The NA48/2 experiment reports the first observation of the rare decay K±π±π0e+e?, based on about 2000 candidates from 2003 data. The preliminary branching ratio in the full kinematic region is \(\mathcal {B}(K^{\pm } \to \pi ^{\pm }\pi ^{0}e^{+}e^{-})=(4.06\pm 0.17)\cdot 10^{-6}\). A sample of 4.687 × 106\(K^{\pm }\to \pi ^{\pm }{\pi ^{0}_{D}}\) events collected in 2003/4 is analyzed to search for the dark photon (\(A^{\prime }\)) via the decay chain K±π±π0, \(\pi ^{0}\to \gamma A^{\prime }\), \(A^{\prime }\to e^{+}e^{-}\). No signal is observed, limits in the plane mixing parameter ε2 versus its mass \(m_{A^{\prime }}\) are reported.  相似文献

This letter presents an extension of EPL116(2017)62001 to light- and strange-quark nonequilibrium chemical phase-space occupancy factors (γq,s). The resulting damped trigonometric functionalities relating γq,s to the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energies (\(\sqrt {{s_{NN}}} \)) looks very similar except different coefficients. The phenomenology of the resulting γq,s(\(\sqrt {{s_{NN}}} \)) describes a rapid decrease at \(\sqrt {{s_{NN}}} \) ? 7GeV followed by a faster increase up to ~20 GeV. Then, both γq,s become nonsensitive to \(\sqrt {{s_{NN}}} \). Although these differ from γ s (\(\sqrt {{s_{NN}}} \))obtained at γ q (\(\sqrt {{s_{NN}}} \))=1, various particle ratios including K++, K??, Λ/π?, Λ?/π?, Ξ++, and Ω/π?, can well be reproduced, as well. We conclude that γq,s(\(\sqrt {{s_{NN}}} \)) should be instead determined from fits of various particle yields and ratios but not merely from fits to the particle ratio K++.  相似文献

The open shell molecules with even number of electrons have π 2 or \({\pi ^{2}_{g}}\) ground-state electronic configuration. Several homonuclear diatomic molecules like O2, S2, B2 have \({\pi ^{2}_{g}}\) ground state in the \(D_{\infty h}\) point group and heteronuclear diatomic radicals like PH, NH, SO have π 2 ground state in the \(C_{\infty v}\) point group. We have computed and presented here the rate coefficient of these open shell molecules (O2, S2, B2) and radicals (PH, NH, SO) from the results of our previous studies using a well-established ab-initio formalism: the R-matrix method. The rate coefficients for elastic and electron-excited processes are studied over a wide electron temperature range.  相似文献

We calculate the processes \(D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + s\bar s\) and D s + π+resonance, respectively, in the spectator and W-annihilation mechanisms. The data on the reaction D s + π+ρ0, which is due to the W-annihilation mechanism only, point to a negligibly small contribution of the W annihilation to the production of scalar-isoscalar resonances D s + +f0. As to spectator mechanism, we evaluate the \(1^3 P_0 s\bar s\) component in the resonances f0(980), f0(1300), and f0(1500) and broad state f0(1200–1600) on the basis of data on the decay ratios D s + +f0/(D s + +θ). The data point to a large \(s\bar s\) component in the \(f_0 (980):40 \lesssim s\bar s \lesssim 70\% \). Nearly 30% of the \(1^3 P_0 s\bar s\) component flows to the mass region 1300–1500 MeV, being shared by f0(1300), f0(1500), and broad state f0(1200–1600): the interference of these states results in a peak near 1400 MeV with the width around 200 MeV. Our calculations show that the yield of the radial-excitation state\(2^3 P_0 s\bar s\)is relatively suppressed, \({{\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (2^3 P_0 s\bar s))} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (2^3 P_0 s\bar s))} {\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (1^3 P_0 s\bar s))}}} \right. \kern-\nulldelimiterspace} {\Gamma (D_s^ + \to \pi ^ + (1^3 P_0 s\bar s))}} \lesssim 0.05\).  相似文献

