The spatial impression of sound in a hall can be quantified using sound field factors such as the interaural cross-correlation coefficient (IACC) calculated from binaural impulse response (BIR), henceforth denoted by IACCIR. The subjective diffuseness for the listener is a spatial attribute which depends on factors associated both with the source signal and with the actual sound field, and is quantified using the IACC of the signal received by the listener, henceforth denoted by IACCSR. Therefore, the subjective diffuseness in a given hall may change with the music. The aims of this study are to estimate the IACCSR from the IACCIR and the factors, which is obtained from autocorrelation function (ACF) of music signal, and to evaluate the subjective diffuseness by these factors. First, the relationship between the IACCIR and IACCSR was investigated. Second, subjective diffuseness was measured by a psycho-acoustical experiment. As a result, the IACCSR could be estimated from the IACCIR of the BIR and the effective duration (τe) from the ACF of music signal. It was found that the effects of BIRs on subjective diffuseness could be evaluated by IACCIR for almost all subjects, while the effects of music signals could be evaluated by the τe and the width of the peak at τ=0 (W?(0)) of the ACF.  相似文献

The relation between human brain responses to an individual's annoyance of bandpass noise was investigated using magnetoencephalography (MEG) measurements and analysis by autocorrelation function (ACF) and cross-correlation function (CCF). Pure tone and bandpass noises with a centre frequency of 1000 Hz were used as source signals. The sound pressure level was constant at 74 dBA and the duration of the stimulus was 2.0 s. The scale values of annoyance for each subject were obtained by paired-comparison tests. In MEG measurements, the combination of a reference stimulus (pure tone) and test stimuli (bandpass noise) was alternately presented 30 times at a constant 2 s interstimulus interval. The results show that the effective duration of the ACF, τe, of MEG in the 8-13 Hz range, which represent repetitive features within the signal itself, became shorter during the presentation of an annoying stimulus. Also, the maximum value of the CCF, |φ(τ)|max, became smaller. The shorter τe and smaller |φ(τ)|max indicate that a wider area of the brain is unstable for longer with annoying auditory stimuli.  相似文献

This study examines the loudness of bandpass noises with center frequencies of 250, 500 and 1000Hz while changing the autocorrelation function (ACF). The bandwidth of the source signal was altered with a 2068 dB/octave sharp filter to control the ACF of the source signal. The scale values of loudness were obtained using a paired-comparison method. It is shown that the loudness of the bandpass noises inside the critical band is not constant. The loudness of the pure tone is greater than that of sharply filtered noises. The loudness of the bandpass noises increases with increasing effective duration of the ACF (τe) of the source signal.  相似文献

In relation to the temporal and spatial factors of sound fields, dissimilarity judgments for different source locations on a stage were performed. This study is based on the model of the auditory-brain system, which consists of the autocorrelation and crosscorrelation mechanisms for sound signals arriving at two ears and the specialization of human cerebral hemispheres. There are three temporal factors (τ11 and τe) extracted from the autocorrelation function and four spatial factors (LL,IACC,τIACC and WIACC) from the interaural crosscorrelation function of binaural signals. In addition to these temporal and spatial factors, the orthogonal factors of the subjective preference for sound field (Δt1 and Tsub) were taken into account. The psychological distance between sound fields of different source locations on the stage were calculated by using these temporal, spatial and orthogonal factors of sound fields. Using these distances and their linear combination, dissimilarity can be calculated. Results of multivariable analysis show that the calculated scale values of dissimilarity agree well with the measured scale values.  相似文献

Measurements of railway noise were conducted by use of a diagnostic system of regional environmental noise. The system is based on the model of the human auditory-brain system. The model consists of the interplay of autocorrelators and an interaural crosscorrelator acting on the pressure signals arriving at the ear entrances, and takes into account the specialization of left and right human cerebral hemispheres. Different kinds of railway noise were measured through binaural microphones of a dummy head. To characterize the railway noise, physical factors, extracted from the autocorrelation functions (ACF) and interaural crosscorrelation function (IACF) of binaural signals, were used. The factors extracted from ACF were (1) energy represented at the origin of the delay, Φ (0), (2) effective duration of the envelope of the normalized ACF, τe, (3) the delay time of the first peak, τ1, and (4) its amplitude,ø1 . The factors extracted from IACF were (5) IACC, (6) interaural delay time at which the IACC is defined, τIACC, and (7) width of the IACF at the τIACC,WIACC . The factor Φ (0) can be represented as a geometrical mean of energies at both ears as listening level, LL.  相似文献

