The compounds (NC(12)H(8)(NH)(2))[Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)], Ln = Y, Tb, Yb, and [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)][Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)](N(3)C(12)H(9))(2), with Ln = La, Sm, Eu, were obtained by reactions of the group 3 metals yttrium and lanthanum as well as the lanthanides europium, samarium, terbium, and ytterbium with 2-(2-pyridyl)-benzimidazole. The reactions were carried out in melts of the amine without any solvent and led to two new groups of homoleptic rare earth pyridylbenzimidazolates. The trivalent rare earth atoms have an eightfold nitrogen coordination of four chelating pyridylbenzimidazolates giving an ionic structure with either pyridylbenzimidazolium or [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)](+) counterions. With Y, Eu, Sm, and Yb, single crystals were obtained whereas the La- and Tb-containing compounds were identified by powder methods. The products were investigated by X-ray single crystal or powder diffraction and MIR and far-IR spectroscopy, and with DTA/TG regarding their thermal behavior. They are another good proof of the value of solid-state reaction methods for the formation of homoleptic pnicogenides of the lanthanides. Despite their difference in the chemical formula, both types (NC(12)H(8)(NH)(2))[Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)], Ln = Y (1), Tb (2), Yb (3), and [Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(2)(N(3)C(12)H(9))(2)][Ln(N(3)C(12)H(8))(4)](N(3)C(12)H(9))(2), Ln = La (4), Sm (5), Eu (6), crystallize isotypic in the tetragonal space group I4(1). Crystal data for (1): T = 170(2) K, a = 1684.9(1) pm, c = 3735.0(3) pm, V = 10603.5(14) x 10(6) pm(3), R1 for F(o) > 4sigma(F(o)) = 0.053, wR2 = 0.113. Crystal data for (3): T = 170(2) K, a = 1683.03(7) pm, c = 3724.3(2) pm, V = 10549.4(14) x 10(6) pm(3), R1 for F(o) > 4sigma(F(o)) = 0.047, wR2 = 0.129. Crystal data for (5): T = 103(2) K, a = 1690.1(2) pm, c = 3759.5(4) pm, V = 10739(2) x 10(6) pm(3), R1 for F(o) > 4sigma(F(o)) = 0.050, wR2 = 0.117. Crystal data for (6): T = 170(2) K, a = 1685.89(9) pm, c = 3760.0(3) pm, V = 10686.9(11) x 10(6) pm(3), R1 for F(o) > 4sigma(F(o)) = 0.060, wR2 = 0.144.  相似文献

The isolation, crystal structure, and nonaqueous solution characteristics of the first trinuclear vanadate are presented. The crystal structure reveals a six-membered cyclic arrangement of alternating vanadium and oxygen atoms for the anion of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)). The (51)V NMR spectrum of this compound in CD(3)CN exhibits multiple peaks. The relative intensities of each resonance can be altered by concentration and temperature changes, the later of which are reversible. Addition of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N]Br and NaClO(4) also perturbs the equilibria between species observed. Conductivity data for [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) in CH(3)CN as a function of concentration display pronounced curvature and indicate formation of a neutral species in solution at the highest concentrations studied. Stoichiometric mixtures of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) with the known vanadates [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(HV(4)O(12)), [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(5)O(14)), and [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(H(3)V(10)O(28)) are prepared and examined by (51)V NMR. Equilibration between the various vanadates is observed and characterized. Resonances for these known vanadates, however, cannot be used to identify the peaks found for [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)), alone, in solution. The existence of ion pairs in acetonitrile is the only interpretation for the solution behavior of [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) consistent with all data. As such, we can directly observe each possible ion pairing state by (51)V NMR: (V(3)O(9))(3-) at -555 ppm, [[(C(4)H(9))(4)N](V(3)O(9))] (2-) at -569 ppm, [[(C(4)H(9))(4)N](2)(V(3)O(9))](-) at -576 ppm, and [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) at -628 ppm. To the best of our knowledge, [(C(4)H(9))(4)N](3)(V(3)O(9)) presents the first case in which every possible ion paired state can be observed directly from a parent polyion. Isolation and characterization of this simple metal oxo moiety may now facilitate efforts to design functional polyoxometalates.  相似文献

