A rapid and efficient procedure for the preparation of various aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes was reported.The method developed produced excellent yields via one-pot condensation of β-naphthol with various aryl-aldehydes in the presence of Keggin vanadium substituted heteropolyacid,H5PW10V2O40,as catalyst under solvent free conditions.The present methodology therefore offered several advantages but not limited to excellent yields(82%-98%),short reaction times(30-50 min),mild reaction conditions,simple work-up,as well as the utilization of cheap and environmentally benign catalyst in the absence of organic solvents.  相似文献

An efficient and direct procedure has been developed for the preparation of amidoalkyl naphthols by a one-pot condensation of aryl aldehydes, 2-naphthol and urea or amides, in the presence of HClO4-SiO2 as a heterogeneous catalyst. The reactions were carried out under reflux and solvent-free conditions. The present methodology offers several advantages such as excellent yields, simple procedure, easy work-up and ecofriendly reaction condition. The catalyst is easily prepared, stable, reusable and efficient under the reaction conditions.  相似文献

Iron zirconium phosphate(ZPFe) nanoparticles were found to function as an efficient catalyst for the acetylation of a wide range of alcohols and phenols using acetic anhydride, generating good to excellent yields under solvent-free conditions. The steric and electronic properties of various sub-strates had a significant influence on the reaction conditions required to achieve the acetylation. The catalyst used in the current study was characterized by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry, X-ray diffraction, N2 adsorption-desorption, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. These analyses revealed that the interlayer distance in the catalyst increased from 7.5 to 9.3  when Fe3+ was intercalated between the layers, whereas the crystallinity of the material was reduced. This nanocatalyst could also be recovered and reused at least six times without any discernible decrease in its catalytic activity. This new method for the acetylation of alcohols and phenols has several important advantages, including mild and environ-mentally friendly reaction conditions, as well as good to excellent yields and a facile work-up.  相似文献

1,4-Dihydropyridine and polyhydroquinoline derivatives have been prepared efficiently in a one-pot synthesis via Hantzsch condensation using nanosized titanium dioxide as a heterogeneous catalyst.The present methodology offers several advantages such as excellent yields,short reaction times (30-120 min),environmentally benign,and mild reaction conditions.The catalyst can be readily separated from the reaction products and recovered in excellent purity for direct reuse.  相似文献

In(OTf)3 plays the role of a Lewis acid catalyst in the Pechmann condensation of phenols with β-ketoesters under solvent-free conditions to give coumarin derivatives. This novel and inexpensive method has advantages such as short reaction time, excellent product yields, and avoids the use of organic solvents in agreement with green chemistry principles. Catalyst loadings can be as low as 1 mol% to give high yields of the corresponding coumarins at 80 °C. The catalyst can be recovered after the reaction, and reused with only a slight decrease in the yield.  相似文献

A mild, simple, novel and highly efficient method for the rapid protection of various primary, secondary, tertiary aliphatic and aromatic alcohols using hexamethyldisilazane (HMDS) in the presence of N-bromosuccinimide (NBS) as an active, inexpensive, non-toxic and readily available catalyst under solvent-free conditions is described. Magnetite nanoparticles coated with sulfuric acid-functionalized mesoporous MCM-48 were syn-thesized and used as a catalyst in three-component domino reactions of indoles, arylglyoxal mono-hydrates andN-arylenaminones to furnish the desired 3,3′-bisindoles by formation of two C–C and one C–N bonds in a smooth cascade with good yields under mild reaction conditions.  A simple and versatile method for the synthesis of 1,5-benzodiazepines from o-phenylenediamine and ketones in the presence of solvents and under solvent-free conditions that used an amorphous mesoporous iron aluminophosphate as catalyst was developed. High yields with excellent selectivity were obtained with a wide variety of ketones under mild reaction conditions. Polyethyleneglycol bound sulfonic acid (PEG-OSO?H), a chlorosulphonic acid-modified polyethylene glycol was successfully used as an efficient and eco-friendly polymeric catalyst in the synthesis of 14-aryl/heteroaryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthenes obtained from the reaction of 2-naphthol and carbonyl compounds under solvent-free conditions with short reaction times and excellent yields. Sulfonic-acid-functionalized silica was applied as an efficient heterogeneous acid catalyst in the Ritter reaction to prepare amides by reaction of various benzylic, allylic, and tertiary alcohols with various nitriles in good to excellent yields under solvent-free conditions. An efficient, green and eco-friendly protocol has been developed for the synthesis of 2,4,5-trisubstituted and 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles via one-pot condensation reaction using Dendrimer-PWAn as catalyst under solvent-free conditions or ultrasonic irradiation in excellent yields. The reactions under conventional heating conditions were compared with the ultrasonic-assisted reactions. The operational simplicity, practicability and applicability of this protocol to various substrates make it an interesting alternative to previous procedures. The present methodology offers several advantages such as excellent yields, short reaction times, a cleaner reaction, and the absence of any tedious work-up or purification. The catalyst is easily separated from the products by filtration and also exhibits remarkable reusable activity. Microwave-heated enantioselective additions of dimethylzinc to various aldehydes are reported. Dramatically reduced reaction times and lower catalyst loadings (5%), compared with conventionally used conditions, can be achieved, with excellent yields and just small loss of enantioselectivity (up to 83% enantioselectivity is achieved). In the reaction with aliphatic aldehydes the same enantioselectivity has been achieved for microwave-heated and conventional room temperature conditions.  相似文献
