The heterocumulenes carbon dioxide (CO(2)), carbonyl sulfide (OCS), and carbon disulfide (CS(2)) were treated with bis(2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-2,5-disila-1-azacyclopent-1-yl)tin {[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn, an analogue of the well-studied bis[bis(trimethylsilyl)amido]tin species [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Sn, to yield an unexpectedly diverse product slate. Reaction of {[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn with CO(2) resulted in the formation of 2,2,5,5-tetramethyl-2,5-disila-1-oxacyclopentane, along with Sn(4)(μ(4)-O){μ(2)-O(2)CN[SiMe(2)(CH(2))(2)]}(4)(μ(2)-N═C═O)(2) as the primary organometallic Sn-containing product. The reaction of {[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn with CS(2) led to formal reduction of CS(2) to [CS(2)](2-), yielding [{[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn](2)CS(2){[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn, in which the [CS(2)](2-) is coordinated through C and S to two tin centers. The product [{[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn](2)CS(2){[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn also contains a novel 4-membered Sn-Sn-C-S ring, and exhibits a further bonding interaction through sulfur to a third Sn atom. Reaction of OCS with {[(CH(2))Me(2)Si](2)N}(2)Sn resulted in an insoluble polymeric material. In a comparison reaction, [(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Sn was treated with OCS to yield Sn(4)(μ(4)-O)(μ(2)-OSiMe(3))(5)(η(1)-N═C═S). A combination of NMR and IR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and single crystal X-ray diffraction were used to characterize the products of each reaction. The oxygen atoms in the final products come from the facile cleavage of either CO(2) or OCS, depending on the reacting carbon dichalogenide.  相似文献

Several of alkaline-earth-metal complexes [(η(2):η(2):μ(N):μ(N)-Li)(+)](2)[{η(2)-Me(2)Si(DippN)(2)}(2)Mg](2-) (4), [η(2)(N,N)-Me(2)Si(DippN)(2)Ca·3THF] (5), [η(2)(N,N)-Me(2)Si(DippN)(2)Sr·THF] (6), and [η(2)(N,N)-Me(2)Si(DippN)(2)Ba·4THF] (7) of a bulky bis(amido)silane ligand were readily prepared by the metathesis reaction of alkali-metal bis(amido)silane [Me(2)Si(DippNLi)(2)] (Dipp = 2,6-i-Pr(2)C(6)H(3)) and alkaline-earth-metal halides MX(2) (M = Mg, X = Br; M = Ca, Sr, Ba, X = I). Alternatively, compounds 5-7 were synthesized either by transamination of M[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)·2THF (M = Ca, Sr, Ba) and [Me(2)Si(DippNH)(2)] or by transmetalation of Sn[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2), [Me(2)Si(DippNH)(2)], and metallic calcium, strontium, and barium in situ. The metathesis reaction of dilithium bis(amido)silane [Me(2)Si(DippNLi)(2)] and magnesium bromide in the presence of oxygen afforded, however, an unusual lithium oxo polyhedral complex {[(DippN(Me(2)Si)(2))(μ-O)(Me(2)Si)](2)(μ-Br)(2)[(μ(3)-Li)·THF](4)(μ(4)-O)(4)(μ(3)-Li)(2)} (8) with a square-basket-shaped core Li(6)Br(2)O(4) bearing a bis(aminolato)silane ligand. All complexes were characterized using (1)H, (13)C, and (7)Li NMR and IR spectroscopy, in addition to X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