Two air-sensitive dinuclear iron(II) complexes, K[Fe(II)(2)(L(1))(SCN)(4)]·2(C(3)H(8)O) (1) and [Fe(II)(2)(L(1))(SeCN)(3)(C(5)H(5)N)]·H(2)O (2), of 3,5-bis[N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)aminomethyl]-1H-pyrazolate [(L(1))(-)] have been prepared. Interestingly, complex 1 is anionic, featuring four coordinated SCN(-) anions and a potassium counterion whereas complex 2 is neutral, containing a coordinated pyridine molecule and only three coordinated SeCN(-) anions. These are the first iron complexes reported for this type of ligand. Magnetic measurements and M?ssbauer spectra show that both 1 and 2 are in a '[HS-LS]' mixed spin state between 300 and 2 K.  相似文献

Treatment of [(C(5)Me(5))(2)YH](2), 1, with KC(8) under N(2) in methylcyclohexane generates the unsolvated reduced dinitrogen complex, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 2, and extends the range of yttrium and lanthanide LnZ(2)Z'/M (Z = monoanion; M = alkali metal) dinitrogen reduction reactions to (Z')(-) = (H)(-). The hydride complex, 1, is unique in this reactivity compared to other alkane-soluble yttrium metallocenes, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)YX](x) {X = [N(SiMe(3))(2)](-), (Me)(-), (C(3)H(5))(-), and (C(5)Me(5))(-)} which did not generate 2 when treated with KC(8). [(C(5)Me(5))(2)LnH](x)/KC(8)/N(2) reactions with Ln = La and Lu did not give isolable dinitrogen complexes. Complex 2 and the unsolvated lutetium analogue, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Lu](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 3, were obtained using benzene as a solvent and [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Ln][(μ-Ph)(2)BPh(2)] as precursors with excess KC(8). Complex 2 functions as a reducing agent with PhSSPh to form [(C(5)Me(5))(2)Y(μ-SPh)](2), 4, in high yield.  相似文献

Rate constants k(ex) and volumes of activation deltaV(ex) have been obtained using (1)H NMR for the self-exchange reaction of the [(eta(5)-C(5)(CH(3))(5))(2)Fe](+) hexafluorophosphate and tetrafluoroborate with [(eta(5)-C(5)(CH(3))(5))(2)Fe] in acetone-d(6) (deltaV(ex) = -8.6 +/- 0.3 cm(3) mol(-)(1)), dichloromethane-d(2), and (semiquantitatively) in acetonitrile-d(3). Under the experimental conditions, ion pairing was significant only in CD(2)Cl(2), but even that produced only a minor reduction in k(ex) and so had a negligible effect on deltaV(ex) ( = -6.4 +/- 0.2 cm(3) mol(-)(1) with PF(6)(-)). In all cases, deltaV(ex) is negative and consistent with a simple two-sphere activation model, rather than with that of Weaver et al. (Nielson, R. M.; McManis, G. E.; Safford, L. K.; Weaver, M. J. J. Phys. Chem. 1989, 93, 2152) in which the barrier crossing rate is limited by solvent dynamics. Similarly, the approximately 5-fold increase in k(ex) on going from [(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))(2)Fe](+/0) to [(eta(5)-C(5)(CH(3))(5))(2)Fe](+/0) in acetone can be explained with the two-sphere model on the basis of the effects of reactant size on the solvent reorganization energy, without reference to solvent dynamics.  相似文献

The iron complexes of a designed pentadentate Schiff base ligand N,N-bis(2-pyridylmethyl)amine-N-ethyl-2-pyridine-2-aldimine (SBPy(3)) have been synthesized. The low-spin mononuclear Fe(III) complex [(SBPy(3))Fe(DMF)](ClO(4))(3) (2), though stable in the solid state, is spontaneously reduced to the corresponding Fe(II) species [(SBPy(3))Fe(MeCN)](2+) in MeCN. Fe(II) complex [(SBPy(3))Fe(MeCN)](BF(4))(2) (3) has been isolated independently and characterized by crystallography. Electrochemical studies indicate that SBPy(3), like other pentadentate polypyridine ligands, stabilizes the Fe(II) center to a great extent (E(1/2) = 1.01 V vs SCE in MeCN). This fact is responsible for the ready reduction of 2. It is evident that such reactivity has brought complications in the syntheses of iron complexes of polypyridine ligands reported in previous accounts. Very low solubility of 2 in MeOH has allowed isolation of analytically pure 2 in the present work. Storage of dilute methanolic solution of 2 results in the formation of the mu-oxo Fe(III) dimer [(SBPy(3))FeOFe(SBPy(3))](ClO(4))(4) (5), the structure of which has also been determined. Fe(II) complex 3 reacts with CN(-) to afford cyanide adduct [(SBPy(3))Fe(CN)](BF(4)) (4) but does not exhibit any reactivity toward NO. The azomethine moiety (CH=N-py) of 2 is rapidly oxidized by H(2)O(2) to a pyridine-2-carboxamido (C(=O)-N-py) unit and affords [(PaPy(3))Fe(MeCN)](ClO(4))(2) (1), a complex previously reported by us.  相似文献

