We establish two new inequalities of Grüss type involving functions of two independent variables. The analysis used in the proofs is elementary and our results provide new estimates on inequalities of this type.     

Numerical Evaluation of a Class of Double Integrals of Oscillatory Functions

A general method is described for the numerical evaluation ofintegrals of the form where, in a typical case, (x, y) is a lengthy polynomial ofdegree 10 in (x, y) and A is the region common to three overlappingcircles, although the method is in no way restricted to suchcases. Illustrative numerical examples are given.     

Ostrowski Type Inequalities on Time Scales for Double Integrals

In this paper we first derive an Ostrowski type inequality on time scales for double integrals via ΔΔ-integral which unify corresponding continuous and discrete versions. We then replace the ΔΔ-integral by the ∇ ∇-, Δ∇-, and ∇Δ-integrals and get completely analogous results.

We prove the Ostrowski type inequality for double integrals on time scales and thus unify corresponding continuous and discrete versions from the literature. We also apply the Ostrowski inequality for double integrals to the quantum time scales.

Double Operator Integrals in a Hilbert Space

Double operator integrals are a convenient tool in many problems arising in the theory of self-adjoint operators, especially in the perturbation theory. They allow to give a precise meaning to operations with functions of two ordered operator-valued non-commuting arguments. In a different language, the theory of double operator integrals turns into the problem of scalarvalued multipliers for operator-valued kernels of integral operators.The paper gives a short survey of the main ideas, technical tools and results of the theory. Proofs are given only in the rare occasions, usually they are replaced by references to the original papers. Various applications are discussed.