We study the transverse momentum spectra of identified pions (π + π+), kaons ((K + K +), K 0 s ), protons (p + p?) and lambda hyperons (Λ + Λ?) produced at mid-rapidity (0 < y cm < 0.5) in most central (0?5)% p–Pb collisions at \(\sqrt {s_{NN} }\) = 5.02 TeV in comparison with a Unified Statistical Thermal Freeze-out Model (USTFM). The measurements for pions are reported upto p T = 3 GeV, the kaons (K + K +) are reported upto p T = 2.5 GeV, K 0 s is reported upto p T = 7 GeV, and the baryons (protons and lambda hyperons) are reported upto p T = 3.5 GeV. A good agreement is seen between the calculated results and the experimental data points taken from the ALICE experiment. The transverse momentum spectra are found to be flatter for heavy particles than for light particles. Bulk freeze-out properties in terms of kinetic freeze-out temperature and the transverse collective flow velocity are extracted from the fits of the transverse momentum spectra of these hadrons. The effect of resonance decay contributions has also been taken care of.  相似文献

Treating the light-flavor constituent quarks and antiquarks whose momentum information is extracted from the data of soft light-flavor hadrons in pp collisions at \(\sqrt{s}=7\) TeV as the underlying source of chromatically neutralizing the charm quarks of low transverse momenta (\(p_{T}\)), we show that the experimental data of \(p_{T}\) spectra of single-charm hadrons \(D^{0,+}\), \(D^{*+}\) \(D_{s}^{+}\), \(\varLambda _{c}^{+}\) and \(\varXi _{c}^{0}\) at mid-rapidity in the low \(p_{T}\) range (\(2\lesssim p_{T}\lesssim 7\) GeV/c) in pp collisions at \(\sqrt{s}=7\) TeV can be well understood by the equal-velocity combination of perturbatively created charm quarks and those light-flavor constituent quarks and antiquarks. This suggests a possible new scenario of low \(p_{T}\) charm quark hadronization, in contrast to the traditional fragmentation mechanism, in pp collisions at LHC energies. This is also another support for the exhibition of the soft constituent quark degrees of freedom for the small parton system created in pp collisions at LHC energies.  相似文献

It is well known that quantum correlations for bipartite dichotomic measurements are those of the form \({\gamma=(\langle u_i,v_j\rangle)_{i,j=1}^n}\), where the vectors ui and vj are in the unit ball of a real Hilbert space. In this work we study the probability of the nonlocal nature of these correlations as a function of \({\alpha=\frac{m}{n}}\), where the previous vectors are sampled according to the Haar measure in the unit sphere of \({\mathbb R^m}\). In particular, we prove the existence of an \({\alpha_0 > 0}\) such that if \({\alpha\leq \alpha_0}\), \({\gamma}\) is nonlocal with probability tending to 1 as \({n\rightarrow \infty}\), while for \({\alpha > 2}\), \({\gamma}\) is local with probability tending to 1 as \({n\rightarrow \infty}\).  相似文献

In this paper, the mass spectra are obtained for doubly heavy \(\Xi \) baryons, namely, \(\Xi _{cc}^{+}\), \(\Xi _{cc}^{++}\), \(\Xi _{bb}^{-}\), \(\Xi _{bb}^{0}\), \(\Xi _{bc}^{0}\) and \(\Xi _{bc}^{+}\). These baryons consist of two heavy quarks (cc, bb, and bc) with a light (d or u) quark. The ground, radial, and orbital states are calculated in the framework of the hypercentral constituent quark model with Coulomb plus linear potential. Our results are also compared with other predictions, thus, the average possible range of excited states masses of these \(\Xi \) baryons can be determined. The study of the Regge trajectories is performed in (n, \(M^{2}\)) and (J, \(M^{2}\)) planes and their slopes and intercepts are also determined. Lastly, the ground state magnetic moments of these doubly heavy baryons are also calculated.  相似文献

Using the helicity formalism, we calculate the combined angular distribution function of the neutral pion (π 0) and the polarized electron (e ?) and photon (γ) produced in the triple cascade process \(\bar{p}+p\rightarrow{}^{1}D_{2}\rightarrow{}^{1}P_{1}+\gamma\rightarrow(\psi +\pi^{0})+\gamma \rightarrow(e^{-}+e^{+})+\pi^{0}+\gamma\), when \(\bar{p}\) and p are unpolarized. We also present the partially integrated angular distribution functions in three different cases where the combined angular distribution function of the three particles is integrated over the direction of one of the particles. Our results show that by measuring the two-particle angular distribution of the electron and the photon with the polarization of either particle, one can determine the relative magnitudes as well as the relative phases of all the angular-momentum helicity amplitudes in the two decay processes 1 D 21 P 1+γ and 1 P 1ψ+π 0.  相似文献

