A solution of polyamide (PA) containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) as a side low‐molecular‐weight polymer was electrospun. After synthesizing the PA–PEG nanofibers, the constituent was subsequently removed (modified PA) and confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The scanning electron microscopy images showed an average diameter of 640 and 148 nm for PA and PA–PEG coatings, respectively, while the latter coating structure was more homogeneous and porous. The extraction efficiencies of PA, PA–PEG, and the modified PA fiber coatings were assayed by headspace solid‐phase microextraction of a number of chlorophenols from real water samples followed by their determination by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry. To prepare the most appropriate coatings, the amounts and the flow rate of the electrospinning solution were investigated. Various extraction parameters, such as the salt content, desorption condition, extraction temperature, and time were optimized. The limits of detection of the method were in the range of 0.8–25 ng/L, while the RSDs at two concentration levels of 200 and 80 ng/L were between 2.1 and 12.2%. The analysis of real water samples led to relative recoveries between 85 and 98% with a linearity of 8–1500 ng/L.  相似文献

In this study, the viability of two membrane‐based microextraction techniques for the determination of endocrine disruptors by high‐performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection was evaluated: hollow fiber microporous membrane liquid–liquid extraction and hollow‐fiber‐supported dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction. The extraction efficiencies obtained for methylparaben, ethylparaben, bisphenol A, benzophenone, and 2‐ethylhexyl‐4‐methoxycinnamate from aqueous matrices obtained using both approaches were compared and showed that hollow fiber microporous membrane liquid–liquid extraction exhibited higher extraction efficiency for most of the compounds studied. Therefore, a detailed optimization of the extraction procedure was carried out with this technique. The optimization of the extraction conditions and liquid desorption were performed by univariate analysis. The optimal conditions for the method were supported liquid membrane with 1‐octanol for 10 s, sample pH 7, addition of 15% w/v of NaCl, extraction time of 30 min, and liquid desorption in 150 μL of acetonitrile/methanol (50:50 v/v) for 5 min. The linear correlation coefficients were higher than 0.9936. The limits of detection were 0.5–4.6 μg/L and the limits of quantification were 2–16 μg/L. The analyte relative recoveries were 67–116%, and the relative standard deviations were less than 15.5%.  相似文献

The dummy molecularly imprinted polymers were prepared by Pickering emulsion polymerization. 4,4′‐(1‐Phenylethylidene) bisphenol was selected as the dummy template to avoid the leakage of the target bisphenols. The microsphere particles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption–desorption measurements, demonstrating that the regular‐shaped and medium‐sized particles (40–70 μm) were obtained with a specific surface area of 355.759 m2/g and a total pore volume of 0.561 cm3/g. The molecular imprinting properties of the particles were evaluated by static adsorption and chromatographic evaluation experiments. The association constant and maximum adsorption amount of bisphenol A were 0.115 mmol/L and 3.327 μmol/g using Scatchard analysis. The microsphere particles were then used as a solid‐phase extraction sorbent for selective extraction of seven bisphenols. The method of dummy molecularly imprinted solid‐phase extraction coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography and diode array detection was successfully established for the extraction and determination of seven bisphenols from environmental sediment samples with method detection limits of 0.6–1.1 ng/g. Good recoveries (75.5–105.2%) for sediment samples at two spiking levels (500 and 250 ng/g) and reproducibility (RSDs < 7.7%, n = 3) were obtained.  相似文献

This review includes one hundred and two peer reviewed papers that focus on metabolic residues of the two most used licit drugs globally, nicotine (nicotine, cotinine, trans-3’-hydroxycotinine – HCOT) and alcohol (ethyl sulphate and ethyl glucuronide), in waste- and environmental waters. Sampling strategies and analytical methods are also summarised and discussed. Although grab sampling is the most widely applied method for collecting environmental samples (74% cases), wastewater samples are typically composite samples collected automatically at the wastewater treatment plants (66% cases). Sample preparation and analysis usually include solid-phase extraction (SPE) followed by reverse-phased liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry detection (RP-LC-MS/MS) for nicotine residues. In contrast, alcohol residues are commonly determined via direct injection onto the LC-MS/MS using an ion-pair reagent to improve retention, leaving room for method improvement, e.g., introducing a suitable extraction procedure to achieve lower detection limits and quantification. In comparison to alcohol residues, more studies look into nicotine residues (85% of the studies). Concentration ranges for nicotine, cotinine, HCOT and ethyl sulphate were < 424,000, < 42,300, 50–52,000 and 500–33,000 ng/L in wastewater influents and 15–32,000, < 18,000, 15–1,552 and < 500 ng/L in effluents, while nicotine (12.6–947 ng/L) and cotinine (17–62 ng/L) were detected in reclaimed waters. Among environmental waters, the highest concentrations of nicotine residues were measured in surface waters (nicotine: < 9,340 ng/L, cotinine: < 6,582 ng/L and HCOT: 14–777 ng/L), while their concentrations in groundwater and drinking water were generally in the low ng/L range. This review also reveals the discrepancy between the number of studies in developed countries (90%) compared to developing countries and the need for more studies in the former, where most wastewater flows untreated into the environment.  相似文献

