The interaction of a shock train with a normal suction slot is presented. It was found that when the pressure in the suction slot is smaller or equal to the static pressure of the incoming supersonic flow, the pressure gradient across the primary shock is sufficient to push some part of the near wall boundary layer through the suction slot. Due to the suction stabilized primary shock foot, the back pressure of the shock train can be increased until the shock train gradually changes into a single normal shock. During the experiments, the total pressure and therewith the Reynolds number of the flow were varied. The structure and pressure recovery within the shock train is analysed by means of Schlieren images and wall pressure measurements. Because the boundary layer is most important for the formation of a shock train, it has been measured by a Pitot probe. Additionally, computational fluid dynamics is used to investigate the shock boundary-layer interaction. Based on the experimental and numerical results, a simplified flow model is derived which explains the phenomenology of the transition of a shock train into a single shock and derives distinct criteria to maintain a suction enhanced normal shock. This flow model also yields the required suction mass flow in order to obtain a single normal shock in a viscous nozzle flow. Furthermore, it allows computation of the total pressure losses across a normal shock under the influence of boundary-layer suction.  相似文献

The aim of this work is to study the effect of non-uniform single and double slot suction/injection into a steady mixed convection boundary layer flow over a vertical cone, while the axis of the cone is inline with the flow. The governing boundary layer equations are transformed into a non-dimensional form by a group of non-similar trans- formations. The resulting coupled non-linear partial differential equations are solved nu- merically by employing the quasi-linearization technique and an implicit finite-difference scheme. Numerical computations are performed for different values of the dimensionless parameters to display the velocity and temperature profiles graphically. Also, numerical results are presented for the skin friction and heat transfer coefficients. Results indicate that the skin friction and heat transfer coefficients increase with non-uniform slot suction, but the effect of non-uniform slot injection is just opposite.  相似文献

Previous studies on boundary layer transition at moderate levels of free stream turbulence (FST) have shown that the transition process can be promoted by the introduction of Tollmien-Schlichting (TS) waves. In the present work the interaction between localized boundary layer disturbances and controlled TS-waves is studied experimentally. The localized disturbances are generated either from a controlled free stream perturbation, or by means of suction or injection through a slot in the flat plate surface. Both methods result in boundary layer disturbances dominated by elongated streamwise streaks of high and low velocity in the streamwise component. A strong interaction is observed preferably for high frequency TS-waves, which are damped when generated separately, and the interaction starts as a local amplification of a wide band of low-frequency oblique waves. The later stages of the transition process can be identified as a non-linear interaction between the oblique structures, leading to regeneration of new and stronger streamwise streaks.  相似文献

低雷诺数下附面层组合抽吸方案对压气机特性影响的研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为了分析附面层抽吸流动控制对低雷诺数下压气机特性的影响,本文采用数值方法模拟了低雷诺数下附面层组合抽吸方案对NASA Rotor 37跨音速压气机性能和稳定性的影响特点及作用机理。通过在该压气机转子叶片吸力面和机匣上分别设计附面层抽吸槽,探讨了组合抽吸方案对低雷诺数下(H=20km)压气机性能和稳定性的影响。结果表明:采用组合抽吸方案后,压气机峰值效率提高约1.3%;压气机最大增压比提高约2.5%;压气机转子的近失速点流量减小约14.6%。进一步分析作用机理发现,组合抽吸槽有效抑制了附面层径向涡向叶顶的运动和聚集,使叶顶附面层分离区减少约70%从而有效改善了压气机的流场特性。  相似文献

激波与边界层干扰的非定常问题是高速飞行器气动设计中基础研究内容之一.以往研究主要针对层流和湍流干扰,在分离激波低频振荡及其内在机理方面存在着上游机制和下游机制两类截然不同的理论解释.分析激波与转捩边界层干扰下非定常运动现象有助于进一步加深理解边界层状态以及分离泡结构对低频振荡特性的影响规律,为揭示其产生机理指出新的方向.采用直接数值模拟方法对来流马赫数2.9,24?压缩拐角内激波与转捩边界层干扰下激波的非定常运动特性进行了数值分析.通过在拐角上游平板特定的流向位置添加吹吸扰动激发流动转捩,使得进入拐角的边界层处于转捩初期阶段.在验证了计算程序可靠性的基础上,详细分析了转捩干扰下激波运动的间歇性和振荡特征,着重研究了分离泡展向三维结构对激波振荡特性的影响规律,最后还初步探索了转捩干扰下激波低频振荡产生的物理机制.研究结果表明:分离激波的非定常运动仍存在强间歇性和低频振荡特征,其时间尺度约为上游无干扰区内脉动信号特征尺度的10倍量级;分离泡展向三维结构不会对分离激波的低频振荡特征产生实质影响.依据瞬态脉动流场的低通滤波结果,转捩干扰下激波低频振荡的诱因来源于拐角干扰区下游,与流场中分离泡的收缩/膨胀运动存在一定的关联.  相似文献

