Let k be a positive integer and F be a family of meromorphic functions in a domain DC such that each fF has only zeros of multiplicity at least k+1. If for each pair (f, g) in F, ff(k) and gg(k) share a non-zero complex number a ignoring multiplicity, then F is normal in D.  相似文献

Let k be a positive integer with k?2; let h(?0) be a holomorphic function which has no simple zeros in D; and let F be a family of meromorphic functions defined in D, all of whose poles are multiple, and all of whose zeros have multiplicity at least k+1. If, for each function fF, f(k)(z)≠h(z), then F is normal in D.  相似文献

Let F be a family of meromorphic functions defined in a domain D such that for each fF, all zeros of f(z) are of multiplicity at least 3, and all zeros of f(z) are of multiplicity at least 2 in D. Let k be a positive integer, b ≠ 0 be a finite complex number, let P be a polynomial with either deg P ≥ 3 or deg P = 2 and P having only one distinct zero, and let F{\mathcal{F}} be a family of functions meromorphic in a domain D, all of whose zeros have multiplicities at least k. If, each pair of functions f and g in F, P(f)f(k){\mathcal{F}, P(f)f^{(k)}} and P(g)g (k) share b in D, then F{\mathcal{F}} is normal in D.  相似文献

Let k be a positive integer and let ${\mathcal F}Let k be a positive integer and let F{\mathcal F} be a family of functions meromorphic in a plane domain D, all of whose zeros have multiplicity at least k + 3. If there exists a subset E of D which has no accumulation points in D such that for each function f ? F{f\in\mathcal F}, f (k)(z) − 1 has no zeros in D\E{D\setminus E}, then F{\mathcal F} is normal. The number k + 3 is sharp. The proof uses complex dynamics.  相似文献

The paper is devoted to the normal families of meromorphic functions and shared functions. Generalizing a result of Chang (2013), we prove the following theorem. Let h (≠≡ 0,∞) be a meromorphic function on a domain D and let k be a positive integer. Let F be a family of meromorphic functions on D, all of whose zeros have multiplicity at least k + 2, such that for each pair of functions f and g from F, f and g share the value 0, and f(k) and g(k) share the function h. If for every fF, at each common zero of f and h the multiplicities mf for f and mh for h satisfy mfmh + k + 1 for k > 1 and mf ≥ 2mh + 3 for k = 1, and at each common pole of f and h, the multiplicities nf for f and nh for h satisfy nfnh + 1, then the family F is normal on D.  相似文献

Normal families of meromorphic functions with multiple values   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Let F be a family of meromorphic functions defined in a domain D, let ψ(?0) be a holomorphic function in D, and k be a positive integer. Suppose that, for every function fF, f≠0, f(k)≠0, and all zeros of f(k)−ψ(z) have multiplicities at least (k+2)/k. If, for k=1, ψ has only zeros with multiplicities at most 2, and for k?2, ψ has only simple zeros, then F is normal in D. This improves and generalizes the related results of Gu, Fang and Chang, Yang, Schwick, et al.  相似文献

For a homoclinic class H(p f ) of f ?? Diff1(M), f?OH(p f ) is called R-robustly entropy-expansive if for g in a locally residual subset around f, the set ?? ? (x) = {y ?? M: dist(g n (x), g n (y)) ?? g3 (?n ?? ?)} has zero topological entropy for each x ?? H(p g ). We prove that there exists an open and dense set around f such that for every g in it, H(p g ) admits a dominated splitting of the form E ?? F 1 ?? ... ?? F k ?? G where all of F i are one-dimensional and non-hyperbolic, which extends a result of Pacifico and Vieitez for robustly entropy-expansive diffeomorphisms. Some relevant consequences are also shown.  相似文献

Let denote a periodic self map of minimal period m on the orientable surface of genus g with g>1. We study the calculation of the Nielsen periodic numbers NPn(f) and n(f). Unlike the general situation of arbitrary maps on such surfaces, strong geometric results of Jiang and Guo allow for straightforward calculations when nm. However, determining NPm(f) involves some surprises. Because fm=idFg, fm has one Nielsen class Em. This class is essential because L(idFg)=χ(Fg)=2−2g≠0. If there exists k<m with L(fk)≠0 then Em reduces to the essential fixed points of fk. There are maps g (we call them minLef maps) for which L(gk)=0 for all k<m. We show that the period of any minLef map must always divide 2g−2. We prove that for such maps Em reduces algebraically iff it reduces geometrically. This result eliminates one of the most difficult problems in calculating the Nielsen periodic point numbers and gives a complete trichotomy (non-minLef, reducible minLef, and irreducible minLef) for periodic maps on Fg.We prove that reducible minLef maps must have even period. For each of the three types of periodic maps we exhibit an example f and calculate both NPn(f) and n(f) for all n. The example of an irreducible minLef map is on F4 and is of maximal period 6. The example of a non-minLef map is on F2 and has maximal period 12 on F2. It is defined geometrically by Wang, and we provide the induced homomorphism and analyze it. The example of an irreducible minLef map is a map of period 6 on F4 defined by Yang. No algebraic analysis is necessary to prove that this last example is an irreducible minLef map. We explore the algebra involved because it is intriguing in its own right. The examples of reducible minLef maps are simple inversions, which can be applied to any Fg. Using these examples we disprove the conjecture from the conclusion of our previous paper.  相似文献

