绝大多数现有的格子波尔兹曼磁流体动力学模型其实是用可压缩方法来模拟不可压磁流体。而这些可压缩效应在数值模拟中往往会带来意想不到的误差。在这篇文章中,我们提出了一个全新的可用于的不可压格子波尔兹曼磁流体动力学模型,并且进行了哈特曼流的数值模拟。模拟结果与哈特曼流的解析解非常吻合。这个方法需要一个假设条件来消除误差。我们做了大量的数值试验,并且与Dellar教授的模型进行了详细的分析与比较。  相似文献

Two three-dimensional (3D) lattice Boltzmann models in the framework of coupled double-distribution-function approach for compressible flows, in which specific-heat ratio and Prandtl number can be adjustable, are developed in this paper. The main differences between the two models are discrete equilibrium density and total energy distribution function. One is the D3Q25 model obtained from spherical function, and the other is the D3Q27 standard lattice model obtained from Hermite expansions of the corresponding continuous equilibrium distribution functions. The two models are tested by numerical simulations of some typical compressible flows, and their numerical stability and precision are also analysed. The results indicate that the two models are capable for supersonic flows, while the one from Hermite expansions is not suitable for compressible flows with shock waves.  相似文献

In this paper, a three-dimensional (3D) finite-difference lattice Boltzmann model for simulating compressible flows with shock waves is developed in the framework of the double-distribution-function approach. In the model, a density distribution function is adopted to model the flow field, while a total energy distribution function is adopted to model the temperature field. The discrete equilibrium density and total energy distribution functions are derived from the Hermite expansions of the continuous equilibrium distribution functions. The discrete velocity set is obtained by choosing the abscissae of a suitable Gauss–Hermite quadrature with sufficient accuracy. In order to capture the shock waves in compressible flows and improve the numerical accuracy and stability, an implicit–explicit finite-difference numerical technique based on the total variation diminishing flux limitation is introduced to solve the discrete kinetic equations. The model is tested by numerical simulations of some typical compressible flows with shock waves ranging from 1D to 3D. The numerical results are found to be in good agreement with the analytical solutions and/or other numerical results reported in the literature.  相似文献

This paper at first shows the details of finite volume-based lattice Boltzmann method (FV-LBM) for simulation of compressible flows with shock waves. In the FV-LBM, the normal convective flux at the interface of a cell is evaluated by using one-dimensional compressible lattice Boltzmann model, while the tangential flux is calculated using the same way as used in the conventional Euler solvers. The paper then presents a platform to construct one-dimensional compressible lattice Boltzmann model for its use in FV-LBM. The platform is formed from the conservation forms of moments. Under the platform, both the equilibrium distribution functions and lattice velocities can be determined, and therefore, non-free parameter model can be developed. The paper particularly presents three typical non-free parameter models, D1Q3, D1Q4 and D1Q5. The performances of these three models for simulation of compressible flows are investigated by a brief analysis and their application to solve some one-dimensional and two-dimensional test problems. Numerical results showed that D1Q3 model costs the least computation time and D1Q4 and D1Q5 models have the wider application range of Mach number. From the results, it seems that D1Q4 model could be the best choice for the FV-LBM simulation of hypersonic flows.  相似文献

In this paper, a lattice Boltzmann model for the Fisher equation is proposed. First, the Chapman-Enskog expansion and the multiscale time expansion are used to describe higher-order moment of equilibrium distribution functions and a series of partial differential equations in different time scales. Second, the modified partial differential equation of the Fisher equation with the higher-order truncation error is obtained. Third, comparison between numerical results of the lattice Boltzmann models and exact solution is given. The numerical results agree well with the classical ones.  相似文献

Lattice Boltzmann Method is recently developed within numerical schemes for simulating a variety of physical systems. In this paper a new lattice Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook (LBGK) model for two-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamics (IMHD) is presented. The model is an extension of a hydrodynamics lattice BGK model with 9 velocities on a square lattice, resulting in a model with 17 velocities. Most of the existing LBGK models for MHD can be viewed as compressible schemes to simulate incompressible flows. The compressible effect might lead to some undesirable errors in numerical simulations. In our model the compressible effect has been overcome successfully. The model is then applied to the Hartmann flow, giving reasonable results.  相似文献

We present an energy-conserving multiple-relaxation-time finite difference lattice Boltzmann model for compressible flows. The collision step is first calculated in the moment space and then mapped back to the velocity space. The moment space and corresponding transformation matrix are constructed according to the group representation theory. Equilibria of the nonconserved moments are chosen according to the need of recovering compressible Navier-Stokes equations through the Chapman-Enskog expansion. Numerical experiments showed that compressible flows with strong shocks can be well simulated by the present model. The new model works for both low and high speeds compressible flows. It contains more physical information and has better numerical stability and accuracy than its single-relaxation-time version.  相似文献