Tetrabromobisphenol A (4,4'-isopropylidenebis(2,6-dibromophenol), TBBPA) is the most widely used brominated flame retardant in the world. Due to its low water solubility TBBPA released in aquatic ecosystems ultimately accumulates in sediments, but the lack of data on its environmental level and temporal trend in sediment cores precludes establishing if the input of TBBPA is an on-going environmental problem. We developed an analytical method involving HPLC-ESI-MS-MS (ion trap) with detection of the negative pseudo-molecular ion of TBBPA and its fragmentation pattern. Recovery of TBBPA from spiked marine sediment (both lyophilized and wet) and dehydrated sewage sludge was better than 95%. The current detection limit of TBBPA is 60 pg injected and the linearity of the response is at least three orders of magnitude, ranging from 7 ng ml(-1) to 7000 ng ml(-1). The method was also applied to the analysis of urban sewage sludge where TBBPA was detected at a concentration of 300 ng g(-1)(dry weight). With an analysis time of less than 20 min, this method is adequate for a rapid re-assessment of archived sediment samples avoiding cumbersome derivatization procedures.  相似文献

Graphene nanosheets (GS) were prepared via solvent exfoliation, and then hybridized with dioctadecyldimethylammonium bromide (DDAB). On the single surface of DDAB and GS film, the direct oxidation activities of tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA) are improved effectively, and consequently the oxidation signals enhance obviously. Interestingly, the composite of DDAB and GS exhibits remarkable synergetic effects toward the oxidation of TBBPA, and the peak currents of TBBPA further increase greatly on the DDAB-GS composite film. The signal enhancement mechanism was studied using chronocoulometry. It is found that the greatly-increased accumulation efficiency is the main reason. As a result, a novel electrochemical sensing platform was developed for TBBPA. The linear range is from 0.1 to 400 μg L−1, and the detection limit is as low as 41.8 ng L−1 (76.8 pM). The practical applications in water samples manifest that this new determination system is accurate and feasible.  相似文献

Atmospheric water harvesting represents a promising technique to address water stress. Advanced adsorbents have been rationally designed to achieve high water uptake, yet their water sorption kinetics and regeneration temperature greatly limit water production efficiency. Herein, we demonstrated that 2D covalent organic frameworks (COFs), featuring hydrophobic skeleton, proper hydrophilic site density, and 1D open channels significantly lowered the water diffusion and desorption energy barrier. DHTA-Pa COF showed a high water uptake of 0.48 g/g at 30 % R.H. with a remarkable adsorption rate of 0.72 L/Kg/h (298 K) and a desorption rate of 2.58 L/Kg/h (333 K). Moreover, more than 90 % adsorbed water could be released within 20 min at 313 K. This kinetic performance surpassed the reported porous materials and boosted the efficiency for multiple water extraction cycles. It may shed light on the material design strategy to achieve high daily water production with low-energy input.  相似文献

