The lead(II) ion is regarded as a serious environmental contaminant. A considerable need exists to develop selective ligands for remediation of this metal ion. Herein, the coordination chemistry of lead(II) is investigated with three O,S donor ligands: thiomaltol, 3-hydroxy-1-methyl-2(1H)-pyridinethione (3,2-HOPTO), and 3-hydroxy-1,2-dimethyl-4(1H)-pyridinethione (3,4-HOPTO). The X-ray structures of [Pb(thiomaltolato)(2)] and [Pb(3,4-HOPTO)(2)] have been solved, revealing the expected 4-coordinate geometries. Electronic spectra have been obtained for the lead(II) complexes with all three ligands. Preliminary solution studies show that the thiomaltol ligand binds lead(II) preferentially over magnesium(II) and calcium(II); however, [Pb(thiomaltolato)(2)] is not stable in the presence of 1 equiv of EDTA. Tetradentate ligands derived from these O,S chelators are expected to generate higher affinity ligands for lead(II) sequestration.  相似文献

Two new lead(II) phosphonates, namely, Pb2[PMIDA]*1.5H2O (1) (H4PMIDA = H2O3PCH2N(CH2CO2H)2) and Pb(H2L) (2) (H4L = CH3N(CH2PO3H2)2), have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions at 150 degrees C. Complex 1 crystallized in tetragonal P42/n with cell dimensions of a = 17.317(7) and c = 7.507(5) A and Z = 8. In complex 1, Pb(1) is 6-coordinated by chelation in a tetradentate fashion by a PMIDA ligand (3 O, 1 N) and two phosphonate oxygen atoms from neighboring Pb(PMIDA) units in a severely distorted octahedral geometry, whereas Pb(2) is 6-coordinated by 4 carboxylate and 2 phosphonate oxygen atoms also with a severely distorted octahedral environment. These two different types of Pb(II) ions are interconnected through bridging carboxylate and phosphonate groups, resulting in a 3D network with micropores, whose cavity is filled by lattice water molecules interlinked via hydrogen bonds. Each PMIDA ligand bridges with 8 Pb(II) ions (3 Pb(1) and 5 Pb(2)). Complex 2 is orthorhombic, P2(1)2(1)2(1), with a = 7.382(5), b = 7.440(6), and c = 30.75(2) A and Z = 8. The structure of 2 features a 2D double lead(II) phosphonate layer along the ab plane. Each lead(II) ion is 5-coordinated by five phosphonate oxygen atoms from four ligands in a distorted trigonal bipyramid geometry. These double layers are further interconnected via hydrogen bonds between the protonated and uncoordinated phosphonate oxygens along the c-axis.  相似文献