The flow inside an over expanding rectangular nozzle with a small opening angle of 1.6° is investigated by means of high-speed schlieren and shadowgraph photography, pressure probes and hot-wire anemometry on the nozzle centre line in order to measure the turbulent fluctuations generated by the occurring shock wave/boundary layer interaction. Additionally, an optical shock capturing tool is deployed to measure the amplitude and frequency of the shock train oscillation. Varying the back pressure, the pre-shock Mach number is changed between Ma 1 = 1.1 and 2.1. Two different modes of turbulence generation and distribution are detected. For a single normal shock and a normal shock train, the normal Reynolds stress [`(u¢2 )] \overline{{u^{\prime 2} }} on the channel axis is only slightly increased compared to the free stream value, whereas for the cases of a lambda foot shock train and an x-type shock train, a strong intensification by forming a turbulent mixing zone can be observed.  相似文献

随着飞行马赫数的不断提高,空气的高温气体效应越来越明显,对高超声速飞行器的气动力/热特性产生重要影响.高温气体效应对气动力/热的影响机理复杂,影响参数众多,迄今为止国内外尚未完全研究清楚.发生高温气体效应时,多个非线性物理过程耦合在一起,地面试验和数值模拟无法将这些过程解耦,无法给出关键物理机理.为了解决这一问题,文章提出一种理论分析与数值模拟相结合的两步渐进新方法:先通过牛顿迭代法得到发生振动激发过程的斜激波无黏解;再将该无黏解的结果作为边界条件,求解边界层的黏性解.利用该方法研究了振动激发过程对二维斜劈的气动力/热特性的影响规律.研究结果表明,振动激发过程对斜激波后的温度、密度、马赫数、雷诺数和斜激波角影响较大,而对压力和速度影响较小.斜激波波后的无黏流动与边界层流动是耦合在一起的.发生振动激发后,斜激波波后雷诺数的增大会导致边界层厚度减小,结合多个物理量的变化,如速度增大和温度减小,共同对边界层内的摩擦阻力和气动热产生影响.对比完全气体的结果发现,振动激发使壁面摩阻升高,而使壁面热流降低.分别通过影响激波层和边界层,振动激发对摩阻的影响是弱耦合的,而对热流的影响则是强耦合的.  相似文献

为了减小由于反射激波和透射激波分叉引起的反射型激波风洞试验气体提前受到污染的现象,本文研究了一种新的具有抽吸的激波管流动,分析了抽吸缝的作用,给出了这种抽吸激波管性能参数的计算方法,同时还给出了反射激波与边界层相互作用引起的激波分叉的形状随抽吸量变化的计算公式。实验证实了边界层抽吸可以有效地减小激波与壁面边界层相互作用所产生的分离现象。计算与测量结果是一致的。  相似文献

The need for better understanding of the low-frequency unsteadiness observed in shock wave/turbulent boundary layer interactions has been driving research in this area for several decades. We present here a large-eddy simulation investigation of the interaction between an impinging oblique shock and a Mach 2.3 turbulent boundary layer. Contrary to past large-eddy simulation investigations on shock/turbulent boundary layer interactions, we have used an inflow technique which does not introduce any energetically significant low frequencies into the domain, hence avoiding possible interference with the shock/boundary layer interaction system. The large-eddy simulation has been run for much longer times than previous computational studies making a Fourier analysis of the low frequency possible. The broadband and energetic low-frequency component found in the interaction is in excellent agreement with the experimental findings. Furthermore, a linear stability analysis of the mean flow was performed and a stationary unstable global mode was found. The long-run large-eddy simulation data were analyzed and a phase change in the wall pressure fluctuations was related to the global-mode structure, leading to a possible driving mechanism for the observed low-frequency motions.   相似文献