The reaction between {(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}PCl(2) (4) and one equivalent of either [C(6)H(4)-2-NMe(2)]Li or [2-C(5)H(4)N]ZnCl, followed by in situ reduction with LiAlH(4) gives the secondary phosphanes {(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(C(6)H(4)-2-NMe(2))PH (5) and {(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(2-C(5)H(4)N)PH (6) in good yields as colourless oils. Metalation of 5 with Bu(n)Li in THF gives the lithium phosphanide [[{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(C(6)H(4)-2-NMe(2))P]Li(THF)(2)] (7), which undergoes metathesis with either NaOBu(t) or KOBu(t) to give the heavier alkali metal derivatives [[{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(C(6)H(4)-2-NMe(2))P]Na(tmeda)] (8) and [[{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(C(6)H(4)-2-NMe(2))P]K(pmdeta)] (9) after recrystallization in the presence of the corresponding amine co-ligand [tmeda = N,N,N',N'-tetramethylethylenediamine, pmdeta = N,N,N',N',N'-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine]. The pyridyl-functionalized phosphane 6 undergoes deprotonation on treatment with Bu(n)Li to give a red oil corresponding to the lithium compound [{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(2-C(5)H(4)N)P]Li (10) which could not be crystallized. Treatment of this oil with NaOBu(t) gives the sodium derivative [{[{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(2-C(5)H(4)N)P]Na}(2) x (Et(2)O)](2) (11), whilst treatment of with KOBu(t), followed by recrystallization in the presence of pmdeta gives the complex [[{(Me(3)Si)(2)CH}(2-C(5)H(4)N)P]K(pmdeta)](2) (12). Compounds 5-12 have been characterised by (1)H, (13)C{(1)H} and (31)P{(1)H} NMR spectroscopy and elemental analyses; compounds 7-9, and 12 have additionally been characterised by X-ray crystallography. Compounds 7-9 crystallize as discrete monomers, whereas 11 crystallizes as an unusual dimer of dimers and 12 crystallizes as a dimer with bridging pyridyl-phosphanide ligands.  相似文献

The steric factors that allow trivalent [(C(5)Me(5))(3)U] (1) to function as a three-electron reductant with C(8)H(8) to form tetravalent [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-C(8)H(8))] (2) have been explored by examining the synthesis and reactivity of the intermediate, "[(C(5)Me(5))(2)(C(8)H(8))U]" (3), and the slightly less crowded analogues, [(C(5)Me(5))(C(5)Me(4)H)(C(8)H(8))U] and [(C(5)Me(4)H)(2)(C(8)H(8))U], that have, successively one less methyl group. The reaction of [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U(μ-OTf)}(2)] (4; OTf=OSO(2) CF(3)) with two equivalents of KC(5)Me(5) in THF gave ring-opening to "[(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U{O(CH(2))(4)(C(5) Me(5))}]" consistent with in situ formation of 3. Reaction of 4 with two and four equivalents of KC(5)Me(4)H generates two equivalents of [(C(5)Me(5))(C(5)Me(4)H)(C(8)H(8))U] (5) and [(C(5)Me(4)H)(2)(C(8)H(8))U] (6), respectively, which in contrast to 3 were isolable. Tetravalent 5 reduces phenazine and PhEEPh (E=S, Se, and Te) to form the tetravalent uranium reduction products, [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-C(12)H(8)N(2))] (7), [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-SPh)(2)] (8), [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-SePh)(2)] (9), and [{(C(5)Me(5))(C(8)H(8))U}(2)(μ-TePh)(2)] (10), consistent with sterically induced reduction. In contrast, the less sterically crowded 6 does not react with these substrates.  相似文献

Examination of the Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/KC(8) reduction system that allowed isolation of the (N(2))(3-) radical has led to the first evidence of Y(2+) in solution. The deep-blue solutions obtained from Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3) and KC(8) in THF at -35 °C under argon have EPR spectra containing a doublet at g(iso) = 1.976 with a 110 G hyperfine coupling constant. The solutions react with N(2) to generate (N(2))(2-) and (N(2))(3-) complexes {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(THF)Y}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)) (1) and {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(THF)Y}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)] (2), respectively, and demonstrate that the Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/KC(8) reaction can proceed through an Y(2+) intermediate. The reactivity of (N(2))(3-) radical with proton sources was probed for the first time for comparison with the (N(2))(2-) and (N(2))(4-) chemistry. Complex 2 reacts with [Et(3)NH][BPh(4)] to form {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(THF)Y}(2)(μ-N(2)H(2)), the first lanthanide (N(2)H(2))(2-) complex derived from dinitrogen, as well as 1 as a byproduct, consistent with radical disproportionation reactivity.  相似文献

The effect of the neutral donor ligand, L, on the Ln(2)N(2) core in the (N═N)(2-) complexes, [A(2)(L)Ln](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)) (Ln = Sc, Y, lanthanide; A = monoanion; L = neutral ligand), is unknown since all of the crystallographically characterized examples were obtained with L = tetrahydrofuran (THF). To explore variation in L, displacement reactions between {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(THF)Y}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 1, and benzonitrile, pyridine (py), 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP), triphenylphosphine oxide, and trimethylamine N-oxide were investigated. THF is displaced by all of these ligands to form {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)(L)Y}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)) complexes (L = PhCN, 2; py, 3; DMAP, 4; Ph(3)PO, 5; Me(3)NO, 6) that were fully characterized by analytical, spectroscopic, density functional theory, and X-ray crystallographic methods. The crystal structures of the Y(2)N(2) cores in 2-5 are similar to that in 1 with N-N bond distances between 1.255(3) ? and 1.274(3) ?, but X-ray analysis of the N-N distance in 6 shows it to be shorter: 1.198(3) ?.  相似文献

