In this paper, some theorems of uniform stability and uniform asymptotic stability for impulsive functional differential equations with infinite delay are proved by using Lyapunov functionals and Razumikhin techniques. In the phase space (Ch, |·|h), by using the Liapunov functional approach, sufficient and necessary criteria for the uniform stability and uniformly asymptotic stability of solutions to neutral-functional differential equations with infinite delay are established. It is well known,that in the theory of stability in differential equations,Liapunov's second method may be the most important The center problem of Liapunov's second method is construction of Liapunov function for concrete problems.Beyond any doubt,construction of Liapunov functions is an art.In the case of functional differential equations,there were also many attempts to establish various kinds of Liapunov type theorems.Recently Burton[2]presented an excellent theorem using the Liapunov functional to solve the asymptotic stability of functional differential equation with bounded delay. However,the construction of such a Liapunov functional is still very hard for concrete problems. In this paper, by utilizing this theorem due to Burton,we construct concrete Liapunov functional for certain and nonlinear delay differential equations and derive new sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability.Those criteria improve the result of literature[1]and they are with simple forms,easily checked and applicable.  相似文献

This paper studies the incompressible limit and stability of global strong solutions to the threedimensional full compressible Navier-Stokes equations, where the initial data satisfy the "well-prepared" conditions and the velocity field and temperature enjoy the slip boundary condition and convective boundary condition, respectively. The uniform estimates with respect to both the Mach number ∈(0, ∈] and time t ∈ [0, ∞) are established by deriving a differential inequality with decay property, where ∈∈(0, 1] is a constant.As the Mach number vanishes, the global solution to full compressible Navier-Stokes equations converges to the one of isentropic incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in t ∈ [0, +∞). Moreover, we prove the exponentially asymptotic stability for the global solutions of both the compressible system and its limiting incompressible system.  相似文献

This paper discusses the stability of solutions of nonautonomous functional differential equations with infinite delay with respect to a parr of admissible phase spaces of Hale and Kato. A one-parameter family of Liapunov-Krasovskiį functional, together with some additional analysis, is used to prove new sufficient conditions of asymptotic and uniform asymptotic stability for such equations.
