facile method for the large‐scale synthesis of SnO2 nanocrystal/graphene composites by using coarse metallic Sn particles and cheap graphite oxide (GO) as raw materials is demonstrated. This method uses simple ball milling to realize a mechanochemical reaction between Sn particles and GO. After the reaction, the initial coarse Sn particles with sizes of 3–30 μm are converted to SnO2 nanocrystals (approximately 4 nm) while GO is reduced to graphene. Composite with different grinding times (1 h 20 min, 2 h 20 min or 8 h 20 min, abbreviated to 1, 2 or 8 h below) and raw material ratios (Sn:GO, 1:2, 1:1, 2:1, w/w) are investigated by X‐ray diffraction, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, field‐emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. The as‐prepared SnO2/graphene composite with a grinding time of 8 h and raw material ratio of 1:1 forms micrometer‐sized architected chips composed of composite sheets, and demonstrates a high tap density of 1.53 g cm?3. By using such composites as anode material for LIBs, a high specific capacity of 891 mA h g?1 is achieved even after 50 cycles at 100 mA g?1.  相似文献

To address the poor cycling stability and low rate capability of MoS2 as electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), herein, the CoS2/MoS2/PDDA-rGO/PMo12 nanocomposites are constructed via a simple hydrothermal process, combining the advantages of all three, namely, CoS2/MoS2 heterojunction and polyoxometalates (POMs) provide abundant catalytically active sites and increase the multi-electron transfer ability, and the positively charged poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride) modified reduced graphene oxide (PDDA-rGO) improve electronic conductivity and effectively prevent the aggregation of MoS2, meanwhile stabilize the negatively charged [PMo12O40]3−. After the electrochemical testing, the resulting CoS2/MoS2/PDDA-rGO/PMo12 nanocomposite achieved 1055 mA h g−1 initial specific capacities and stabilized at 740 mA h g−1 after 150 cycles at 100 mA g−1 current density. And the specific capacities of MoS2, MoS2/PDDA-rGO, CoS2/MoS2, and CoS2/MoS2/PDDA-rGO were 201, 421, 518, and 589 at 100 mA g−1 after 150 cycles, respectively. The fact of the greatly improving capacity of MoS2-based nanocomposites suggests its potential for high performance electrode materials of LIBs. Moreover, the lithium storage mechanism of CoS2/MoS2/PDDA-rGO/PMo12 has been discussed on the basis of cyclic voltammetry with different scan rates.  相似文献

A composite of two-dimensional (2D) GeSe2 nanosheets dispersed on N-doped reduced graphene oxide (GeSe2/N-rGO) is fabricated via a simple hydrothermal method combined with post-selenization process. The high electronic conductivity and the substantial void spaces of the wrinkled N-rGO can improve the electrical conductivity of the active material and accommodate the volume evolution of GeSe2 nanosheets during the (de)lithiation processes, while GeSe2 nanosheets can reduce ion diffusion length effectively. Meanwhile, the unique layered structure is beneficial to the contact of the active material and electrolyte, and the reversibility of conversion reaction has also been improved. Furthermore, kinetics analysis reveals a pseudocapacitance-dominated Li+-storage mechanism at high rates. In-situ X-ray diffraction analysis discloses that the conversion reaction has played a certain part in Li+-storage. Thus, the GeSe2/N-rGO composite delivers excellent rate capability and good long-term stability with a high reversible capacity of 711.0 mA h g−1 after 2000 cycles at 1 A g−1.  相似文献

Biomimetic straw-like bundles of Co-doped Fe2O3 (SCF), with Co2+ incorporated into the lattice of α-Fe2O3, was fabricated through a cost-effective hydrothermal process and used as the anode material for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The SCF exhibited ultrahigh initial discharge specific capacity (1760.7 mA h−1 g−1 at 200 mA g−1) and cycling stability (with the capacity retention of 1268.3 mA h−1 g−1 after 350 cycles at 200 mA g−1). In addition, a superior rate capacity of 376.1 mA h−1 g−1 was obtained at a high current density of 4000 mA g−1. The remarkable electrochemical lithium storage of SCF is attributed to the Co-doping, which increases the unit cell volume and affects the whole structure. It makes the Li+ insertion–extraction process more flexible. Meanwhile, the distinctive straw-like bundle structure can accelerate Li ion diffusion and alleviate the huge volume expansion upon cycling.  相似文献

