Evidence is provided for a new resonance in theK s 0 K s 0 π+π? system with a mass of 1.97±0.01 GeV and width 40±20 MeV. It is produced with an inclusive cross section of ~6μb in the beam fragmentation process of 4-prongK + p interactions with at least 2 associatedV 0's at 32 GeV/c and decays dominantly into theK * ± (892)K s 0 π? mode.  相似文献

InclusiveK s 0 andK s 0 K s 0 production in \(\bar pp\) interactions at 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 GeV/c are studied. Cross sections ofK s 0 , K s 0 K s 0 andK (892) are presented for each incident momentum. The production ofK s 0 andK (892) through annihilation process is investigated. It is found that the annihilation process is dominant but decreases with incident momentum. The annihilation process is compared withe + e ? interactions. Remarkable similarity between them is found in the \({{x_0 = 2E(K_s^0 )} \mathord{\left/ {\vphantom {{x_0 = 2E(K_s^0 )} {\sqrt s }}} \right. \kern-0em} {\sqrt s }}\) distribution. Events with two detectedK s 0 's are analyzed. The result shows theK s 0 K s 0 pairs are produced in the central region of c.m. system and there is a clearS * signal in theK s 0 K s 0 effective mass distribution.  相似文献

New experimental results on the coherentK L 0 C K S 0 C regeneration in the momentum range 10p30 GeV/c are presented. For the quantity (f 0¯f 0/k (where f0 and¯f 0 are theKC and¯K 0C forward scattering amplitudes andk is the wave number) we have obtained: arg (f 0¯f 0)/k=–126±14 and ¦(f 0¯f 0/k¦ p –0.62±0.14 These results are well described by a simple Regge pole model including only the (-trajectory exchange in thet-channel with the intercept (0) close to 0.4.Presented at the IV International Symposium on High Energy and Elementary Particle Physics, Warszaw, September 1975.  相似文献

We have studied \(D_s^ + \to K_0^{* + } \bar K^0\) and \(D_s^ + \to \bar K_0^{*0} K^ +\) decays in the factorization of the hadron currents approximation. The spectator model leads the decays have different but negligible branching ratios. We show, however, that the inclusion of annihilation contribution can enhance the branching ratios. We predict that \(B(D_s^ + \to \bar K_0^{*0} K^ + )\) and \(B(D_s^ + \to K_0^{* + } \bar K^0 )\) could be around 2%.  相似文献

Contrary to previous simulation results on the existence of amorphous intergranular films at high-angle twist grain boundaries (GBs) in elemental solids such as silicon, recent experimental results imply structural order in some high-angle boundaries. With a novel protocol for simulating twist GBs, which allows the number of atoms at the boundary to vary, we have found new low-energy ordered structures. We give a detailed exposition of the results for the simplest boundary. The validity of our results is confirmed by first-principles calculations.  相似文献

K ±e ± νπ 0 decays have been studied using the KMN setup at the Institute for High Energy Physics (Protvino). The experiment has been performed in the 36-GeV/c hadron beams of the IHEP accelerator. The accumulated data allow us to select ~1.08M candidates for K e3 decays. Analyzing the Dalitz plot of these events, we estimate the linear slope of the charge form factor to be λ + = [30.44 ± 0.83(stat.) ± 0.74(syst.)] × 10?3.  相似文献

Inclusive K 0 and Λ photoproduction has been investigated at HERA with the H1 detector at an average photon-proton center of mass energy of 200 GeV in the transverse momentum range 0.5 < p t < 5 GeV. The production rates as a function of p t and center of mass rapidity are compared to those obtained in deep inelastic scattering at 〈Q 2〉 = 23 GeV2. A similar comparison is made of the rapidity spectra of charged particles. The rate of strangeness photoproduction is compared with $p\bar p$ measurements. The observations are also compared with next-to-leading order QCD calculations and the predictions of a Monte Carlo model.  相似文献

The reactionppp f (K + K -π+π-)p s , where theK + K ? π+π- system is centrally produced, has been studied at 300 GeV/c. TheK *0 \(K^{*0} \bar K^{*0} \) final state has been observed and the cross sections for its central production are found to be the same at 300 and 85 GeV/c. TheK *0 \(K^{*0} \bar K^{*0} \) final state appears to be produced as a non-resonant threshold enhancement.  相似文献

We find the time evolution of the system of two non-interacting unstable particles, distinguishable as well as identical ones, in arbitrary reference frame having only the Kraus operators governing the evolution of its components in the rest frame. We than calculate in the rigorous way Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen quantum correlation functions for K0K¯0 system in the singlet state taking into account CP-violation and decoherence and show that the results are exactly the same despite the fact we treat kaons as distinguishable or identical particles which means that the statistics of the particles plays no role, at least in considered cases.  相似文献

Results of the first elastic K S o regeneration experiment on carbon, using magnetic spark chamber spectrometer, are presented in the beam momentum interval 10p50 GeV/c. The d ifferentia cross section d/dt is reconstructed in the range 0·0025–t0·02 (GeV/c)2 and its slopeB is found to be momentum independent with an average valueB=(65±11) (GeV/c)–2. The results are in agreement with the calculations using the coherent production model.  相似文献
