In this article, the extended Riccati equation method is applied to seeking more general exact travelling wave solutions of the ZK equation. The traveling wave solutions are expressed by the hyperbolic functions, the trigonometric functions and the rational functions. When the parameters are taken as special values, the solitary wave solutions are obtained from the hyperbolic function solutions. Similarly, the periodic wave solutions are also obtained from the trigonometric function solutions. The approach developed in this paper is effective and it may also be used for solving many other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

In this paper, an extended simplest equation method is proposed to seek exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. As applications, many new exact travelling wave solutions for several forms of the fifth-order KdV equation are obtained by using our method. The forms include the Lax, Sawada-Kotera, Sawada-Kotera-Parker-Dye, Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon, Kaup-Kupershmidt, Kaup-Kupershmidt-Parker-Dye, and the Ito forms.  相似文献

In this paper, we employ the general integral method for traveling wave solutions of coupled nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations. Based on the idea of the exact Jacobi elliptic function, a simple and efficient method is proposed for obtaining exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. The solutions obtained include solitons, periodic solutions and Jacobi elliptic function solutions.  相似文献

In this paper, the auxiliary function method is proposed by studying the symmetrical Lucas sine function and symmetrical Lucas cosine function. This is the first time that the symmetrical Lucas functions are used to solve the solutions of the differential and difference equations. Then the method is applied to the lattice equation. In this paper, we establish new solitary wave solutions to the modified Kawahara equation by the sine-cosine method. Moreover, the periodic solutions and bell-shaped solitons solutions to the generalized fifth-order KdV equation are obtained. The tanh method is used to handle the double sine-Gordon equation and the double sinh-Gordon equation. Families of exact travelling wave solutions are formally derived. The rational triangle sine-cosine method is introduced and to be constructed complex solutions to the modified Degasperis-Procesi (DP) equation and the modified Camassa-Holm (CH) equation.  相似文献

In this paper we employ a rational expansion to generalize Fan’s method for exact travelling wave solutions for nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs). To verify the reliability of the proposed method, the generalized shallow water wave (GSWW) equation has been investigated as an example. Kinds of new exact travelling wave solutions of a rational form have been obtained. In this paper, we use the bifurcation method of dynamical systems to study the periodic wave solutions and their limits for the modified Kd V–KP equations. Some explicit periodic wave solutions are obtained. These solutions contain smooth periodic wave solutions and periodic blow-up solutions. In this paper, we combine the unified and the explicit exponential finite difference methods to obtain both analytical and numerical solutions for the Newell-Whitehead-Segel–type equations which are very important in mathematical biology. The unified method is utilized to obtain various solitary wave solutions for these equations. Numerical solutions of the specific case studies are investigated by using the explicit exponential finite difference method ensures the accuracy and reliability of the proposed scheme. After obtaining the approximate solutions, convergence analysis and error estimation (the error norms and absolute errors) are presented by comparing these results with the analytical obtained solutions and other methods in the literature through tables and graphs. The obtained analytical and numerical results are in good agreement.  相似文献

We make use of the homogeneous balance method and symbolic computation to construct new exact traveling wave solutions for the Benjamin-Bona-Mahoney (BBM) equation. Many new exact traveling wave solutions are successfully obtained, which contain rational and periodic-like solutions. In this paper, many new explicit and exact travelling wave solutions for Burgers-Kolmogorov-Petrovskii-Piscounov(Burgers-KPP) equations are obtained by using hyperbola function method and Wu-elimination method, which include new singular solitary wave solutions and periodic solutions. Particular important cases of the equation, such as the generalized Burgers-Fisher equation, Burgers-Chaffee infante equation and KPP equation, the corresponding solutions can be obtained also. In this paper, the generalized extended tanh-function method is used for constructing the traveling wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. We choose Fisher's equation, the nonlinear schrödinger equation to illustrate the validity and advantages of the method. Many new and more general traveling wave solutions are obtained.
