MCM-41 and SBA-15 silica materials with spherical morphology and different particle sizes were synthesized and modified by post-synthesis method with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES). A comparative study of the adsorption and release of a model drug, ibuprofen, were carried out. The modified and drug loaded mesoporous materials were characterized by XRD, TEM, N2 physisorption, thermal analysis, elemental analysis and FT-IR spectroscopy. Surface modification with amino groups resulted in high degree of ibuprofen loading and slow rate of release for MCM-41, whereas it was the opposite for SBA-15. The adsorbed drug content and the delivery rate can be predetermined by the choice of mesoporous material with the appropriate structural characteristics and surface functionality.  相似文献

Hexagonally ordered mesoporous silica material MCM-41 (SBET?=?1090?m2/g, pore size?=?31.2 ?) was synthesized and modified by 3-aminopropyl ligands. The differences in an uptake and subsequent release of anti-inflammatory drug naproxen from unmodified and amino modified MCM-41 samples were studied. The prepared materials were characterized by high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), nitrogen adsorption/desorption, Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), thermoanalytical methods (TG/DTA) and elemental analysis. The amount of the drug released was monitored with thin layer chromatography (TLC) with densitometric detection in defined time intervals. The amounts of the released naproxen from mesoporous silica MCM-41/napro and amine-modified silica sample A-MCM-41/napro were 95 and 90% of naproxen after 72?h. In this study we compare the differences of release profiles from mesoporous silica MCM-41 and mesoporous silica SBA-15.  相似文献

As part of a recent research effort aimed at employing mesoporous materials for controlled drug delivery, this paper presents MCM-41 as a carrier for topical application, using Trolox as a model unstable guest molecule. The complexes between Trolox and MCM-41 were prepared by employing different inclusion procedures, varying solvent, method and pretreatment of the silica matrix. The objectives of this study were to determine Trolox loading, analyze its integrity and availability after immobilization on mesoporous silica, evaluate MCM-41 influence on Trolox photodegradation and establish whether the preparation method significantly influences complex properties. The characterization analyses (XRD, TGA, DSC and FTIR) confirmed the hydrogen-bonding interaction and Trolox structure preservation. Gas-volumetric analysis showed a consistent decrease in surface area and in pore volume and diameter with respect to bare MCM-41 indicating that Trolox was mainly located within mesopores. In vitro diffusion tests showed a slower release of Trolox after inclusion in the MCM-41 matrix; at the same time UV irradiation studies highlighted an increased photostability for the complex particularly in O/W emulsion. Moreover the radical scavenging activity of Trolox was maintained after immobilization. In all cases, differences were observed in all tested samples, suggesting that results could be optimized by modifying the inclusion procedure and by improving the guest loading.  相似文献

Doxycycline, an antibiotic from the tetracycline class with a broad spectrum of activity, was used to prepare drug delivery systems based on pristine and functionalized mesostructured silica supports. MCM-41-type materials with different textural, structural, and surface properties were used to assess their influence on the drug release kinetics. Small- and wide-angle XRD, FTIR spectroscopy and N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms were used to characterize the carriers before and after doxycycline loading. The drug release experiments were performed in vitro in 0.2 M phosphate buffer solution at 37 °C, and the slowest drug release kinetics was obtained for magnesium-modified MCM-41 carrier. All drug-loaded materials exhibited good antibacterial activity against Klebsiella pneumoniae ATCC 10031 strain, similar to the drug alone.  相似文献

With well bioactive and nontoxic, hydroxyapatite (HAp) was employed to seal the nanopores of mesoporous silica (MCM-41) to realize the pH-responsive controlled release. First, MCM-41 was modified with cationic polymer, poly-(diallyldimethylammoniumchloride) (PA). And after the addition of Ca2+/PO4 3?, HAp precipitation can take place based on the cationic sites derived from PA. It is a simple and effective way to obtain HAp coating MCM-41 system (MHAs). The structure of the system was characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, transmission electron microscope, N2 adsorption–desorption and so on. Metformin hydrochloride was used as the model drug, and the drug release performance and the release kinetics of the system were investigated in detail. Because of the degradation of HAp under acid condition, the drug loading MHAs showed a well pH-sensitive controlled release behavior. From above investigation, MHAs is a promising platform to construct a pH-responsive controlled drug delivery system, especially for some low pH tissues, such as inflammatory and tumor.  相似文献

