With the help of the zero-curvature equation and the super trace identity, we derive a super extension of the Kaup-Newell hierarchy associated with a 3 × 3 matrix spectral problem and establish its super bi-Hamiltonian structures. Furthermore, infinite conservation laws of the super Kaup Newell equation are obtained by using spectral parameter expansions.  相似文献

A new Lie algebra G of the Lie algebra sl(2) is constructed with complex entries whose structure constants are real and imaginary numbers. A loop algebra G corresponding to the Lie algebra G is constructed, for which it is devoted to generating a soliton hierarchy of evolution equations under the framework of generalized zero curvature equation which is derived from the compatibility of the isospectral problems expressed by Hirota operators. Finally, we decompose the Lie algebra G to obtain the subalgebras G1 and G2. Using the G2 and its one type of loop algebra G2, a Liouville integrable soliton hierarchy is obtained, furthermore, we obtain its bi-Hamiltonian structure by employing the quadratic-form identity.  相似文献

By considering a new discrete isospectral eigenvalue problem, a hierarchy of lattice soliton equations of rational type are derived. It is shown that each equation in the resulting hierarchy is integrable in Liouville sense and possessing bi-Hamiltonian structure. Two types of semi-direct sums of Lie algebras are proposed, by using of which a practicable way to construct discrete integrable couplings is introduced. As applications, two kinds of discrete integrable couplings of the resulting system are worked out.  相似文献

Collisions of spatial solitons occurring in the nonlinear Schroeinger equation with harmonic potential are studied, using conservation laws and the split-step Fourier method. We find an analytical solution for the separation distance between the spatial solitons in an inhomogeneous nonlinear medium when the light beam is self-trapped in the transverse dimension. In the self-focusing nonlinear media the spatial solitons can be transmitted stably, and the interaction between spatial solitons is enhanced due to the linear focusing effect (and also diminished for the linear defocusing effect). In the self-defocusing nonlinear media, in the absence of self-trapping or in the presence of linear self-defocusing, no transmission of stable spatial solitons is possible. However, in such media the linear focusing effect can be exactly compensated, and the spatial solitons can propagate through.  相似文献

An improved algorithm for symbolic computations of polynomial-type conservation laws (PCLaws) of a general polynomial nonlinear system is presented. The algorithm is implemented in Maple and can be successfully used for high-dimensional models. Furthermore, the algorithm discards the restriction to evolution equations. The program can also be used to determine the preferences for a given parameterized nonlinear systems. The code is tested on several known nonlinear equations from the soliton theory.  相似文献

In this paper, the Adomian decomposition method is developed for the numerical solutions of a class of nonlinear evolution equations with nonlinear term of any order, utt+auxx + bu + cu^p+ du^2p-1=0, which contains some important famous equations. When setting the initial conditions in different forms, some new generalized numerical solutions: numerical hyperbolic solutions, numerical doubly periodic solutions are obtained. The numerical solutions are compared with exact solutions. The scheme is tested by choosing different values of p, positive and negative, integer and fraction, to illustrate the efficiency of the ADM method and the generalization of the solutions.  相似文献

The sinh-Gordon equation expansion method is further extended by generMizing the sinh-Gordon equation and constructing new ansatz solution of the considered equation. As its application, the (2+1)-dimensional Konopelchenko-Dubrovsky equation is investigated and abundant exact travelling wave solutions are explicitly obtained including solitary wave solutions, trigonometric function solutions and Jacobi elliptic doubly periodic function solutions, some of which are new exact solutions that we have never seen before within our knowledge. The method can be applied to other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In the present paper, we identify the integrability of the third-order nonlinear evolution equation ut = (1/2)((uxz + u)^-2)z in a Hamiltonian viewpoint. We prove that the recursion operator obtained by S.Yu. Sakovich is hereditary, and then deduce a bi-Hamiltonian structure of the equation by using some decomposition of the hereditary operator. Lie symmetry and Mei conservation law of continuum Lagrange system are studied in this paper. The equation of motion of continuum system is established by using variational principle of continuous coordinates. The invariance of the equation of motion under an infinitesimal transformation group is determined to be Lie-symmetric. The condition of obtaining Mei conservation theorem from Lie symmetry is also presented. An example is discussed for applications of the results.  相似文献

In this paper, we investigate a class of mixed initial-boundary value problems for a kind of n × n quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws on the quarter plan. We show that the structure of the pieeewise C^1 solution u = u(t, x) of the problem, which can be regarded as a perturbation of the corresponding Riemann problem, is globally similar to that of the solution u = U(x/t) of the corresponding Riemann problem. The piecewise C^1 solution u = u(t, x) to this kind of problems is globally structure-stable if and only if it contains only non-degenerate shocks and contact discontinuities, but no rarefaction waves and other weak discontinuities.  相似文献

The conservation laws for CHESCS are constructed. For a Birkhoffing system in the event space, a general approach to the construction of conservation laws is presented. The conservation laws are constructed by finding corresponding integrating factors for the parametric equations of the system. First, the parametric equations of the Birkhoffian system in the event space are established, and the definition of integrating factors for the system is given; second the necessary conditions for the existence of conservation laws are studied in detail, and the relation between the conservation laws and the integrating factors of the system is obtained and the generalized Killing equations for the determination of the integrating factors are given; finally, the conservation theorem and its inverse for the system are established, and an example is given to illustrate the application of the results.  相似文献

Under investigation in this paper are two coupled integrable dispersionless (CID) equations modeling the dynamics of the current-fed string within an external magnetic field. Through a set of the dependent variable transformations, the bilinear forms for the CID equations are derived. Based on the Hirota method and symbolic computation, the analytic N-soliton solutions are presented. Infinitely many conservation laws for the CID equations are given through the known spectral problem. Propagation characteristics and interaction behaviors of the solitons are analyzed graphically.  相似文献

A one-parameter generalization of the hierarchy of negative flows is introduced for integrable hierarchies of evolution equations, which yields a wider (new) class of non-evolutionary integrable nonlinear wave equations. As main results, several integrability properties of these generalized negative flow equation are established, including their symmetry structure, conservation laws, and bi-Hamiltonian formulation. (The results also apply to the hierarchy of ordinary negative flows). The first generalized negative flow equation is worked out explicitly for each of the following integrable equations: Burgers, Korteweg-de Vries, modified Korteweg-de Vries, Sawada-Kotera, Kaup-Kupershmidt, Kupershmidt.  相似文献