The present study investigates whether the subjective preference theory can be applied to the sound field in an opera house. Paired-comparison tests were conducted to obtain scale values of subjective preference. As the source locations of the music on the stage and in the orchestra pit were moved, listeners were asked to give their acoustical preference. The acoustical factors at each listening position were obtained from the interaural cross-correlation function and binaural impulse responses measured at each listening position. The relationship between the scale values of subjective preference and orthogonal acoustical factors (LL, IACC, τIACC, Δt1 for the pit source, Δt1 for the stage, Tsub for the pit source, and Tsub for the stage source) was determined by using factor analysis, which shows that the preference theory is applicable. Total scores obtained from factor analysis and measured scale values are in good agreement.  相似文献

The duration sensation of bandpass noise was examined while changing the factors (τ1, φ1and τe) extracted from the autocorrelation function. The white noise and bandpass noises with six center frequencies (125, 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 4000 Hz) with different bandwidths were used as stimuli. A paired-comparison test comparing the white-noise duration with bandpass-noise duration was conducted under the conditions of constant sound pressure level (SPL; 80 dB(A)) and rise and fall times (1 ms). Results indicate that the duration of bandpass noise is judged to be longer than that of the white noise. The duration sensation of the bandpass stimuli with longer τ1is significantly longer than that of the stimuli with shorterτ1 (p<0·01).  相似文献

The NOMAD experiment has sought νμ ? ντ oscillations by looking for the emergence of τ? in events from the CERN SPS neutrino beam. With some improvements in the techniques of analysis in relation to the results published previously and with the inclusion of data from the 1998 run, no evidence for the oscillations has been found, which results in an updated limit on the oscillation probability [Pμ → ντ) < 0.5 × 10?3 at a 90% C.L.]. The corresponding limit on the oscillation mixing angle is given by sin2μτ < 1.0 × 10?3 for large Δm 2. By using a 1% contamination of νe in the neutrino beam, we can also rule out ν e ? ντ oscillations and constrain the probability of the relevant transition as P e → ντ) < 3 × 10?2 at a 90% C.L. The cross sections for e+e? → e+(μ+ + non showering track + any photons have been measured for cm energies between 3.1 GeV and 5.2 GeV. We observe τ-pair production below the thresholdfor charm production and determine the τ mass to be 1.807 ± 0.020 GeV from a fit to the energy dependence of the cross section. The ration of the leptonic branching ratios Bμ/Be = 0.92 ± 0.32 is consistent with eμ-universality. The following branching ratios are determined for a V-A coupling: B(τ → ντeν) = B(τ → ντμν) = 0.182 + 0.028. B(τντ + charged hadron + any photons) = 0.29 ± 0.11, B(τντ + three or more charged hadrons + any photons) = 0.35 ± 0.11.  相似文献

The e+e?τ+τ? process has been measured using the CELLO detector at a mean total centre of mass energy of 34.2 GeV using essentially all the decay channels of the τ lepton. The measured cross section yields Rτ=1.03±0.05 (stat)±0.07 (syst). Topological branching fraction are given for τ → 1, 3 or 5 charged tracks. The angular distribution shows a clear 1 + cos2θ dependance with a forward-backward asymmetry of -0.103 ± 0.052 corresponding to an axial-vector coupling aτ of the τ to the weak neutral current given by aτ=?1.12 ± 0.57.  相似文献

