We investigate the high resolution photoassociation spectra of ~(85)Rb_2 molecules in 0~+_u long range state below the(5S_(1/2)+ 5P_(1/2)) asymptote. The ~(85)Rb atomic samples are trapped in a dark magneto–optical trap(MOT) and prepared in the dark state. With the help of trap loss technique, we obtain considerable photoassociation spectroscopy with rovibrational resolution, some of which have never been observed before. The observed spectrum is fitted by a rigid rotation model, and the rotational constants of ultracold ~(85)Rb_2 molecule in long range 0~+_u are obtained for different vibrational states. By applying the Le Roy–Bernstein method, we assign the vibrational quantum numbers and derive C_3 coefficient, which is used to obtain the potential energy curve.  相似文献

The symmetric and asymmetric fission path for 240Pu, 232Th and 226Ra is investigated within the relativistic mean-field model. Standard parametrizations which are well fitted to nuclear ground-state properties are found to deliver reasonable qualitative and quantitative features of fission, comparable to similar nonrelativistic calculations. Furthermore, stable octupole deformations in the ground states of radium isotopes are investigated. They are found in a series of isotopes, qualitatively in agreement with nonrelativistic models. But the quantitative details differ amongst the models and between the various relativistic parametrizations.  相似文献

The macroscopic deformed potential energies for super-heavy elements Z = 110,112,114,116,118 arc determined within a generalized liquid drop model (GLDM). A quasi-molecular mechanism is introduced to describe the deformation of a nucleus in the GLDM and the shell model simultaneously. The macroscopic energy of a twocenter nuclear system in the GLDM includes the volume-, surface-, and Coulomb-energies, the proximity effect at each mass asymmetry, and accurate nuclear radius. The shell correction is calculated by the Strutinsky method and the microscopic single particle energies are derived from a shell model in an axially deformed Woods-Saxon potential with the quasi-molecular shape. The total potential energy of a nucleus can be calculated by the macro-microscopic method as the summation of the liquid-drop energy and the Strutinsky shell correction. The theory is applied to predict the fusion barriers of the cold reactions ^64Ni ^208 spb → ^272 110*, ^70Zn ^208pb → ^278 112*, ^76Ge ^208seb → ^284 114*,^82Se ^208pb → ^29 116*, ^86Kr ^208pb → ^294 118*. It is found that the neck in the quasi-molecular shape is responsible for the deep valley of the fusion barrier. In the cold fusion path, double-hump fusion barriers could be predicted by the shell corrections and complete fusion events may occur.  相似文献

By the method of electrolytical etching track etching rates Vt and corresponding transversal track etching rates Vtrans of single heavy ion tracks in thin Makrofol KG foils have been measured at ion energies from 10–480 MeV/u. Makrofol KG foils of 8 μm thickness were irradiated perpendicular to the surface with 79Au and 54Xe ions at specific energies with energy loss values of REL=(10–90) *103 MeVcm2/g at GSI Darmstadt, Germany, and Lawrence Berkeley Lab., Cal., USA. Using the electrolytical etching method by measuring the resistance of the foil during the etching process (etching conditions: 6n NaOH, room temperature and controlled 50° C) the breakthrough time and track etching rates Vt, Vtrans and Vm (bulk etching rate) were analysed. Response curves (Vt/Vm)-1 as a function of Restricted Energy Loss (REL), the maximum extension of the ion induced damage perpendicular to the ion path and the dimension of the ion track core depending on the deposited energy can be estimated.  相似文献

The knowledge of the isotopic composition of man-made transuranium elements (TUE) in the environmental samples is of great interest because, on the basis of these data, statements about the origin of the TUE can be made. One of the most radiotoxic elements released during reactor accidents and nuclear weapons tests was plutonium with the alpha emitters 238Pu, 239Pu, 240Pu, 242Pu and the beta-emitter 241Pu which decays into 241Am. The determination of plutonium in “hot” particles from the Chernobyl reactor was accomplished by means of solid state nuclear track detectors registering the alpha particles and by alpha spectroscopy after chemical treatment. Furthermore, in order to perform a complete analysis of the isotopic composition one of the “hot” particles has been investigated by resonance ionization mass spectrometry which possesses an excellent sensitivity and a good isotopic resolution.  相似文献

Chronology is rather a weak point in the investigation of pallasites, the stony-iron meteorites. No chronological data are known for the Bragin pallasite. Our attempt to reconstruct its cosmic history was based on the interpretation of fission-track analysis data. To apply this method only uranium-rich phosphates can be used. Extremely rare grains of stanfieldite were extracted from the silicate sawing residue and from the pallasite sample directly.

The researches pursued by us made it possible to find two populations of fossil tracks in stanfieldite grains. The tracks of these populations strongly differed both in size, shape and character of distribution. The first population, consisting of short (L2–6 μm instead of L8–12 μm for induced fission tracks), round-shaped tracks irregularly distributed, as we suppose, suffered an intense heating process, which caused a significant amount of partial annealing. The second population, consisting of longer (L8–12 μm), rhombic-shaped tracks homogeneously distributed, occurred after this thermal event. Only the second population track density was used for the fission-track age calculation.