A new series of group 5 metal amides have been prepared from the reaction between V(NMe(2))(4) or M(NMe(2))(5) (M = Nb, Ta) and chiral ligands, (R)-2,2'-bis(mesitoylamino)-1,1'-binaphthyl (1H(2)), (R)-5,5',6,6',7,7',8,8'-octahydro-2,2'-bis(mesitoylamino)-1,1'-binaphthyl (2H(2)), (R)-6,6'-dimethyl-2,2'-bis(mesitoylamino)-1,1'-biphenyl (3H(2)), (R)-2,2'-bis(mesitylenesulfonylamino)-6,6'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl (4H(2)), (R)-2,2'-bis(diphenylthiophosphoramino)-1,1'-binaphthyl (5H(2)), (R)-2,2'-bis[(3-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino]-6,6'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl (6H(2)), (R)-2,2'-bis[(3,5-di-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino]-6,6'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl (7H(2)), (R)-2,2'-bis[(3-tert-butyl-2-hydroxybenzylidene)amino]-1,1'-binaphthyl (8H(2)), (S)-2-(mesitoylamino)-2'-(dimethylamino)-1,1'-binaphthyl (9H), and (R)-2-(mesitoylamino)-2'-(dimethylamino)-6,6'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl (10H), which are derived from (R) or (S)-2,2'-diamino-1,1'-binaphthyl, and (R)-2,2'-diamino-6,6'-dimethyl-1,1'-biphenyl, respectively. Treatment of V(NMe(2))(4) or M(NMe(2))(5) (M = Nb, Ta) with 1 equiv of C(2)-symmetric amidate ligands 1H(2), 2H(2), 3H(2), 4H(2), and 5H(2), or Schiff base ligands 6H(2), 7H(2) and 8H(2) at room temperature gives, after recrystallization from a benzene, toluene or n-hexane solution, the vanadium amides (1)V(NMe(2))(2) (11), (2)V(NMe(2))(2) (14), (3)V(NMe(2))(2) (17), (5)V(NMe(2))(2) (22), (6)V(NMe(2))(2) (23) and (7)V(NMe(2))(2) (24), and niobium amides (1)Nb(NMe(2))(3) (12), (2)Nb(NMe(2))(3) (15), (3)Nb(NMe(2))(3) (18), (4)Nb(NMe(2))(3) (20) and [2-(3-Me(3)C-2-O-C(6)H(3)CHN)-2'-(N)-C(20)H(12)][2-(Me(2)N)(2)CH-6-CMe(3)-C(6)H(3)O]NbNMe(2)·C(7)H(8) (25·C(7)H(8)), and tantalum amides (1)Ta(NMe(2))(3) (13), (2)Ta(NMe(2))(3) (16), (3)Ta(NMe(2))(3) (19) and (4)Ta(NMe(2))(3) (21) respectively, in good yields. Reaction of V(NMe(2))(4) or M(NMe(2))(5) (M = Nb, Ta) with 2 equiv of C(1)-symmetric amidate ligands 9H or 10H at room temperature gives, after recrystallization from a toluene or n-hexane solution, the chiral bis-ligated vanadium amides (9)(2)V(NMe(2))(2)·3C(7)H(8) (27·3C(7)H(8)) and (10)V(NMe(2))(2) (28), and chiral bis-ligated metallaaziridine complexes (10)(2)M(NMe(2))(η(2)-CH(2)NMe) (M = Nb (29), Ta (30)) respectively, in good yields. The niobium and tantalum amidate complexes are stable in a toluene solution at or below 160 °C, while the vanadium amidate complexes degrade via diemthylamino group elimination at this temperature. For example, heating the complex (2)V(NMe(2))(2) (14) in toluene at 160 °C for four days leads to the isolation of the complex [(2)V](2)(μ-NMe(2))(2) (26) in 58% yield. These new complexes have been characterized by various spectroscopic techniques, and elemental analyses. The solid-state structures of complexes 12, 13, and 15-30 have further been confirmed by X-ray diffraction analyses. The vanadium amides are active chiral catalysts for the asymmetric hydroamination/cyclization of aminoalkenes, affording cyclic amines in moderate to good yields with good ee values (up to 80%), and the tantalum amides are outstanding chiral catalysts for the hydroaminoalkylation, giving chiral secondary amines in good yields with excellent ee values (up to 93%).  相似文献