The determination of 15 pyrethroids in soil and water samples was carried out by gas chromatography with mass spectrometry. Compounds were extracted from the soil samples (4 g) using solid–liquid extraction and then salting‐out assisted liquid–liquid extraction. The acetonitrile phase obtained (0.8 mL) was used as a dispersant solvent, to which 75 μL of chloroform was added as an extractant solvent, submitting the mixture to dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction. For the analysis of water samples (40 mL), magnetic solid‐phase extraction was performed using nanocomposites of magnetic nanoparticles and multiwalled carbon nanotubes as sorbent material (10 mg). The mixture was shaken for 45 min at room temperature before separation with a magnet and desorption with 3 mL of acetone using ultrasounds for 5 min. The solvent was evaporated and reconstituted with 100 μL acetonitrile before injection. Matrix‐matched calibration is recommended for quantification of soil samples, while water samples can be quantified by standards calibration. The limits of detection were in the range of 0.03–0.5 ng/g (soil) and 0.09–0.24 ng/mL (water), depending on the analyte. The analyzed environmental samples did not contain the studied pyrethroids, at least above the corresponding limits of detection.  相似文献

Abstract

A sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor based on electropolymerized molecularly imprinted polypyrrole and gold nanoparticles–multiwalled carbon nanotubes (AuNPs–MWCNTs) hybrid nanocomposites was developed for the determination of tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBPA). A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with MWCNTs, and the AuNPs–MWCNTs/GCE was prepared by an electrodeposition method in HAuCl4 solution. The AuNPs–MWCNTs nanocomposite showed high electrocatalytic activity, good conductivity, and sufficient reactive sites for the direct electro-oxidation of TBBPA. The molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) as recognition elements were synthesized through in situ electro-polymerization of pyrrole as functional monomers in the presence of the TBBPA template molecules. Under the optimal conditions, the developed sensor exhibited good selectivity towards TBBPA compared with structural analogs, high sensitivity, and excellent producibility. The electrochemical responses of the sensor toward TBBPA were obtained in the linear range from 0.5?nM to 1?μM with a limit of detection equal to 0.24?nM at a signal-to-noise ratio of 3.  相似文献

A novel adsorbent made of polydopamine‐functionalized magnetic graphene and carbon nanotubes hybrid nanocomposite was synthesized and applied to determine 16 priority polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by magnetic solid phase extraction in water samples. FTIR spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and Raman spectroscopy consistently indicate that the synthesized adsorbents are made of core–shell nanoparticles well dispersed on the surface of graphene and carbon nanotubes. The major factors affecting the extraction efficiency, including the pH value of samples, the amount of adsorbent, adsorption time and desorption time, type and volume of desorption solvent, were systematically optimized. Under the optimum extraction conditions, a linear response was obtained for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons between concentrations of 10 and 500 ng/L with the correlation coefficients ranging from 0.9958 to 0.9989, and the limits of detection (S/N = 3) were between 0.1 and 3.0 ng/L. Satisfactory results were also obtained when applying these magnetic graphene/carbon nanotubes/polydopamine hybrid nanocomposites to detect polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in several environmental aqueous samples.  相似文献

Saxitoxin, which is one of the most typical paralytic shellfish poisoning toxins, ranks the highest intoxication rate of marine biological poisoning cases globally. Efficient clean‐up and extraction of saxitoxin from complex biological matrices are imperative for the analysis and concentration monitoring of the toxin when correlative poisoning cases happen. Herein, l ‐cysteine‐modified magnetic microspheres based on metal‐organic coordination were synthesized by a facile approach and applied for magnetic solid‐phase extraction of saxitoxin from rat plasma samples before liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry detection. Parameters, including adsorbent amount, extraction time, desorption solution, and desorption time that could affect the extraction efficiency, were respectively investigated. The developed method demonstrated good linearity in the range of 5–300 ng/mL (R= 0.9985) with a limit of quantification of 5 ng/mL and a limit of detection of 0.5 ng/mL, acceptable accuracy. and precision of within‐run and between‐run.  相似文献

In this work, a simple, fast, sensitive, and environmentally friendly method was developed for preconcentration and quantitative measurement of bisphenol A in water samples using gas chromatography with mass spectrometry. The preconcentration approach, namely biosorption‐based dispersive liquid‐liquid microextraction with extractant removal by magnetic nanoparticles was performed based on the formation of microdroplet of rhamnolipid biosurfactant throughout the aqueous samples, which accelerates the mass transfer process between the extraction solvent and sample solution. The process is then followed by the application of magnetic nanoparticles for easy retrieval of the analyte‐containing extraction solvent. Several important variables were optimized comprehensively including type of disperser solvent and desorption solvent, rhamnolipid concentration, volume of disperser solvent, amount of magnetic nanoparticles, extraction time, desorption time, ionic strength, and sample pH. Under the optimized microextraction and gas chromatography with mass spectrometry conditions, the method demonstrated good linearity over the range of 0.5–500 µg/L with a coefficient of determination of R= 0.9904, low limit of detection (0.15 µg/L) and limit of quantification (0.50 µg/L) of bisphenol A, good analyte recoveries (84–120%) and acceptable relative standard deviation (1.8–14.9%, = 6). The proposed method was successfully applied to three environmental water samples, and bisphenol A was detected in all samples.  相似文献