Let G be a group of order v, and f(x) be a nonzero integral polynomial. A (v, k, f(x))-polynomial addition set in G is a subset D of G with k distinct elements such that fd?Dd) = λΣg?Gg for some integer λ. We discuss the multipliers of polynomial addition sets. The structure of some polynomial addition sets is studied, and in particular, we give a complete characterization of the case where G is cyclic and f(x) is irreducible.  相似文献

The commuting graph of a ring R, denoted by Γ(R), is a graph whose vertices are all non-central elements of R and two distinct vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if xy = yx. Let D be a division ring and n ? 3. In this paper we investigate the diameters of Γ(Mn(D)) and determine the diameters of some induced subgraphs of Γ(Mn(D)), such as the induced subgraphs on the set of all non-scalar non-invertible, nilpotent, idempotent, and involution matrices in Mn(D). For every field F, it is shown that if Γ(Mn(F)) is a connected graph, then diam Γ(Mn(F)) ? 6. We conjecture that if Γ(Mn(F)) is a connected graph, then diam Γ(Mn(F)) ? 5. We show that if F is an algebraically closed field or n is a prime number and Γ(Mn(F)) is a connected graph, then diam Γ(Mn(F)) = 4. Finally, we present some applications to the structure of pairs of idempotents which may prove of independent interest.  相似文献

The authors discuss the normality concerning holomorphic functions and get the following result. Let F be a family of holomorphic functions on a domain D ⊂ ℂ, all of whose zeros have multiplicity at least k, where k ≥ 2 is an integer. And let h(z) ≢ 0 be a holomorphic function on D. Assume also that the following two conditions hold for every fF: (a) f(z) = 0 ⇒ |f (k)(z)| < |h(z)|; (b) f (k)(z) ≠ h(z). Then F is normal on D.  相似文献

A criterion of normality based on a single holomorphic function   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Let F be a family of functions holomorphic on a domain D ⊂ ℂ Let k ≥ 2 be an integer and let h be a holomorphic function on D, all of whose zeros have multiplicity at most k −1, such that h(z) has no common zeros with any fF. Assume also that the following two conditions hold for every fF: (a) f(z) = 0 ⇒ f′(z) = h(z); and (b) f′(z) = h(z) ⇒ |f (k)(z)| ≤ c, where c is a constant. Then F is normal on D.  相似文献

Normal families of meromorphic functions concerning shared values   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
In this paper we study the problem of normal families of meromorphic functions concerning shared values and prove that a family F of meromorphic functions in a domain D is normal if for each pair of functions f and g in F, fafn and gagn share a value b in D where n is a positive integer and a,b are two finite constants such that n?4 and a≠0. This result is not true when n?3.  相似文献

Let k be a positive integer, let M be a positive number, let F be a family of meromorphic functions in a domain D, all of whose zeros are of multiplicity at least k, and let h be a holomorphic function in D, h ≢ 0. If, for every fF, f and f (k) share 0, and |f(z)| ≥ M whenever f (k)(z) = h(z), then F is normal in D. The condition that f and f (k) share 0 cannot be weakened, and the condition that |f(z)| ≥ M whenever f (k)(z) = h(z) cannot be replaced by the condition that |f(z)| ≥ 0 whenever f (k)(z) = h(z). This improves some results due to Fang and Zalcman [2] etc.  相似文献

Let G be a group of order v, and f(x) be a nonzero integral polynomial. A (v, k, f(x))-polynomial addition set in G is a subset D of G with k distinct elements such that fdDd) = λΣgGg for some integer λ. We discuss some general properties of polynomial addition sets. The relation between polynomial addition sets and polynomial Cayley digraphs is studied and, in particular, some new results on Cayley xn-digraphs and strongly regular Cayley graphs are obtained. Finally, a complete list of polynomial addition sets with certain restrictions on parameters is given.  相似文献

Let G be a finite abelian group of order n and Davenport constant D(G). Let S=0h(S)gGgvg(S)∈F(G) be a sequence with a maximal multiplicity h(S) attained by 0 and t=|S|?n+D(G)−1. Then 0∈k(S) for every 1?k?t+1−D(G). This is a refinement of the fundamental result of Gao [W.D. Gao, A combinatorial problem on finite abelian groups, J. Number Theory 58 (1996) 100-103].  相似文献

On Montel's theorem and Yang's problem   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Let F be a family of meromorphic functions defined in a domain D, and let ψ be a function meromorphic in D. For every function fF, if (1)f has only multiple zeros; (2) the poles of f have multiplicity at least 3; (3) at the common poles of f and ψ, the multiplicity of f does not equal the multiplicity of ψ; (4)f(z)≠ψ(z), then F is normal in D. This gives a partial answer to a problem of L. Yang, and generalizes Montel's theorem. Some examples are given to show the sharpness of our result.  相似文献
