The mannose monosaccharide derivative, acetylthiopropyl 2,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-α-d-mannopyranoside (Man), and the mannobiose derivative, acetylthiopropyl 2,4,6-tri-O-acetyl-3-O-(2′,3′,4′,6′-tetra-O-acetyl-α-d-mannopyranosyl)-α-d-mannopyranoside (α-1,3-Man), were synthesized respectively. These mannose derivatives were introduced into carbosilane dendrimer scaffolds of the zero and first generations. As a result, six carbosilane dendrimers were functionalized by Man and α-1,3-Man. Isothermal titration microcalorimetry was done to determine binding assay between mannose moieties of carbosilane dendrimer and concanavalin A. It was found that carbosilane dendrimers bound more efficiently to concanavalin A than free mannose (Me-α-Man) and mannobiose (Me-α-1,3-Man).  相似文献

Novel carbosilane liquid crystalline dendrimers based on 1,6-hexanediol were prepared. Using the precursors Gn-C1 (n = 1-3) with Si-C1 bonds on the periphery as dendritic scaffolds and 4-[4-(6-hydroxyhexyloxy)phenylazo]- nitrobenzene as mesogenic group, a series of carbosilane liquid crystalline dendrimers from the first to the third generation were synthesized. These carbosilane liquid crystalline dendrimers showed smectic phase.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of the heat capacities of fluorinated derivatives of carbosilane dendrimers of high (4.5 and 7.5) generations were studied by adiabatic vacuum calorimetry in the range from 6 to 340 K for the first time. The standard thermodynamic characteristics of devitrification were estimated. The experimental results were used to calculate the standard thermodynamic functions C p °(T), H°(T)?H°(0), S°(T)?S°(0), and G°(T)-H°(0) over the range from T??0 to 340 K and standard entropies of formation of dendrimers at T = 298.15 K. The low-temperature (T ?? 50 K) heat capacity was analyzed by using Debye??s heat capacity theory of solids and the multifractal model. The values of fractal dimensionality D were determined, and some conclusions about topology of the studied structures were made. The standard thermodynamic characteristics of the studied fluorinated derivatives of carbosilane dendrimers were compared.  相似文献

Two series of carbosilane LC dendrimers with terminal protonated and deuterated butoxyphenylbenzoate mesogenic groups linked to carbosilane dendritic matrices of the first to fifth generations via an undecylene spacer have been synthesized. The chemical structure of new dendrimers has been studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy and gel-permeation chromatography. The dendrimers of first-fourth generations are characterized by formation of the smectic C mesophase in a wide temperature range, whereas much more complex columnar supramolecular structures are formed in dendrimers of the fifth generation. Structural studied of mesophases by X-ray diffraction and small-angle neutron scattering show that segregation takes place in mixtures of deuterated and protonated LC dendrimers; as a result, huge aggregates composed of hundreds of chemically unbound molecules develop and the sizes of these aggregates reversibly change with temperature.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of four families of anionic carbosilane dendrimers bearing carboxylate, phosphonate, naphthylsulfonate, and sulfate terminal groups prepared by cycloaddition of azide–alkyne catalyzed by copper (CuAAC) are presented here. For the preparation of these anionic carbosilane dendrimers, two strategies starting from azide‐terminated carbosilane dendrimers were followed: (i) click coupling of neutral alkynes followed by derivatization into anionic moieties or (ii) click coupling of anionic alkynes. Both strategies require different reaction conditions in order to accommodate the different substrate polarities. These anionic dendrimers, in general, do not present cell toxicity in vitro until concentration up to 20 µM. Therefore, they can be used in inhibition experiments in concentrations below this limit. We have observed that dendrimers bearing phosphonate groups possess poor anti‐HIV capabilities in vitro in PBMCs, while carboxylate dendrimers can reduce HIV infection levels moderately. On the other hand, sulfate and naphthylsulfonate dendrimers are powerful anti‐HIV agents and their antiviral activity is generation and concentration dependent. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. The synthesis of chiral carbosilane dendrimers functionalized with cysteine and N-acetylcysteine groups is presented. These dendrimers were obtained through thiol–ene addition reactions and their application as chiral selectors in capillary electrophoresis was investigated. Four drugs used as model compounds were analyzed under different experimental conditions observing that the use of a first generation dendrimer containing 4 terminal N-acetyl-l-cysteine groups enabled the enantiomeric discrimination of razoxane with a discrimination power similar to that obtained with other powerful chiral selectors such as cyclodextrins.  相似文献