We present here experimental results in a shock wave/turbulent boundary layer interaction at Mach number of 2.3 impinged by an oblique shock wave, with a deflection angle of 9.5°, as installed in the supersonic wind tunnel of the IUSTI laboratory, France. For such a shock intensity, strong unsteadiness are developing inside the separated zone involving very low frequencies associated with reflected shock motions.The present work consists in simultaneous PIV velocity fields and unsteady wall pressure measurements. The wall pressure and PIV measurements were used to characterize the pressure distribution at the wall in an axial direction, and the flow field associated. These results give access for the first time to the spatial-time correlation between wall pressure and velocity in a shock wave turbulent boundary layer interaction and show the feasibility of such coupling techniques in compressible flows. Linear Stochastic Estimation (LSE) coupled with Proper Orthogonal Decomposition (POD) has been applied to these measurements, and first results are presented here, showing the ability of these techniques to reproduce both the unsteady breathing of the recirculating bubble at low frequency and the Kelvin–Helmholtz instabilities developing at moderate frequency.  相似文献

A study for the effect of non-uniform slot injection/suction and non-uniform total enthalpy at the wall for a steady non-similar laminar compressible boundary layer flow over a rotating sphere is presented. The effects of rotation and free stream Mach number have also been considered. Non-similar solutions have been obtained from the starting point of the stream wise coordinate to the point of separation using an implicit finite difference scheme in combination with the quasi-linearization technique. The results indicate that the separation can be delayed by non-uniform slot suction and also by moving the slot downstream but the non-uniform slot injection has just the opposite effect. An increase of rotation and total enthalpy at the wall causes separation to occur earlier while cooling delays it. An increase of the Mach number shifts the point of separation upstream due to the adverse pressure gradient. The non-uniform total enthalpy at the wall has a very little effect on the skin friction and hence on the point of separation.  相似文献

Shock wave–turbulent boundary layer interaction is a critical problem in aircraft design. Therefore, a thorough understanding of the processes occurring in such flows is necessary. The most important task is to study the unsteady phenomena, in particular, the low-frequency ones, for this interaction. An experimental study of separated flow has been performed in the zone of interaction of the incident oblique shock wave with a turbulent boundary layer at Mach 2. Two-point correlation data in the separation zone and the upstream flow were obtained and showed that low-frequency oscillations of the reflected shock waves are related to pulsations in the inflow turbulent boundary layer.  相似文献

喷流干扰是高超声速飞行高精度控制的一种有效手段,研究者们以往大部分都主要集中于连续流条件下喷流干扰效应的机理研究,并给出了喷流干扰流场的典型结构,而稀薄流条件下喷流干扰特性的实验数据还十分匮乏.本文利用JFX爆轰激波风洞产生高超声速稀薄自由流,基于平板模型开展不同喷流压力和自由来流参数对横向喷流干扰特性影响的实验研究,采用高速纹影成像及图像处理技术,获得稀薄流条件下喷流干扰流场演化过程及流场结构的变化规律.相比于无喷流条件形成的流场,横向喷流与稀薄自由流相互作用形成的流场结构更为复杂,喷流压力由于受到稀薄来流的扰动,斜激波会短暂穿透喷流干扰流场并延伸至楔形体上部.喷流干扰流场内桶状激波的影响范围随着喷流压力的升高而逐渐变宽,位于三波点上游的斜激波空间位置不会随喷流压力的变化而改变,而位于三波点下游的弓形激波则向上游移动,当喷流压力过低时,桶状激波不会与其他两种激波交汇形成三波点.高超声速稀薄来流压力的降低同样会使桶状激波的影响范围变宽,弓形激波同样也会向上游移动,但基本不会对斜激波空间位置产生任何影响.  相似文献

Results of experimental investigations and numerical simulations of supersonic gas flows in radial nozzles with different nozzle widths are presented. It is demonstrated that different types of the flow are formed in the nozzle with a fixed nozzle radius and different nozzle widths: supersonic flows with oblique shock waves inducing boundary layer separation are formed in wide nozzles, and flows with a normal pseudoshock separating the supersonic and subsonic flow domains are formed in narrow nozzles (micronozzles). The pseudoshock structure is studied, and the total pressure loss in the case of the gas flow in a micronozzle is determined.  相似文献