In this paper, some general variational principles in the theory of elasticity and the theory of plasticity are established. Consider an elastic body in equilibrium with small displacement. By regarding u, v, w, ex, ey, ez, yyz, yxz, yxy, σx,σy, σz,τyzxzxy as fifteen independent functions, and letting their variations be free from any restriction, we establish two variational principles, called the principle of generalized complementary energy and the principle of generalized potential energy. Each principle is equivalent to the four sets o?fundamental equations of the theory of elasticity, namely, the equations of equilibrium, the stress strain relations, the strain displacement relations and the appropriate boundary conditions. Special cases of these principles are examined. These principles are next expressed in other forms, where u, v, w, σxy, σzyzxzxy are regarded as nine independent functions with their variations free from any restrictions. Next we consider the bending of a thin elastic plate with supported edges under large deflection. By regarding Mx, My, Mxy, Nx, Ny, Nxy, u, v, w as nine independent functions with the restriction that w should vanish along the contour of the plate, we establish a variational principle, called the principle of generalized potential energy, which is equivalent to the three sets of fundamental equations in the theory of bending of thin plate, namely, the equations of equilibrium, the displacement stress relations (strain stress relations) and the appropriate boundary conditions. This principle is next expressed in another form which is more convenient for application. As an illustration, von Kármán's equations for the large deflection of thin plate are derived from this principle. In von Kármán's equations, one unknown is the deflection and the other unknown is the membrane stress function. Therefore it is impossible to derive von Karman's equations either from the principle of minimum potential energy or from the principle of complementary energy. Finally we consider the equilibrium of a plastic body with small displacement. In the case of the deformation type of stress strain relations, we establish two variational principles, each of which is equivalent to the equations of equilibrium, a certain type of stress strain relations and the appropriate boundary conditions. In these variational principles, u, v, w and their variations are free from any restriction, and σxy, σzyzxzxy and their variations satisfy a certain yield condition. In the case of the flow type of stress strain relations, we get two similar variational principles, in which u, v, w and their variations are free from any restriction, σxy, σz, τyzxzxy and their variations satisfy a certain yield condition and σxy, σz, τyzxzxy have no variations.  相似文献

The correlation function formula for the dynamic conductivity of a system of non-interacting electrons in the field of impurities is analyzed in terms of proper connected diagrams. By selecting those diagrams appropriate in the region of weak coupling and low impurity concentration, a set of coupled equations for the energy broadening γ (ω, ε, ns) and the energy shift Δ(ω, ε, ns) is derived, where both γ and Δ depend on the frequency ω of a probing field, the energy ε of the electron, and the concentration, ng, of impurities. With the assumption of a finite range potential, these equations are solved. It is found that γ (ω, ns) is smaller than that extrapolated value which the conventional expression γ0 for the low-concentration collision frequency would predict, in the entire region studied, that the difference γ0-γ becomes appreciable when the ratio of the average time between scatterings, τc, to the average duration of a scattering, τd, is 100 or less, that γ (ω, ns) decreases monotonically from its static value γ (0, ns), and becomes vanishingly small in the region ω≈1/τd, and that in the static limit (ω=0), γ=γ0[1?(2/π) (γ0τd)+…], that the energy shift Δ is positive, and increases from 0 and reach a peak of magnitude γ0 as ω is raised from 0. By using the γ and Δ obtained, the dynamic conductivity σ(ω, ns) for degenerated electrons is calculated. The deviation, σ-σ0, from the conventional expression σ0=(?i) (nee2/M) [ω-iΓ0]?1, (ne]=number density of electrons), for 0°K, is appreciable when the ratio τcd is 100 or less. The field-term correction, which arises from the modification of the scattering due to the probing field, is found to be negligible in the entire region studied.  相似文献

We have investigated the effects of oxygen and chlorine addition in the ppm range to pure amorphous selenium (a-Se) in terms of electron and hole transport in vacuum-deposited films. We examined the electron range (μeτe) and hole range (μhτh) by carrying out time-of-flight (TOF) and interrupted field time-of-flight (IFTOF) transient photoconductivity measurements. We have found that even small amounts of oxygen in the ppm range can significantly affect both electron and hole lifetimes. Oxygen addition increases the hole lifetime and decreases the electron lifetime. As the oxygen doped a-Se films age, the hole lifetime has a tendency to decrease while the electron lifetime shows a slight improvement. In contrast, chlorine addition almost totally annihilates electron transport while the hole transport remains relatively unaffected.  相似文献

We predict a strong transient Raman gain stimulated by a Gaussian noise field in dispersive media. Our theory is based on the method of successive approximations, the first of which is the Markovian approximation. It is shown that the transient behavior will take place near critical pump intensity both for “short” (τp > T2) and “ultrashort” (τp < T2) laser pulses (τp is the pump pulse duration, T2 is the relaxation time of optical phonons). Solutions for average intensities of the Stokes wave and optical phonons are obtained for arbitrary form of the given pump pulse. We show that transient Raman gain allows to form a very steep leading edge of the Stokes pulse.The steady-state increments of the second approximation describe the effects of a strong noise field. We show that after the intensity of the pump has exceeded a value beyond which the framework of validity of the Markovian approximation does not hold anymore, the steady-state Raman gain is saturated.We give a review of experimental results and make estimations for conditions of observing transient scattering in the field of a noise pump. Methods of obtaining the powerful femtosecond pulses based on stimulated Raman scattering of broad-band excimer lasers and supercontinuum emission are suggested.  相似文献

