The Nc dependence of PPPγ vertices, where P is a pseudoscalar meson and Nc is the number of colors, is analyzed with allowance for the Nc dependence of the quark charges. It is shown that the reactions and π±γπ±η and the decay ηπ+π?γ are the best processes for determining Nc. The cross section σ(π?γπ?η) as measured by using the VES facility at IHEP agrees with the value of Nc=3.  相似文献

The influence of isospin-violating (ρ0, ω) mixing is discussed for any pair of decays of ρ0, ω into the same final state. It is demonstrated, in analogy to the CP violation in neutral kaon decays, that isospin violation can manifest itself in various forms: direct violation in amplitudes and/or violation due to mixing. In addition to the known decays (ρ0, ω) → π+π? and (ρ0, ω) → π0γ, the pair of decays to e+e? and the whole set of radiative decays with participation of ρ0, ω (in initial or final states) are also shown to be useful and promising for studies. Existing data on these decays agree with the universal character of the mixing parameter and indirectly support enhancement of ρ0π0γ in respect to ρ±π±γ. Future precise measurements will allow one to separate different forms of isospin violation and elucidate their mechanisms.  相似文献

The Lucena network (LN) is the dual of a multifractal partition of the square. We analyzethe relation between the typical topologic distance l and the number ofvertices Nof the LN. The multifractal partition has one parameter ρ which controls thegeometrical asymmetry of the multifractal. In the limit of ρ → 1 the blocks of thepartition are squared, the connections amont the blocks are short range, the LN is moreregular and the relation l ∝ √N is observed. For the limit ρ → 0 the blocks arestrongly asymmetric, long range connections appear, and the topologic distance followsl ∝(log?N)α, a weak smallworld phenomenon. For any network size we calculate analytically the size of the minimumdistance lmin (ρ → 0) and the maximaldistance lmax (ρ → 1). The distance in theweak small world regime is calculated using the number of vertices inside a radius oflength land taking into account the network average connectivity and the exponent α.  相似文献

The cross sections for inclusive neutral-pion production in the reactions d + C → π0 + x and d + Cu → π0 + x at a momentum of 4.5 GeV/c per nucleon were measured over the kinematical region specified by the inequalities Θπ≤16° and Eπ≥2 GeV (in the laboratory frame). From the ratio of the cross sections for neutral-pion generation on carbon and copper nuclei, the exponent n in the parametrization Ed3σ/d3pA T n is obtained as a function of the cumulative number X in the range 0.6 ≤ X ≤ 1.8 and as a function of the square of the transverse momentum in the range 0.04 ≤ P t 2 ≤ 0.40 (GeV/c)2. The probabilities of the formation of six-quark configurations in the D, 4He, and 12C nuclei are estimated. The double-differential cross section for the reaction d + C → π0 + x is determined for the first time by using a data sample containing more than 40 000 neutral pions.  相似文献

The experimental results obtained with the Crystal Ball detector for the physics of η-meson decays are reviewed. The η → 3π 0 Dalitz plot slope and the ηπ 0 γγ decay width are measured with a high accuracy using 3 × 107 η decays. Upper limits on the η → 3γ, η → 2π 0 γ, and η → 3π 0 γ C-forbidden decays are found. The sensitivity of these upper limits to C violation is estimated. An upper limit on the η → 4π 0 C P-forbidden decay is found for the first time and the sensitivity of this value to C P violation is estimated.  相似文献

I present estimates of CP-violating asymmetries in the non-leptonic charmonium two-body B0→ψ(2S0 decay and the same decays of B+→ψ(2S+ and B+→ψ(2S)K+ These estimates are based on QCD and improved QCD factorization approach making use of next-to-leading order (NLO) contributions. The CP-violating asymmetry for B0→ψ(2S0 decay is not available, according to the same calculations, it is expected if it can be measured in the future its value will be Sψ(2S)π0(B0 → ψ(2S0)= 0.662 ± 0.197 and Cψ(2S)π0(B0 → ψ(2S0)= 0.024 ± 0.007.  相似文献

We study the production of neutron-rich hypernuclei Λ 12 Be, Λ 16 C, and Λ 10 Li by the (π?, K+) and (K?, π+) reactions in flight and treat two different mechanisms of production. The first mechanism is a two-step process with meson charge exchange (e.g., π?pπ0n, π0pK+Λ). The other mechanism is one-step production (π?pK+Σ?) proceeding via a small Σ? component, arising in Λ hypernuclei due to ΛN–ΣN coupling, as a doorway state. Typically, the two-step mechanism is more productive. The forward differential cross section of the 10B(π?,K+) reaction is about 70 nb/sr at an incident momentum of 1.05 GeV/c. On the other hand, the one-step process can serve as a direct measurement of the Σ admixture if the two-step contribution is suppressed by a suitable choice of the reaction kinematics.  相似文献