The ordered bimodal mesoporous silica MCM-48 spheres were facile synthesized by mild-temperature post-synthesis H2O2 hydrothermal treatment of as-synthesized MCM-48. The results showed that H2O2 is indispensable for simultaneously removing organic templates and forming ordered bimodal mesoporous silica MCM-48 spheres. The bimodal mesoporous MCM-48 was characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron micrographs, FT-IR, and N2 adsorption-desorption, and a possible mechanism was proposed for the formation of bimodal mesoporous MCM-48.  相似文献

CO2 adsorption properties on Mg modified silica mesoporous materials were investigated. By using the methods of co-condensation, dispersion and ion-exchange, Mg2+ was introduced into SBA-15 and MCM-41, and transformed into MgO in the calcination process. The basic MgO can provide active sites to enhance the acidic CO2 adsorption capacity. To improve the amount and the dispersion state of the loading MgO, the optimized modification conditions were also investigated. The XRD and TEM characteristic results, as well as the CO2 adsorption performance showed that the CO2 adsorption capacity not only depended on the pore structures of MCM-41 and SBA-15, but also on the improvement of the dispersion state of MgO by modification. Among various Mg modified silica mesoporous materials, the CO2 adsorption capacity increased from 0.42 mmol g−1 of pure silica SBA-15 to 1.35 mmol g−1 of Mg–Al–SBA-15-I1 by the ion-exchange method enhanced with Al3+ synergism. Moreover, it also increased from 0.67 mmol g−1 of pure silica MCM-41 to 1.32 mmol g−1 of Mg–EDA–MCM-41-D10 by the dispersion method enhanced with the incorporation of ethane diamine. The stability test by 10 CO2 adsorption/desorption cycles showed Mg–urea–MCM-41-D10 possessed quite good recyclability.  相似文献

Different nanoporous silica materials, MCM-41, MCM-48 and SBA-15, were modified by pyridine and their applications for oral drug delivery system were evaluated. These pyridine functionalized nanoporous silicas were loaded with a water insoluble diorganotin(IV) dichloride complex as an antitumor drug model and its release from them were investigated by changing pH. An efficient pH-responsive carrier system was constructed by coordination of the pyridine group in modified nonoporous materials to tin complex. In vitro, releasing of loaded tin complex was studied in three different kinds of fluids, including a simulated gastric medium and a simulated body fluid. The loading and releasing of the diorganotin(IV) dichloride from various modified nanoporous silicas and also a non-porous silica (SiO2) were investigated, and the results were compared. In addition, the effect of some factors such as pH, time of loading and releasing were investigated through this study.  相似文献

Chitosan exhibits great versatility in various biomedical fields and mesoporous silica nanoparticles have emerged as an interesting material in biomedical areas owing to their outstanding physio-chemical properties. The combination of inorganic silica and organic polymer such as chitosan, make them suitable for a wide range of biomedical applications. Here, we have explored the benefits of chitosan and silica by synthesizing chitosan-silica nanohybrid. In the synthesis of chitosan-silica (CS–Si) nanohybrid, chitosan is modified by thioglycolic acid and mesoporous silica MCM-41(Mobil Composition of Matter number 41) is functionalized by 3-(trimethoxysilyl)-1-propane thiol (TMSP). The modified chitosan and thiol functionalized MCM-41(inorganic network) is then linked through disulfide bond by oxidation process or oxidative coupling, resulting in the formation of inorganic-organic hybrid material. The hybrid material was characterized by FTIR, Raman, XRD, TGA, Zeta potential, EDX, Proton NMR and SEM techniques. The antibacterial results indicated that gram-negative (E. coli) bacteria exhibit better inhibition zone than gram-positive (B. subtilis) bacteria. The DPPH scavenging capability of synthesized hybrid was found to be 68%. The drug (quercetin) encapsulation efficiency of hybrid material was calculated to be 92.38% and more drug releases in acidic medium (pH 5.0) than at pH 7.4, so we can conclude that hybrid material shows pH-dependent drug releasing behavior. The results show that synthesized nano-hybrid material possess good antibacterial and antioxidant activities and is also a good nanocarrier for drug delivery application.  相似文献