A new type of adsorbent composed of magnetic three‐dimensional graphene coated with silver nanoparticles was synthesized by an electroless technique and used in the magnetic solid‐phase extraction of selected pesticides (fenitrothion, chlorpyrifos, and hexaconazole) before gas chromatography with a micro‐electron capture detector. The adsorbent was characterized using Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometry, and field‐emission scanning electron microscopy. The important extraction parameters such as pH, adsorbent dose, extraction time, and desorption conditions were investigated. Under the optimal conditions, the analytical figures of merit were obtained as: linear dynamic range of 0.1–5 ng/g with determination coefficients of 0.991–0.996; limit of detection of 0.07–0.13 ng/g; limit of quantification of 0.242–0.448 ng/g; and the intraday and interday relative standard deviations (= 5 ng/g, = 3) were 3.8–8.7 and 6.6–8.9%, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied for analysis of the selected pesticides in tomato and grape with extraction recoveries in the range of 72.8–109.6%.  相似文献

An in‐tube solid‐phase microextraction device was developed by packing poly(ionic liquids)‐coated stainless‐steel wires into a polyether ether ketone tube. An anion‐exchange process was performed to enhance the extraction performance. Surface properties of poly(ionic liquids)‐coated stainless‐steel wires were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X‐ray spectrometry. The extraction device was connected to high‐performance liquid chromatography equipment to build an online enrichment and analysis system. Ten polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons were used as model analytes, and important conditions including extraction time and desorption time were optimized. The enrichment factors from 268 to 2497, linear range of 0.03–20 μg/L, detection limits of 0.010–0.020 μg/L, extraction and preparation repeatability with relative standard deviation less than 1.8 and 19%, respectively were given by the established online analysis method. It has been used to detect polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental samples, with the relative recovery (5, 10 μg/L) in the range of 85.1–118.9%.  相似文献

Amyloid beta-peptide 1–42 (Aβ1–42) is one of the biomarkers of Alzheimer's disease, and its selective capture and quantitative detection are important for diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer's disease. Herein, copper(II) ions-immobilized virus-like hollow covalent organic frameworks (V-HCOFs@Cu2+) were synthesized by a facile approach. The as-prepared V-HCOFs@Cu2+ showed unique morphology, ultra-high specific surface (2552 m2/g), uniform mesoporous structure (3.2 nm), superior chemical stability and abundant binding sites. Based on these excellent properties, the V-HCOFs@Cu2+ could be adopted as an ideal enrichment probe for highly efficient capture of Aβ1–42, exhibiting high adsorption capacity (320 mg/g), and fast adsorption equilibration time (3 min). In addition, an attractive approach of the V-HCOFs@Cu2+-based matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS) was developed for the rapid screening and quantitative analysis of Aβ1–42 in human serum by using C-peptide as an internal standard, which exhibited low limit of detection (LOD, 0.2 fmol/µL), and satisfactory recovery. This work provides an alternative solution for enrichment of biomarkers and also offers the potential applications of COFs in clinical analysis  相似文献

An adsorbent of carbon dot@poly(glycidyl methacrylate)@Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been developed for the microwave‐assisted magnetic solid‐phase extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental aqueous samples prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV/visible spectroscopy detection. Poly(glycidyl methacrylate) was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization. The chain length and amount of carbon dots attached on them can be easily controlled through changing polymerization conditions, which contributes to tunable extraction performance. The successful fabrication of the nano‐adsorbent was confirmed by transmission electronic microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry. The extraction performance of the adsorbent was evaluated by using polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons as model analytes. The key factors influencing the extraction, such as microwave power, adsorption time, desorption time and desorption solvents were investigated in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the microwave‐assisted method afforded magnetic solid‐phase extraction with short extraction time, wide dynamic linear range (0.02–200 μg/L), good linearity (R2 ≥ 98.57%) and low detection limits (20–90 ng/L) for model analytes. The adsorbent was successfully applied for analyzing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental aqueous samples and the recoveries were in the range of 86.0–124.2%. Thus, the proposed method is a promising candidate for fast and reliable preconcentration of trace polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in real water samples.  相似文献