The interaction of an oblique shock wave with a turbulent boundary layer under conditions of incipient separation is analyzed by means of large-eddy simulation (LES) and Reynolds-averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) turbulence models, with the objective to explore their predictive capabilities, in particular with respect to the unsteady features of the interaction. Consistent with earlier direct numerical simulations, we have found that the flow dynamics in the interaction zone is characterized by strong intermittency associated with the formation of scattered spots of flow reversal near the nominal position of the reflected shock. Comparison with experimental results (at much larger Reynolds number) show that the qualitative features of the interaction are predicted reasonably well by both LES and RANS models. RANS models supplemented with a semi-empirical closure are also found to provide reasonable estimate of the fluctuating pressure loads at the wall.  相似文献

In shock tube experiments, the interaction between the reflected shock and boundary layer can induce shock bifurcation and weak ignition. The weak ignition can greatly affect the ignition delay time measurement in a shock tube experiment. In this work, two-dimensional simulations considering detailed chemistry and transport are conducted to investigate the shock bifurcation and non-uniform ignition behind a reflected shock. The objectives are to interpret the formation of shock bifurcation induced by the reflected shock and boundary layer interaction and to investigate the weak ignition and its transition to strong ignition for both hydrogen and dimethyl ether. It is found that the non-uniform reflection of the incident shock at the end wall produces a wedge-shaped oblique shock foot at the wall. The wedge-shaped structure results in strong interactions between reflected shock and boundary layer, which induces the shock bifurcation. It is demonstrated that the local high-temperature spots at the foot of the bifurcated shock is caused by viscous dissipation and pressure work. As the post-reflected shock temperature increases, the transition from weak ignition to strong ignition in a stoichiometric hydrogen/oxygen mixture is observed. The relative sensitivity of ignition delay time to the post-reflected shock temperature is introduced to characterize the appearance of weak ignition behind the reflected shock. Unlike in the hydrogen/oxygen mixture, weak ignition is not observed in the stoichiometric dimethylether/oxygen mixture since it has a relatively longer ignition delay time and smaller relative sensitivity.

Both shock control bump (SCB) and suction and blowing are flow control methods used to control the shock wave/boundary layer interaction (SWBLI) in order to reduce the resulting wave drag in transonic flows. A SCB uses a small local surface deformation to reduce the shock-wave strength, while suction decreases the boundary-layer thickness and blowing delays the flow separation. Here a multi-point optimization method under a constant-lift-coefficient constraint is used to find the optimum design of SCB and suction and blowing. These flow control methods are used separately or together on a RAE-2822 supercritical airfoil for a wide range of off-design transonic Mach numbers. The RANS flow equations are solved using Roe’s averages scheme and a gradient-based adjoint algorithm is used to find the optimum location and shape of all devices. It is shown that the simultaneous application of blowing and SCB (hybrid blowing/SCB) improves the average aerodynamic efficiency at off-design conditions by 18.2 % in comparison with the clean airfoil, while this increase is only 16.9 % for the hybrid suction/SCB. We have also studied the SWBLI and how the optimization algorithm makes the flow wave structure and interactions of the shock wave with the boundary layer favorable.  相似文献

The interaction between a normally impinging shock wave and the boundary layer on a plate with slip is studied in the neighborhood of the leading edge using various experimental methods, including special laser technology, to visualize the supersonic conical gas flows. It is found that in the “non-free” interaction, when the leading edge impedes the propagation of the boundary layer separation line upstream, the structure of the disturbed flow is largely identical to that in the developed “free” interaction, but with higher parameter values and gradients in the leading part of the separation zone. The fundamental property of developed separation flows, namely, coincidence of the values of the pressure “plateau” in the separation zone and the pressure behind the oblique shock above the separation zone of the turbulent boundary layer, is conserved. An asymptotic theory of the interaction of a turbulent boundary layer on a plate with a normal shock wave of low intensity has been constructed in various studies [1–4] under the assumption that the averaged velocity of the particles in the boundary layer in front of the interaction region satisfies a logarithmic law. In the present paper a different approach to this problem is proposed based on a power law of the velocity in the undisturbed boundary layer. The obtained results give different estimates for not only the sizes of the characteristic flow regions in the interaction region but also for the shock intensity leading to boundary layer separation.  相似文献