Polyoxometalates K7[α-PW11O39]·14H2O (PW11) modified mesoporous silica (MCM-48) with cubic structure, was prepared by impregnation and calcination methods. The modified mesoporous silica sorbent (PW11/MCM-48) was studied as a potential adsorbent for U(VI) from aqueous solutions. MCM-48 and PW11/MCM-48 were confirmed by X-ray diffraction and nitrogen physisorption techniques. The results indicate the original keggin structure of PW11 and mesoporous structure of MCM-48 are maintained after supporting PW11 on mesoporous silica MCM-48. The effects of contact time, solid-to-liquid ratio (m/V), solution pH and ionic strength on U(VI) sorption behaviors of the pure and modified mesoporous silicas were also studied. Typical sorption isotherms such as Langmuir and Freundlich isotherms were determined for sorption process. The results suggest that the sorption of U(VI) on MCM-48 or PW11/MCM-48 are strongly dependent on pH values but independent of ionic strength. The sorption capacity of PW11/MCM-48 for U(VI) is about ten times more than that of MCM-48.  相似文献

Dimethylsilyl (DMS) modified mesoporous silicas were successfully prepared via co-condensation and post-grafting modification methods. The post-grafting modification was carried out by the reaction of the as-synthesized MCM-41 material (before CTAB removal) with diethoxydimethylsinale (DEDMS). N2 adsorption-desorption and 29Si MAS NMR characterization demonstrated that different amount of DMS groups were successfully incorporated into the co-condensation modified samples, and the functional DMS groups were placed selectively on the pore openings and external pore surfaces in the post-grafting modified samples. Subsequently, the controlled drug delivery properties from the resulting DMS-modified mesoporous silicas were investigated in detail. The drug adsorption experiments showed that the adsorption capacities were mainly depended on the content of silanol group (CSG) in the corresponding carriers. The in vitro tests exhibited that the incorporation of DMS groups greatly retarded the ibuprofen release rate. Moreover, the ibuprofen release profiles could be well modulated by varying DMS modification levels and site-selective distribution of functional groups in mesoporous carriers.  相似文献

A multifunctional drug delivery system based on MCM-41-type mesoporous silica nanoparticles is described that behaves as if nanogates were covalently attached to the outlets of the mesopores through a highly acid-sensitive benzoic-imine linker. Tumor-specific uptake and intracellular delivery results from the pH-dependent progressive hydrolysis of the benzoic-imine linkage that starts at tumor extracellular pH = 6.8 and increases with decreasing pH. The cleavage of the benzoic-imine bond leads to the removal of the polypseudorotaxane caps and subsequent release of the payload drugs at tumor sites. At the same time, the carrier surface becomes positively charged, which further facilitates cellular uptake of the nanocarriers, thus offering a tremendous potential for targeted tumor therapy.  相似文献

MCM-41 mesoporous silica has been functionalized with two kinds of macrocylic calixarene derivatives Calix[4] and Calix[4]Br (Calix[4]=P-tert-butylcalix[4]arene, Calix[4]Br=5.11,17.23-tetra-tert-butyl-25.27-bihydroxy-26.28-bibromopropoxycalix[4]arene) through condensation approach of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) in the presence of the cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) surfactant as a template. Novel organic-inorganic mesoporous luminescent hybrid containing RE3+ (Eu3+, Tb3+) complexes covalently attached to the functionalized ordered mesoporous MCM-41, which are designated as RE-Calix[4]-MCM-41 and RE-Calix[4]Br-MCM-41, respectively, are obtained by sol-gel process. It is found that they all have high surface area, uniform in the mesostructure and good crystallinity. Measurement of the photoluminescence properties show the mesoporous material covalently bonded Tb3+ complexes (Tb-Calix[4]-MCM-41 and Tb-Calix[4]Br-MCM-41) exhibit the stronger characteristic emission of Tb3+ and longer lifetime than the corresponding Eu-containing materials Eu-Calix[4]-MCM-41 and Eu-Calix[4]Br-MCM-41 due to the triplet state energy of modified organic ligands Calix[4]-Si and Calix[4]Br-Si match with the emissive energy level of Tb3+ very well.  相似文献

采用原位本体聚合法制备PMMA/MCM-41(with template),PMMA/SBA-15(with template),PMMA/SiO2三种复合材料.