A simple method is introduced providing a highly clean microextraction for the determination of some anti‐inflammatory drugs as the model analytes in human urine and environmental matrices. This method is based upon the implementation of two consecutive emulsification liquid‐phase microextractions, which are separated by a syringe filtration step. In this method, the organic extraction solvent (dihexyl ether) is dispersed into the aqueous sample solution (20 mL), and the resulting cloudy mixture is passed through a hydrophilic polytetrafluoroethylene syringe filter. By this action, the extraction phase containing the analytes and many interfering species that could be transferred into the organic phase is retained behind the hydrophilic membrane. The filter is then detached from the syringe and attached to another syringe containing an aqueous solution (pH 12.0, 150 μL), and by the in‐syringe dispersion of the organic phase into the aqueous phase, the analytes are selectively back‐extracted into the aqueous phase. The developed method is centrifuge‐free and very simple, and provides a high sample clean‐up in a few minutes. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the developed method provided a linearity in the range of 2.0–2000 ng/mL, a low limit of detection (0.5 ng/mL), and enrichment factors of 47–53.  相似文献

A novel hybrid triazine‐imine core‐shell magnetic covalent organic polymer with high adsorption capacity and excellent stability was fabricated by surface‐assisted in situ growth technique. The composite possesses porous and extended π‐conjugated system, and was applied as the magnetic sorbent for efficient enrichment and rapid separation of pesticides. A new analytical method for simultaneous determination of eight pesticides in fruit samples was developed by magnetic solid phase extraction combined with ultra high performance liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry. The effect of extraction time, desorption time, and the type of desorption solvent on the extraction efficiency were evaluated. The established method shows good repeatability and high sensitivity. The repeatability of this method was estimated with relative standard deviations in the range of 0.7–7.0% (n = 5) for the same batch, and 1.7–10% (n = 3) for batch to batch. Good linearity for eight pesticides was obtained with coefficient of determination in the range of 0.9942–0.9990. Limit of detections ranged from 0.4 to 1.2 ng/L. Real sample determination showed that four and two pesticides were detected in strawberry and grape, respectively. The results demonstrated that the established method was efficient, sensitive, and convenient for trace determination of pesticides in fruit samples.  相似文献

A series of porous chars has been obtained by heat treatment of unconventional raw materials, including plants belonging to short rotation woody crops (Salix viminalis, Salix fragilis). The pyrolysis conditions (1–3 h, 600–900 °C) were the same for the production of all chars, e.g., mesoporous and microporous chars. Salix viminalis wood exhibited an advantage over the other materials, because the obtained material had microporous structure such as carbon molecular sieves. Similar properties (surface area, total pore volume, pore size distribution) were observed for charcoals produced from pine wood (Pinus silvestri), but the thermal stability of these properties was inferior. Furthermore, we have also discussed economical and environmental issues associated with the exploitation of wood resources.  相似文献

A novel solid-phase microextraction device coated with an efficient and cheap thin film of polyurethane was developed for trace determination of 13 widely used pesticides in fruit and tea beverages. A round-shaped polyurethane film covering the bottom of a glass vial was fabricated as the sorbent to exhibit a superior capacity for preconcentrating target compounds and reducing matrix interferences. After optimization of the key parameters including the film type, extraction time, solution pH, ionic strength, desorption solvent, and conditions, this device allowed an efficient adsorption-desorption cycle for the pesticides accomplished in one vial. Coupled with gas chromatography-electron capture detection, the polyurethane-coated thin film microextraction method was successfully established and applied for the analysis of real fruit and tea drinks, showing low limits of detection (0.001–0.015 μg/L), wide linear ranges (1.0–500.0 μg/L, r2 > 0.9931), good relative recoveries (77.2%–106.3%) and negligible matrix effects (86.1%–107.5%) for the target pesticides. The proposed approach revealed strong potential of extending its application by flexibly modifying the type or size of the coating film. This study provides insights into the enrichment of contaminants from complex samples using inexpensive and reusable microextraction devices that can limit the environmental and health impact of the sample preparation protocol.  相似文献