A new series of carbosilane liquid crystalline (LC) dendrimers from the first to the third generations with 8, 16 and 32 chiral terminal mesogenic groups, respectively, has been synthesized. The molecular structures and purity of all new compounds were confirmed by 1H NMR spectroscopy and GPC analysis. Data of polarization microscopy and SAX analysis demonstrated that all LC dendrimers synthesized form a chiral smectic SmC* phase at temperatures below 50 °C. It has been found that bistable electrooptical switching is observed for all dendrimers. The influence of chiral mesogenic fragment length on phase behavior and ferroelectric properties of carbosilane LC dendrimers is discussed.  相似文献

A mononuclear rhodium model compound was also synthesized. The introduction of phenyl groups at different points on carbosilane dendrimers allows their acidolytic conversion to highly reactive triflato groups which in turn are readily substituted by anionic nucleophiles. Core phenylated first-fourth generation dendrimers were synthesized from tri(allyl)phenylsilane by an alternating sequence of hydrosilylation and allylation steps. Similarly, carbosilane dendrimers containing phenyl-Si groups at the branching points and in the periphery were prepared from tetraallylsilane which was hydrosilylated with PhHSiCl2. Reaction of the phenylated dendrimers with triflic acid in toluene cleanly gave the silyl triflate derivatives, provided that the correct stoichiometry of the reagents was used. In the presence of a large excess of triflic acid the SiMe3-end groups are slowly converted to SiMe2(OTf)-units. The proof of concept was provided by the fixation of a {Ph2PCH2} group using the lithiated diphenylphosphinomethanide Ph2PCH2Li, obtained by cleavage of Ph3SnCH2PPh2 with PhLi, as well as a lithiated ether-alcohol functionalized triphos derivative to the core of a third generation carbosilane dendrimer.  相似文献

A number of carbosilane copolymers of the first through third generations has been synthesized via the divergent approach. Each molecule of these compounds contains two pairs of dendrons—segments that have the same poly(propylenesilyl) carbosilane dendritic architecture but differ in the generation number and the amount and type of terminal groups (n-decyl or allyl). The target dendrimers have been isolated as individual compounds via preparative gel-permeation chromatography, and their structure has been studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

Branched perfluorohydrosiloxane with CF3CF2CF2C(CF3)2(CH2)3 groups at the silicon atom was synthesized by a sequence of chemical reactions. The resulting compound was used as a modifying agent for carbosilane dendrimers of the 3rd and 6th generations. Dendrimers with perfluorohexyl terminal groups in surface layer are characterized by a complex of physicochemical methods. It is demonstrated that due to the branching of perfluoroalkyl terminal groups, obtained carbosilane dendrimers are soluble in organic and inorganic media. Differences in the solubility of small and large dendrimers are caused by the formation of the outer fluoride shell of different densities.  相似文献

A universal method for the synthesis of hydrophilic dendrimers was considered. The method is based on a combination of carbosilane dendrimers with different molecular organizations and hydrophilizing agents, viz., substituted hydride silanes containing one and three protected hydroxyl groups. The combination of a limited set of the mentioned reagents makes it possible to control the ratio of hydrophilic and hydrophobic moieties of the molecular structure in wide limits. A simple and convenient method for the removal of trimethylsilyl protection of hydroxyl groups in the surface layer of dendrimers was developed.  相似文献