For the Ising model (with interaction constant J>0) on the Cayley tree of order k≥2 it is known that for the temperature TT c,k =J/arctan?(1/k) the limiting Gibbs measure is unique, and for T<T c,k there are uncountably many extreme Gibbs measures. In the Letter we show that if \(T\in(T_{c,\sqrt{k}}, T_{c,k_{0}})\), with \(\sqrt{k} then there is a new uncountable set \({\mathcal{G}}_{k,k_{0}}\) of Gibbs measures. Moreover \({\mathcal{G}}_{k,k_{0}}\ne {\mathcal{G}}_{k,k'_{0}}\), for k 0k0. Therefore if \(T\in (T_{c,\sqrt{k}}, T_{c,\sqrt{k}+1})\), \(T_{c,\sqrt{k}+1} then the set of limiting Gibbs measures of the Ising model contains the set {known Gibbs measures}\(\cup(\bigcup_{k_{0}:\sqrt{k}.  相似文献

We consider Hermitian and symmetric random band matrices H in d ≥ 1 dimensions. The matrix elements H xy , indexed by \({x,y \in \Lambda \subset \mathbb{Z}^d}\), are independent, uniformly distributed random variables if \({\lvert{x-y}\rvert}\) is less than the band width W, and zero otherwise. We prove that the time evolution of a quantum particle subject to the Hamiltonian H is diffusive on time scales \({t\ll W^{d/3}}\). We also show that the localization length of the eigenvectors of H is larger than a factor W d/6 times the band width. All results are uniform in the size \({\lvert{\Lambda}\rvert}\) of the matrix.  相似文献

A recurrence procedure for a sequential construction of kernels \(G_{{l_1},{l_2}}^l\) (c, c1, c2) appearing upon the expansion of a nonlinear collision integral of the Boltzmann equation in spherical harmonics is developed. The starting kernel for this procedure is kernel G0,00 (c, c1, c2) of the collision integral for the distribution function isotropic with respect to the velocities. Using the recurrence procedure, a set of kernels \(G_{{l_1},{l_2}}^{ + l}\) (c, c1, c2) for a gas consisting of hard spheres and Maxwellian molecules is constructed. It is shown that the resultant kernels exhibit similarity and symmetry properties and satisfy the relations following from the conservation laws.  相似文献

In this work, we study systematically the mass splittings of the \(qq\bar{Q}\bar{Q}\) (\(q=u\), d, s and \(Q=c\), b) tetraquark states with the color-magnetic interaction by considering color mixing effects and estimate roughly their masses. We find that the color mixing effect is relatively important for the \(J^P=0^+\) states and possible stable tetraquarks exist in the \(nn\bar{Q}\bar{Q}\) (\(n=u\), d) and \(ns\bar{Q}\bar{Q}\) systems either with \(J=0\) or with \(J=1\). Possible decay patterns of the tetraquarks are briefly discussed.  相似文献

Fermionic and weak decays of the scalar leptoquarks S = S 1 (+) , S 1 (?) , and S m and the scalar gluons F = F 1 and F 2 predicted by the minimal model involving four-color symmetry and the Higgs mechanism of quark-and lepton-mass splitting are considered. The widths and the branching ratios are calculated for these decays, and the results are analyzed versus the couplings and masses of decaying particles. It is shown that, at relatively small mass splittings Δm within scalar doublets (Δm < m W), the fermionic decays S 1 (+) tl j + , S 1 (?) v i \(\tilde b\), S mt \(\tilde \nu \) j, F 1t \(\tilde b\), and F 2t \(\tilde t\), which are characterized by few-GeV widths for m S, m F < 1 TeV and decay branching ratios close to unity, are dominant, but that, for Δm > m W, the weak decays SS′W and FF’W compete with the above fermionic decays. In the case of m S < m t, the processes S 1 (+) cl j + , S 1 (?) v i \(\tilde b\), S mbl j + , and S mc \(\tilde \nu \) j, whose total branching ratios are Br(S 1 (+) cl +) ≈ Br(S 1 (?) v \(\tilde b\)) ≈ 1, Br(S mbl +) ≈ 0.9, and Br(S mc \(\tilde \nu \)) ≈ 0.1, appear to be dominant decays of scalar leptoquarks. Searches for these decays at LHC and the Tevatron are of interest.  相似文献

