Summary: Poly(arylene ether amine)s were synthesized by a nucleophilic aromatic substitution polycondensation of bis[4‐fluoro‐3‐(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]amine with several bisphenols. Even though the monomer has an electron‐donating diphenylamine moiety, which normally deactivates a nucleophilic aromatic substitution (SNAr) reaction, the polymerization proceeded by a SNAr reaction to give high‐molecular‐weight polymers. The polymers show good solubility in common organic solvents and have Tgs in the range of 123 °C to 177 °C.

High‐molecular‐weight poly(arylene ether amine)s synthesized by a SNAr reaction with the monomer containing an electron‐donating diphenylamine moiety.  相似文献

An influence of a structure of the amine (benzylamine, N‐methyl‐benzylamine, N‐isopropyl‐benzylamine, N‐methyl‐butylamine, N‐ethyl‐butylamine, sec‐butylamine, and tert‐butylamine) on a rate constant of the ring‐opening reaction of 4‐benzylidene‐2‐methyl‐5‐oxazolone (Ox) was studied. The good correlation between logarithm of the rate constants and Charton's steric substituent constant ν as well as good correlation with a form of the simple branching equation indicate that there is a steric effect because of substitution at C1 carbon atom of nucleophile which decreases the reaction rate. Additionally, an influence of a structure of the benzylidene moiety of Ox on a rate of the oxazolone ring‐opening reaction was studied. The substituents (? OH, ? OCH3, ? N(CH3)2, ? Cl, ? NO2) in para‐position of the phenyl ring of Ox substantially modified the rate of the reaction with benzylamine in acetonitrile. The rate of the Ox ring‐opening reaction decreased with increase of the electron‐donating properties of the substituent. A good correlation between the rate constants of the reaction of 4‐(4′‐substituted‐benzylidene)‐2‐methyl‐5‐oxazolones with benzylamine and the electron density at the reaction center (carbon C5 of the oxazolone ring), calculated using ab initio method, and the Hammett substituent constants, and CR equation were established. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A new monomer diacid, 1,2-dihydro-2-(4-carboxylphenyl)-4-[4-(4-carboxylphenoxy)-3-methylphenyl]phtha-lazin-1-one (3), was synthesized through the aromatic nucleophilic substitution reaction of a readily available unsymmetrical phthalazinone 1 bisphenol-like with p-chlorobenzonitrile in the presence of potassium carbonate in N,N-dimethylacetamide and alkaline hydrolysis. The diacid could be directly polymerized with various aromatic diamines 4a-4e using triphenyl phosphite and pyridine as condensing agents to give five new aromatic poly(ether amide)s 5a-5e containing the kink non-coplanar heterocyclic units with inherent viscosities of 1.30-1.54 dL/g.The polymers were readily soluble in a variety of solvents such as N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), N,N-dimethyl-acetamide (DMA), dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP), and even in m-cresol and pyridine (Py). The transparent, flexible and tough films could be formed by solution casting. The glass transition tem-peratures Tg were in the range of 286-317℃.  相似文献

A novel nano‐fibrillated mesoporous carbon (IFMC) was successfully prepared via carbonization of the ionic liquid 1‐methyl‐3‐phenethyl‐1H‐imidazolium hydrogen sulfate ( 1 ) in the presence of SBA‐15. The material was shown to be an efficient and unique support for the palladium nanoparticle (PdNP) catalyst Pd@IFMC ( 2 ) in aerobic oxidation of heterocyclic, benzylic, and heteroatom containing alcohols on pure water at temperatures as low as 40 °C for the first time and giving almost consistent activities and selectivities within more than six reaction runs. The catalyst has also been employed as an effective catalyst for the selective oxidation of aliphatic and allylic alcohols at 70–80 °C. The materials were characterized by X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), N2 adsorption–desorption analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and electron tomography (ET). Our compelling XPS and ET studies showed that higher activity of 2 compared to Pd@CMK‐3 and Pd/C in the aerobic oxidation of alcohols on water might be due to the presence of nitrogen functionalities inside the carbon structure and also the fibrous nature of our materials. The presence of a nitrogen heteroatom in the carboneous framework might also be responsible for the relatively uniform and nearly atomic‐scale distribution of PdNPs throughout the mesoporous structure and the inhibition of Pd agglomeration during the reaction, resulting in high durability, high stability, and recycling characteristics of 2 . This effect was clearly confirmed by comparing the TEM images of the recovered 2 and Pd@CMK‐3.  相似文献

