In this investigation, nonstoichiometries and defect structures of tin oxides were studied between 694 and 990 K by coulometric titration using solid state electrolyte (YSZ) cells. The relationship between nonstoichiometry of the oxide (x) and equilibrium oxygen partial pressure (Po2) was expressed by the proportionality: xPO2−1/6. An intermediate oxide phase, Sn3O4 between Sn and SnO2 was observed in the temperature range of 696–732 K. The standard Gibbs energy of formation of Sn3O4 via the reaction; was found to be ΔGoSn3O4 = −1163960+417.36 T (J/mol). The standard Gibbs energy change for the defect formation reaction in SnO2−x was calculated to be ΔGoSnO2−x = 3.05×105−38.97 T (J/mol)).  相似文献

A series of apatite-type La–Ge–O ceramics were prepared and their cation-defect at the 4f+6h sites and oxide ion-defect at 2a site were investigated. In LaxGe6O12+1.5x ceramics of x=6–12, the higher conductivities were obtained in the region of apatite composition, Lax(GeO4)6O1.5x−12 (x=8–9.33), and the highest conductivity was achieved for La9(GeO4)6O1.5 (x=9), where the number of cation (La3+) occupying the 4f+6h sites is 9 and the number of oxide ion occupying the 2a site is 1.5. The ceramics with cation- and oxide ion-defects were La9−0.66xSrx(GeO4)6O1.5 (x=0–1), La9−1.33xZrx(GeO4)6O1.5 (x=0–1), La9−xSrx(GeO4)6O1.5−0.5x (x=0–3), La9−xZrx(GeO4)6O1.5+0.5x (x=0–1), Lax(GeO4)3x−21(AsO4)27−3xO1.5 (x=0–3), Lax(GeO4)33−3x(AlO4)3x−27O1.5 (x=0–3), La9(GeO4)6−x (AlO4)xO1.5−0.5x (x=0–3), La9(GeO4)6−x(AsO4)xO1.5+0.5x (x=0–1), La9.33−xSrx(GeO4)6O2−0.5x (x=0–1.2) and Lax(GeO4)4.5(AlO4)1.5O1.5x−12.75 (x=8.8–9.83), which were prepared by the partial substitution of La3+and GeO44−of the basic apatite La9(GeO4)6O1.5 with Sr2+ or Zr4+ and AlO45− or AsO43−. Such substitutions lowered the conductivity of La9(GeO4)6O1.5. These results were discussed by the electrostatic interaction between Sr2+, Zr4+, AlO45− or AsO43− and oxide ion as a conductive species.  相似文献

Rod-shaped (Lu1−xYbx)3Al5O12 with x=0.05, 0.15, 0.30 and (Y1−xYbx)AlO3 with x=0.05, 0.10, 0.30 single crystals were grown by the micro-pulling-down method. Edge-defined film-fed growth method was used to prepare (Y0.9Yb0.1)VO4 crystal, while Ca8(La1.98Yb0.02)(PO4)6O2 crystal was grown by the Czochralski method. Luminescence of these crystals was studied with main attention paid to the charge transfer emission of Yb3+. Temperature tuned decay times in the time scale of units—tens of nanosecond was measured as a feature possibly interesting for an application in scintillation detectors in positron emission tomography.  相似文献

LiCoxNi1−xVO4 compounds (x=0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8, 1.0) have been prepared for lithium ion batteries by different preparation methods, namely, wet-chemistry (WC) and solid-state (SS) routes. 51V nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) has been employed to accurately assess the vanadium environments in these materials and results show that vanadium atoms are distributed in octahedral and tetrahedral sites. The fractions of vanadium atoms in tetrahedral/octahedral sites depends on composition and sample preparation conditions. The tetrahedral site, which is particularly dominant in samples produced via the WC route, is more affected by paramagnetic interactions and its 51V NMR spectrum is essentially Gaussian in shape. The octahedral site, on the other hand, exhibits first-order quadrupolar broadened satellites. Even though tetrahedral sites for a given x are comparable for WC and SS materials, there are some differences amongst octahedral environments, namely in the distributions of quadrupolar broadened satellites. The larger satellite distribution observed for WC materials is indicative of a larger distribution of structural defects for these as compared to SS materials.  相似文献