Unsolvated, trinuclear, homometallic, rare-earth-metal multimethyl methylidene complexes [{(NCN)Ln(μ(2)-CH(3))}(3)(μ(3)-CH(3))(μ(3)-CH(2))] (NCN = L = [PhC{NC(6)H(4)(iPr-2,6)(2)}(2)](-); Ln = Sc (2a), Lu (2b)) have been synthesized by treatment of [(L)Ln{CH(2)C(6)H(4)N(CH(3))(2)-o}(2)] (Ln = Sc (1a), Lu (1b)) with two equivalents of AlMe(3) in toluene at ambient temperature in good yields. Treatment of 1 with three equivalents of AlMe(3) gives the heterometallic trinuclear complexes [(L)Ln(AlMe(4))(2)] (Ln = Sc (3a), Lu (3b)) in good yields. Interestingly, 2 can also be generated by recrystallization of 3 in THF/toluene, thereby indicating that the THF molecule can also induce C-H bond activation of 2. Reaction of 2 with one equivalent of ketones affords the trinuclear homometallic oxo-trimethyl complexes [{(L)Ln(μ(2) -CH(3))}(3) (μ(3)-CH(3))(μ(3)-O)] (Ln = Sc(4a), Lu(4b)) in high yields. Complex 4b reacts with one equivalent of cyclohexanone to give the methyl abstraction product [{(L)Lu(μ(2) -CH(3) )}(3) (μ(3) -OC(6)H(9))(μ(3)-O)] (5b), whereas reaction of 4b with acetophenone forms the insertion product [{(L)Lu(μ(2)-CH(3))}(3){μ(3)-OCPh(CH(3))(2)}(μ(3)-O)] (6b). Complex 4a is inert to ketone under the same conditions. All these new complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, NMR spectroscopy, and confirmed by X-ray diffraction determination.  相似文献

A convenient synthesis of (t)Bu(3)SiSH and (t)Bu(3)SiSNa(THF)(x)() led to the exploration of "(t)Bu(3)SiSMX" aggregation. The dimer, [((t)Bu(3)SiS)Fe](2)(mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))(2) (1(2)), was formed from [{(Me(3)Si)(2)N}Fe](2)(mu-N(SiMe(3))(2))(2) and the thiol, and its dissolution in THF generated ((t)Bu(3)SiS)(2)Fe(THF)(2) (1-(THF)(2)). Metathetical procedures with the thiolate yielded aggregate precursors [X(2)Fe](mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))(2)[FeX(THF)]Na(THF)(4) (3-X, X = Cl, Br) and cis-[(THF)IFe](2)(mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))(2) (4). Thermal desolvations of 3-Cl, 3-Br and 4 afforded molecular wheels [Fe(mu-X)(mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))](12)(C(6)H(6))(n) (5-FeX, X = Cl, Br) and the ellipse [Fe(mu-I)(mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))](14)(C(6)H(6))(n) (6-FeI). Related metathesis and desolvation sequences led to wheels [Co(mu-Cl)(mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))](12)(C(6)H(6))(n) (5-CoCl) and [Ni(mu-Br)(mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))](12)(C(6)H(6))(n) (5-NiBr). The nickel wheel disproportionated to give, in part, [((t)Bu(3)SiS)Ni](2)(mu-SSi(t)Bu(3))(2) (7), which was also synthesized via salt metathesis. X-ray structural studies of 1(2) revealed a roughly planar Fe(2)S(4) core, while 1-(THF)(2), 3-Br, and 4 possessed simple distorted tetrahedral and edge-shared tetrahedral structures. X-ray structural studies revealed 5-MX (MX = FeCl, FeBr, CoCl, NiBr) to be wheels based on edge-shared tetrahedra, but while the pseudo-D(6)(d) wheels of 5-FeCl, 5-CoCl, and 5-FeBr pack in a body-centered arrangement, those of pseudo-C(6)(v)() 5-NiBr exhibit hexagonal packing and two distinct trans-annular d(Br...Br). Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility measurements were conducted on 5-FeCl, 5-CoCl, 5-FeBr, and 6-FeI, and the latter three are best construed as weakly antiferromagnetic, while 5-FeCl exhibited modest ferromagnetic coupling. Features suggesting molecular magnetism are most likely affiliated with phase changes at low temperatures.  相似文献