Three malonato-bridged copper(II) complexes of the formulas [[Cu(H2O)3][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]]n (1), [[Cu(H2O)4]2[Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]] [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2][[Cu(H2O)4][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]] (2), and [Cu(H2O)4][Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2] (3) (C3H2O4 = malonate dianion) have been prepared, and the structures of the two former have been solved by X-ray diffraction methods. The structure of compound 3 was already known. Complex 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pcab, Z = 8, with unit cell parameters of a = 10.339(1) A, b = 13.222(2) A, and c = 17.394(4) A. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/c, Z = 4, with unit cell parameters of a = 21.100(4) A, b = 21.088(4) A, c = 14.007(2) A, and beta = 115.93(2) degrees. Complex 1 is a chain compound with a regular alternation of aquabis(malonato)copper(II) and triaquacopper(II) units developing along the z axis. The aquabis(malonato)copper(II) unit acts as a bridging ligand through two slightly different trans-carboxylato groups exhibiting an anti-syn coordination mode. The four carboxylate oxygens, in the basal plane, and the one water molecule, in the apical position, describe a distorted square pyramid around Cu1, whereas the same metal surroundings are observed around Cu2 but with three water molecules and one carboxylate oxygen building the equatorial plane and a carboxylate oxygen from another malonato filling the apical site. Complex 2 is made up of discrete mono-, di-, and trinuclear copper(II) complexes of the formulas [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]2-, [[Cu(H2O)4] [Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)2]], and [[Cu(H2O)4]2[Cu(C3H2O4)2(H2O)]]2+, respectively, which coexist in a single crystal. The copper environment in the mononuclear unit is that of an elongated octahedron with four carboxylate oxygens building the equatorial plane and two water molecules assuming the axial positions. The neutral dinuclear unit contains two types of copper atoms, one that is six-coordinated, as in the mononuclear entity, and another that is distorted square pyramidal with four water molecules building the basal plane and a carboxylate oxygen in the apical position. The overall structure of this dinuclear entity is nearly identical to that of compound 3. Finally, the cationic trimer consists of an aquabis(malonato)copper(II) complex that acts as a bismonodentate ligand through two cis-carboxylato groups (anti-syn coordination mode) toward two tetraaqua-copper(II) terminal units. The environment of the copper atoms is distorted square pyramidal with four carboxylate oxygens (four water molecules) building the basal plane of the central (terminal) copper atom and a water molecule (a carboxylate oxygen) filling the axial position. The magnetic properties of 1-3 have been investigated in the temperature range 1.9-290 K. Overall, ferromagnetic behavior is observed in the three cases: two weak, alternating intrachain ferromagnetic interactions (J = 3.0 cm-1 and alpha J = 1.9 cm-1 with H = -J sigma i[S2i.S2i-1 + alpha S2i.S2i+1]) occur in 1, whereas the magnetic behavior of 2 is the sum of a magnetically isolated spin doublet and ferromagnetically coupled di- (J3 = 1.8 cm-1 from the magnetic study of the model complex 3) and trinuclear (J = 1.2 cm-1 with H = -J (S1.S2 + S1.S3) copper(II) units. The exchange pathway that accounts for the ferromagnetic coupling, through an anti-syn carboxylato bridge, is discussed in the light of the available magneto-structural data.  相似文献

A series of Pb(II) coordination polymers [Pb(ndc)(dpp)] (1), [Pb(ndc)(ptcp)].0.5 H2O (2), [Pb(ndc)(dppz)] (3), [Pb(ndc)(tcpn)(2)] (4), [Pb2(ndc)2(tcpp)] (5), [Pb(Hndc)2].H2O (6), [Pb(ndc)(dma)] (7), [Pb(bdc)(dma)] (8), [Pb(trans-chdc)(H2O)] (9), and [Pb2(cis-chdc)2].NH(CH3)2 (10), where ndc=1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylate, dpp=4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline, ptcp=2-phenyl-1H-1,3,7,8-tetraazacyclopenta[l]phenanthrene, dppz=dipyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c]phenazine, tcpn=2-(1H-1,3,7,8-tetraazacyclopenta[l]phenanthren-2-yl)naphthol, tcpp=4-(1H-1,3,7,8-tetraazacyclopenta[l]phenanthren-2-yl)phenol, dma=N,N-dimethylacetamide, bdc=1,4-benzenedicarboxylate, and chdc=1,4-cyclohexanedicarboxylate, have been synthesized from a hydrothermal or solvothermal reaction system by varying the ligands or the solvents. Compounds 1-5 crystallize with an N-donor chelating ligand and an aromatic dicarboxylate linker. Compounds 1-4 are 1D polymers with different pi-pi stacking interactions, whereas compound 5 consists of 2D layers. The structures of compounds 7, 8, and 10 are 3D frameworks formed by connection of the Pb(II) centers by organic acid ligands. Compound 7 is chiral although the ndc ligand is achiral, while the framework of 8 is a typical 3D (3,4)-connected net. Compound 10 is the first example of Pb(II) wheel cluster [Pb(8)O(8)] units bridged by carboxylate groups. Compound 6 contains 1D chains which are further extended to a 3D structure by pi-pi interactions. Compound 9 consists of a 2D network constructed by Pb(II) centers and trans-chdc ligands. The structural differences between 7 and 8 and between 9 and 10 indicate the importance of solvents for framework formation of the coordination polymers. By varying the solvent the cis and trans conformations of H(2)chdc in 9 and 10 were separated completely. The photoluminescence and nonlinear optical properties of the coordination polymers have also been investigated.  相似文献