A new lithium ionic conductor of the thio-LISICON (LIthium SuperIonic CONductor) family was found in the binary Li2S–P2S5 system; the new solid solution with the composition range 0.0≤x≤0.27 in Li3+5xP1−xS4 was synthesized at 700 °C and characterized by X-ray diffraction measurements. Its electrical and electrochemical properties were studied by ac impedance and cyclic voltammetry measurements, respectively. The solid solution member at x=0.065 in Li3+5xP1−xS4 showed the highest conductivity value of 1.5×10−4 S cm−1 at 27 °C with negligible electronic conductivity and the activation energy of 22 kJ mol−1 which is characteristic of high ionic conduction state. The extra lithium ions in Li3PS4 created by partial substitution of P5+ for Li+ led to the large increase in ionic conductivity. In the solid solution range examined, the minimum conductivity was obtained for the compositions, Li3PS4 (x=0.0 in Li3+5xP1−xS4) and Li4P0.8S4 (x=0.2 in Li3+5xP1−xS4); this conductivity behavior is similar to other thio-LISICON family with the general formula, LixM1−yMy′S4 (M=Si, Ge, and M′=P, Al, Zn, Ga, Sb). Conduction mechanism and the material design concepts are discussed based on the conduction behavior and the structure considerations.  相似文献

The growth of epitaxial InBixAsySb(1−xy) layers on highly lattice mis-matched semi-insulating GaAs substrates has been successfully achieved via the traditional liquid phase epitaxy. Orientation and single crystalline nature of the film have been confirmed by X-ray diffraction. Scanning electron micrograph shows abrupt interface at micrometer resolution. Surface composition of Bi(x) and As(y) in the InBixAsySb(1−xy) film was measured using energy dispersive X-ray analysis and found to be 2.5 and 10.5 at.%, respectively, and was further confirmed with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Variation of the composition with depth of the film was studied by removing the layers with low current (20 μA) Ar+ etching. It was observed that with successive Ar+ etching, In/Sb ratio remained the same, while the As/Sb and Bi/Sb ratios changed slightly with etching time. However after about 5 min etching the As/Sb and Bi/Sb ratios reached constant values. The room temperature band gap of InBi0.025As0.105Sb0.870 was found to be in the range of 0.113–0.120 eV. The measured values of mobility and carrier density at room temperature are 3.1×104 cm2 V−1 s−1 and 8.07×1016 cm−3, respectively.  相似文献

Strained Si1−xGex/Si quantum wells have been doped with erbium by implantation. A comparison is made with strained Si1−xGex/Si quantum wells and relaxed Si1−xGex, with x between 10% and 25%, doped with erbium during MBE growth. The erbium concentration was between 1×1018 and 5×1018 cm−3 throughout the active regions. Transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and photoluminescence studies indicate that good regrowth can been achieved after full amorphisation by implantation of the strained quantum wells. The erbium luminescence is more intense in the Si1−xGex/Si layers, but erbium-implanted samples containing Si1−xGex exhibit defect luminescence in the region of 0.9–1.0 eV. These defects are also present when Si1−xGex/Si quantum wells are implanted with an amorphising dose of silicon, and then regrown. They are attributed to small germanium-rich platelets, rather than to erbium-related defects. Electroluminescence is presented from a forward biased erbium-implanted Si0.87Ge0.13/Si structure at a drive current density of only 1.8 mA/cm2.  相似文献

The polarized Raman spectra of Nd1+xBa2−xCu3O7−δ (−0.023≤x≤0.107) and Pr1+xBa2−xCu3O7−δ (0.01≤x≤0.15) single crystals have been investigated. It was found that the Cu(2) Ag mode softens by 6 cm−1 in Nd 1:2:3 and 4 cm−1 in Pr 1:2:3 as x increases. These frequency shifts cannot be explained by the change in the relevant bond lengths due to Nd(Pr)-substitution for Ba. The variations with x of the two low frequency modes may be affected by change of their hybridization and/or change of their force constants. The linewidths of Ba mode in Pr 1:2:3 are broader than those in Y 1:2:3. This result suggests that the Pr substitution on Ba sites occurred even in a very small value of x. In x(yy) geometry the relative intensity of the Ba and O(4) modes in Nd 1:2:3 is greater than those in Pr 1:2:3. The difference between Nd 1:2:3 and Pr 1:2:3 in the relative intensity of the Ba and O(4) modes may be produced by the chains.  相似文献