New syntheses of complexes containing the recently discovered (N(2))(3-) radical trianion have been developed by examining variations on the LnA(3)/M reductive system that delivers "LnA(2)" reactivity when Ln = scandium, yttrium, or a lanthanide, M = an alkali metal, and A = N(SiMe(3))(2) and C(5)R(5). The first examples of LnA(3)/M reduction of dinitrogen with aryloxide ligands (A = OC(6)R(5)) are reported: the combination of Dy(OAr)(3) (OAr = OC(6)H(3)(t)Bu(2)-2,6) with KC(8) under dinitrogen was found to produce both (N(2))(2-) and (N(2))(3-) products, [(ArO)(2)Dy(THF)(2)](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 1, and [(ArO)(2)Dy(THF)](2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)], 2a, respectively. The range of metals that form (N(2))(3-) complexes with [N(SiMe(3))(2)](-) ancillary ligands has been expanded from Y to Lu, Er, and La. Ln[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/M reactions with M = Na as well as KC(8) are reported. Reduction of the isolated (N(2))(2-) complex {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2)), 3, with KC(8) forms the (N(2))(3-) complex, {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(THF)(6)], 4a, in high yield. The reverse transformation, the conversion of 4a to 3 can be accomplished cleanly with elemental Hg. The crown ether derivative {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y(THF)}(2)(μ-η(2):η(2)-N(2))[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(2)] was isolated from reduction of 3 with KC(8) in the presence of 18-crown-6 and found to be much less soluble in tetrahydrofuran (THF) than the [K(THF)(6)](+) salt, which facilitates its separation from 3. Evidence for ligand metalation in the Y[N(SiMe(3))(2)](3)/KC(8) reaction was obtained through the crystal structure of the metallacyclic complex {[(Me(3)Si)(2)N](2)Y[CH(2)Si(Me(2))NSiMe(3)]}[K(18-crown-6)(THF)(toluene)]. Density functional theory previously used only with reduced dinitrogen complexes of closed shell Sc(3+) and Y(3+) was extended to Lu(3+) as well as to open shell 4f(9) Dy(3+) complexes to allow the first comparison of bonding between these four metals.  相似文献

Functionalization of the nitrogen atoms in the hafnocene oxamidide complexes [Me(2)Si(η(5)-C(5)Me(4))(η(5)-C(5)H(3)-3-(t)Bu)Hf](2)(N(2)C(2)O(2)) and [(η(5)-C(5)Me(4)H)(2)Hf](2)(N(2)C(2)O(2)), prepared from CO-induced N(2) bond cleavage, was explored by cycloaddition and by formal 1,2-addition chemistry. The ansa-hafnocene variant, [Me(2)Si(η(5)-C(5)Me(4))(η(5)-C(5)H(3)-3-(t)Bu)Hf](2)(N(2)C(2)O(2)), undergoes facile cycloaddition with heterocumulenes such as (t)BuNCO and CO(2) to form new N-C and Hf-O bonds. Both products were crystallographically characterized, and the latter reaction demonstrates that an organic ligand can be synthesized from three abundant and often inert small molecules: N(2), CO, and CO(2). Treatment of [Me(2)Si(η(5)-C(5)Me(4))(η(5)-C(5)H(3)-3-(t)Bu)Hf](2)(N(2)C(2)O(2)) with I(2) yielded the monomeric iodohafnocene isocyanate, Me(2)Si(η(5)-C(5)Me(4))(η(5)-C(5)H(3)-3-(t)Bu)Hf(I)(NCO), demonstrating that C-C bond formation is reversible. Alkylation of the oxamidide ligand in [(η(5)-C(5)Me(4)H)(2)Hf](2)(N(2)C(2)O(2)) was explored due to the high symmetry of the complex. A host of sequential 1,2-addition reactions with various alkyl halides was discovered and both N- and N,N'-alkylated products were obtained. Treatment with Br?nsted acids such as HCl or ethanol liberates the free oxamides, H(R(1))NC(O)C(O)N(R(2))H, which are useful precursors for N,N'-diamines, N-heterocyclic carbenes, and other heterocycles. Oxamidide functionalization in [(η(5)-C(5)Me(4)H)(2)Hf](2)(N(2)C(2)O(2)) was also accomplished with silanes and terminal alkynes, resulting in additional N-Si and N-H bond formation, respectively.  相似文献