It has been shown previously that the reaction of diazomethane with 5‐benzylidene‐3‐phenylrhodanine ( 1 ) in THF at ?20° occurs at the exocyclic C?C bond via cyclopropanation to give 3a and methylation to yield 4 , respectively, whereas the corresponding reaction with phenyldiazomethane in toluene at 0° leads to the cyclopropane derivative 3b exclusively. Surprisingly, under similar conditions, no reaction was observed between 1 and diphenyldiazomethane, but the 2‐diphenylmethylidene derivative 5 was formed in boiling toluene. In the present study, these results have been rationalized by calculations at the DFT B3LYP/6‐31G(d) level using PCM solvent model. In the case of diazomethane, the formation of 3a occurs via initial Michael addition, whereas 4 is formed via [3+2] cycloaddition followed by N2 elimination and H‐migration. The preferred pathway of the reaction of 1 with phenyldiazomethane is a [3+2] cycloaddition, subsequent N2 elimination and ring closure of an intermediate zwitterion to give 3b . Finally, the calculations show that the energetically most favorable reaction of 1 with diphenyldiazomethane is the initial formation of diphenylcarbene, which adds to the S‐atom to give a thiocarbonyl ylide, followed by 1,3‐dipolar electrocyclization and S‐elimination.  相似文献

1‐(ω‐Azidoalkyl)pyrrolyl‐terminated polyisobutylene (PIB) was successfully synthesized both by substitution of the terminal halide of 1‐(ω‐haloalkyl)pyrrolyl‐terminated PIB with sodium azide and by in situ quenching of quasiliving PIB with a 1‐(ω‐azidoalkyl)pyrrole. Azide substitution of the terminal halide was carried out in 50/50 heptane/DMF at 90 °C for 24 h using excess azide. The 1‐(ω‐haloalkyl)pyrrolyl‐PIB precursors included 1‐(2‐chloroethyl)pyrrolyl‐PIB, 1‐(2‐bromoethyl)pyrrolyl‐PIB, and 1‐(3‐bromopropyl)pyrrolyl‐PIB. In situ quenching involved direct addition of 1‐(2‐azidoethyl)pyrrole to quasiliving PIB initiated from 5‐tert‐butyl‐1,3‐di(1‐chloro‐1‐methylethyl)benzene (bDCC)/TiCl4 at ?70 °C in hexane/CH3Cl (60/40, v/v). 1H NMR analysis of the quenched product revealed mixed isomeric end groups in which PIB was attached at either C2 or C3 of the pyrrole ring (C2/C3 = 0.40/0.60). SEC indicated the absence of coupled PIB under optimized conditions, confirming exclusive mono‐substitution on each pyrrole ring. 1‐(3‐Azidopropyl)pyrrolyl‐PIB was reacted in modular fashion with various functional alkynes, propargyl alcohol, propargyl acrylate, glycidyl propargyl ether, and 3‐dimethylamino‐1‐propyne, via a Huisgen 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition (Click) reaction, using Cu(I)Br/N,N,N′,N″,N″‐pentamethyldiethylenetriamine or bromtris(triphenylphosphine)Cu(I) as catalyst. The reactions were quantitative and produced PIBs bearing terminal hydroxyl, acrylate, glycidyl, or dimethylaminomethyl groups attached via exclusively four‐substituted triazole linkages. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Methylene‐linked bis(N,N′‐di‐tert‐butylimidazol‐2‐ylidene) 1 reacted with diethylzinc to give dinuclear zinc ethyl compound 2 , which contains a formally anionic bis(carbene) ligand as a result of deprotonation of the methylene bridge. The reaction of 2 with PhSiH3 gave the phenylsilyl compound 3 . The zinc hydride 4 was obtained by the reaction of 2 with LiAlH4 or Ph3SiOH followed by treatment with PhSiH3. X‐ray diffraction studies show that compounds 2 , 3 , and 4 all have a similar dimeric structure with D2h symmetry. The reaction of hydride 4 with carbon dioxide and N,N′‐diisopropylcarbodiimide gave formato ( 5 ) and formamidinato ( 7 ) derivatives as a result of the insertion of the heterocumulene into both Zn? H bonds. Reaction with Ph2CO gave the diphenylmethoxy compound 6 . Hydride 4 shows catalytic activity in the hydrosilylation of 1,1‐diphenylethylene and methanolysis of silanes.  相似文献

