The extraction and extraction-chromatographic behavior of many elements in the tributylphosphate — HBr solution system has been studied. The investigation performed has made it possible to develop a simple technique for neutron activation determination of 22 impurity elements in high purity indium samples with detection limits from 0.1 ppm for Fe and Zr to 0.01 ppb for Na, Sc, Cu, As, La and W.  相似文献

Instrumental neutron activation analysis was applied to multielement trace analysis of high purity aluminium samples. In order to reduce the production of24Na from the matrix, samples were activated by thermal neutron flux of high cadmium ratio. Detection limits of various impurity elements were evaluated. So called “five nine” class standard aluminium samples were analyzed and concentrations of various impurity elements were determined. The analytical results obtained on zone refined aluminium samples showed that zone refining is effective against many elements, such as Na, Cr, Fe, Co, Cu, Ga, As, Br, Ba, La, Ce, Sm, Yb, Lu, Hf, W, Th and U, but not very effective against the element Sc.  相似文献

The extraction and extraction-chromatographic behaviour of a variety of elements in the TBP-HBr system with concentrations from 0.1 to 7M HBr has been studied. The results allowed the development of simple procedures for radiochemical neutron activation determination of 22 impurity elements (Na, K, Sc, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Ga, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Zn, Mo, Ag, Sb, Te, Ba, La, Hf and W) in high-purity cadmium and indium samples with detection limits from 1 g g–1 for Fe and Zr to 0.01 ng g–1 for Na, Sc, Mn with relative standard deviations < 0.15. To increase the selectivity of the extraction-chromatographic separation, use was made of extraction suppression and co-extraction effects. The procedure for the extraction-chromatographic separation of scandium from a number of other elements is described as an example. The procedure can be used for simultaneous quantitative separation of impurity radionuclides from radiation produced long-life scandium radionuclides in the neutron activation analysis of titanium and vanadium.  相似文献

In this work, we determined the levels of trace metals in protein fractions isolated from rock oysters by neutron activation analysis (NAA) and particle induced X-ray emission (PIXE). Proteins were extracted from mantles and hepatopancreases of rock oysters and fractionated by size-exclusion high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The protein fractions from mantles and hepatopancreases are found to be abundant in Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn, Pb, and Ag. HPLC profiles of Fe, Cu, Zn, and Ag indicate that those elements are bound to proteins extracted from mantles and hepatopancreases.  相似文献

采用密度泛函理论系统研究了分别含有十四种天然杂质的闪锌矿的电子结构,并讨论了这十四种杂质对闪锌矿半导体性质的影响.研究结果表明,锰、铁、钴、镍、铜、镉、汞、银、铅、锑杂质的存在使闪锌矿的带隙变窄,导致吸收带边增大.除了镉和汞杂质外,其余杂质的存在均导致费米能级向高能级方向移动,并且在闪锌矿禁带中产生了杂质能级.铁、镓、锗、铟、锡、锑杂质使闪锌矿的半导体类型由p型变为n型;而锰、钴、镍、铜、镉、汞、银、铅杂质对闪锌矿的半导体类型没有影响.铜杂质使闪锌矿由直接带隙变为间接带隙半导体.  相似文献

An attempt was made to see if there is any correlation between the trace element concentrations in the human blood serum and some specific disease. The serum samples of the patients suffering from cancer, Down syndrome, and Banti syndrome were analyzed by the neutron activation method and compared with the trace element concentrations observed among the clinically healthy men. The cancer patients gave below normal concentrations in Rb, Mn, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, Al and Se. The Down syndrome patients were found to have similar deficiencies in Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Zn, Cu and Sb.  相似文献

研究了用酸分解试样后不需分离基体直接用电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱(ICP-AES)法测定铅锭中银、铜、铋、砷、锑、锡、锌、铁、镉、镍、铊11种杂质元素的方法。优化了样品前处理条件及仪器检测条件。方法的检出限为0.0012~0.0168μg/mL,回收率为89%~110%,RSD为2.3%~5.0%。方法简便快速,检出限低,精密度和准确度能满足铅锭中杂质元素的检测要求,具有较强的实用性和可操作性,可用于铅锭中杂质元素的测定。  相似文献