Mesoporous ZSM-5 was prepared from iron ore tailings (IOT) using a two-step process. Mesoporous MCM-41 was first synthesized using cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as mesoporous template and IOT as silica source. The CTAB in the as-synthesized MCM-41 was used as the mesoporogen to produce the mesoporous ZSM-5, by recrystallizing the amorphous walls of MCM-41 with tetrapropylammonium bromide (TPABr) as the structure-directing agent via solid-phase conversion. To evaluate the textural properties of mesoporous ZSM-5, the as-synthesized samples were characterized using x-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, 29Si, 27Al magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and nitrogen adsorption. The results show that phase separation between the surfactant and zeolite crystals was avoided in the solid-phase conversion process, which transforms the as-synthesized MCM-41 to mesoporous zeolite. Therefore, the synthetic route presented herein provides a novel method for the synthesis of mesoporous ZSM-5 from IOT.

Surface modification offers a great opportunity to adjust both the pore diameter and surface properties of MCM-41 type organic–inorganic hybrid materials which result in materials of improved hydrothermal and mechanical stability. Therefore, MCM-41 silica, surface modified with organic ligands, are promising systems with engineered properties and attractive for advanced applications. In the present study, after optimization of the reaction conditions highly ordered MCM-41 silica spheres with uniform mesopores were prepared by the pseudomorphic transformation route. The effect of functionality and alkyl chain length of the alkyl ligands during surface modification was probed by using butyl and octylsilanes with two different functionalities. Due to steric hindrance, the longer chains are assumed to bind only on the outer silica surface and near the entrance of the pores, while the shorter chains are also able to bind to the interior mesopore walls. The resulting materials were comprehensively characterized before and after surface modification using nitrogen sorption techniques, XRD, SEM, solid-state NMR spectroscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. From chromatographic test measurements it was found that the separation power primarily depends on surface coverage and alkyl chain length. On the basis of the present data, surface modified mesoporous silica of MCM-41 type are very promising candidates for future chromatographic applications.  相似文献

This paper described a facile and direct electrochemical method for the determination of ultra-trace Cu2+ by employing amino-functionalized mesoporous silica (NH2-MCM-41) as enhanced sensing platform. NH2-MCM-41 was prepared by using a post-grafting process and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. NH2-MCM-41 modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode showed higher sensitivity for anodic stripping voltammetric (ASV) detection of Cu2+ than that of MCM-41 modified one. The high sensitivity was attributed to synergistic effect between MCM-41 and amino-group, in which the high surface area and special mesoporous morphology of MCM-41 can cause strong physical absorption, and amino-groups are able to chelate copper ions. Some important parameters influencing the sensor response were optimized. Under optimum experimental conditions the sensor linearly responded to Cu2+ concentration in the range from 5 to 1000 ng L−1 with a detection limit of 0.9 ng L−1 (S/N = 3). Moreover, the sensor possessed good stability and electrode renewability. In the end, the proposed sensor was applied for determining Cu2+ in real samples and the accuracy of the results were comparable to those obtained by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) method.  相似文献

A new method has been developed for the preparation of sulfated titania (S-TiO2) supported on mesoporous silica. The use of direct exchange of metal containing precursors for the surfactants in the as-synthesized MCM-41 substrate produced a product with high sulfur content without serious blockage of the pore structure of MCM-41. The pore sizes and volumes of the resultant S-TiO2/MCM-41 composites were found to vary markedly with the loading of TiO2. The strong acidic character of the composites obtained was examined by using them as catalysts for the esterification of acetic acid and n-butanol.  相似文献

Four amine functionalized mesoporous catalysts were synthesized by grafting primary, dualistic and two secondary amines onto the channel walls of mesoporous silica, MCM-41. We examined the effects of organoamine loading amount on the acid-base synergism of the catalysts in the self-condensation reaction of n-butanal, a Knoevenagel condensation and a Henry reaction. We observed the balance of the amine and residual silanol amounts is crucial to the catalytic performances of the functionalized mesoporous catalysts. An optimum organoamine loading amount exists, which is dependent on the organoamine type. There is little difference in the optimum organoamine loading amount between different reactions. The secondary organoamine functionalized MCM-41 exhibits the best catalytic performance in the experimental range.  相似文献