The oxygen-atom-transfer (OAT) from [(t)BuOCO]Cr(V)(O)(THF) (2) (where (t)BuOCO = [2,6-C(6)H(3)(6-(t)BuC(6)H(3)O)(2)](3-), THF = tetrahydrofuran) to triphenylphosphine (PPh(3)) in THF produces [(t)BuOCO]Cr(III)(THF)(3) (1) and triphenylphosphine oxide (OPPh(3)) at a rate of 69.5(±1.9) M(-1) s(-1) (22 °C). Identical rate constants were attained when acetonitrile (MeCN) and dichloromethane/THF (CH(2)Cl(2)/THF) were used as solvents. Electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) data shows that the six-coordinate complex, [(t)BuOCO]Cr(V)(O)(THF)(2) (2a) forms upon addition of THF to 2, suggesting 2a as the active OAT species in THF. Similarly, addition of OPPh(3) has no influence on the rate of OAT, but the addition of triphenylphosphorus ylide (CH(2)PPh(3)) to form [(t)BuOCO]Cr(V)(O)(CH(2)PPh(3)) (4) prevents OAT to PPh(3). In CH(2)Cl(2), a [Cr(IV)](2)(μ-O) intermediate forms during the OAT from 2 to PPh(3). The OAT from {[(t)BuOCO]Cr(IV)(THF)}(2)(μ-O) (3) to PPh(3) reveals a zero-order dependence in PPh(3) indicating the dimer must first dissociate prior to OAT. The decay of 3versus time does not follow first-order kinetics due to the formation of a [(t)BuOCO]Cr(III)(THF) species (5) that inhibits the dissociation of 3. The change in concentration of 3versus time during OAT was simulated to obtain approximate rate constants.  相似文献

The [Z(2)Ln(THF)](2)(mu-eta(2)():eta(2)()-N(2)) complexes (Z = monoanionic ligand) generated by reduction of dinitrogen with trivalent lanthanide salts and alkali metals are strong reductants in their own right and provide another option in reductive lanthanide chemistry. Hence, lanthanide-based reduction chemistry can be effected in a diamagnetic trivalent system using the dinitrogen reduction product, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)(THF)La](2)(mu-eta(2)():eta(2)()-N(2)), 1, readily obtained from [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La][BPh(4)], KC(8), and N(2). Complex 1 reduces phenazine, cyclooctatetraene, anthracene, and azobenzene to form [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(3):eta(3)-(C(12)H(8)N(2))], 2, (C(5)Me(5))La(C(8)H(8)), 3, [(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(3):eta(3)-(C(14)H(10))], 4, and [(C(5)Me(5))La(mu-eta(2)-(PhNNPh)(THF)](2), 5, respectively. Neither stilbene nor naphthalene are reduced by 1, but 1 reduces CO to make the ketene carboxylate complex {[(C(5)Me(5))(2)La](2)[mu-eta(4)-O(2)C-C=C=O](THF)}(2), 6, that contains CO-derived carbon atoms completely free of oxygen.  相似文献