Food samples reflecting average food consumption by an adult in the southeastern, northeastern, central, and western parts of the United States were collected and prepared as if for consumption. The prepared foods were divided into twelve different food categories and analyzed by instrumental neutron activation analysis. The concentration of Ca, Mn, Mg, Al, Na, K, Cu, Cl, Sb, Hg, Se, Fe, Zn and Co is reported for these food samples.  相似文献

Hair samples were collected from 20 metallurgical workers (10 males and 10 females) and from 59 control subjects (32 males and 27 females), whose jobs do not indicate a specific occupational exposure. The concentrations of ten minor and trace elements (Al, Co, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Sb, Se, V and Zn) were determined by instrumental neutron activation analysis (INAA). The statistical data distributions, the sex and age influences in these elemental concentrations and the average values obtained for the control group were compared with published data. The effect of occupational exposure to the metallic elements was reflected in elemental composition of hair by significant higher concentration levels of Al, Co, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Sb, V and Zn in the hair of the exposed group, when compared with the control group.  相似文献

A chalcocite mineral sample of Shaha, Congo is used in the present study. An electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) study on powdered sample confirms the presence of Mn(II), Fe(III) and Cu(II). Optical absorption spectrum indicates that Fe(III) impurity is present in octahedral structure whereas Cu(II) is present in rhombically distorted octahedral environment. Mid-infrared results are due to water and sulphate fundamentals.  相似文献

The trace element content of the total daily diet (food and beverages) of each of 4 adult males was determined over a period of one week. A method of radiochemical neutron activation analysis is briefly described which enables the determination of up to 31 elements in biological samples. Of the 25 elements determined in the diet 12 are essential elements (Ca, Cl, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mn, Mo, Na, Se, Zn) while 6 (As, Ba, Br, Cd, Hg, Sb) are classified as toxic. The average concentrations of the toxic trace elements As, Cd and Hg of the diet are below the provisional tolerable dietary intakes recommended by WHO/FAO. The contents of Cl, Cu, Fe, K, Mn, Na and Zn are adequate to the proposed nutritional requirements.  相似文献

A new analytical procedure for the direct determination of metal impurities (Cr, Cu, Fe and V) in aluminium oxide ceramic powders by slurry sampling fluorination assisted electrothermal vaporization-inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry (ETV-ICP-AES) is reported. A polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) emulsion was used as a fluorinating reagent to promote the vaporization of impurity elements in aluminium oxide ceramic powders from the graphite tube. A vaporization stage with a long ramp time and a short hold time provided the possibility of temporal analyte-matrix separation. The experimental results indicated that a 10 microL 1% m/v slurry of aluminium oxide could be destroyed and vaporized completely with 600 micrograms PTFE under the selected conditions. Two aluminium oxide ceramic powder samples were used without any additional pretreatment. Analytical results obtained by using standard addition method with aqueous standard solution were checked by comparison of the results with pneumatic nebulization (PN)-ICP-AES based on the wet-chemical decomposition and analyte-matrix separation. The limits of detection (LODs) between 0.30 microgram g-1 (Fe) and 0.08 microgram g-1 (Cu) were achieved, and, the repeatability of measurements was mainly better than 10%.  相似文献

SR-method has been used for studying reactions of muonium as an analogue of a light hydrogen isotope with impurity atoms and point-like defects. The relaxation rate of muonium polarization Mu was measured for 11 samples with different concentrations of impurity atoms and defects. The rate constants of reactions of muonium with Fe, Al, Li, Ba, Cu, Mn, Ti and Pb atoms in quartz were defined.  相似文献

Nondestructive activation analysis by proton beam bombardment has been applied to cobalt specimens. Thick target yields were measured on 18 elements for the purpose of quantitative analysis. In order to detect precisely the radionuclides with different half-lives, gamma-ray spectrometry was repeated three times after different cooling times of 1, 15 and 250 hrs from the finish of bombardment for 1 hrby 10.4 MeV proton beam. It was found that Ti, Cr, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Ge, As, Se, Zr, Nb, Mo, Cd, Sn, Sb, and Te of the order of ppm or less could be detected accurately. Using the proton activation analysis developed, the purification effects of anion exchange, electrolytic extraction, and floating zone-refining have been examined. It was confirmed that the concentrations of the impurity elements contained in the starting material decreased stepwise upon the application of each purification method.  相似文献