We study the effect of Z′-mediated flavor-changing neutral current on the Bππ decays. The branching ratios of these decays can be enhanced remarkably in the nonuniversal Z′ model. Our estimated branching ratios B(B 0π 0 π 0) are enhanced significantly from their standard model (SM) value. For g′/g = 1, the branching ratios B(B 0π 0 π 0) are very close to the recently observed experimental values and for higher values of g′/g branching ratios are more. Our calculated branching ratios B(B 0π + π ?) and B(B +π + π 0) are also enhanced from the SM value as well as the recently observed experimental values. These enhancements of branching ratios from their SM value give the possibility of new physics.  相似文献

We calculate the processes \(D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + s\bar s\) and D s + π+resonance, respectively, in the spectator and W-annihilation mechanisms. The data on the reaction D s + π+ρ0, which is due to the W-annihilation mechanism only, point to a negligibly small contribution of the W annihilation to the production of scalar-isoscalar resonances D s + +f0. As to spectator mechanism, we evaluate the \(1^3 P_0 s\bar s\) component in the resonances f0(980), f0(1300), and f0(1500) and broad state f0(1200–1600) on the basis of data on the decay ratios D s + +f0/(D s + +θ). The data point to a large \(s\bar s\) component in the \(f_0 (980):40 \lesssim s\bar s \lesssim 70\% \). Nearly 30% of the \(1^3 P_0 s\bar s\) component flows to the mass region 1300–1500 MeV, being shared by f0(1300), f0(1500), and broad state f0(1200–1600): the interference of these states results in a peak near 1400 MeV with the width around 200 MeV. Our calculations show that the yield of the radial-excitation state\(2^3 P_0 s\bar s\)is relatively suppressed, \({{\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (2^3 P_0 s\bar s))} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (2^3 P_0 s\bar s))} {\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (1^3 P_0 s\bar s))}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (1^3 P_0 s\bar s))}} \lesssim 0.05\).  相似文献

Based on the data for the transitions π0, η, η′ → γγ*(Q2) and reactions of the e+e? annihilations e+e?ρ0, ω, ? and e+e?hadrons at 1<E e+e? <3.7 GeV, we determine the light-quark components of the photon wave function \(\gamma * (Q^2 ) \to q\bar q(q = u,d,s)\) for the region 0 ? The unique design of the PHENIX detector at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider allows one to detect neutral and charged particles produced in high-energy collisions of heavy ions. This circumstance made it possible to measure many-particle decays of light mesons, such as K S 0 →π0π0, η→π0π?π+, and η→γγ in p + p, d + Au and Au + Au collisions at the energy \(\sqrt {S_{NN} }\) = 200 GeV. The latest results of measuring the differential production cross sections, ratios of particle yields (K S 0 0 and η/π0), and the nuclear modification factors (\(R_{dA}^{K_S }\), R dA η , R AA η ) in a wide range of transverse momenta (from 2 to 12 GeV s?1) are reported.  相似文献

In this paper,a new version of the interacting model of new agegraphic dark energy(INADE)is proposed and analyzed in detail.The interaction between dark energy and dark matter is reconsidered.The interaction term Q=bH0ραdeρ1αdm is adopted,which abandons the Hubble expansion rate H and involves bothρde andρdm.Moreover,the new initial condition for the agegraphic dark energy is used,which solves the problem of accommodating baryon matter and radiation in the model.The solution of the model can be given using an iterative algorithm.A concrete example for the calculation of the model is given.Furthermore,the model is constrained by using the combined Planck data(Planck+BAO+SNIa+H0)and the combined WMAP-9 data(WMAP+BAO+SNIa+H0).Three typical cases are considered:(A)Q=bH0ρde,(B)Q=bH0√ρdeρdm,and(C)Q=bH0ρdm,which correspond toα=1,1/2,and 0,respectively.The departures of the models from theΛCDM model are measured by the BIC and AIC values.It is shown that the INADE model is better than the NADE model in the fit,and the INADE(A)model is the best in fitting data among the three cases.  相似文献

Attention is paid to the production mechanisms of light scalars that reveal their nature. We reveal the chiral shielding of the σ(600) meson. We show that the kaon loop mechanism of the ? radiative decays, ratified by experiment, is four-quark transition and points to the four-quark nature of light scalars. We show also that the light scalars are produced in the two photon collisions via four-quark transitions in contrast to the classic P wave tensor qq? mesons that are produced via two-quark transitions γγ → qq?. We study the mechanism of production of the light scalar mesons in the D s + → π+π? e +ν decays: D s + ss?e +ν → [σ(600) + f 0(980)]e +ν → π+π? e +ν, and compare it with the mechanism of production of the light pseudoscalar mesons in the D s + → (η/η′)e +ν decays: D s + ss?e +ν → (η/η′)e +ν. As a result we find support to four-quark nature of light scalars. In the end, we outline the future research program.  相似文献