We have investigated the current-induced spin transfer torque of a ferromagnet–insulator–ferromagnet tunnel junction by taking the spin-flip scatterings into account. It is found that the spin-flip scattering can induce an additional spin torque, enhancing the maximum of the spin torque and giving rise to an angular shift compared to the case when the spin-flip scatterings are neglected. The effects of the molecular fields of the left and right ferromagnets on the spin torque are also studied. It is found that τRx/Ie (τRx is the spin-transfer torque acting on the right ferromagnet and Ie is the tunneling electrical current) does vary with the molecular fields. At two certain angles, τRx/Ie is independent of the molecular field of the right ferromagnet, resulting in two crossing points in the curve of τRx/Ie versus the relevant orientation for different molecular fields.  相似文献

With the use of perturbation theory to perform impurity averaging, the conductance fluctuations (CF) in mesoscopic systems are evaluated at finite frequency (ω) of the applied electric field. Calculations are carried out for frequencies much smaller than the inverse elastic mean free time, ωτel−1. It is shown that the CF decrease monotonically as ω increases. Also, the frequency scale over which this decrease occurs is given by τdiff−1τel−1, where τdiff is the time for an electron to diffuse across the sample. This means that the universality of the CF at zero frequency is not preserved at finite frequency. These calculations are for a rectangular prism. Six leads covering the probe faces are attached to the cube. It is also shown that at finite frequency the sample-to-sample CF have the same size as the fluctuations of a given sample as a function of frequency.  相似文献

We present streamwise velocity structure functions 〈δvL(τ)〉=〈|v(t+τ)−v(t)|p〉 (with p=1:5) obtained in the near neutral atmospheric surface layer at the Utah SLTEST site at the highest terrestrial Reynolds number Reτ=O(106). We show that the occurrence of very large scale coherent oscillations in the streamwise velocity throughout the wall region, interpreted as genuine structural features of the canonical turbulent boundary layer, affects the scaling exponents of the p>3 order structure functions. This results in a slight alteration of the intermittent behavior of the velocity field. It was found that for positive (fast) large scale oscillation of the low-pass filtered velocity signal, deviations from the Kolmogorov K41 prediction (absence of multiscaling) are more marked, as compared to negative (slow) excursion. The results are discussed in terms of convergence of statistics from atmospheric boundary layer measurements.  相似文献

We set limits on the magnetic moment and charge radius of the τ neutrino by examining the contributions to the processe + e ?v \(\bar \nu \) γ due to such interactions. We find thatKτ)<4×10?6 (i.e.μ(ντ)<4×10?6μ B , μ B =e/2m e ) and 〈r 2〉<2×10?31 cm2 using the combined data of the MAC, ASP, CELLO, and Mark J collaborations for this process. We briefly discuss whether these bounds can be improved in any futuree + e ? experiments.  相似文献

本文报道了当外磁场He较低时(He<4Hrm,其中Hrm是超导管的最大捕获磁场),超导管的内磁场Hi与时间及外磁场的关系可表示为H0+B0(lnt+1-exp(-t/τ)),式中B0Int与磁通蠕动有关,Bc(1-exp(-t/τ))与外磁场引起的磁通扰动有关。扰动随时间很快衰减.H0,B0及1/τ随外磁场增加,在He>Hrm时,这几个量增加较大。当直流外磁场He<1/2Hrm时,超导管可将其完全屏蔽,对交流场不能完全屏蔽,但其屏蔽效果仍优于最好的金属屏蔽筒。 关键词:  相似文献

On the basis of the "exercise" experiment and the phenomenon of "self-shrink", the behavior of "less-stable" IDs (first kind of dumbbell domains) in radial contraction under an "exercise" bias field, (Hb)e, was statistically investigated in detail. It was found that the histograms of their stripe-to-bubble transition field, Hsb after exercise, become narrower and shift towards the side of lower Hsb with the increase of (Hb)e. It illustrates how the less-stable IDs lose part of their vertical Bloch lines under different (Hb)e. In addition, it was also found that the curve of the upper boundary of these histograms, (Hsb)max vs. (Hb)e, consists of two segments of straight lines. This discontinuity was proved to be due to self shrink, and the crosspoint of these two lines is just the lower limit of the self-shrink region. Furthermore, a series of photographs were taken to show the effect of radial contraction on less-stable IDs intuitively.  相似文献