The iron mixed-valence complex (n-C(3)H(7))(4)N[Fe(II)Fe(III)(dto)(3)] exhibits a novel type of phase transition called charge-transfer phase transition (CTPT), where the thermally induced electron transfer between Fe(II) and Fe(III) occurs reversibly at ~120 K, in addition to the ferromagnetic phase transition at T(C) = 7 K. To investigate the mechanism of the CTPT, we have synthesized a series of magnetically diluted complexes (n-C(3)H(7))(4)N[Fe(II)(1-x)Zn(II)(x)Fe(III)(dto)(3)] (dto = C(2)O(2)S(2); x = 0-1), and carried out magnetic susceptibility and dielectric constant measurements and (57)Fe M?ssbauer spectroscopy. With increasing Zn(II) concentration (x), the CTPT is gradually suppressed and disappears at x ≈ 0.13. On the other hand, the ferromagnetic transition temperature (T(C)) is initially enhanced from 7 K to 12 K between x = 0.00 and 0.05, despite the nonmagnetic nature of Zn(II) ions, and then it decreases monotonically from 12 K to 3 K with increasing Zn(II) concentration. This anomalous dependence of T(C) on Zn(II) concentration is related to a change in the spin configuration of the ferromagnetic state caused by the partial suppression of the CTPT.  相似文献

Manual grinding of the organometallic complex [Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(2)] with a number of solid bases, namely 1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane, C(6)H(12)N(2), 1,4-phenylenediamine, p-(NH(2))(2)C(6)H(4), piperazine, HN(C(2)H(4))(2)NH, trans-1,4-cyclohexanediamine, p-(NH(2))(2)C(6)H(10), and guanidinium carbonate [(NH(2))(3)C](2)[CO(3)], generates quantitatively the corresponding adducts, [HC(6)H(12)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)] (1), [HC(6)H(8)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)] (2), [H(2)C(4)H(10)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)(2)] (3), [H(2)C(6)H(14)N(2)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)(2)].2 H(2)O, (4.2 H(2)O), and [C(NH(2))(3)](2)[Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)(2)].2 H(2)O, (5.2 H(2)O), respectively. Crystallization from methanol in the presence of seeds of the ground sample allows the growth of single crystals of these adducts; therefore we were able to determine the structures of the adducts by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. This information was used in turn to identify and characterize the polycrystalline materials obtained by the grinding process. In the case of [HC(6)N(2)H(12)][Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COOH)(eta(5)-C(5)H(4)COO)] (1), the base can be removed by mild treatment regenerating the starting dicarboxylic acid, while in all other cases decomposition is observed. The solid-solid processes described herein imply molecular diffusion through the lattice, breaking and reassembling of hydrogen-bonded networks, and proton transfer from acid to base.  相似文献