Reactivity studies of oxo-Mo(IV) complexes, Tp(iPr)MoO{2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)R-κ(2)O,O'} (R = Me, Et, OMe, OEt, OPh, NHPh), containing chelated hydrogen-bond donor/acceptor phenolate ligands are reported. Hydrolysis/oxidation of Tp(iPr)MoO(2-OC(6)H(4)CO(2)Ph-κ(2)O,O') in the presence of methanol yields tetranuclear [Tp(iPr)MoO(μ-O)(2)MoO](2)(μ-OMe)(2) (1), while condensation of Tp(iPr)MoO{2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)Me-κ(2)O,O'} and methylamine gives the chelated iminophenolate complex, Tp(iPr)MoO{2-OC(6)H(4)C(Me)NMe-κ(2)O,N} (2), rather than the aqua complex, Tp(iPr)MoO{2-OC(6)H(4)C(Me)NMe-κO}(OH(2)). The oxo-Mo(IV) complexes are readily oxidized by dioxygen or hydrogen peroxide to the corresponding cis-dioxo-Mo(VI) complexes, Tp(iPr)MoO(2){2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)R}; in addition, suitable one-electron oxidants, e.g., [FeCp(2)]BF(4) and [N(C(6)H(4)Br)(3)][SbCl(6)], oxidize the complexes to their EPR-active (g(iso) ≈ 1.942) molybdenyl counterparts (3, 4). Molybdenyl complexes such as Tp(iPr)MoOCl{2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)R} (5) and Tp(iPr)MoOCl(2) also form when the complexes react with chlorinated solvents. The ester derivatives (R = OMe, OEt, OPh) react with propylene sulfide to form cis-oxosulfido-Mo(VI) complexes, Tp(iPr)MoOS{2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)R}, that crystallize as dimeric μ-disulfido-Mo(V) species, [Tp(iPr)MoO{2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)R}](2)(μ-S(2)) (6-8). The crystal structures of [Tp(iPr)MoO(μ-O)(2)MoO](2)(μ-OMe)(2), Tp(iPr)MoO{2-OC(6)H(4)C(Me)NMe}, Tp(iPr)MoOCl{2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)NHPh}·{2-HOC(6)H(4)C(O)NHPh}, and [Tp(iPr)MoO{2-OC(6)H(4)C(O)R}](2)(μ-S(2)) (R = OMe, OEt) are reported.  相似文献

A synthetic route to the new amidine (DipNH)(DipN)C(C(6)H(4)Bu(t)-4) (ButisoH; Dip = C(6)H(3)Pr(i)(2)-2,6) has been developed. Its deprotonation with either LiBu(n) or KN(SiMe(3))(2) yields the amidinate complexes [M(Butiso)] (M = Li or K). Their reactions with group 14 element halides/pseudohalides afford the heteroleptic group 14 complexes [(Butiso)SiCl(3)], [(Butiso)ECl] (E = Ge or Sn), and [{(Butiso)Pb(μ-O(3)SCF(3))(THF)}(∞)], all of which have been crystallographically characterized. In addition, the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of the homoleptic complex [Pb(Butiso)(2)] is reported. Reductions of the heteroleptic complexes with a soluble magnesium(I) dimer, [{((Mes)Nacnac)Mg}(2)] ((Mes)Nacnac = [(MesNCMe)(2)CH](-); Mes = mesityl), have given moderate-to-high yields of the group 14 element(I) dimers [{(Butiso)E}(2)] (E = Si, Ge, or Sn), the X-ray crystallographic studies of which reveal trans-bent structures. The corresponding lead(I) complex could not be prepared. Comprehensive spectroscopic and theoretical analyses of [{(Butiso)E}(2)] have allowed their properties to be compared. All complexes possess E-E single bonds and can be considered as intramolecularly base-stabilized examples of ditetrelynes, REER. Taken as a whole, this study highlights the synthetic utility of soluble and easy to prepare magnesium(I) dimers as valuable alternatives to the harsh, and often insoluble, alkali-metal reducing agents that are currently widely employed in the synthesis of low-oxidation-state organometallic/inorganic complexes.  相似文献

The condensation reaction of resorcinol with cis-[ClP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu] produced a difunctional derivative 1,3-C(6)H(4)[OP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu](2) (1), whereas the similar reaction with [ClP(μ-N(t)Bu)](2) resulted in the formation of a 1:1 mixture of dimeric and tetrameric species, [{P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (2a) and [{P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](4) (2b), which were separated by repeated fractional crystallization and column chromatography. The reaction of dimer 2a with H(2)O(2) and selenium produces tetrachalcogenides [{(O)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (3) and [{(Se)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (4), respectively. The reaction between the dimer (2a) and [Pd(μ-Cl)(η(3)-C(3)H(5))](2) or AuCl(SMe(2)) yielded the corresponding tetranuclear complexes, [{((Cl)(η(3)-C(3)H(5))Pd)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (5) and [{(ClAu)P(μ-N(t)Bu)}(2){1,3-(O)(2)-C(6)H(4)}](2) (6) in good yield. The complexes 5 and 6 are the rare examples of phosphorus macrocycles containing two or more exocyclic transition metal fragments. Treatment of 1 with copper halides in 1:1 molar ratio resulted in the formation of one-dimensional (1D) coordination polymers, [(CuX){1,3-C(6)H(4){OP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu}}(2)](n) (7, X = Cl; 8, X = Br; 9, X = I), which showed the helical structure in solid state because of intramolecular hydrogen bonding, whereas similar reactions of 1 with 4 equiv of copper halides also produced 1D-coordination polymers, [(Cu(2)X(2))(2){1,3-C(6)H(4){OP(μ-N(t)Bu)(2)PN(H)(t)Bu}(2)}](n) (10, X = Cl; 11, X = Br; 12, X = I), but containing Cu(2)X(2) rhomboids instead of CuX linkers. The crystal structures of 1, 2a, 2b, 4, 7-9, and 12 were established by X-ray diffraction studies.  相似文献

