Zero-density estimates for automorphic <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis>-functions

In this paper we prove zero-density estimates of the large sieve type for the automorphic L-function L（s, f × χ）, where f is a holomorphic cusp form and χ（mod q） is a primitive character.     

On s-quasinormal and c-normal subgroups of a finite group

Let F be a saturated formation containing the class of supersolvable groups and let G be a finite group. The following theorems are shown： （1） G ∈ F if and only if there is a normal subgroup H such that G/H ∈ F and every maximal subgroup of all Sylow subgroups of H is either c-normal or s-quasinormally embedded in G; （2） G ∈F if and only if there is a soluble normal subgroup H such that G/H∈F and every maximal subgroup of all Sylow subgroups of F（H）, the Fitting subgroup of H, is either e-normally or s-quasinormally embedded in G.     

Minimal Non—Commutative n—Insertive Rings

Let n be an integer with |n| > 1. If p is the smallest prime factor of |n|, we prove that a minimal non-commutative n-insertive ring contains n ⁴ elements and these rings have five (2p+4) isomorphic classes for p = 2 (p ≠ 2). Interval Valued Intuitionistic （S, T）-fuzzy Hv-submodules

On the basis of the concept of the interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy sets introduced by K. Atanassov, the notion of interval valued intuitionistic fuzzy Hv-submodules of an Hv-module with respect to a t-norm T and an s-norm S is given and the characteristic properties are described. The homomorphic image and the inverse image are investigated. In particular, the connections between interval valued intuitionistic （S, T）-fuzzy Hv-submodules and interval valued intuitionistic （S, T）-fuzzy submodules are discussed.     

Jensen’s Inequality for Backward Stochastic Differential Equations

Abstract Under the Lipschitz assumption and square integrable assumption on g, the author proves that Jensen’s inequality holds for backward stochastic differential equations with generator g if and only if g is independent of y, g(t, 0) ≡ 0 and g is super homogeneous with respect to z. Groupoid structure of Toeplitz algebra over L-shaped domain

The structure of the groupoidG associated with the ToeplitzC ^*-algebraC ^*(Ω) of the L-shaped domain is discussed. The detailed characterization ofM _∞ by the classification of the closed subgroup of the Euclidean space is presented. Mann iteration of weak convergence theorems in Banach space

In this paper, by using Mann＇s iteration process we will establish several weak convergence theorems for approximating a fixed point of k-strictly pseudocontractive mappings with respect to p in p-uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results answer partially the open question proposed by Marino and Xu, and extend Reich＇s theorem from nonexpansive mappings to k-strict pseudocontractive mappings.     

A Property of <Emphasis Type="Italic">g</Emphasis>-Expectation

This paper proves that, under the hypothesis g(t, 0, 0) ≡ 0 and some natural assumptions, the generator g of a backward stochastic differential equation can be uniquely determined by the corresponding g-expectations with all terminal conditions. The main result of this paper also confirms and extends Peng Shige‘s conjecture.     

Small sample properties of the power function ofF tests in two-way error component regression

In this paper we investigate properties of the power function of the generalized least squaresF test for linear hypotheses under regression models with two-way error component model. The covariance structure of the model depends on the correlation coefficients ρ1 and ρ2 corresponding to the random effects. This model has been frequently applied to the analysis of panel data. In general, we show that the power is a monotonically increasing function of ρ1(ρ2) in a region which is close to the ρ1(ρ2) axis, and a monotonically decreasing function of ρ1(ρ2) in a region close to the ρ2(ρ1) axis. δ- and θ-modifications of generalized topologies

It is shown that the theory of δ-and θ-modifications of topological spaces (see [3]) can be generalized for the case when the topology is replaced by a generalized topology in the sense of [1]. Research supported by Hungarian Foundation for Scientific Research, grant No. T 49786.     

Kolmogorov＇s ε-Entropy of Bounded Sets in Discrete Spaces and Attractors of Dissipative Lattice Systems

We obtain an estimate of the upper bound for Kolmogorov＇s ε-entropy for the bounded sets with small ＂tail＂ in discrete spaces, then we present a sufficient condition for the existence of a global attractor for dissipative lattice systems in a reflexive Banach discrete space and establish an upper bound of Kolmogorov＇s ε-entropy of the global attractor for lattice systems.     

A New View on Fuzzy Hypermodules

We describe the relationship between the fuzzy sets and the algebraic hyperstructures. In fact, this paper is a continuation of the ideas presented by Davvaz in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 117： 477- 484, 2001） and Bhakat and Das in （Fuzzy Sets Syst., 80： 359-368, 1996）. The concept of the quasicoincidence of a fuzzy interval value with an interval-valued fuzzy set is introduced and this is a natural generalization of the quasi-coincidence of a fuzzy point in fuzzy sets. By using this new idea, the concept of interval-valued （α,β）-fuzzy sub-hypermodules of a hypermodule is defined. The decomposition of Kv into K2×K5''''s

The decomposition of the complete graph Kv into Kr×Kc's, the products of Kr and Kc,is originated from the use of DNA library screening. In this paper, we consider the case where r=2 and c = 5, and show that such a decomposition exists if and only if v ≡ 1 (mod 25).     

Solutions and Multiple Solutions for p（x）-Laplacian Equations with Nonlinear Boundary Condition

The authors study the p（x）-Laplacian equations with nonlinear boundary condition. By using the variational method, under appropriate assumptions on the perturbation terms f1 （x, u）, f2（x, u） and h1（x）, h2（x）, such that the associated functional satisfies the ＂mountain pass lemma＂ and ＂fountain theorem＂ respectively, the existence and multiplicity of solutions are obtained. The discussion is based on the theory of variable exponent Lebesgue and Sobolev spaces.     

λ-central BMO estimates for commutators of singular integral operators with rough kernels

The authors establish λ-central BMO estimates for commutators of singular integral operators with rough kernels on central Morrey spaces. Moreover, the boundedness of a class of multisublinear operators on the product of central Morrey spaces is discussed. As its special cases, the corresponding results of multilinear Calderon-Zygmund operators and multilinear fractional integral operators can be deduced, resDectivelv.     

Expansion of frames to tight frames

We show that every Bessel sequence （and therefore every frame） in a separable Hilbert space can be expanded to a tight frame by adding some elements. The proof is based on a recent generalization of the frame concept, the g-frame, which illustrates that g-frames could be useful in the study of frame theory. As an application, we prove that any Gabor frame can be expanded to a tight frame by adding one window function.     

Weighted Composition Operators of H∞ into α-Bloch Spaces on the Unit Ball

In this paper we characterize the boundedness and compactness of weighted composition operators of H∞ into α-Bloch spaces on the unit ball in C^n.     

On the Cauchy Problem of Evolution P-Laplacian Equations with Strongly Non-linear Sources When 1 < p < 2

We study the solvability of the Cauchy problem (1.1)–(1.2) for the largest possible class of initial values, for which (1.1)–(1.2) has a local solution. On Best Approximations from RS-sets in Complex Banach Spaces

The concept of an RS-set in a complex Banach space is introduced and the problem of best approximation from an RS-set in a complex space is investigated. Results consisting of characterizations, uniqueness and strong uniqueness are established,
