The category LTS of limit tower spaces is defined and shown to be isomorphic to the category CAP of convergence approach spaces. The full subcategory of LTS determined by the objects satisfying a diagonal axiom due to Cook and Fischer is shown to be isomorphic to the category AP of approach spaces. A family of isomorphisms is also obtained between LTS and certain full subcategories of the category PCS of probabilistic convergence spaces.  相似文献

The setting of approach frames is an exquisite environment to compare the various notions of regularity in topology, frames and approach spaces and in this paper we make this investigation. This brings to light some interesting similarities and differences and proves that there are at least two different unifying notions in the setting of approach frames each with specific advantages. In this paper, we compare the recent approach of Hans Triebel to introduce smoothness spaces related to Morrey‐Campanato spaces with Besov type and Triebel‐Lizorkin type spaces. We define a generalization of Mackey first countability and prove that it is equivalent to being docile. A consequence of the main result is to give a partial affirmative answer to an old question of Mackey regarding arbitrary quotients of Mackey first countable spaces. This paper deals with extensions or twisted sums of Banach spaces that come induced by complex interpolation and the relation between the type and cotype of the spaces in the interpolation scale and the nontriviality and singularity of the induced extension. The results are presented in the context of interpolation of families of Banach spaces, and are applied to the study of submodules of Schatten classes. We also obtain nontrivial extensions of spaces without the CAP which also fail the CAP.  相似文献

Two adjunctions, one is between limit spaces and stratified L-limit spaces and the other is between stratified L-limit spaces and stratified L-topological spaces, are established. The first adjunction can be viewed as an extension of Lowen's adjunction between the category of topological spaces and stratified [0,1]-topological spaces. Abstract

Császár generalized the uniform spaces, the proximity spaces and the topological spaces to syntopogenous spaces. Cook and Fischer generalized the uniform spaces to uniform limit spaces. Finally Marny generalized the proximity spaces to proximal limit spaces. Analogously we generalize the syntopogenous spaces to syntopoformic spaces (syntopogenous limit spaces). These spaces include all the above mentioned in a suitable sense. We extend some of the well-known results of compactness and completeness to syntopoformic spaces.  相似文献

Modifying the method of Ansari, we give some criteria for hypercyclicity of quasi-Mazur spaces. They can be applied to judging hypercyclicity of non-complete and non-metrizable locally convex spaces. For some special locally convex spaces, for example, Köthe (LF)-sequence spaces and countable inductive limits of quasi-Mazur spaces, we investigate their hypercyclicity. As we see, bounded biorthogonal systems play an important role in the construction of Ansari. Moreover, we obtain characteristic conditions respectively for locally convex spaces having bounded sequences with dense linear spans and for locally convex spaces having bounded absorbing sets, which are useful in judging the existence of bounded biorthogonal systems.  相似文献

In this paper, we introduce two types of new Banach spaces: k-super-strongly convex spaces and k-super-strongly smooth spaces. It is proved that these two notions are dual. We also prove that the class of k-super-strongly convexifiable spaces is strictly between locally k-uniformly rotund spaces and k-strongly convex spaces, and obtain some necessary and sufficient conditions of k-super-strongly convex space (respectively k-super-strongly smooth space). Also, for each k?2, it is shown that there exists a k-super-strongly convex (respectively k-super-strongly smooth) space which is not (k−1)-super-strongly convex (respectively (k−1)-super-strongly smooth) space.  相似文献