Pyridine-2-carboxylic acid, pyridine-2,3-dicarboxylic acid, and pyridine-2,4-dicarboxylic acid or their [(Ph(3)P)(2)N](+) salts react with the triply bonded dirhenium(II) complex Re(2)Cl(4)(mu-dppm)(2) (dppm = Ph(2)PCH(2)PPh(2)) in refluxing ethanol to afford unsymmetrical substitution products of the type Re(2)(eta(2)-N,O)Cl(3)(mu-dppm)(2), where N,O represents a chelating pyridine-2-carboxylate ligand (N,O = O(2)C-2-C(5)H(4)N (1), O(2)C-2-C(5)H(3)N(-3-CO(2)Et) (3), or O(2)C-2-C(5)H(3)N(-4-CO(2)H) (4)). The carboxylate groups in the 3- and 4- positions are not bound to the metal centers; in the case of 3 this group undergoes esterification in the refluxing ethanol solvent. Structure determinations have shown that 1, 3, and 4 possess similar structures in which there is an axial Re-O (carboxylate) bond (collinear with the Re(triple bond)Re bond) and the mu-dppm ligands are bound in a trans, cis fashion to the two Re atoms which have the ligand atom arrangement [P(2)NOClReReCl(2)P(2)]. The tridentate dianionic pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate ligand (dipic) reacts with Re(2)Cl(4)(mu-dppm)(2) in ethanol at room temperature to give a compound Re(2)(dipic)Cl(2)(mu-dppm)(2) (6) in which the dipic ligand is bound in a symmetrical eta(3)-(O,N,O) fashion to one Re atom, with the N atom in an axial position (collinear with the Re(triple bond)Re bond) and with preservation of the same trans, trans coordination of the mu-dppm ligands that is present in Re(2)Cl(4)(mu-dppm)(2). Under reflux conditions, this kinetic product isomerizes to the thermodynamically favored isomer 5 with an unsymmetrical structure in which the dipic ligand chelates to one Re atom (as in 1, 3, and 4) and uses its other carboxylate group to bridge to the second Re atom. The isomerization of 6 to 5, which also results in a change in the coordination of the pair of mu-dppm ligand to trans, cis, is believed to occur by a partial "merry-go-round" process, a mechanism that probably explains the structures of the thermodynamic products 1, 3, and 4. The reaction of Re(2)Cl(4)(mu-dppm)(2) with pyridine-3-carboxylate gives the trans isomer of Re(2)(mu:eta(2)-O(2)C-3-C(5)H(4)N)(2)Cl(2)(mu-dppm)(2) (2) in which a pair of carboxylate bridges are present and the pyridine N atom is not coordinated. Single-crystal X-ray structural details are reported for 1-6.  相似文献

An investigation into the dependence of coordination polymer architectures on organic-acid ligands is reported on the basis of the reaction of Pb(NO3)2 and eight structurally related organic-acid ligands in the presence or absence of N-donor chelating ligands. Eight novel lead(II)-organic architectures, [Pb(adip)(dpdp)]2 1, [Pb(glu)(dpdp)] 2, [Pb(suc)(dpdp)] 3, [Pb(fum)(dpdp)] . H2O 4, [Pb2(oba)(dpdp)2] . 2(dpdp).2(NO3).2H2O 5, [Pb2(1,4-bdc)2(dpdp)2] . H2O 6, [Pb(dpdc)(dpdp)] 7, and [Pb(1,3-bdc)(dpdp)] . H2O 8, where dpdp = dipyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c]-phenazine, H2adip = adipic acid, H2glu = glutaric acid, H2suc = succinic acid, H2fum = fumaric acid, H2oba = 4,4'-oxybis(benzoic acid), 1,4-H2bdc = benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid, H2dpdc = 2,2'-diphenyldicarboxylic acid, and 1,3-H2bdc = benzene-1,3-dicarboxylic acid, were successfully synthesized under hydrothermal conditions through varying the organic-acid linkers and structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. Compounds 1-8 crystallize in the presence of organic-acid linkers as well as secondary N-donor chelating ligands. Diverse structures were observed for these complexes. 1 and 5 have dinuclear structures, which are further stacked via strong pi-pi interactions to form 2D layers. 2-3 and 6-8 feature chain structures, which are connected by strong pi-pi interactions to result in 2D and 3D supramolecular architectures. Compound 4 contains 2D layers, which are further extended to a 3D structure by pi-pi interactions. A systematic structural comparison of these 8 complexes indicates that the organic-acid structures have essential roles in the framework formation of the Pb(II) complexes.  相似文献