The maximum solid solubility of gallium in the perovskite-type La1−xSrxFe1−yGayO3−δ (x=0.40–0.80; y=0–0.60) was found to vary in the approximate range y=0.25–0.45, decreasing when x increases. Crystal lattice of the perovskite phases, formed in atmospheric air, was studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and neutron diffraction and identified as cubic. Doping with Ga results in increasing unit cell volume, while the thermal expansion and total conductivity of (La,Sr)(Fe,Ga)O3−δ in air decrease with gallium additions. The average thermal expansion coefficients (TECs) are in the range (11.7–16.0)×10−6 K−1 at 300–800 K and (19.3–26.7)×10−6 K−1 at 800–1100 K. At oxygen partial pressures close to atmospheric air, the oxygen permeation fluxes through La1−xSrxFe1−yGayO3−δ (x=0.7–0.8; y=0.2–0.4) membranes are determined by the bulk ambipolar conductivity; the limiting effect of the oxygen surface exchange was found negligible. Decreasing strontium and gallium concentrations leads to a greater role of the exchange processes. As for many other perovskite systems, the oxygen ionic conductivity of La1−xSrxFe1−yGayO3−δ increases with strontium content up to x=0.70 and decreases on further doping, probably due to association of oxygen vacancies. Incorporation of moderate amounts of gallium into the B sublattice results in increasing structural disorder, higher ionic conductivity at temperatures below 1170 K, and lower activation energy for the ionic transport.  相似文献

Lithium insertion to distorted ReO3-type metastable solid solution NbxW1−xO3−x/2 (0≤x<0.25) has been studied by chemical and electrochemical methods. In the course of lithium insertion into tetragonal compounds, transition to a cubic phase was found to occur in the region where values of y (in LiyNbxW1−xO3−x/2) fall between 0.2 and 0.3, and the phase transition was found to depend on the conditions of the reaction. Changes in OCV and lattice parameters in tetragonal region (y<0.2) were discussed from the viewpoint of the ordering of lithium ions. Also, the component diffusion coefficient of lithium in tetragonal compounds Li0.1NbxW1−xO3−x/2 (0≤x≤0.23) was found to increase with niobium content when x≤0.10, and to saturate at 4×10−9 cm2/s.  相似文献

Oxygen tracer diffusion (D*) and surface exchange rate constant (k*) have been measured, using isotopic exchange and depth profiling by secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), in La1−xSrxFe0.8Cr0.2O3−δ (x=0.2, 0.4 and 0.6). Measurements were made as a function of temperature (700–1000 °C) and oxygen partial pressure (0.21–10−21 atm) in dry oxygen, water vapour and water vapour/hydrogen/nitrogen mixtures. At high oxygen activity, D* was found to increase with increasing temperature and Sr content. The activation energies for D* in air are 2.13 eV (x=0.2), 1.53 eV (x=0.4) and 1.21 eV (x=0.6). As the oxygen activity decreases, D* increases as expected qualitatively from the increase in oxygen vacancy concentration. Under strongly reducing conditions, the measured values of D* at 1000 °C range from 10−8 cm2 s−1 for x=0.2 to 10−7 cm2 s−1 for x=0.4 and 0.6. The activation energies determined at constant H2O/H2 ratio are 1.21 eV (x=0.2), 1.59 eV (x=0.4) and 0.82 eV (x=0.6).

The surface exchange rate constant of oxygen for the H2O molecule is similar in magnitude to that for the O2 molecule and both increase with increasing Sr concentration.  相似文献

In this paper we report studies on a range of niobate based tungsten bronzes, with a view to analysing their potential as anode materials in SOFCs. Six systems were studied, (Sr1−xBax)0.6Ti0.2Nb0.8O3, Sr0.6−xLaxTi0.2+xNb0.8−xO3, (Sr0.4−xBax)Na0.2NbO3, (Ba1−xCax)0.6Ti0.2Nb0.8O3, Ba0.5−xAxNbO3 (A=Ca, Sr), and Ba0.3NbO2.8, and the electrical conductivities were examined over a range of oxygen partial pressures (10−20–1 bar). All the systems showed good conductivity in low oxygen partial pressures, with values as high as 8 S cm−1 at 930°C (P(O2)=10−20 bar). As the oxygen partial pressure was raised the conductivity dropped showing in most cases an approximate [P(O2)]−1/4 dependence and good re-oxidation kinetics. Of all the samples studied the (Sr1−xBax)0.6Ti0.2Nb0.8O3 and (Ba1−xCax)0.6Ti0.2Nb0.8O3 systems appear most promising for potential use as anode materials in SOFCs.  相似文献