After correction of the fossil track density, consisting of the second population tracks, for other possible track sources, the revealed tracks were unequivocally identified as those due to the spontaneous fission of 244Pu and 238U. The largest part of them was attributed to the spontaneous fission of 244Pu; ρPuU≈3. The model fission-track age of the studied pallasite turned out to be 4.20 Gyr. This value fix the time of the last shock/thermal event in the cosmic history of the Bragin pallasite, which had caused the partial annealing of tracks presented to that time and “fission-track clock” reset.  相似文献

Experimental studies on track etch rates in CR-39 performed with protons, deuterons and alpha particles as well as 7Li, 11B and 12C ions were extended to 14N and 16O ions. The results are compatible with the general systematics found for the dependence on the kind of ion and its initial energy. Analysing the etch rate ratios as function of the restricted energy loss (REL), the non-existence of a unique relationship has been confirmed. However, assuming a dependence of the etch rate ratio not only on REL, but also on the depth within the detector where a given REL value occurs, all experimental data could be adjusted. The experiments with 14N and 16O ions allow extension of the REL range studied up to about 14 000 MeV/cm. The whole area relevant to neutron-induced charged particles generated within the CR-39 detectors is covered thereby. Having added the data for 14N and 16O ions, the array of curves for the etch rate ratio could be expanded up to 14 000 MeV/cm without inconsistencies, demonstrating the compatibility of the new data set also quantitatively.  相似文献

This paper presents advances in a procedure for alpha particle analysis using the nuclear tracks formed in solid-state materials. This method is based on the relationship between the energy deposited in the material by ionizing particles and the track developed after a well-established chemical process. The experimental study included alpha particles in the energy range from 3.2 to 5.8 MeV emitted by 148Gd, 238U, 239Pu and 244Cm. The quantitative results provide a clear signature to identify each one of the radioisotopes based on the formed track parameters. The track analysis is performed with a digital image analysis system associated with a PC mathematical processor. The wide range energy response makes this method a promising analysis system.  相似文献

The Pomeron-nucleon coupling vertex is theoretically derived from the fundamental theory of strong interaction QCD. The empirical vertex βγ^μF1 (t) used commonly in diffractive processes with a coupling strength β = 6.0 GeV^-1 is initially obtained from QCD theoretically. Our study not only reproduces the Pomeron-nucleon coupling from QCD but also clearly shows the gluonlc origin and glueball nature of Pomeron, which is a longstanding puzzle. From this investigation, we claim that Pomeron can be regarded as a Reggeized tensor glueball ζ(2230) with quantum numbers of I^GJ^PC = 0+2++. Since the tensor glueball ζ(2230) lies on the Pomeron trajectory αp(t = Mζ^2) = 2, the longstanding puzzle that no physical particle lies on the Pomeron trajectory, αp(t) = 1.08 + 0.20 GeV^-2 .t, seems to be solved.  相似文献

The bulk etch rate for two types of CR-39 detector was measured as a function of temperature and the activation energies of bulk etching was determined. Experimental values of track etch rate were derived directly from the function of the succesive measured track length vrs. etching time for 209Bi, 129Xe and 20Ne ions.

The maximum etchable length of 13 MeV/u 209Bi and 13.04 MeV/u 129Xe ions have been measured at and below these energies. A comparison of the measured and calculated track length data is presented.  相似文献

通常二维谱F1维分辨率较差,F2维分辨率较好. 即HSQC实验13C维度分辨率较差,1H维度分辨率较好. 而1H, 13C-COSY实验13C维度分辨率较好,1H维度分辨率较差. 提出一种通过HSQC和1H, 13C-COSY叠合,取较弱的值储存并显示的方法增强分辨率,采用Bruker Topspin软件AU程序实现. 该方法在不明显增加采样时间的情况下,可显著增强分辨率,信噪比也没有降低. 同时抑制了F1噪声. 处理后,谱图美观清晰.  相似文献

A laboratory system for the calibration of track detectors and charcoal detectors used in monitoring of radon and its decay products/their aerosols in air, is proposed. The system consists of three main components: (i) the alpha exposure chambers, including alpha monitoring devices and the connection with the 226Ra radioactive source. The CR-39 track detectors are mounted in the monitoring devices pre-equipped or not with paper filter; (ii) the calibrated  226Ra source. Among the three tested sources: 222Rn, 226Ra+222Rn and 226Ra, the 226Ra source is considered the most appropriate radon source for our calibration system. It is kept into an airtight flat bottom flask, the radionuclide 226Ra being always in the radioactive equilibrium with their descendants. In the alpha exposure chambers, the source assures the radon at a constant rate; (iii) the ALFAUURASE program for the computation of radioactive accumulation of the alpha 226Ra descendants. For any initial mass of the parent, the amount and the activity of each alpha decay product and of all the decay products can be calculated by this computation program. Each component of the calibration system is described in the paper. The use of the system for the calibration of CR-39 track detectors in radon measurements is tested.  相似文献