In this paper we address the problem of the time evolution of a perturbation around a steady base flow with the use of the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM). This approach, named base flow lattice Boltzmann method, is of great interest in particular for aeroacoustic fields where the acoustic perturbation, on the one hand, is almost exclusively influenced by the large scale average structures of the underlying flow, and on the other hand, has a low effect on the large structures. The method is implemented for weakly compressible flows and the results of the base flow lattice Boltzmann are compared with the standard single relaxation time LBM. The boundary conditions for the base flow lattice Boltzmann method are discussed, as well as the implementation of outflow conditions for acoustic waves.  相似文献

In this paper a theory is formulated that predicts velocity and spatial correlations between occupation numbers that occur in lattice gas automata violating semi-detailed balance. Starting from a coupled BBGKY hierarchy for then-particle distribution functions, cluster expansion techniques are used to derive approximate kinetic equations. In zeroth approximation the standard nonlnear Boltzmann equation is obtained; the next approximation yields the ring kinetic equation, similar to that for hard-sphere systems, describing the time evolution of pair correlations. The ring equation is solved to determine the (nonvanishing) pair correlation functions in equilibrium for two models that violate semidetailed balance. One is a model of interacting random walkers on a line, the other one is a two-dimensional fluid-type model on a triangular lattice. The numerical predictions agree very well with computer simulations.  相似文献

In this paper we develop a lattice Boltzmann model for the generalized Burgers-Huxley equation (GBHE). By choosing the proper time and space scales and applying the Chapman-Enskog expansion, the governing equation is recovered correctly from the lattice Boltzmann equation, and the local equilibrium distribution functions are obtained. Excellent agreement with the exact solution is observed, and better numerical accuracy is obtained than the available numerical result. The results indicate the present model is satisfactory and efficient. The method can also be applied to the generalized Burgers-Fisher equation and be extended to multidimensional cases.  相似文献

建立自然对流作用下融化的格子Boltzmann双分布函数模型,根据非线性对流扩散方程的格子Boltzmann模型理论提出一个新的表征融化温度场的分布函数演化方程,并通过变松弛时间方法处理固液两相变热物性传热问题.应用模型对热传导融化及自然对流融化特别固液变热物的融化过程进行模拟.模拟结果与分析解、经典的关联式结果吻合较好,模型的正确性得到了验证.模拟结果表明,自然对流对融化传热过程有着重要的影响,此外固相热传导也对融化传热、融化速率及固液两相温度分布都有一定影响.  相似文献

It is shown how shear-thinning flow can be simulated without the need for numerical differentiation by following a lattice Boltzmann approach. The basic idea of is to combine the Cross model of viscosity with a 3D multiple relaxation time lattice Boltzmann method and to extract the required velocity derivatives from intrinsic quantities of the lattice Boltzmann scheme. We present the numerical results of simulations of complex fluids under shear flow. We employ a mixed approach which combines the lattice Boltzmann method for solving the Navier–Stokes equation and a finite difference scheme for the convection–diffusion equation. The evolution in time of shear banding phenomenon is studied. The central problem of the lattice Boltzmann method (LBM) is to construct a discrete equilibrium. In this paper, a multi-speed 1D cell-model of Boltzmann equation is proposed, in which the cell-population equilibrium, a direct non-negative approximation to the continuous Maxwellian distribution, plays an important part. By applying the explicit one-order Chapman--Enskog distribution, the model reduces the transportation and collision, two basic evolution steps in LBM, to the transportation of the non-equilibrium distribution. Furthermore, 1D dam-break problem is performed and the numerical results agree well with the analytic solutions.  相似文献

We consider the lattice Boltzmann method for immiscible multiphase flow simulations. Classical lattice Boltzmann methods for this problem, e.g. the colour gradient method or the free energy approach, can only be applied when density and viscosity ratios are small. Moreover, they use additional fields defined on the whole domain to describe the different phases and model phase separation by special interactions at each node. In contrast, our approach simulates the flow using a single field and separates the fluid phases by a free moving interface. The scheme is based on the lattice Boltzmann method and uses the level set method to compute the evolution of the interface. To couple the fluid phases, we develop new boundary conditions which realise the macroscopic jump conditions at the interface and incorporate surface tension in the lattice Boltzmann framework. Various simulations are presented to validate the numerical scheme, e.g. two-phase channel flows, the Young–Laplace law for a bubble and viscous fingering in a Hele-Shaw cell. The results show that the method is feasible over a wide range of density and viscosity differences.  相似文献
