In this paper, we consider the n-widths and average widths of Besov classes in the usual Sobolev spaces. The author obtains the exact values of the average n-K widths for some Sobolev classes defined by an ordinary differential operator P(D)=multiply from i=1 to r(D-t_il), t_i∈R, in the metric L_(R), 1≤p≤∞, and identifies some optimal subspaces. Furthermore, the optimal interpolation problem for these Sobolev classes is considered by sampling the function values at some countable sets of points distributed reasonably on R, and some exact results are obtained.  相似文献

This paper concerns the problem of the Kolmogorov n-width, the linear re-width, the Gel'fand n-width and the Bernstein re-width of Sobolev classes of the periodic multivariate functions in the space Lp(Td) and the average Bernstein o-width, average Kolmogorov o-widths, the average linear o-widths of Sobolev classes of the multivariate functions in the space LP(R ), where p = (p1,…,pd), 1 < Pj < ∞o, j = 1,2,…,d, or pj = ∞,j = 1,2,…, d. In this paper,we study the infinity behavior of the bounded subharmonic functions on a Ricci non-negative Riemannian manifold M.We first show that limr→∞r^2/V(r)∫B(r)△hdv=0if h is a bounded subharmonic function.If we further assume that the Laplacian decays pointwisely faster than quadratically we show that h approaches its supremun pointwisely at infinity,under certain auxiliary conditions on the volume growth of M.In particular,our result applies to the case when the Riemannian manifold has maximum volume growth.We also derive a representation formula in our paper,from which one can easily derive Yau‘s Liouville theorem on bounded harmonic functions.  相似文献

Consider the partly linear regression model ,where yi's are responses, xi = (xi1, xi2,…,xip)' and ti ∈T are known and nonrandom design points, T is a compact set in the real line is an unknown parameter vector, g(·) is an unknown function and {Ei} isa linear process, i.e., random variables with zeromean and variance o2e. Drawing upon B-spline estimation of g(·) and least squares estimation of 0, we construct estimators of the autocovariances of {Ei}- The uniform strong convergence rate of these estimators to their true values is then established. These results not only are a compensation for those of [23], but also have some application in modeling error structure. When the errors {Ei} are an ARMA process, our result can be used to develop a consistent procedure for determining the order of the ARMA process and identifying the non-zero coefficients of the process. Moreover, our result can be used to construct the asymptotically efficient estimators for parameters in the ARMA error process.  相似文献
