This study presents new data on nucleate boiling heat transfer obtained in compact horizontal tube bundles with small tube gaps. The experiment investigates the heat transfer enhancement effects by the restricted spaces comprising the compact tube bundles and the enhanced heat transfer tubes for nucleate boiling heat transfer of R-11 at atmospheric pressure. A roll-worked tube was used as a new type of enhanced heat transfer tube. The experimental results show that the small tube gaps can greatly enhance boiling heat transfer in a smooth tube bundle, while enhancement effects of small gaps were not quite significant for the enhanced tube bundle. There is a compound effect from the enhanced surface and the restricted space only for the enhanced tube bundle with the tube gap of 0.5 mm. The effects of the tube positions within both compact tube bundles on the boiling heat transfer were minor. 相似文献

For vector bundles having an involution on the base space, Hermitian-like structures are defined in terms of such an involution. We prove a universality theorem for suitable self-involutive reproducing kernels on Hermitian-like vector bundles. This result relies on pullback operations involving the tautological bundle on the Grassmann manifold of a Hilbert space and exhibits the aforementioned reproducing kernels as pullbacks of universal reproducing kernels that live on the Hermitian-like tautological bundle. To this end we use a certain type of classifying morphisms, which are geometric versions of the coherent state maps from quantum theory. As a consequence of that theorem, we obtain some differential geometric properties of these reproducing kernels in this setting. 相似文献

传统的线束串扰模型只是在系统内共模激励的基础上建立的, 没有考虑系统间差模激励下线束串扰的情况. 针对差模激励下系统独立回路间线束串扰的物理问题, 提出了一种基于多导体传输线理论的差模激励新型线束串扰的计算方法.该方法根据差模激励下线间的耦合机理, 利用传输线传播横向电磁模式得到新型三导体传输线寄生参数电路及数学矩阵模型, 通过镜像法以及诺埃曼公式推导出寄生参数的计算公式, 并在频域内得到新型线束串扰的链参数矩阵方程, 根据新型差模串扰模型始端、终端边界条件最终得到串扰电压的频域解.以差模激励下平行双线回路对其他回路受扰线的串扰为例, 通过仿真受扰线不同布置情况下的串扰电压, 得到了差模激励源的线束间串扰的物理规律, 即受扰线位于差模回路之间时所受的串扰要远大于位于回路外时所受的串扰, 并验证所提出的模型及方法可以计算不同频率差模激励引起的干扰. 利用解析的方法解决了线束串扰中差模激励下的导线串扰问题, 为实际中如大量导线的捆扎以及导线干扰的预测等电磁兼容问题提供了理论依据, 具有指导意义, 完善了多导体传输线理论在线束串扰中的应用. 相似文献

The atomic structure of single-wall carbon nanotube bundles produced by three different techniques (laser ablation, electric
arc discharge and catalytic chemical vapor deposition (CCVD)) has been characterized by electron diffraction and microscopy.
Information on the helicity and the lattice packing has been obtained. Concerning the helicity, small bundles produced by
CCVD exhibit only one or two tube helicities within a single bundle. The diffraction patterns of laser-ablation produced bundles
also present well-defined but more diversified chiralities within a single bundle. By contrast the data acquired on bundles
formed by arc discharge show a more diffuse pattern, characteristic of a random chirality dispersion within a single bundle.
Concerning the lattice packing, informations are obtained via a detailed study of the equatorial line of the diffraction pattern for bundles produced by the three techniques. This electron
diffraction study is completed by high-resolution electron microscopy.