Hydrothermal reactions of lead(II) acetate with phenylarsonic acid (H2L1) (or 4-hydroxy-3-nitrophenylarsonic acid, H3L2) and 5-sulfoisophthalic acid monosodium salt (NaH2SIP) (or 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid (H3BTC)) as the second metal linkers afforded three novel mixed-ligand lead(II) carboxylate-arsonates, namely, Pb5(SIP)2(L1)2(H2O) 1, Pb3(SIP)(L2)(H2O) 2 and Pb(H2L2)(H2BTC) 3. The structure of 1 features a complicated 3D network composed of 2D double layers of lead(II) sulfoisophthalate bridged by 1D chains of lead(II) arsonates along b-axis, forming large tunnels along b-axis which are occupied by phenyl rings of the arsonate ligands. In 2, the Pb(II) ions are bridged by {L2}3− anions into a 2D double layer whereas the interconnection of the Pb(II) ions via bridging and chelating SIP anions gave a 2D double layer. The cross-linkage of the above two building units leads to a complicated 3D network. In 3, the interconnection of the Pb(II) ions via bridging {H2L2} and {H2BTC} anions leads to a 1D double chain down a-axis. These 1D chains are further interconnected via hydrogen bonds among non-coordination carboxylate groups and arsonate oxygens into a 3D supramolecular architecture.  相似文献

Complexes of Co(II) with new ligands N',N'-bis(3-carboxy-1-oxoprop-2-enyl) 2-amino-N-arylbenzamidine (C(21)H(17)N(3)O(6)), N',N'-bis(3-carboxy-1-oxopropanyl) 2-amino-N-arylbenzamidine (C(21)H(21)N(3)O(6)) and N',N'-bis(3-carboxy-1-oxophenelenyl) 2-amino-N-arylbenzamidine (C(29)H(21)N(3)O(6)) have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, vibrational spectra, electronic spectra, TOF-mass spectra, magnetic susceptibility measurements, thermal studies and X-ray powder diffraction studies. Vibrational spectra indicate coordination of amide and carboxylate oxygen of the ligands along with two water molecules giving a MO(6) weak field octahedral chromophore. Electronic spectra and magnetic susceptibility measurements reveal octahedral geometry for Co(II) complexes. The elemental analyses and mass spectral data have justified the ML complexes. Kinetic and thermodynamic parameters were computed from the thermal data using Coats and Redfern method, which confirm first-order kinetics. Powder diffraction determines the cell parameters of the complexes.  相似文献

The reactions between lead vapored by laser ablation and different aromatic molecules (C6H6, C5H5N, C4H4O, or C4H5N) seeded in argon carrier gas were studied by a reflectron time-of-flight mass spectrometer (RTOF-MS) with a photoelectron spectrometer. The adiabatic electron affinities (EAs) of the dominant anionic products PbmC6H5(-), Pb(m)C5H4N(-) (m = 1-4) and Pb(m)C4H3 (-), Pb(m)C4H4N(-) (m = 1-3) dehydrogenated complexes are obtained from the photoelectron spectra with 308 and 193 nm photon, respectively. It is found that the EAs of Pb(m)C4H4N are higher than those of Pb(m)C6H5, Pb(m)C5H4N, and Pb(m)C4H3O with the same metal number m. The possible structures for Pb(m)C4H4N(-) complexes were calculated with density functional theory (DFT) and the most stable structure was confirmed. The adiabatic detachment energies for the most stable structure were in agreement with the experimental PES results. The calculated density of state (DOS) agrees with the experimental PES spectrum well. It was confirmed by the theoretical calculations that the C4H4N group bonds on lead clusters through the Pb-N sigma bond.