To explain the anomalously large decay rate of Σ+→p+μ+μ-, it was proposed that a new mechanism where a light CP-odd pseudoscalar boson of mA10=214.3 MeV makes a crucial contribution. Later, some authors have studied the transition π0→ e+e- and r → γA10 in terms of the same mechanism and their result indicates that with the suggested mass one cannot fit the data. This discrepancy might be caused by experimental error of Σ+→ p+μ+μ- because there were only a few events. Whether the mechanism is a reasonable one motivates us to investigate the transitions π0→ e+e-;η(η')→ μ+μ-; ηc→ μ+μ-; ηb→τ+τ- within the same framework. It is noted that for π0→ e+e-, the standard model (SM) prediction is smaller than the data, whereas the experimental central value of η→μ+μ- is also above the SM prediction. It means that there should be extra contributions from other mechanisms and the contribution of A10 may be a possible one. Theoretically calculating the branching ratios of the concerned modes, we would check if we can obtain a universal mass for A10 which reconcile the theoretical predictions and data for all the modes. Unfortunately, we find that it is impossible to have such a mass with the same coupling |gl|. Therefore we conclude that the phenomenology does not favor such a light A10, even though a small window is still open.  相似文献

Computation of etched track profiles needs the knowledge of the variable track etch rates along the ion trajectories. Using the depth-dependent track etch rates experimentally determined for perpendicularly incident protons, deuterons and alpha particles as well as 7Li, 11B, 12C, 14N and 16O ions of different energies simulations of the track development were performed. Two models of track etching were applied for that purpose recently published in literature. Although the models are based on the same physical fundamentals the results are slightly different. The reasons of the discrepancies were found by analysing the algorithms in detail. Comparison of the calculated track profiles with those determined experimentally from longitudinal sections of the etch pits showed good agreement for non-overetched as well as overetched tracks. The consistency of the whole experimental data set was checked by analysing the correlation of the track etch rates with geometric track parameters for all kinds of ions and etching times covered by the experiments.  相似文献

An extended Cu-target was irradiated with 22 and 44 GeV carbon ions. The target was in contact with a (CH2)n-block for the moderation of secondary neutrons. Small holes in the moderator were filled with either lanthanium salts or uranium oxide. The reaction 139La (n,γ) 140La was studied via the decay of 140La (40 h), and the reaction 238U (n, γ) 239U 239Np was studied via the decay of 239Np (2.3 d). In addition, a variety of solid state nuclear track detectors (SSNTD) were used. Results will be presented. The yields for the formation of (n, γ) products agree essentially with other experiments on extended targets carried out at the Synchrophasotron LHE, JINR (Dubna). To a first approximation, the breeding rate of (n, γ) products, as well as the specific track density, seen with several SSNTDs, doubles when the carbon energy is increased from 22 to 44 GeV. If, however, results at 44 GeV are compared in detail to those at 22 GeV, we observe an excess of (37 ± 9) % in the experimentally observed 239Np-breeding rate over theoretical estimations. Experiments using solid state nuclear track detectors are giving similar results. We also observed in the past such excess in the yield of other secondary particles in relativistic heavy ion interactions above a total energy of approximately 35–40 GeV.  相似文献

A shape selection method corresponding to an energy discrimination was used to eliminate unwanted events disturbing evaluation of CR-39 detectors in detecting tracks induced by particles both of perpendicular and oblique incidence. The angular dependence of the response was examined, detecting fast neutrons from 252Cf with shape selection technique at various angles and distances. Also, the CR-39 track detectors with the 252Cf source were exposed to high γ-intensity of a 60Co irradiation facility in the range 0.1 to 4.5 kGy, similar to the exposures inside spent fuel assemblies. Using the two functions the lower limit of burnup could be determined by the method.  相似文献

The hyperspherical formalism is applied in the framework of the microscopic generator-coordinate method. Three-cluster systems are described with a single generator coordinate, the hyperradius. This model is a natural extension of previous microscopic theories, and can be applied to bound states and resonances in a range of nuclei exhibiting a cluster structure. As an illustrative example, the model is applied to 6He and 6Li. Density distributions and electric dipole transition strengths are calculated, including B(E2;0+→2+) in 6He. The results are consistent with a neutron halo structure for the ground state of 6He, and with a proton–neutron halo structure of its isobaric analog state in 6Li. No 1 “soft dipole” resonance is found in 6He.  相似文献

The possibility of using CR-39 to measure the depth profile of 10B in Si is analysed. The measuring technique exploits the 10B(n, )7Li nuclear reaction. For this reason the track parameters (size, optical properties) of low energy alpha-particles (<1.47 MeV) were studied. The results showed that an energy resolution of about 100 keV could be obtained by an appropriate selection of etching conditions. The profile of 10B in Si at a depth as small as 1 μm can be measured.  相似文献
