To explore the anion receptor potential of [Co(phen)2(CO)3]+ for the pentafluorobenzoate ion, [Co(phen)2(CO)3](Pfbz)·6H2O (where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline and Pfbz = pentafluorobenzoate) was synthesized by reacting appropriate salts in aqueous medium. A detailed packing analysis has been undertaken to delineate the role of second sphere C-H?F interactions amid other heteroatom interactions. The complex salt has been characterized by elemental analyses, spectroscopic studies (IR, UV/Vis, multinuclear NMR) and solubility product measurement. The complex salt crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system with space group P21/n having the cell dimensions a = 13.377(3) Å, b = 17.204(3) Å, c = 15.408(3) Å, β = 108.11(3)°, V = 3370.1(12) Å3 and Z = 4. Single crystal X-ray structure determination revealed ionic structure consisting of complex cation, [Co(phen)2(CO)3]+, Pfbz anion and six lattice water molecules. In the crystal lattice, discrete ions [Co(phen)2CO3]+ are forming rectangular voids in which the Pfbz anions are entrapped. Crystal lattice is stabilized by electrostatic forces of attraction and hydrogen bonding interactions, i.e. O-H?O, C-H?O, and C-H?F, involving second sphere coordination besides π?π interactions.  相似文献

A coordination iron phosphate, Fe(phen)(HPO4)(H2PO4)·0.5H2O (I), has been hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectral analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group C2/m (No. 12), with cell parameters M=438.03, a=21.421(5) Å, b=6.4292(1) Å, c=12.190(3) Å, β=105.964(9)°, V=1614.1(6) Å3, Z=4, R1[I>2σ(I)]=0.0545, wR2[I>2σ(I)]=0.1186. This compound displays a new structure of ladder-like chains, in which each one-dimensional chain is constituted by the distorted octahedral units of Fe3+ bridged through PO4 tetrahedron. The phen ligands in the compound bind in a bidentate fashion to the metal atoms and the ladder-like structure of the compound extends into a three-dimensional supramolecular array via π-π stacking interactions of phen ligands. Mössbauer spectroscopy shows the presence of Fe3+ in the octahedral coordination. Magnetic susceptibility measurement studies show that this material may model as anti-ferromagnetic.  相似文献

A novel layered vanadium arsenate [V4O7(HAsO4)2(o-phen)2] 1 (o-phen=o-phenanthroline) was synthesized by the hydrothermal reaction of V2O5, ZnCl2, Na2HAsO4·7H2O, o-phenanthroline (o-phen) and water. Its structure was determined by elemental analyses, ESR spectrum, XPS spectrum, TG analysis, IR spectrum and the single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Compound 1 crystallizes in monoclinic system, space group P2/c, a=10.122(2) Å, b=9.867(2) Å, c=15.367(3) Å, β=102.83(3)°, V=1496.4(5) Å3, Z=1, λ(MoKα)=0.71073 Å, (R(F)=0.0397 for 3422 reflections). Data were collected on a Rigaku R-AXIS RAPID IP diffractometer at 293 K in the range of 2.06°<θ<27.48°. The title compound contains an unusual two-dimensional (2D) As-V-O layer with four-, six- and eight-membered rings. The chelating o-phen ligands project perpendicularly above and below the undulating layer. 1 represents the first example of 2D inorganic vanadium arsenate backbone grafted with the directly coordinated organic ligands. Furthermore, the 3D supermolecular architecture is formed by π-π stacking interactions of the o-phen groups between adjacent layers.  相似文献

A hydrothermal reaction of WO3, CoCl2 and 4,4′-bipyridine, yields a novel organic-inorganic hybrid compound, Co2(bpy)6(W6O19)2, at 170°C. X-ray single crystal structure determination reveals a two-dimensional covalent structure belonging to monoclinic crystal system, space group C2/c, with cell parameters a=19.971(4) Å, b=11.523(2) Å, c=16.138(3) Å, β=96.49(3)°, V=3690.0 Å3 and Z=2. The hexatungstate, [W6O19]2−, acts as a building block in bidentate fashion to bridge the Co(II) centers in the crystal structure. The title compound is found to have an optical energy gap of 2.2 eV from UV-Vis-NIR reflectance spectra.  相似文献

