Extraction of uranium(VI) with N,N,N′,N′-tetrabutylmalonamide and N,N,N′,N′-tetrahexylmalonamide

A new diamide N,N,N′,N′-tetrahexylmalonamide (THMA) was synthesized, characterized and used in the extraction of U(VI) from nitric acid solutions. N,N,N′,N′-tetrabutylmalonamide (TBMA) was also studied to test the steric hindrance. Factors affecting this extraction system, the concentration of the extractant, aqueous nitric acid and NaNO₃ and the temperature were investigated. The IR spectral study was also made of the extracted species.     

N,N′-dialkyl-N,N′-dinitrosulfodiamides

N,N-dinitrosulfodiamides are formed in the nitration of sulfodiamides with concentrated nitric acid or nitronium borofluoride, and also on substitutional nitration of the corresponding N,N-di-tert.-butyl derivatives with those reagents. Sulfuryl chloride reacts with the disodium salt of ethylene N,N-dinitramine to produce 2,5-dinitro-1,2,5-thiadiazolidine-1,1-dioxide. Isomerization of N,N,N′-trifluoroalkylamidines

Conclusions The syn-isomers of N,N,N-trifluorobutyramidine and N,N,N-trifluoromonochloroacetamidine are isomerized in the presence of HCl to the anti-form. The isomerization of the syn-isomer of N,N,N-trifluoromonochloroacetamidine also proceeds in the presence of ethanol.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 9, pp. 2159–2160, September, 1973.     

Synthesis of Five-Membered N,N,N- and N,N,N,N-Heterocyclic Compounds: Applications of Microwaves

The development of new strategies for the synthesis of small-sized heterocycles has remained a highly attractive but challenging proposition. An overview of the application of microwave irradiation to the synthesis of five-membered heterocyclic compounds containing three and four nitrogen atoms is presented, focusing on the developments in the past 5–10 years. This contribution covers the literature concerning the total synthesis of N,N,N- and N,N,N,N-heterocycles. The literature data are summarized based on the size and type of cycles.     

Synthesis of asymmetrical N,N′-disubstituted N,N′-dinitromethylenediamine

Conclusions Syntheses are reported for asymmetric N,N-disubstituted N.N-dinitromethylenediamines by the Mannich reaction from N-nitroalkylamines, formaldehyde, and 2-fluoro-2,2-dinitro-ethylamine in methanol or ethanol.Translated from Izvestiya Akademii Nauk SSSR, Seriya Khimicheskaya, No. 3, pp. 721–723, March, 1989.     

N, N, N′, N′-四丁基丙二酰胺萃取Pr3+的研究

利用丙二酸二乙酯与二正丁胺反应高收率的制备了N，N，N′，N′-四丁基丙二酰胺(TBMA)萃取剂。研究了硝酸浓度、硝酸锂浓度、萃取剂浓度以及温度等对萃取Pr(Ⅲ)分配比的影响，确定了萃合物的组成，得到了不同稀释剂中萃取反应的热力学数据。结合红外光谱和摩尔电导数据初步推断了萃合物的结构。     

Extraction of americium and europium from perchloric acid solutions with N,N′-dialkyl-and N,N,N′,N′-tetraalkylpyridine-2,6-dicarboxamides

Extraction of americium and europium from perchloric acid solutions with pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamides was studied. The solvate numbers and Am/Eu separation factors were determined.     

Olefin Synthesis via,the Li-Derivative of N,N,N′,N′-Tetramethyldimides of Arylmethanephosphonic Acids

Abstract

The high erythro-stereoselective reaction of Li-tetramethyldiamides of arylmethanephosphonic acids with carbonyl compounds is used for synthesis of (Z)-alkenes by thermolysis of the erythro-adducts as well as in acidic media.     

Dendrimers Functionalized with Palladium Complexes of N-, N,N-, and N,N,N-Ligands

Pyridine, pyridine imine, and bipyridine imine ligands functionalized by a phenol have been synthesized and characterized, in many cases by X-ray diffraction. Several of these N-, N,N-, and N,N,N,-ligands have been grafted onto the surface of phosphorhydrazone dendrimers, from generation 1 to generation 3. The complexation ability of these monomers and dendrimers towards palladium(II) has been assayed. The corresponding complexes have been either isolated or prepared in situ. In both cases, the monomeric and dendritic complexes have been tested as catalysts in Heck couplings and in Sonogashira couplings. In some cases, a positive dendritic effect has been observed, that is, an increase of the catalytic efficiency proportional to the dendrimer generation.     

EFFECT OF N,N,N’,N’-TETRAALKYL TEREPHTHALAMIDE ON NON-ISOTHERMAL CRYSTALLIZATION KINETICS OF POLYPROPYLENE

The effect of N,N,N＇,N＇-tetraalkyl terephthalamide （TATA） on the non-isothermal crystallization and melting characteristics ofpolypropylene （PP） was studied. The addition of TATA can lead to the formation ofβ-crystal PP. With the increase in TATA concentration the degree of crystallinity for β-crystal PP increased significantly, and that for a-crystal PP decreased, which indicated that TATA effectively induced the formation of β-crystal PP. WAXD also revealed the existence of β-crystal PP after the introduction of TATA into PP. PP containing TATA crystallized at a temperature range of 5-10℃ higher than that of pure PP, and the half-crystallization time （t1/2） and Avrami exponent （n） of PP at the same cooling rate were decreased by the addition of TATA, indicating that TATA influenced the crystallization rate and crystallization growth mode of PP. The rate constant of crystallization of PP containing TATA （Zc） was larger than that of pure PP, which further indicated that the crystallization of PP was accelerated by the addition of TATA.     

N,N,N'-不同基团三取代乙二胺衍生物的简便合成

以2-取代咪唑啉为起始原料,经过磺酰化反应,得到磺酰基咪唑啉2a-2e,然后进行甲基化反应得到1,2,3-三取代咪唑啉碘盐3a-3e。化合物3在室温下经过水解反应或还原反应,可得到两类不同基团N,N,N'-三取代乙二胺衍生物4或5。该反应具有条件温和、副产物少、产物得率高和后处理简单等优点,提供了一种有效的三步合成不同基团N,N,N'-三取代乙二胺衍生物的新方法。所合成产物通过NMR、IR和元素分析方法进行了结构确证。     

Investigatins of the extraction of adenosine phosphates with N,N′-dioctadecyl-1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2.]octane and N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-N,N′-dioctadecyldiammonium alkanes

The extraction of adenosine phosphates with hydrophobic cyclic diammonium or alkyl diammonium salts is described. The selectivity of these compounds is governed by two factors, the length of the spacer arm between the two ammonium nitrogens and the pH of the system. The cyclic compound exhibits less selectivity than the similar noncyclic alkyl compounds. It is shown that several of the compounds are fairly selective for adenosine 5′-triphosphate (ATP). The best of these, N,N,N′-tetramethyl-N,N′-dioctadecyldiammoniumethane, is tested for assay of ATP in spiked urines.
