For a subadditive fuzzy measure (not assumed finite), a Minkowski type triangle inequality, with Choquet integrals in place
of Lebesgue integrals, is shown to hold. It is immediate that the set of functions for which a certain positive power of the
absolute values have finite Choquet integrals is closed under addition, leading to a linear space analogous to the Lebesgue
space L
p
, with a metric related to the integral of that power. Under the additional condition that the subadditive fuzzy measure is
inner continuous (Sugeno), the space is shown to be complete. Consequences of the Minkowski type inequality are illustrated
in two specific instances.

The purpose of this paper is to use semiclassical analysis to unify and generalize L
p estimates on high energy eigenfunctions and spectral clusters. In our approach these estimates do not depend on ellipticity
and order, and apply to operators which are selfadjoint only at the principal level. They are estimates on weakly approximate
solutions to semiclassical pseudodifferential equations.

Conditions are specified which are necessary and sufficient for a logic over K4 to possess the weak interpolation property.
For this goal to be met, simple transitive modal algebras are described, and we establish a criterion for the class of such
algebras to be amalgamable. For extensions of K4, the weak interpolation property is proved decidable.

Using elementary graded automorphisms of polytopal algebras (essentially the coordinate rings of projective toric varieties)
polyhedral versions of the group of elementary matrices and the Steinberg and Milnor groups are defined. They coincide with
the usual K-theoretic groups in the special case when the polytope is a unit simplex and can be thought of as compact/polytopal substitutes
for the tame automorphism groups of polynomial algebras. Relative to the classical case, many new aspects have to be taken
into account. We describe these groups explicitly when the underlying polytope is 2-dimensional. Already this low-dimensional
case provides interesting classes of groups.

The Hilbert and Riesz transforms can be characterized up to scalar as the translation invariant operators that satisfy additionally
certain relative invariance of conformal transformation groups. In this article, we initiate a systematic study of translation
invariant operators from group theoretic viewpoints, and formalize a geometric condition that characterizes specific multiplier
operators uniquely up to scalar by means of relative invariance of affine subgroups. After providing some interesting examples
of multiplier operators having “large symmetry”, we classify which of these examples can be extended to continuous operators

An algorithm and different methods to determine the starting points are developed. However, numerical examples are given to

In this paper an extension of the (r|X

)-medianoid on networks introduced by Hakimi (1983) is studied. In this extension the customer considers not only the distance
but some characteristics of the facilities such as store size, quality of service and parking space. A new firm wants to establishr new facilities which have to compete with thep facilities that already exist in the market. The entry firm wants to find their locations and characteristics to maximize
profits. Three different customer choice rules (binary, partially binary and proportional preferences) are considered. Some
discretization results are obtained and a resolution procedure is proposed. The problem is solved combining a global search
algorithm based on a branch and bound procedure with some combinatorial heuristics (greedy, interchange, and tabu search).
Some computational experiences are presented.

We use this method to prove that, assuming the consistency of an I3 embedding, V = HOD is consistent with the theory ZFC + WA where WA is an axiom schema in the language {∈, j} asserting a strong but not inconsistent form of “there is an elementary embedding V → V”. This improves upon an earlier result in which consistency was established assuming an I1 embedding.

system at its arrival. We address the time-dependent and long-run analysis of the number of customers in the system at prearrivals
and postarrivals of batches and seen by customers at their arrival to the system, as well as customer blocking probabilities.
These results are then used to derive the continuous-time long-run distribution of the number of customers in the system.
Our analysis combines Markov chain embedding with uniformization and uses stochastic ordering as a way to bound the errors
of the computed performance measures.

The construction of frame wavelets with compact supports is a meaningful problem in wavelet analysis. In particular, it is a hard work to construct the frame wavelets with explicit analytic forms. For a given n × n real expansive matrix A, the frame-sets with respect to A are a family of sets in R^n. Based on the frame-sets, a class of high-dimensional frame wavelets with analytic forms are constructed, which can be non-bandlimited, or even compactly supported. As an application, the construction is illustrated by several examples, in which some new frame wavelets with compact supports are constructed. Moreover, since the main result of this paper is about general dilation matrices, in the examples we present a family of frame wavelets associated with some non-integer dilation matrices that is meaningful in computational geometry. 相似文献