The title compounds were prepared by arc-melting pre-annealed mixtures of Ti, Mo, and As. Both Ti2MoAs2 and Ti3MoAs3 adopt structures formed by the corresponding binary vanadium arsenides, V3As2 and β-V4As3. Ti2MoAs2 crystallizes in the tetragonal space group P4/m, with a=9.706(4) Å, c=3.451(2) Å, V=325.1(3) Å3 (Z=4), and Ti3MoAs3 in the monoclinic space group C2/m, with a=14.107(3) Å, b=3.5148(7) Å, c=9.522(2) Å, β=100.66(3)°, V=464.0(2) Å3 (Z=4). In both cases, the metal atoms form infinite chains of trans edge-condensed octahedra, and the As atoms are located in (capped) trigonal prismatic voids. While most metal atom sites exhibit mixed Ti/Mo occupancies, the Mo atoms prefer the sites with more metal atom and fewer As atom neighbors. Ti2MoAs2 and Ti3MoAs3 are metallic entropy-stabilized materials that decompose upon annealing at intermediate temperatures.  相似文献

A new hydrated borate compound, [NH3CH2CHCH3NH3]][B8O11(OH)4]·H2O 1, has been synthesized in the presence of 1,2-diaminopropane acting as a structure-directing agent under mild conditions. Its structure was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction and further characterized FTIR, elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c (No. 14), a=10.0787(7) Å, b=8.8482(6) Å, c=19.3097(4) Å, β=91.352(6)°, V=1721.53(2) Å3, and Z=4. The structure consists of infinite open-branched borate chains constructed from [B3O6(OH)] units, onto which the [B5O7(OH)3] groups are grafted. It represents the first example of one-dimensional borate templated by an organic amine. The adjacent borate chains are further linked together by extensive hydrogen bonds to form a 3D supramolecular network. The diprotonated organic amines and guest water molecules are filled in the free space of the hydrogen-bonded network and interact with the inorganic framework by extensive hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

A new compound, sodium tin trifluoride (NaSnF3, which we denote BING-12 for SUNY at Binghamton, Structure No. 12), was synthesized solvothermally from a pyridine-water solvent system. The new compound crystallized in the monoclinic space group C2/c (No. 15), with a=11.7429(12) Å, b=17.0104(18) Å, c=6.8528(7) Å, β=100.6969(2)°, V=1345.1(2) Å3 and Z=16. The layered structure consists of outer pyramidal SnF3 units, where the fluorides surround a central layer of six- and seven-coordinate sodium atoms. The layers are stabilized by charged Na+ galleries that reside in the center of the layers. Tin trifluorophosphate (Sn3F3PO4, Compound 2) was isolated from a related synthetic system, and crystallized in the rhombohedral space group R3 (No. 146), with a=11.8647(11) Å, c=4.6291(6) Å, V=564.34(10) Å3 and Z=3. The framework is made up of helical -Sn-F- chains, which are connected by phosphate groups. The materials were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), variable temperature PXRD (VT-PXRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).  相似文献

The quaternary compound Rb2BaNb2Se11 has been synthesized by reacting Nb metal with an in situ formed flux of Rb2Se3, BaSe and Se at 773 K. Rb2BaNb2Se11 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with four formula units and lattice parameters a=7.8438(5) Å, b=13.6959(6) Å, c=17.0677(13) Å, β=97.917(9)°. The structure consists of one-dimensional anionic chains formed by interconnection of dimeric [Nb2Se11] units. The chains are directed along the crystallographic c-axis with Rb+ and Ba2+ ions being located between the chains. The [Nb2Se11] units are formed by face sharing of two NbSe7 bipyramids and are joined by Se22− dianions to form infinite 1[Nb2Se114−] chains. The compound was characterized with infrared spectroscopy in the FIR region, Raman and UV/Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy.  相似文献

Two new ternary chromium sulfides, Ba3CrS5, and Ba3Cr2S6 were synthesized by the reaction of sulfur, barium sulfide, and chromium metal under a high pressure of 5 GPa at 1200°C. Ba3CrS5 crystallized in the hexagonal space group P63cm (No. 185) with a=9.1208(3) Å, c=6.1930(3) Å, V=446.17(3) Å3, and Z=6. It had a column structure with one-dimensional chains of [CrS3] composed of face-sharing CrS6 octahedra surrounded with Ba2+ ions. Additional S columns surrounded with Ba ions were running along with the CrS6 columns. Ba3Cr2S6 crystallized in the trigonal space group R-3c (No. 167) with a=11.8179(7) Å, c=12.796(1) Å, V=1547.7(2) Å3, and Z=6. The structure of Ba3Cr2S6 also contains [CrS3] chains but the chains are composed of octahedral and trigonal prismatic CrS6 units, which are alternately stacked in a face-sharing manner. The formal charges of Cr ions in Ba3CrS5 and Ba3Cr2S6 are 4+ and 3+, respectively.  相似文献