The reactions of the bulky amino-bis(phenol) ligand Me(2)NCH(2)CH(2)N[CH(2)-3,5-Bu(t)(2)-C(6)H(2)OH-2](2)(1-H(2)) with Zn[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)(4), [Mg[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)](2)(5) and Ca[N(SiMe(3))(2)](2)(THF)(2)(6) yield the complexes 1-Zn, 1-Mg and 1-Ca in good yields. The X-ray structure of 1-Ca showed the complex to be dimeric, with calcium in a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Five of the positions are occupied by an N(2)O(3) donor set, while the sixth is taken up by an intramolecular close contact to an o-Bu(t) substituent, a rare case of a Ca...H-C agostic interaction (Ca...H distances of 2.37 and 2.41 Angstroms). Another sterically hindered calcium complex, Ca[2-Bu(t)-6-(C(6)F(5)N=CH)C(6)H(3)O](2)(THF)(2).(C(7)H(8))(2/3)(7), was prepared by reaction of 6 with the iminophenol 2-Bu(t)-6-(C(6)F(5)N=CH)C(6)H(3)OH (3-H). According to the crystal structure 7 is monomeric and octahedral, with trans THF ligands. The complex Ti[N[CH(2)-3-Bu(t)-5-Me-C(6)H(2)O-2](2)[CH(2)CH(2)NMe(2)]](OPr(i))(2)(2-Ti) was prepared by treatment of Ti(OPr(i)(4)) with the new amino-bis(phenol) Me(2)NCH(2)CH(2)N[CH(2)-3-Bu(t)-5-Me-C(6)H(2)OH-2](2)(2-H(2)). The reduction of 2-Ti with sodium amalgam gave the titanium(III) salt Ti[N[CH(2)-3-Bu(t)-5-Me-C(6)H(2)O-2](2)[CH(2)CH(2)NMe(2)]](OPr(i))(2).Na(THF)(2)(8). A comparison of the X-ray structures of 2-Ti and 8 showed that the additional electron in 8 significantly reduced the intensity of the pi-bonding from the oxygen atoms of the isopropoxide groups to titanium. 1-Ca and 8 were active initiators for the ring-opening polymerisation of epsilon-caprolactone (up to 97% conversion of 200 equivalents in 2 hours) and yielded polymers with narrow molecular weight distributions.  相似文献

Metathesis reactions between either SrI(2) or BaI(2) and 2 equiv of the potassium phosphanide [[(Me(3)Si)(2)CH]-(C(6)H(4)-2-OMe)P]K yield, after recrystallization, the complexes [[([Me(3)Si](2)CH)(C(6)H(4)-2-OMe)P](2)M(THF)(n)] [M = Sr, n = 2 (5); Ba, n = 3 (6)]. Similar metathesis reactions between MI(2) and 2 equiv of the more sterically demanding potassium phosphanide [[(Me(3)Si)(2)CH](C(6)H(3)-2-OMe-3-Me)P]K yield the chemically isostructural complexes [[([Me(3)Si](2)CH)(C(6)H(3)-2-OMe-3-Me)P](2)M(THF)(2)] [M = Ca (9), Sr (7), Ba (8)]. Compounds 5-9 have been characterized by multi-element NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. Complex 9 is thermally unstable and decomposes at room temperature to give the tertiary phosphane [(Me(3)Si)(2)CH](C(6)H(3)-2-OMe-3-Me)P(Me) and an unidentified Ca-containing product. Compounds 5 and 6 also decompose at elevated temperatures to give the corresponding tertiary phosphane [(Me(3)Si)(2)CH](C(6)H(4)-2-OMe)P(Me) and intractable metal-containing products. The decomposition of 5, 6, and 9 suggests that these compounds undergo an intramolecular methyl migration from the O atom in one phosphanide ligand to the P atom of an adjacent phosphanide ligand to give species containing dianionic alkoxo-phosphanide ligands.  相似文献