Metal oxalate has become a most promising candidate as an anode material for lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. However, capacity decrease owing to the volume expansion of the active material during cycling is a problem. Herein, a rod-like CoC2O4⋅2 H2O/rGO hybrid is fabricated through a novel multistep solvo/hydrothermal strategy. The structural characteristics of the CoC2O4⋅2 H2O microrod wrapped using rGO sheets not only inhibit the volume variation of the hybrid electrode during cycling, but also accelerate the transfer of electrons and ions in the 3 D graphene network, thereby improving the electrochemical properties of CoC2O4⋅2 H2O. The CoC2O4⋅2 H2O/rGO electrode delivers a specific capacity of 1011.5 mA h g−1 at 0.2 A g−1 after 200 cycles for lithium storage, and a high capacity of 221.1 mA h g−1 at 0.2 A g−1 after 100 cycles for sodium storage. Moreover, the full cell CoC2O4⋅2 H2O/rGO//LiCoO2 consisting of the CoC2O4⋅2 H2O/rGO anode and LiCoO2 cathode maintains 138.1 mA h g−1 after 200 cycles at 0.2 A g−1 and has superior long-cycle stability. In addition, in situ Raman spectroscopy and in situ and ex situ X-ray diffraction techniques provide a unique opportunity to understand fully the reaction mechanism of CoC2O4⋅2 H2O/rGO. This work also gives a new perspective and solid research basis for the application of metal oxalate materials in high-performance lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries.  相似文献

Carbon nanomaterials, especially graphene and carbon nanotubes, are considered to be favorable alternatives to graphite‐based anodes in lithium‐ion batteries, owing to their high specific surface area, electrical conductivity, and excellent mechanical flexibility. However, the limited number of storage sites for lithium ions within the sp2‐carbon hexahedrons leads to the low storage capacity. Thus, rational structure design is essential for the preparation of high‐performance carbon‐based anode materials. Herein, we employed flexible single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) with ultrahigh electrical conductivity as a wrapper for 3D graphene foam (GF) by using a facile dip‐coating process to form a binary network structure. This structure, which offered high electrical conductivity, enlarged the electrode/electrolyte contact area, shortened the electron‐/ion‐transport pathways, and allowed for efficient utilization of the active material, which led to improved electrochemical performance. When used as an anode in lithium‐ion batteries, the SWCNT‐GF electrode delivered a specific capacity of 953 mA h g?1 at a current density of 0.1 A g?1 and a high reversible capacity of 606 mA h g?1 after 1000 cycles, with a capacity retention of 90 % over 1000 cycles at 1 A g?1 and 189 mA h g?1 after 2200 cycles at 5 A g?1.  相似文献

A large‐scale hierarchical assembly route is reported for the formation of SnO2 on the nanoscale that contains rigid and robust spheres with irregular channels for rapid access of Li ions into the hierarchically structured interiors. Large volume changes during the process of Li insertion and extraction are accommodated by the SnO2 nanoflake spheres’ internal porosity. The hierarchical SnO2 nanoflake spheres exhibit good lithium storage properties with high capacity and long‐lasting performance when used as lithium‐ion anodes. A reversible capacity of 517 mA h g?1, still greater than the theoretical capacity of graphite (372 mA h g?1), after 50 charge–discharge cycles is attained. Meanwhile, the synthesis process is simple, inexpensive, safe, and broadly applicable, providing new avenues for the rational engineering of electrode materials with enhanced conductivity and power.  相似文献

Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) are promising anode candidates for sodium-ion batteries, due to their high theoretical specific capacity and working potential. However, the low conductivity and excessive volume variation of TMPs during insertion/extraction of sodium ions result in a poor rate performance and long-term cycling stability, largely limiting their practical application. In this paper, NiP2 nanoparticles encapsulated in three-dimensional graphene (NiP2@rGO) were obtained from the flower-like spherical α-Ni(OH)2 by phosphating and carbon encapsulation processes. When used as a sodium-ion batteries anode material, the NiP2@rGO composite shows an excellent cycling performance (117 mA h g−1 at 10 A g−1 after 8000 cycles). The outstanding electrochemical performance of NiP2@rGO is ascribed to the synergistic effect of the rGO and NiP2. The rGO wrapped on the NiP2 nanoparticles build a conductive way, improving ionic and electronic conductivity. The effective combination of NiP2 nanoparticles with graphene greatly reduces the aggregation and pulverization of NiP2 nanoparticles during the discharge/charge process. This study may shed light on the construction of high-performance anode materials for sodium-ion batteries and to other electrode materials.  相似文献

Tungsten oxide/graphene hybrid materials are attractive semiconductors for energy-related applications. Herein, we report an asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC, HRG//m-WO3 ASC), fabricated from monoclinic tungsten oxide (m-WO3) nanoplates as a negative electrode and highly reduced graphene oxide (HRG) as a positive electrode material. The supercapacitor performance of the prepared electrodes was evaluated in an aqueous electrolyte (1 m H2SO4) using three- and two-electrode systems. The HRG//m-WO3 ASC exhibits a maximum specific capacitance of 389 F g−1 at a current density of 0.5 A g−1, with an associated high energy density of 93 Wh kg−1 at a power density of 500 W kg−1 in a wide 1.6 V operating potential window. In addition, the HRG//m-WO3 ASC displays long-term cycling stability, maintaining 92 % of the original specific capacitance after 5000 galvanostatic charge–discharge cycles. The m-WO3 nanoplates were prepared hydrothermally while HRG was synthesized by a modified Hummers method.  相似文献

Recently, the frequency of combining MXene, which has unique properties such as metal-level conductivity and large specific surface area, with silicon to achieve excellent electrochemical performance has increased considerably. There is no doubt that the introduction of MXene can improve the conductivity of silicon and the cycling stability of electrodes after elaborate structure design. However, most exhaustive contacts can only improve the electrode conductivity on the plane. Herein, a MXene@Si/CNTs (HIEN-MSC) composite with hierarchical interpenetrating electroconductive networks has been synthesized by electrostatic self-assembly. In this process, the CNTs are first combined with silicon nanoparticles and then assembled with MXene nanosheets. Inserting CNTs into silicon nanoparticles can not only reduce the latter‘s agglomeration, but also immobilizes them on the three-dimensional conductive framework composed of CNTs and MXene nanosheets. Therefore, the HIEN-MSC electrode shows superior rate performance (high reversible capacity of 280 mA h−1 even tested at 10 A g−1), cycling stability (stable reversible capacity of 547 mA h g−1 after 200 cycles at 1 A g−1) and applicability (a high reversible capacity of 101 mA h g−1 after 50 cycles when assembled with NCM622 into a full cell). These results may provide new insights for other electrodes with excellent rate performance and long-cycle stability.  相似文献

As two-dimensional (2D) materials, bismuth (Bi) has large interlayer spacing along c-axis (0.395 nm) which provides rich active sites for sodium ions, thus guaranteeing high sodium ion storage activity. However, its poor electrical conductivity, combined with its degraded cycling performance, restricts its practical application. Herein, Bi microsphere coated with nitrogen-doped carbon (Bi@NC) was synthesized. Owing to the unique Bi crystals and nitrogen-doped carbon layer, the obtained Bi@NC anode exhibited satisfactory cycling stability and superior rate capability. Moreover, after assembling Bi@NC anode with Na3V2(PO4)3@C cathode to full battery, excellent sodium storage performance was obtained (57 mA h g−1 after 2000 cycles at 1.0 A g−1).  相似文献