A coordination polymer with mixed ligands [Zn2(phen)2(e,a-cis-1,4-chdc)2(H2O)2]n (chdc=cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid; phen=1,10-phenanthroline) was prepared under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, TG analysis, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. X-ray crystal structural analyses reveal that 1 and 2 are isomorphic and belong to the monoclinic system. C40H36Zn2N4O10, P21/c, a=10.084(2) Å, b=8.9072(18) Å, c=20.276(4) Å, β=99.92(3)°, V=1793.9(6) Å3, Z=1. In the structures of 1, the 1,4-chdc ligand possesses only one kind of e,a-cis-conformation although there are both cis- and trans-conformations in the raw material. Two oxygen atoms of one carboxyl in 1,4-chdc ligand and another oxygen atom of contraposition carboxyl link adjacent Zn atoms into an infinite 1D zigzag chain. The most attractive structural feature of 1 is that it exhibits an infinite chiral chain-like structure with 21 helices along the b-axis. In addition, the right- and left-handed chains are alternate. Meanwhile, the adjacent chains of 1 is linked via hydrogen bonds into 2D network structures, which further form 3D frameworks via π-π interactions of 1,10-phen.  相似文献

Two new ternary ytterbium transition metal stannides, namely, Yb3CoSn6 and Yb4Mn2Sn5, have been obtained by solid-state reactions of the corresponding pure elements in welded tantalum tubes at high temperature. Their crystal structures have been established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. Yb3CoSn6 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Cmcm (no. 63) with cell parameters of a=4.662(2), b=15.964(6), c=13.140(5) Å, V=978.0(6) Å3, and Z=4. Its structure features a three-dimensional (3D) open-framework composed of unusual [CoSn3] layers interconnected by zigzag Sn chains, forming large tunnels along the c-axis which are occupied by the ytterbium cations. Yb4Mn2Sn5 is monoclinic space group C2/m (no. 12) with cell parameters of a=16.937(2), b=4.5949(3), c=7.6489(7) Å, β=106.176(4)°, V=571.70(8) Å3, and Z=2. It belongs to the Mg5Si6 structure type and its anionic substructure is composed of parallel [Mn2Sn2] ladders interconnected by unusual zigzag [Sn3] chains, forming large tunnels along the c-axis, which are filled by the ytterbium cations. Band structure calculations based on density function theory methods were also made for both compounds.  相似文献

Three new compounds Ca(HF2)2, Ba4F4(HF2)(PF6)3 and Pb2F2(HF2)(PF6) were obtained in the system metal(II) fluoride and anhydrous HF (aHF) acidified with excessive PF5. The obtained polymeric solids are slightly soluble in aHF and they crystallize out of their aHF solutions. Ca(HF2)2 was prepared by simply dissolving CaF2 in a neutral aHF. It represents the second known compound with homoleptic HF environment of the central atom besides Ba(H3F4)2. The compounds Ba4F4(HF2)(PF6)3 and Pb2F2(HF2)(PF6) represent two additional examples of the formation of a polymeric zigzag ladder or ribbon composed of metal cation and fluoride anion (MF+)n besides PbF(AsF6), the first isolated compound with such zigzag ladder. The obtained new compounds were characterized by X-ray single crystal diffraction method and partly by Raman spectroscopy. Ba4F4(HF2)(PF6)3 crystallizes in a triclinic space group P1¯ with a=4.5870(2) Å, b=8.8327(3) Å, c=11.2489(3) Å, α=67.758(9)°, β=84.722(12), γ=78.283(12)°, V=413.00(3) Å3 at 200 K, Z=1 and R=0.0588. Pb2F2(HF2)(PF6) at 200 K: space group P1¯, a=4.5722(19) Å, b=4.763(2) Å, c=8.818(4) Å, α=86.967(10)°, β=76.774(10)°, γ=83.230(12)°, V=185.55(14) Å3, Z=1 and R=0.0937. Pb2F2(HF2)(PF6) at 293 K: space group P1¯, a=4.586(2) Å, b=4.781(3) Å, c=8.831(5) Å, α=87.106(13)°, β=76.830(13)°, γ=83.531(11)°, V=187.27(18) Å3, Z=1 and R=0.072. Ca(HF2)2 crystallizes in an orthorhombic Fddd space group with a=5.5709(6) Å, b=10.1111(9) Å, c=10.5945(10) Å, V=596.77(10) Å3 at 200 K, Z=8 and R=0.028.  相似文献