In terms of single-atom induced dipole moment by Lewenstein model, we present the macroscopic high-order harmonic generation from mixed He and Ne gases with different mixture ratios by solving three-dimensional Maxwell's equation of harmonic field. And then we show the validity of mixture formulation by Wagner et al. [Phys. Rev. A 76 (2007) 061403(R)] in macroscopic response level. In a previous paper [J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 121, 3386-3387 (2007)], a self-consistent effective medium theory has been used to account for hydrodynamic interactions between neighboring rigid particles, which considerably affect the sound propagation in concentrated solutions. However, spatial correlations were completely left out in this model. They correspond to the fact that the presence of one particle at a given position locally affects the location of the other ones. In the present work, the importance of such correlations is demonstrated within a certain frequency range and particle concentration. For that purpose, spatial correlations are integrated in our two-phase formulation by using a closure scheme similar to the one introduced by Spelt et al. ['Attenuation of sound in concentrated suspensions theory and experiments," J. Fluid Mech. 430, 51-86 (2001)]. Then, the effect is shown through a careful comparison of the results obtained with this model, the ones obtained with different self-consistent approximations and the experiments performed by Hipp et al. ["Acoustical characterization of concentrated suspensions and emulsions. 2. Experimental validation," Langmuir, 18, 391-404 (2002)]. With the present formulation, an excellent agreement is reached for all frequencies (within the limit of the long wavelength regime) and for concentrations up to 30% without any adjustable parameter. 相似文献

We report on length statistics measured for bubbles in the equilibrium bamboo state, achieved by the coarsening of aqueous foam in long cylindrical tubes, such that the soap films are all flat and perpendicular to the axis of the tube. The average bubble length is found to be 0.88 times the tube diameter, independent of variation of the liquid filling fraction by a factor of nearly three. The actual distribution is well-approximated by a shifted Rayleigh form, with a minimum bubble size of 0.28 tube diameters. And, perhaps surprisingly, no correlations are found in the lengths of neighboring bubbles. The observed length distribution agrees with that of Fortes et al. for short bubbles, but not for long bubbles. 相似文献

The results of an experimental investigation of staggered tube bundle heat transfer to upward and downward moving vertical foam flow are presented in this article. It was determined that a dependency exists between tube bundle heat transfer intensity on foam volumetric void fraction, foam flow velocity and direction, and liquid drainage from foam. In addition to this, the influence of tube position of the bundle on heat transfer was investigated. Results of an experimental investigation of the two-phase wall shear stress averaged over the tube perimeter and the pulsation
of wall shear stress in a stimulated ascendant flow with monodisperse bubbles with an average diameter of 1.2 and 2.2 mm are
presented. Regimes with various hydrodynamic parameters such as high shear stress on the wall, low and negative wall shear
stress, a high level of shear stress pulsation on the wall, and possible decrease in this level of pulsation are found. An
increase in the void gas fraction results in a monotonic increase of perturbation of the single-phase flow. The dependences
of the ratio of two-phase and single-phase wall shear stresses for two average bubble diameters seem to be qualitatively similar.
The analysis of data revealed a complex dependence of the shear stress pulsation on the bubble diameter. The averaged flow
characteristics quantitatively change upon the decrease in the bubble diameter. A further decrease in the average bubble diameter
at the same void gas fraction will probably increase the heat-and mass-transfer characteristics of the flow. This is an issue

In the paper of Bonora et al. (2008) [3] we have shown, in the context of type II superstring theory, the classification of the allowed B-field and A-field configurations in the presence of anomaly-free D-branes, the mathematical framework being provided by the geometry of gerbes. Here we complete the discussion considering in detail the case of a stack of D-branes, carrying a non-abelian gauge theory, which was just sketched in Bonora et al. (2008) [3]. In this case we have to mix the geometry of abelian gerbes, describing the B-field, with the one of higher-rank bundles, ordinary or twisted. We describe in detail the various cases that arise according to such a classification, as we did for a single D-brane, showing under which hypotheses the A-field turns out to be a connection on a canonical gauge bundle. We also generalize to the non-abelian setting the discussion about “gauge bundles with non-integral Chern classes”, relating them to twisted bundles with connection. Finally, we analyze the geometrical nature of the Wilson loop for each kind of gauge theory on a D-brane or stack of D-branes. 相似文献