Tracer diffusion of 18O in dense, polycrystalline La1−xSrxCoO3 for x = 0.1 has been measured in the temperature range 400 to 600 °C and at 500 °C for x = 0.2 at an oxygen partial pressure of 1 × 105 Pa. Depth profiles were obtained by secondary ion mass spectrometry. The diffusion coefficient for La0.9Sr0.1CoO3 is given by D = (17–247) exp[(−232 ± 8 kJ/mole)/RT] cm2/s. This value is several orders of magnitude lower than D extrapolated from the results for x = 0.2 measured in the 700–900 °C temperature range. One possible explanation for the discrepancy is that the two measurements reflect different diffusion paths. As expected, La0.8Sr0.2CoO3 exhibits a higher diffusivity at 500 °C than does La0.9Sr0.1CoO3.  相似文献

The mixed oxides BixEu1−xVO4 and BiyGd1−yVO4 crystallize in a zircon-type structure, for 0 <x < 0.6 and 0 < y < 0.64, and in a fergusonite-type structure, for 0.94 < x < 1 and 0.93 < y < 1. A process of competition between the dominant and the constrained effects of the lone-pair 6s2 of Bi3+ is discussed. The diffuse reflectance spectroscopic studies of these mixed oxides are presented. The observed broad bands are attributed to charge transfer processes and the sharp peaks in the BixEu1−xVO4 spectra are ascribed to intra-configurational 4f – 4ftransitions of the Eu3+ ion. The broad absorption shift in BiLnVO4 (Ln : Eu and Gd) compounds to the longer wavelengths range, when Bi is introduced in the LnVO4 lattice, is ascribed to charge transfer processes in a Bi-VO4 center and are interpreted assuming a Jahn-Teller effect in the excited state of Bi3+. The concept of an internal pressure of Bi3+ ions is also used to explain the broad A-band shifts.  相似文献

We study the nonresonant three-body decays of B+D(*)−sK+π+ and BdDs(*)−K0π+. We find that these decays can provide the information on the time-like form factors of D(*)sK. We also explicitly investigate BdDs(*)−K*+ decays by discriminating the nonresonant contributions with the unknown D(*)s wave functions being fixed by the measured mode of BdDsK+.  相似文献

Defect structures of the lanthanum-substituted PbWO4 prepared by mechanical alloying (MA) were investigated by means of powder neutron diffraction and FT-IR, to compare with that of the oxide ion conductive sintered samples. Neutron diffraction revealed that Pb1−xLaxWO4+x/2 prepared by MA possessed the lead site deficiency in the lattice. In addition, it was also found that occupation factors of the lead site were still smaller than the nominal value even for the mechanically alloyed Pb1−xLa2x/3WO4. The vacancy formation at the lead site of the mechanically alloyed Pb1−xLaxWO4+x/2 was also corroborated from the splitting of the absorption band around 800 cm−1 ascribed to the W–O stretching vibration of WO4 tetrahedron. At the end of this paper, the formation process of the lead site vacancy was discussed in the sintered Pb1−xLaxWO4+x/2 during milling.  相似文献

In order to understand the mechanism that gives rise to superconductivity in the ceramic superconductors of the type BaxK1 − xBiO3, we analyze the thermodynamic properties with the use of the Eliashberg equations. For these calculations we used the electron-phonon spectral density function 2(ω)F(ω), calculated by Shirai et al. A 19F-NMR investigation of the Pb1 − xAlxF2 + x (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.12) solid solution and of the ordered Pb9Al2F24 phase is undertaken as a function of temperature. Several F ion groups become progressively mobile at the NMR time scale at increasing temperature, the first, (Fi)pb and (Fn)pb, are located in the surroundings of Pb2+ cations, the second ones, (Frd)AI and (Fra)Al, in that of Al3+ cations. Four types of fluoride ions are distinguished in the 19F-NMR spectra of rigid lattice at low temperature (T = 175 K) and the distribution of fluoride ions among the four sites is determined by deconvolution of the spectra registered. The sites occupied by the (Fn)pb anions are identified with the normal anionic sites of the fluorite network, the others with different interstitial sites.  相似文献

Pr concentration dependence of the superconducting transition temperature Tc in the Ho1−xPrxBa2Cu3O7−δ system is determined from measurements of DC electrical resistance. This dependence coincides with that for the parallely studied Y1−xPrxBa2Cu3O7−δ reference system. Both systems have the same value of the critical concentration xc=0.58, in accordance with nearly equal ionic radii of Ho3+ and Y3+ ions. It has been shown that the Tc(x) curve can be described with a single mechanism based on a decreasing number of sheet holes trapped by PrIV-ions, if one takes also into account that the number of these ions changes with x.  相似文献