[{mu-(Pyridazine-N(1):N(2))}Fe(2)(mu-CO)(CO)(6)](1) reacts with aryllithium reagents, ArLi (Ar = C(6)H(5), m-CH(3)C(6)H(4)) followed by treatment with Me(3)SiCl to give the novel pyridazine-coordinated diiron bridging siloxycarbene complexes [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2){mu-C(OSiMe(3))Ar}(CO)(6)](2, Ar = C(6)H(5); 3, Ar =m-CH(3)C(6)H(4)). Complex 2 reacts with HBF(4).Et(2)O at low temperature to yield a cationic bridging carbyne complex [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2)(mu-CC(6)H(5))(CO)(6)]BF(4)(4). Cationic 4 reacts with NaBH(4) in THF at low temperature to afford the diiron bridging arylcarbene complex [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2){mu-C(H)C(6)H(5)}(CO)(6)](5). Unexpectedly, the reaction of 4 with NaSCH(3) under similar conditions gave the bridging arylcarbene complex 5 and a carbonyl-coordinated diiron bridging carbene complex [Fe(2){mu-C(SCH(3))C(6)H(5)}(CO)(7)](6), while the reaction of NaSC(6)H(4)CH(3)-p with 4 affords the expected bridging arylthiocarbene complex [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2){mu-C(SC(6)H(4)CH(3)-p)C(6)H(5)}(CO)(6)](7), which can be converted into a novel diiron bridging carbyne complex with a thiolato-bridged ligand, [Fe(2)(mu-CC(6)H(5))(mu-SC(6)H(4)CH(3)-p)(CO)(6)](8). Cationic can also react with the carbonylmetal anionic compound Na(2)[Fe(CO)(4)] to yield complex 5, while the reactions of 4 with carbonylmetal anionic compounds Na[M(CO)(5)(CN)](M = Cr, Mo, W) produce the diiron bridging aryl(pentacarbonylcyanometal)carbene complexes [(C(4)H(4)N(2))Fe(2)-{mu-C(C(6)H(5))NCM(CO)(5)}(CO)(6)](9, M = Cr; 10, M = Mo; 11, M = W). The structures of complexes 2, 5, 6, 8, and 9 have been established by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The synthesis of a penta(1-methylpyrazole)ferrocenyl phosphine oxide ligand (1) [Fe(C(5)(C(3)H(2)N(2)CH(3))(5))(C(5)H(4)PO(t-C(4)H(9))(2))] is reported together with its X-ray crystal structure. Its self-assembly behavior with a dirhodium(II) tetraoctanoate linker (2) [Rh(2)(O(2)CC(7)H(15))(4)] was investigated for construction of fullerene-like assemblies of composition [(ligand)(12)(linker)(30)]. Reaction between 1 and 2 in acetonitrile resulted in the formation of a light purple precipitate (3). Evidence for the ligand-to-linker ratio of 1:2.5 expected for a fullerene-like structure [Fe(C(5)(C(3)H(2)N(2)CH(3))(5))(C(5)H(4)PO(t-C(4)H(9))(2))](12)[Rh(2)(O(2)CC(7)H(15))(4)](30) was obtained from (1)H NMR and elemental analysis. IR and Raman studies confirmed the diaxially bound coordination environment of the dirhodium linker by comparing the stretching frequencies of the carboxylate group and the rhodium-rhodium bond with those in model compound (5), [Rh(2)(O(2)CC(7)H(15))(4)](C(3)H(3)N(2)CH(3))(2), the bis-adduct of linker 2 with 1-methylpyrazole. X-ray powder diffraction and molecular modeling studies provide additional support for the formation of a spherical molecule topologically identical to fullerene with a diameter of approximately 38 ? and a molecular formula of [(1)(12)(2)(30)]. Dissolution of 3 in tetrahydrofuran (THF) followed by layering with acetonitrile afforded purple crystals of [(1)(2)(2)](∞) (6) [Fe(C(5)(C(3)H(2)N(2)CH(3))(5))(C(5)H(4)PO(t-C(4)H(9))(2))][Rh(2)(O(2)CC(7)H(15))(4)](2) with a two-dimensional polymeric structure determined by X-ray crystallography. The dirhodium linkers link ferrocenyl units by coordination to the pyrazoles but only four of the five pyrazole moieties of the pentapyrazole ligand are coordinated. The ligand-to-linker ratio of 1:2 in 6 was confirmed by (1)H NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis, while results from IR and Raman are in agreement with the diaxially coordinated environment of the linker observed in the solid state.  相似文献

The carbophosphazene and cyclophosphazene hydrazides, [{NC(N(CH(3))(2))}(2){NP{N(CH(3))NH(2)}(2)}] (1) and [N(3)P(3)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2){N(CH(3))NH(2)}(2)] were condensed with o-vanillin to afford the multisite coordination ligands [{NC(N(CH(3))(2))}(2){NP{N(CH(3))N═CH-C(6)H(3)-(o-OH)(m-OCH(3))}(2)}] (2) and [{N(2)P(2)(O(2)C(12)H(8))(2)}{NP{N(CH(3))N═CH-C (6)H(3)-(o-OH)(m-OCH(3))}(2)}] (3), respectively. These ligands were used for the preparation of heterometallic complexes [{NC(N(CH(3))(2))}(2){NP{N(CH(3))N═CH-C(6)H(3)-(o-O)(m-OCH(3))}(2)}{CuCa(NO(3))(2)}] (4), [{NC(N(CH(3))(2))}(2){NP{N(CH(3))N═CH-C(6)H(3)-(o-O)(m-OCH(3))}(2)}{Cu(2)Ca(2)(NO(3))(4)}]·4H(2)O (5), [{NC(N(CH(3))(2))}(2){NP{N(CH(3))N═CH-C(6)H(3)-(o-O)(m-OCH(3))}(2)}{CuDy(NO(3))(4)}]·CH(3)COCH(3) (6), [{NP(O(2)C(12)H(8))}(2){NP{N(CH(3))N═CH-C(6)H(3)-(o-O)(m-OCH(3))}(2)}{CuDy(NO(3))(3)}] (7), and [{NP(O(2)C(12)H(8))}(2){NP{N(CH(3))N═CH-C(6)H(3)-(o-O)(m-OCH(3))}(2)}{CuTb(NO(3))(3)}] (8). The molecular structures of these compounds reveals that the ligands 2 and 3 possess dual coordination pockets which are used to specifically bind the transition metal ion and the alkaline earth/lanthanide metal ion; the Cu(2+)/Ca(2+), Cu(2+)/Tb(3+), and Cu(2+)/Dy(3+) pairs in these compounds are brought together by phenoxide and methoxy oxygen atoms. While 4, 6, 7, and 8 are dinuclear complexes, 5 is a tetranuclear complex. Detailed magnetic properties on 6-8 reveal that these compounds show weak couplings between the magnetic centers and magnetic anisotropy. However, the ac susceptibility experiments did not reveal any out of phase signal suggesting that in these compounds slow relaxation of magnetization is absent above 1.8 K.  相似文献