Treatment of two kinds of ferrocenyl-substituted carboxylate ligands (3-ferrocenyl-2-crotonic acid, HOOC-CH=(CH(3))CFc (Fc=(eta(5)-C(5)H(5))Fe(eta(5)-C(5)H(4))) or O-ferrocecarbonyl benzoic acid, o-HOOCC(6)H(4)COFc with Pb(OAc)(2).3H(2)O, Zn(OAc)(2).2H(2)O, or Cd(OAc)(2).2H(2)O) resulted in four novel ferrocene-containing coordination polymers [[Pb(mu(2)-eta(2)-OOCCH=(CH(3))CFc)(2)].MeOH](n) (1), [[Zn(o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(2)(4,4'-bipy)(H(2)O)(2)].2MeOH.2H(2)O](n) (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine) (2), [[Cd(o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(2)(bpe)(MeOH)(2)].2H(2)O](n) (bpe = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethene) (3), and [Pb(o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(eta(2)-o-OOCC(6)H(4)COFc)(bpe)](n)() (4). Their crystal structures have been characterized by single X-ray determinations. In polymer 1, Pb(II) ions are bridged by tridentate FcC(CH(3))=CHCOO(-) anions, forming an infinite chain [Pb(mu(2)-eta(2)-OOC=CH(CH(3))CFc)(2)](n). In polymers 2-4, there are three kinds of components, metal ions, o-FcCOC(6)H(4)COO(-) units, and organic bridging ligands. The bipyridine-based ligands connect metal ions leading to a one-dimensional chain with o-FcCOC(6)H(4)COO(-) units acting as monodentate or chelate ligands in the side chain. Such coordination polymers containing ferrocenyl-substituted carboxylate and bipyridine-based ligands are very rare. The solution-state differential pulse voltammetries of polymers 1-4 were determined. The results indicate that the half-wave potential of the ferrocenyl moieties is influenced by the Pb(II) ions in polymer 1 and strongly influenced by Zn(II), Cd(II), or Pb(II) ions in polymers 2-4. The thermal properties of the four polymers were also investigated.  相似文献

The title compound, diaqua(bissalicylato-??O)(bisnicotinamide-??N)zinc(II)][bis(triaqua (monosalicylato-??O)(mononicotinamide-??N)zinc(II)salicylate, includes three Zn(II) ions, four nicotinamide ligands, six salicylate ligands and eight coordinated aqua ligands in the asymmetric unit in complex structure. The geometry around one of the Zn(II) ions is a slightly distorted octahedron, of which the equatorial plane is formed by two carboxylate oxygens and two aqua oxygens, while the axial positions are occupied by two pyridyl nitrogen atoms. The other Zn(II) ions adopt fivefold coordinations with one carboxylate oxygen atom from salicylate ligand, one N atom from nicotinamide ligand and three oxygen atoms from aqua ligands. In addition, there are two salicylate anions in the unit cell that are not coordinated. They provide charge balance as counter-ions in the complex framework.  相似文献

Enzymes in the oxygen-activating class of mononuclear non-heme iron oxygenases (MNOs) contain a highly conserved iron center facially ligated by two histidine nitrogen atoms and one carboxylate oxygen atom that leave one face of the metal center (three binding sites) open for coordination to cofactor, substrate, and/or dioxygen. A comparative family of [Fe(II/III)(N(2)O(n))(L)(4-n))](±x), n = 1-3, L = solvent or Cl(-), model complexes, based on a ligand series that supports a facially ligated N,N,O core that is then modified to contain either one or two additional carboxylate chelate arms, has been structurally and spectroscopically characterized. EPR studies demonstrate that the high-spin d(5) Fe(III)g = 4.3 signal becomes more symmetrical as the number of carboxylate ligands decreases across the series Fe(N(2)O(3)), Fe(N(2)O(2)), and Fe(N(2)O(1)), reflecting an increase in the E/D strain of these complexes as the number of exchangeable/solvent coordination sites increases, paralleling the enhanced distribution of electronic structures that contribute to the spectral line shape. The observed systematic variations in the Fe(II)-Fe(III) oxidation-reduction potentials illustrate the fundamental influence of differential carboxylate ligation. The trend towards lower reduction potential for the iron center across the [Fe(III)(N(2)O(1))Cl(3)](-), [Fe(III)(N(2)O(2))Cl(2)](-) and [Fe(III)(N(2)O(3))Cl](-) series is consistent with replacement of the chloride anions with the more strongly donating anionic O-donor carboxylate ligands that are expected to stabilize the oxidized ferric state. This electrochemical trend parallels the observed dioxygen sensitivity of the three ferrous complexes (Fe(II)(N(2)O(1)) < Fe(II)(N(2)O(2)) < Fe(II)(N(2)O(3))), which form μ-oxo bridged ferric species upon exposure to air or oxygen atom donor (OAD) molecules. The observed oxygen sensitivity is particularly interesting and discussed in the context of α-ketoglutarate-dependent MNO enzyme mechanisms.  相似文献