A new three-dimensional (3D) zincophosphite |Co(en)3| [Zn4(HPO3)5(H2PO3)] (1) has been solvothermally synthesized by using a racemic mixture of a chiral cobaltammine complex Co(en)3Cl3 as the structure-directing agent. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c (no. 14) with a=18.6180 (4) Å, b=8.7601(18) Å, c=17.4840(4) Å, β=93.42(3)°, V=2846.4(10) Å3, Z=4 with R1=0.0530. Its structure is built up from strict alternation of ZnO4 tetrahedra and HPO3 pseudo-tetrahedra, giving rise to a 3D inorganic framework with 4-, 6-, 8-, 10- and 12 MRs, and the metal complex molecules, both the Δ and Λ enantiomers, sit in 10-MRs channels. In addition, it is worth noting that left- and right-handed helical chains exist in the framework, which is induced by chiral metal complex Co(en)3Cl3 template molecules. Further characterization of compound 1 has been performed, including X-ray powder diffraction, ICP, CHN, IR and TG analyses.  相似文献

Ag2Nb[P2S6][S2] (1) was obtained from the direct solid state reaction of Ag, Nb, P2S5 and S at 500 °C. KAg2[PS4] (2) was prepared from the reaction of K2S3, Ag, Nd, P2S5 and extra S powder at 700 °C. Compound 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with a=12.2188(11), b=26.3725(16), c=6.7517(4) Å, V=2175.7(3) Å3, Z=8. Compound 2 crystallizes in the non-centrosymmetric tetragonal space group with lattice parameters a=6.6471(7), c=8.1693(11) Å, V=360.95(7) Å3, Z=2. The structure of Ag2Nb[P2S6][S2] (1) consists of [Nb2S12], [P2S6] and new found puckered [Ag2S4] chains which are along [001] direction. The Nb atoms are located at the center of distorted bicapped trigonal prisms. Two prisms share square face of two [S22−] to form one [Nb2S12] unit, in which Nb-Nb bond is formed. The [Nb2S12] units share all S2− corners with ethane-like [P2S6] units to form 14-membered rings. The novel puckered [Ag2S4] chains are composed of distorted [AgS4] tetrahedra and [AgS3] triangles that share corners with each other. These chains are connected with [P2S6] units and [Nb2S12] units to form three-dimensional frame work. The structural skeleton of 2 is built up from [AgS4] and [PS4] tetrahedra linked by corner-sharing. The three-dimensional anionic framework contains orthogonal, intersecting tunnels directed along [100] and [010]. This compound possesses a compressed chalcopyrite-like structure. The structure is compressed along [001] and results from eight coordination sphere for K+. Both compounds are characterized with UV/vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and compound 1 with IR and Raman spectra.  相似文献

In the system BaF2/BF3/PF5/anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (aHF) a compound Ba(BF4)(PF6) was isolated and characterized by Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction on the single crystal. Ba(BF4)(PF6) crystallizes in a hexagonal space group with a=10.2251(4) Å, c=6.1535(4) Å, V=557.17(5) Å3 at 200 K, and Z=3. Both crystallographically independent Ba atoms possess coordination polyhedra in the shape of tri-capped trigonal prisms, which include F atoms from BF4 and PF6 anions. In the analogous system with AsF5 instead of PF5 the compound Ba(BF4)(AsF6) was isolated and characterized. It crystallizes in an orthorhombic Pnma space group with a=10.415(2) Å, b=6.325(3) Å, c=11.8297(17) Å, V=779.3(4) Å3 at 200 K, and Z=4. The coordination around Ba atom is in the shape of slightly distorted tri-capped trigonal prism which includes five F atoms from AsF6 and four F atoms from BF4 anions. When the system BaF2/BF3/AsF5/aHF is made basic with an extra addition of BaF2, the compound Ba2(BF4)2(AsF6)(H3F4) was obtained. It crystallizes in a hexagonal P63/mmc space group with a=6.8709(9) Å, c=17.327(8) Å, V=708.4(4) Å3 at 200 K, and Z=2. The barium environment in the shape of tetra-capped distorted trigonal prism involves 10 F atoms from four BF4, three AsF6 and three H3F4 anions. All F atoms, except the central atom in H3F4 moiety, act as μ2-bridges yielding a complex 3-D structural network.  相似文献