Piperidinium 9H-fluorene-9-carbodithioate and its 2,7-di-tert-butyl-substituted analogue [(pipH)(S(2)CCH(C(12)H(6)R(2)-2,7)), R = H (1a), t-Bu (1b)] and 2,7-bis(octyloxy)-9H-fluorene-9-carbodithioic acid [HS(2)CCH(C(12)H(6)(OC(8)H(17))(2)-2,7), 2] and its tautomer [2,7-bis(octyloxy)fluoren-9-ylidene]methanedithiol [(HS)(2)C=C(C(12)H(6)(OC(8)H(17))(2)-2,7), 3] were employed for the preparation of gold complexes with the (fluoren-9-ylidene)methanedithiolato ligand and its substituted analogues. The gold(I) compounds Q(2)[Au(2)(mu-kappa(2)-S,S-S(2)C=C(C(12)H(6)R(2)-2,7))(2)], where Q(+) = PPN(+) or Pr(4)N(+) for R = H (Q(2)4a) or Q(+) = Pr(4)N(+) for R = OC(8)H(17) [(Pr(4)N)(2)4c], were synthesized by reacting Q[AuCl(2)] with 1a or 2 (1:1) and excess piperidine or diethylamine. Complexes of the type [(Au(PR'3))(2)(mu-kappa(2)-S,S-S(2)C=C(C(12)H(6)R(2)-2,7))(2)] with R = H and R' = Me (5a), Et (5b), Ph (5c), and Cy (5d) or R = t-Bu and R' = Me (5e), Et (5f), Ph (5g), and Cy (5h) were obtained by reacting [AuCl(PR'(3))] with 1a,b (1:2) and piperidine. The reactions of 1a,b or 2 with Q[AuCl(4)] (2:1) and piperidine or diethylamine gave Q[Au(kappa(2)-S,S-S(2)C=C(C(12)H(6)R(2)-2,7))(2)] with Q(+) = PPN(+) for R = H [(PPN)6a], Q(+) = PPN(+) or Bu(4)N(+) for R = t-Bu (Q6b), and Q(+) = Bu(4)N(+) for R = OC(8)H(17) [(Bu(4)N)6c]. Complexes Q6a-c reacted with excess triflic acid to give [Au(kappa(2)-S,S-S(2)C=C(C(12)H(6)R(2)-2,7))(kappa(2)-S,S-S(2)CCH(C(12)H(6)R(2)-2,7))] [R = H (7a), t-Bu (7b), OC(8)H(17) (7c)]. By reaction of (Bu(4)N)6b with PhICl(2) (1:1) the complex Bu(4)N[AuCl(2)(kappa(2)-S,S-S(2)C=C(C(12)H(6)(t-Bu)(2)-2,7))] [(Bu(4)N)8b] was obtained. The dithioato complexes [Au(SC(S)CH(C(12)H(8)))(PCy(3))] (9) and [Au(n)(S(2)CCH(C(12)H(8)))(n)] (10) were obtained from the reactions of 1a with [AuCl(PCy(3))] or [AuCl(SMe(2))], respectively (1:1), in the absence of a base. Charge-transfer adducts of general composition Q[Au(kappa(2)-S,S-S(2)C=C(C(12)H(6)R(2)-2,7))(2)].1.5TCNQ.xCH(2)Cl(2) [Q(+) = PPN(+), R = H, x = 0 (11a); Q(+) = PPN(+), R = t-Bu, x = 2 (11b); Q(+) = Bu(4)N(+), R = OC(8)H(17), x = 0 (11c)] were obtained from Q6a-c and TCNQ (1:2). The crystal structures of 5c.THF, 5e.(2)/(3)CH(2)Cl(2), 5g.CH(2)Cl(2), (PPN)6a.2Me(2)CO, and 11b were solved by X-ray diffraction studies. All the gold(I) complexes here described are photoluminescent at 77 K, and their emissions can be generally ascribed to LMMCT (Q(2)4a,c, 5a-h, 10) or LMCT (9) excited states.  相似文献