The effect of subtle changes in the sigma-electron donor ability of 4-substituted pyridine ligands on the lead(II) coordination environment of (2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb (1) adducts has been examined. The reaction of 1 with a series of 4-substituted pyridines in toluene or dichloromethane results in the formation of 1:1 complexes [(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb(pyCOH)](2) (3), [(2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb(pyOMe)](2) (4), and (2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb(pyNMe(2)) (5) (pyCOH = 4-pyridinecarboxaldehyde; pyOMe = 4-methoxypyridine; pyNMe2 = 4-dimethylaminopyridine), all of which have been structurally characterized by X-ray crystallography. The structures of 3 and 4 are dimeric and have psi-trigonal bipyramidal S(3)N bonding environments, with the 4-substituted pyridine nitrogen and bridging sulfur atoms in axial positions and two thiolate sulfur atoms in equatorial sites. Conversely, compound 5 is monomeric and exhibits a psi-trigonal pyramidal S(2)N bonding environment at lead(II). The observed structures may be rationalized in terms of a simple valence bond model and the sigma-electron donor ability of the 4-pyridine ligands as derived from the analysis of proton affinity values. Solid-state (207)Pb NMR experiments are applied in combination with density functional theory (DFT) calculations to provide further insight into the nature of bonding in 4, 5, and (2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3)S)(2)Pb(py)(2) (2). The lead chemical shielding (CS) tensor parameters of 2, 4, and 5 reveal some of the largest chemical shielding anisotropies (CSA) observed in lead coordination complexes to date. DFT calculations using the Amsterdam Density Functional (ADF) program, which take into account relativistic effects using the zeroth-order regular approximation (ZORA), yield lead CS tensor components and orientations. Paramagnetic contributions to the lead CS tensor from individual pairs of occupied and virtual molecular orbitals (MOs) are examined to gain insight into the origin of the large CSA. The CS tensor is primarily influenced by mixing of the occupied MOs localized on the sulfur and lead atoms with virtual MOs largely comprised of lead 6p orbitals.  相似文献

The title compound, [Cu(phen)2(SO4)(H2O)]·0.5C4H4O4·7H2O (phen = 1,10-phe-nanthroline and C4H4O4 = fumaric acid), has been synthesized and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of triclinic, space group P with a = 11.4827(2), b = 11.9086(2), c = 13.77350(10)(A), α = 80.6830(10), β = 66.6480(10), γ = 64.0480(10)o, V = 1554.63(4) (A)3, Mr = 722.17, Z = 2, Dc = 1.543 g/cm3, μ = 0.845 mm-1, F(000) = 750, R = 0.0349 and wR = 0.0837 for 4754 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). The compound contains a six-coordinated copper(II) center, which is surround by four N atoms of two phen ligands (Cu-N distances in the range of 1.997(2)~2.225(2)(A)), one sulfate O atom (Cu-O = 2.0037(17) (A)) and one water O atom (Cu-O(5w) = 2.719(2) (A)) in a distorted octahedral geometry. Extensive hydrogen-bonding interactions are involved in water molecules, ligated sulfate anions and fumaric acid molecules. In addition, π-π interactions via aromatic nitrogen-containing ligands are also discussed. The combination of non-covalent interactions leads to the formation of a 3-D network structure.  相似文献