A disaccharide scaffold based on galabiose (Galα1-4Gal) was synthesized. Four different acceptors were evaluated in the α-galactosylation and a relationship between the nucleophilicity, yield, and α/β-selectivity was found. The scaffold contains two orthogonal derivatisation sites, i.e. at O-2′ and the anomeric position, and as proof of concept, one derivatised galabioside was synthesized. Compounds based on this galabiose-scaffold are potential inhibitors of P- and Pk-antigen binding proteins.  相似文献

The hydrodynamic and conformational properties of hyperbranched polycarbosilanes with different lengths of branches, namely, poly(methyl(allyl)carbosilane) containing three CH2 groups between branching centers and poly(methyl(undecenyl)carbosilane) whose branches are composed of 11 CH2 groups, have been studied in dilute solutions in hexane using the methods of molecular hydrodynamics and optics. Fractions with M < 17.5 × 104 have been used in experiments. The hydrodynamic properties of the above polycarbosilanes differ significantly from those of linear polymers since hyperbranched macromolecules are compact and their shape differs only slightly from spherical. The lengthening of chains between branching centers causes a change in the hydrodynamic characteristics, and the difference between hyperbranched polymers and dendrimers becomes more pronounced. As the length of branches increases, their conformation changes from an extended trans chain to a more or less bent rod.  相似文献

Novel amine- and ammonium-terminated carbosilane dendrimers of type G(n)-[Si{CH(2)O-(C(6)H(4))-3-NMe(2)}](x) or G(n)-[Si{CH(2)O-(C(6)H(4))-3-NMe(3)(+)I(-)}](x) have been synthesized and characterized up to second generation by phenolysis of (chloromethyl)silyl-terminated dendrimers with 3-dimethylamine phenol and subsequent quaternization with methyl iodide. Quaternized carbosilane dendrimers are stable in protic solvents and can be solubilised in water after the addition of less than 1% of dimethyl sulfoxide. A study of the antimicrobial activity of these cationic dendrimers of first and second generation against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria is also described. The results obtained demonstrate that the new ammonium-terminated carbosilane dendrimers can be considered as multivalent biocides.  相似文献

Several types of substituted carbosilane-based dendrimers are studied in comparison with polyamidoamine (PAMAM), using molecular mechanics approach, to evaluate the shape and steric interactions when the generation number (G) increases. A scaled van der Waals energy parameter: the scaled steric energy, is defined, and used, to compare the steric repulsion in these dendrimers. Our calculations indicate that the steric repulsions, between the end groups at the surface of dendrimers, do not increase for higher generations of such macromolecules. Density calculations show that this property decreases with the increase of G. The moment of inertia calculations show that the shape of the considered dendrimers is asymmetrical for lower generations and becomes spherical at higher generations. The shape of the carbosilane dendrimers is more spherical than PAMAM. The results show that higher generations can afford the increased number of terminal groups at the surface of the macromolecules, without increase of the density in this region, therefor these factors (steric repulsion between the end groups at the surface, or high density) would not impede the chemistry to build higher generations of completely branched dendrimers.  相似文献

Carbosilane dendrimers with up to 108 end groups were prepared by a divergent synthetic route via repeated alternating Grignard-reaction with allylmagnesium bromide and hydrosilylation. Quantitative hydroboration of the dendrimers was achieved with 9-BBN/H2O2,OH. Employing this synthetic route, rather monodisperse dendritic polyols with lipophilic carbosilane core and hydrophilic shell were prepared. All dendrimers were characterized with MALDI-TOF, showing low polydispersities. The novel dendritic polyols constitute interesting molecular scaffolds for the preparation of unusual supermolecules. As an example, reaction with cholesteryl chloro-formiate was used to prepare a series of dendrimers with 12, 36 and 108 mesogenic cholesteryl end groups.  相似文献

Grubbs' catalyst was used to prepare a series of carbosilane dendrimers with silacyclopentene peripheral groups, suitable for further elaboration to functional dendrimers. The efficiency of the ring closing metathesis reaction was found to be strongly dependent on the reaction temperature and the amount of catalyst used, as shown by 1H NMR monitoring.  相似文献