Instrumental neutron activation was used for the determination of 23 trace and minor elements in 4 different samples of brewer's yeast. Detection limits for these elements vary from 2 ppb to 100 ppm. The following average concentrations were found (ppm, dry weight): Al 597, Br 0.36, Cl 1473, Co 0.21, Cu 19, Fe 285, K 16 400, Mg 1355, Mn 8.4, Na 2330, Rb 19, Sb 0.053, Se 1.2, V 2.2 and Zn 80. NBS standard 1569 was also analyzed and the following concentrations (in ppm) were measured: Al 2300, Br 0.65, Ce 0.23, Cl 460, Co 0.26, Cr 2.12, Cu 11, Fe 707, Gd 7.1, Hf 0.13, K 15 500, Mg 1780, Mn 7, Na 510, Rb 16, Sb 0.075, Sc 0.18, Se 0.92, Th 3.7, Ti 38, U 0.49, V 4.1 and Zn 70.  相似文献

建立了电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱(ICP-AES)法测定锌锭中的Pb、Cd、Fe、Cu、Sn 5种杂质元素的方法。样品用硝酸(1+1)溶解后,在稀硝酸介质中利用电感耦合等离子体原子发射光谱仪测定其中Pb、Cd、Fe、Cu、Sn的含量,测定的相对标准偏差(RSD,n=3)小于1.7%,对锌光谱标样BYG0505的测定结果与标准值基本一致。实现了对锌锭中多种杂质元素的简便、快速、准确的同时测定。  相似文献

The capabilities of reactor neutron and 12 MeV proton activation were evaluted on samples of orchard leaves, beef liver and bovine liver. Based on γ-ray spectrometry, As, Ca, Cu, Fe, Mo, Pb, Sr, Ti, Zn and Zr at levels ranging from 2 to 20 900 ppm were detected following proton activation of 1 hour. Al, Br, Ca, Cl, Cu, Mg, Mn, Rb and V (ranging from 0.4 to 20 900 ppm) were measured by neutron activation (1 min irradiation). As, Ba, Br, Cr, Co, Fe, Hg, La, Na, Rb, Sb and Zn (ranging from 0.2 to 2400 ppm) were determined following a 14 h neutron irradiation. Although covering different elements, the two techniques are comparable in their scope, i. e. detection limits that can be achieved and number of elements that can be detected simultaneously.  相似文献

Neutron activation analysis methods for the determination of impurities in zirconium cladding material and uranium oxide are described. Detection limits for the elements Al, Cd, Cr, Co, Cu, Hf, Fe, Mn, Ni, W and U in zirconium are below that required by the ASTM B 352-79 standard. The method has been tested on the NIST SRM 360a Zircaloy-2 from which the elements Na, Mg, Al, Ca, V, Cr, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Eu and U have been detected. The values for Cr, Fe, Ni and Cu are compared with the certified values. A method for the pre-irradiation separation of the elements Mg, Na, Al, K, Sc, Ca, V, Mn, Cr, Fe, Co, Cu, Zn, Rb, Zr, Cd, Cs, REE and Hf from uranium has been developed. A neutron activation analysis method for the determination of those elements in uranium is described. The method is tested by the analysis of the IAEA reference sample SR-54/64. The elements Al, Mn, V, Cu, Cr, Co, Ni and Fe have been detected and the results compared with the certified values.  相似文献

Instrumental neutron activation analysis has been applied to semiconductor grade silicon to study the concentration levels of impurity elements, the contamination during the single crystal growing process, and the vertical and radial distributions of impurities, along with the decontamination effect in the analysis. Twenty elements of Au, Br, As, W, Cr, Co, Na, Eu, La, Se, Zn, U, Th, Hf, Fe, Sb, Ag, Ce, Tb and Ta have been analyzed in p- and n-type wafers, single crystals and a polycrystal by a single comparator method using two comparators of gold and cobalt. Considerable surface contamination has been found and could be removed by etching the surface with nitric and hydrofluoric acid before and after irradiation. The impurity concentration has been found to be generally increased in the process of single crystal growth. The vertical and radial distributions of impurities have revealed that some impurity elements were more concentrated in the top region of a single crystal rod than in the middle region, and that Br, Cr, La, Eu and Sb were enriched in the central region and As, U and Fe in the outer region.  相似文献