A new layered molybdenum cobalt phosphate, Na(2)[Co(H(2)O)(6)][(Mo(16)O(32))Co(16)(PO(4))(4) (HPO(4))(16)(H(2)PO(4))(4)(OH)(4)(C(10)H(8)N(2))(4)(C(5)H(4)N)(2)(H(2)O)(6)]·4H(2)O (1), has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized. 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 15.6825(18) ?, b = 39.503(4) ?, c = 17.2763(17) ?, β = 93.791(2)°, V = 10679.4(18) ?(3), and Z = 2. A polyoxoanion of 1 exhibits an unusual organic-inorganic hybrid wheel-type cluster, in which two pyridine ligands link to the surface Co(II) atoms of a [H(24)(Mo(16)O(32))Co(16)(PO(4))(24)(OH)(4)(H(2)O)(6)] (namely, {Mo(16)Co(16)P(24)}) wheel via the Co-N bonds. Furthermore, each {Mo(16)Co(16)P(24)} wheel is connected to four adjacent wheels by four pairs of 4,4'-bipyridine linkers, forming a 2D layered network. The susceptibility measurement shows the existence of dominant antiferromagnetic interactions in 1.  相似文献

A new Cu(II) complex, [Cu(3)(dcp)(2)(H(2)O)(4)](n), with the ligand 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid monohydrate (H(3)dcp) has been prepared by hydrothermal synthesis, and it crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with a = 11.633(2) A, b = 9.6005(14) A, c = 6.9230(17) A, beta = 106.01(2) degrees, and Z = 2. In the solid state structure of [Cu(3)(dcp)(2)(H(2)O)(4)](n), trinuclear [Cu(3)(dcp)(2)(H(2)O)(4)] repeating units in which two dcp(3-) ligands chelate the three Cu(II) ions with the central Cu(II) ion, Cu(1) (on an inversion center), link to form infinite 2D sheets via syn-anti equatorial-equatorial carboxylate bridges between Cu(2) atoms in adjacent trimers. These layers are further linked by syn-anti axial-equatorial carboxylate bridging between Cu(1) atoms in adjacent sheets resulting in the formation of a crystallographic 3D network. A detailed analysis of the magnetic properties of [Cu(3)(dcp)(2)(H(2)O)(4)](n) reveals that the dcp(3-) ligand acts to link Cu(II) centers in three different ways with coupling constants orders of magnitude apart in value. In the high temperature region above 50 K, the dominant interaction is strongly antiferromagnetic (J/k(B) = -32 K) within the trimer units mediated by the pyrazolate bridges. Below 20 K, the trimer motif can be modeled as an S = 1/2 unit. These units are coupled to their neighbors by a ferromagnetic interaction mediated by the syn-anti equatorial-equatorial carboxylate bridge. This interaction has been estimated at J(2D)/k(B) = +2.8 K on the basis of a 2D square lattice Heisenberg model. Finally, below 3.2 K a weak antiferromagnetic coupling (J(3D)/k(B) = -0.1 K) which is mediated by the syn-anti axial-equatorial carboxylate bridges between the 2D layers becomes relevant to describe the magnetic (T, H) phase diagram of this material.  相似文献

The title compounds, [Mo(C2H4NO2)2(NO)2], (I), and [Mo(C2H6NS)2(NO)2]·CH3CN, (II), contain distorted octahedral complexes in which the monoanionic N,S‐ and N,O‐bidentate ligands coordinate the molybdenum centres in different modes. The anionic O atoms of the glycinate ligands in (I) are coordinated trans to the nitrosyl ligands and the amine N atoms are located trans to each other, whereas in (II) the anionic S atoms are coordinated trans to each other and the amine N atoms are located trans to the nitrosyl ligands. Each compound has a single complete complex in the asymmetric unit on a general position. Six N—H...O contacts with N...O distances of less than 3.2 Å are observed in (I) between the amine groups and the nitrosyl and carboxylate O atoms. In the 1:1 solvate (II), the acetonitrile molecule forms short N—H...N contacts (N...N < 3.2 Å) between the solvent N atoms and one of the amine H atoms. In addition, three weak intermolecular N—H...S interactions (N...S > 3.3 Å) contribute to the stabilization of the structure of (II).  相似文献