The electroproduction of charged rho mesons on a nucleon under conditions of quasielastic kinematics [Q 2 > 2 (GeV/c)2, W > 3 GeV, and ω ρ ? q 0 in the laboratory frame] is considered. The main diagrams involved in this process are taken into account, and it is shown that the case of rho-meson knockout by a longitudinal photon is dominated by the t-channel pole diagram featuring a rho meson, so that direct rho-meson electroknockout makes a leading contribution to the process being considered. Questions concerning the gauge invariance of the electroproduction process are considered in detail, along with contact terms that inevitably arise in employing form factors in ρNN vertices and which are necessary for restoring gauge invariance. It is shown that the structure of these contact terms is not determined exclusively by the requirement that the electroproduction amplitude be gauge-invariant and may be such that the corresponding correction to the dominant diagram due to these terms proves to be suppressed in the quasielastic region (with increasing Q 2), with the result that the t-pole process featuring a rho meson remains dominant; at the same time, the contribution of this correction is significant at low Q 2 or in the case of photoproduction, modifying substantially the electroproduction cross section.  相似文献

We show the existence of a real analytic isomorphism between the space of the impedance function ρ of the Sturm–Liouville problem ?ρ ?2(ρ 2 f′)′ +uf on (0, 1), where u is a function of ρ, ρ′, ρ″, and that of potential p of the Schrödinger equation ?y″ +py on (0, 1), keeping their boundary conditions and spectral data. This mapping is associated with the classical Liouville transformation fρf, and yields a global isomorphism between solutions of inverse problems for the Sturm–Liouville equations of the impedance form and those of the Schrödinger equations.  相似文献

The amplitudes obtained from the effective chiral Lagrangian with anomalous terms based on hidden local symmetry are applied to the evaluation of the partial widths of the decays ω → 2π+2π?π0 and ωπ+π?3π0. Combining the Okubo-Zweig-Iizuka rule, applied to the five-pion final state, with the Adler condition of vanishing of the amplitude at the vanishing of four-momentum of any final pion in the chiral limit, the ? → 2π+2π?π0 and ?π+π?3π0 decay amplitudes are also calculated. The partial widths of the above decays are evaluated, and the resonance excitation curves in e+e? annihilation are obtained, assuming reasonable particular relations among the free parameters characterizing the anomalous terms of the Lagrangian. The evaluated branching ratios \(Br_{\phi \to \pi + \pi - 3\pi ^0 } \approx 2 \times 10^{ - 7} \) and \(Br_{\phi \to 2\pi + 2\pi - \pi ^0 } \approx 5 \times 10^{ - 7} \) are such that with the luminosity L = 500 pb?1, attained at the DAΦNE ? factory, one may already possess about 1340 events of the decays ? → 5π.  相似文献

The goal of the proposed experiment is to investigate the collective behavior of particles in the process of multiple hadron production in pp interaction ppn π π + 2N at the beam energy Elab = 70 GeV. The domain of high multiplicity n π = 30–40, or z = n/\(\bar n\) = 4–6, will be studied. Near the threshold of reaction n π → 69, zzth = 8.2, all particles acquire small relative momentum Δq < 1/R, where R is the dimension of the particle production region. As a consequence of multiboson interference, a number of collective effects may show up: (a) a drastic increase in the partial cross section σ(n) of production of n identical particles is expected, compared with commonly accepted extrapolation; (b) the formation of jets consisting of identical particles may occur as a result of the multiboson Bose-Einstein correlation (BEC) effect; (c) a large fluctuation of charged n(π+,π?) and neutral n(π0) components and onset of centauros or chiral condensate effects are anticipated; (d) an increase in the rate of direct γ as a result of the bremsstrahlung in the partonic cascade and annihilation of π+π? in dense and cold pionic gas or condensate is expected. In the domain of high multiplicity z ≥ 5, a major part of the c.m. energy \(\sqrt s = 11.6\) GeV is materialized, leading to a high-density thermalized hadronic system. Under this condition, a phase transition to cold quark-gluon plasma (QGP) may occur. The search for QGP signatures like large intermittency in the phase-space particle distribution and an enhanced rate of direct photons will be performed. The experimental setup is designed for detection of rare high-multiplicity events. The experiment is to be carried out at the extracted proton beam of the IHEP U-70 accelerator. The required beam intensity is ~107 s?1. Under the assumption that the partial cross section σ(n π = 35) = 10-1 nb, the anticipated counting rate is 10-1 events/h. The multiboson BEC enhancement may drastically increase the counting rate.  相似文献

Results obtained by measuring, in experiments at the VEPP-2M e + e ? collider with the CMD-2 and SND detectors at the Novosibirsk Institute of Nuclear Physics, cross sections for e + e ?hadrons annihilation processes at energies in the range 360 ≤ √s ≤ 1380 MeV are surveyed. The measured cross sections and the vector-meson parameters deduced from an analysis of these cross sections are presented. The cross section for the process e + e ?π + π ? is compared with the spectral function for the decay τ ?π ? π 0 ν τ.  相似文献

Precise measurements on rare radiative B decays are performed with the LHCb experiment at LHC. The LHCb results regarding the ratio of branching fractions for two radiative decays, B 0K *0 γ and B s → ?γ, the direct CP asymmetry in B 0K *0 γ decay channel and the observation of the photon polarization in the B ±K ±π?π± γ decay, are included. The first two measurements were performed in 1 fb–1 of pp collisions data and the third one in 3 fb–1 of data, respectively.  相似文献