The general class of problems we consider is the following: Let Ω 1 be a bounded domain in \({\mathbb{R}^d}\) for d ≥ 2 and let u 0 be a velocity field on all of \({\mathbb{R}^d}\) . Suppose that for all R ≥ 1 we have an operator \({\mathcal{T}_R}\) that projects u 0 restricted to 1 (Ω 1 scaled by R) into a function space on 1 for which the solution to some initial value problem is well-posed with \({\mathcal{T}_{R}u^0}\) as the initial velocity. Can we show that as R → ∞ the solution to the initial value problem on 1 converges to a solution in the whole space? We answer this question when d  =  2 for weak solutions to the Navier-Stokes and Euler equations. For the Navier-Stokes equations we assume the lowest regularity of u 0 for which one can obtain adequate control on the pressure. For the Euler equations we assume the lowest feasible regularity of u 0 for which uniqueness of solutions to the Euler equations is known (thus, we allow “slightly unbounded” vorticity). In both cases, we obtain strong convergence of the velocity and the vorticity as R → ∞ and, for the Euler equations, the flow. Our approach yields, in principle, a bound on the rates of convergence.  相似文献

Given a formal symplectic groupoid G over a Poisson manifold (M, π 0), we define a new object, an infinitesimal deformation of G, which can be thought of as a formal symplectic groupoid over the manifold M equipped with an infinitesimal deformation \({\pi_0 + \varepsilon \pi_1}\) of the Poisson bivector field π 0. To any pair of natural star products \({(\ast,\tilde\ast)}\) having the same formal symplectic groupoid G we relate an infinitesimal deformation of G. We call it the deformation groupoid of the pair \({(\ast,\tilde\ast)}\) . To each star product with separation of variables \({\ast}\) on a Kähler–Poisson manifold M we relate another star product with separation of variables \({\hat\ast}\) on M. We build an algorithm for calculating the principal symbols of the components of the logarithm of the formal Berezin transform of a star product with separation of variables \({\ast}\) . This algorithm is based upon the deformation groupoid of the pair \({(\ast,\hat\ast)}\) .  相似文献

The enhancement of theK + -decay compared to theK 0 -decay is discussed on the basis of the\(|\mathop {\Delta {\rm I}}\limits^ \to | = \tfrac{1}{2}\)-rule. The enhancement factor is calculated by dispersion methods which yield an expression depending only on the phase shift of the two pion system in theJ=0,I=0,2 state. This expression has been studied in the framework of simple models for the two-pion interaction in order to obtain a survey of the possibilities for the cause of the anomalous large ratioK + /K 0 . Only characteristic cases have been considered and, as far as possible, experimental results of theπ-π-interaction are taken into account.  相似文献

We give, as L grows to infinity, an explicit lower bound of order \({L^{\frac{n}{m}}}\) for the expected Betti numbers of the vanishing locus of a random linear combination of eigenvectors of P with eigenvalues below L. Here, P denotes an elliptic self-adjoint pseudo-differential operator of order \({m > 0}\), bounded from below and acting on the sections of a Riemannian line bundle over a smooth closed n-dimensional manifold M equipped with some Lebesgue measure. In fact, for every closed hypersurface \({\Sigma}\) of \({\mathbb{R}^n}\), we prove that there exists a positive constant \({p_\Sigma}\) depending only on \({\Sigma}\), such that for every large enough L and every \({x \in M}\), a component diffeomorphic to \({\Sigma}\) appears with probability at least \({p_\Sigma}\) in the vanishing locus of a random section and in the ball of radius \({L^{-\frac{1}{m}}}\) centered at x. These results apply in particular to Laplace–Beltrami and Dirichlet-to-Neumann operators.  相似文献

Let G n ? Diff+(S 1) be the stabilizer of n given points of S 1. How much information do we lose if we restrict a positive energy representation \(U^c_h\) associated to an admissible pair (c, h) of the central charge and lowest energy, to the subgroup G n ? The question, and a part of the answer originate in chiral conformal QFT. The value of c can be easily “recovered” from such a restriction; the hard question concerns the value of h. If c ≤ 1, then there is no loss of information, and accordingly, all of these restrictions are irreducible. In this work it is shown that \(U^c_{h}|_{G_n}\) is always irreducible for n =  1 and, if h =  0, it is irreducible at least up to n ≤  3. Moreover, an example is given for c >  2 and certain values of \(h \neq \tilde{h}\) such that \(U^c_{h}|_{G_1}\simeq U^c_{\tilde{h}}|_{G_1}\) . It is also concluded that for these values \(U^c_{h}|_{G_n}\) cannot be irreducible for n ≥  2. For further values of c, h and n, the question is left open. Nevertheless, the example already shows that, on the circle, there are conformal QFT models in which local and global intertwiners are not equivalent.  相似文献