Indigo Carmine (C16H8N2Na2O8S2), an anionic dye, was removed from aqueous solution by solvent sublation of Indigo Carmine-cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) complex (sublate) into 2-octanol. A stoichiometric amount of surfactant (surfactant:dye=2:1) was demonstrated to be able to remove over 93% IC from the aqueous solution in 5 min. The apparent activation energy of attachment of the sublate to bubbles was calculated as 1.3 kJ/mol. Parameters were considered. At the same time, on the base of the complete transport mechanism, a mathematical model for the dye-surfactant complexation was obtained. Furthermore, the simulation of the mathematical and experimental data was made with good results.  相似文献

A study of dye-surfactant ion complexes, bromophenol blue (BB), an anionic dye, with hexadecyl pyridium chloride (HPC) complex, and methane violet (MV), a cationic dye, with sodium docedylbenzensulfonate complex (DBS), was carried out. On the base of the complete transport mechanisms, the Langmuir adsorption and the ion complex equilibrium in aqueous phase, a mathematic model for the ion complex system is obtained with the aid of the 4th Runge-Kuta method and the Mathematic 4.0 and Matlab programs. The effects of many parameters are investigated. A substantial difference is posed between the solvent sublation and solvent extraction. Furthermore, the simulation shows that the model is substantiated with experiments on the solvent sublation of the two kinds of complexes. The results are very different from the models proposed by Wilson et al., which predict very different experimental results.  相似文献

Five salts, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](BPh(4)).CH(3)OH, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](PF(6)).CH(2)Cl(2), [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Br.3.5H(2)O, and [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.0.1H(2)O, have been crystallized and examined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. While the internal structure of the cation is similar in all salts, the interactions between cations vary in the different salts. Yellow [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](BPh(4)).CH(3)OH and red [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)](PF(6)) form face-to-face dimers with Pt...Pt separations of 3.6617(6) and 3.340(2) A, respectively. In the latter, hydrogen bonding of the chelating ligand to adjacent anions facilitates the close approach of pairs of cations. The salts [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O, [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Br.3.5H(2)O, and [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.0.1H(2)O form columnar structures with Pt...Pt separations that range from 3.2514(5) to 3.5643(6) A. The water molecules and anions surround these columns and form bridges between neighboring columns. The electronic spectra of aqueous solutions of [(C(4)H(9)N(4))Pt(II)(CNCH(3))(2)]Cl.4H(2)O show spectral changes upon increasing concentrations of the platinum complex that are indicative of the formation of a dimer in solution with an equilibrium constant for dimerization of 23(1).  相似文献

The deprotonation of the tripyrrole MeTPH(2) [MeTPH(2) = 2,5-[(2-pyrrolyl)(C(6)H(5))2C](2)(MeNC(4)H(2))], containing one N-methylated pyrrolyl ring, was carried out with 2 equiv of KH. The corresponding dipotassium salt reacted with VCl(3)(THF)(3) to afford the complex [(MeTP)VCl(THF)].THF (1). While the two lateral pyrrolide rings are sigma-bonded, the central one is perpendicularly oriented in a sort of pi-fashion. However, the bond distances clearly indicated that only the quaternized N atom is forming a bonding contact. Subsequent reduction of 1 with Na yielded the corresponding divalent complex [(MeTP)V(THF)].(C(7)H(8))(0.5) (2) where the central N-methylated ring adopted a more regular pi-orientation. When treated with a strong Lewis acid (AlMe(3)), THF was extracted from the vanadium coordination sphere, forming the dinuclear dinitrogen complex [(MeTP)V(mu-N(2))](2).(C(7)H(8))(2.9) (3). Reduction of 3 with potassium graphite gave cleavage of dinitrogen, affording the mixed-valent nitride-bridged complex [(MeTP)V(mu-N)](2).(THF) (4).  相似文献

Single crystal X-ray structure determinations of [(n-C5H11)4N]3[H3V10O28].2(CH3)2CO (TAA-acetone), [(n-C5H11)4N]8[H3V10O28]2[H4V10O28].7C4H8O2 (TAA-dioxane), [(n-C5H11)4N]3[H3V10O28] (TAAh) and [(n-C6H13)4N]2[H4V10O28].4C4H8O2 (THA-dioxane) revealed that protonation and hydrogen bond formation of decavanadate anions in their tetraalkylammonium salts are influenced by the nature of the solvent molecules incorporated as guests into the crystals. When crystallized with acetone molecules, the decavanadate anion forms a self-associated hydrogen-bonded dimer of ([H3V10O28](3-))2 to hide the protons from the aprotic protophobic acetone molecules. When crystallized with 1,4-dioxane molecules, the decavanadate anion exposes its protons to the aprotic protophilic 1,4-dioxane molecules to form a hydrogen-bond assisted solvation complex of ((C4H8O2)4...[H4V10O28)](2-)). Size effects of the tetraalkylammonium cations on crystallizing these hydrogen-bonded assemblies were also examined.  相似文献

Carrier-facilitated bulk liquid membrane (BLM) transport from an aqueous source phase through a chloroform membrane phase to an aqueous receiving phase was studied for various hydrophilic synthetic and naturally occurring Fe(III)-siderophore complexes using first coordination sphere recognition. Iron transport systems were designed such that two cis coordination sites on a hydrophilic Fe(III) complex are occupied by labile aquo ligands, while the other four coordination sites are blocked by strong tetradentate ligands (siderophores). The labile aquo coordination sites can be "recognized" by a liquid membrane-bound hydrophobic bidentate ligand, which carries the hydrophilic Fe(III)-siderophore complex across the hydrophobic membrane to an aqueous receiving phase. The system is further designed for uphill transport of Fe(III) against a concentration gradient, driven by anti-port H(+) transport. Three tetradentate siderophore and siderophore mimic ligands were investigated: rhodotorulic acid (H(2)L(RA)), alcaligin (H(2)L(AG)), and N,N'-dihydroxy-N,N'-dimethyldecanediamide (H(2)L(8)). Flux values for the transport of Fe(L(x))(OH(2))(2)(+) (x = RA, AG, 8) facilitated by the hydrophobic lauroyl hydroxamic acid (HLHA) membrane carrier were the highest when x = 8, which is attributed to substrate lipophilicity. Ferrioxamine B (FeHDFB(+)) was also selectively transported through a BLM by HLHA. The process involves partial dechelation of ferrioxamine B to produce the tetradentate form of the complex (Fe(H(2)DFB)(OH(2))(2)(2+)), followed by ternary complex formation with HLHA (Fe(H(2)DFB)(LHA)(+)) and transport across the membrane into the receiving phase. Uphill transport of ferrioxamine B was confirmed by increased flux as [H(+)](source phase) < [H(+)](receiving phase). The membrane flux of ferrioxamine B occurs near neutral pH, as evidence that ternary complex formation and ligand exchange are viable processes at the membrane/receptor surface of microbial cells.  相似文献

The preparation and structures of a variety of oxonium ion tetrachloroaurate(III) salts isolated from aqua regia are reported. The new compounds are [(H(5)O(2))(2)(12-crown-4)(2)][AuCl(4)](2) (1), [(H(7)O(3))(15-crown-5)][AuCl(4)] (2), [(H(5)O(2))(benzo-15-crown-5)(2)][AuCl(4)] (3), [(H(3)O)(18-crown-6)][AuCl(4)] (4), [(H(5)O(2))(dibenzo-24-crown-8)][AuCl(4)] (5), [(H(5)O(2))(4-nitrobenzo-15-crown-5)(2)][AuCl(4)] (6), [(H(3)O)(4-nitrobenzo-18-crown-6)][AuCl(4)] (7), [(H(11)O(5))(tetrachlorodibenzo-18-crown-6)(2)][AuCl(4)] (8), and [(H(7)O(3))(dinitrodibenzo-30-crown-10)][AuCl(4)] (9). A significant correlation between the degree of proton hydration and crown ether size is observed. Aryl crown ethers are nitrated in concentrated aqua regia, but nonnitrated products may be obtained in a dilute solution of aqua regia by reaction with aqueous HAuCl(4).  相似文献