It is known that Rh‐catalyzed reaction of propargylic alcohols with aryl metallic reagents undergoes SN2’‐type reaction affording allenes via a sequential arylmetalation and β‐OH elimination process. Here we report a Rh/Ag‐cocatalyzed reaction of propargylic alcohols with organoboronic acids affording stereo‐defined (E)‐3‐arylallylic alcohols via arylmetalation and protodemetalation with a high regio‐ and stereoselectivity under very mild conditions. The reaction exhibits a good substrate scope and the compatibility with synthetically useful functional groups with no racemization for optically active propargylic alcohols. Such a reaction may also be extended to homopropargylic alcohols with a remarkable regioselectivity and exclusive E‐stereoselectivity.  相似文献

The N‐alkylation of ammonia (or its surrogates, such as urea, NH4HCO3, and (NH4)2CO3) and amines with alcohols, including primary and secondary alcohols, was efficiently promoted under anaerobic conditions by the easily prepared and inexpensive supported ruthenium hydroxide catalyst Ru(OH)x/TiO2. Various types of symmetrically and unsymmetrically substituted “tertiary” amines could be synthesized by the N‐alkylation of ammonia (or its surrogates) and amines with “primary” alcohols. On the other hand, the N‐alkylation of ammonia surrogates (i.e., urea and NH4HCO3) with “secondary” alcohols selectively produced the corresponding symmetrically substituted “secondary” amines, even in the presence of excess amounts of alcohols, which is likely due to the steric hindrance of the secondary alcohols and/or secondary amines produced. Under aerobic conditions, nitriles could be synthesized directly from alcohols and ammonia surrogates. The observed catalysis for the present N‐alkylation reactions was intrinsically heterogeneous, and the retrieved catalyst could be reused without any significant loss of catalytic performance. The present catalytic transformation would proceed through consecutive N‐alkylation reactions, in which alcohols act as alkylating reagents. On the basis of deuterium‐labeling experiments, the formation of the ruthenium dihydride species is suggested during the N‐alkylation reactions.  相似文献

A new and simple method for the synthesis of the primary allyl chlorides and bromides 9 – 16 from the secondary or tertiary allyl alcohols 3 – 8 and acyl halide was developed (Scheme 2, Table 1). Non‐commercially available secondary and tertiary allyl alcohols were synthesized from the related ketones and aldehydes via the addition of vinylmagnesium chloride. Mechanistic studies indicate that the alcohols were first acetylated by the acetyl halide and then protonated prior to substitution by the halide, Cl? or Br?, via an SN2′ reaction, to yield the primary halides (Scheme 5).  相似文献

1‐(Trifluoromethyl)vinylation is accomplished in two protocols by the in situ generation of thermally unstable 3,3,3‐trifluoroprop‐1‐en‐2‐yllithium ( 1 ): 1) a rapid lithium–halogen‐exchange reaction of 2‐bromo‐3,3,3‐trifluoroprop‐1‐ene ( 2 ) takes effect with sec‐BuLi at ?105 °C to generate vinyllithium 1 , which reacts with more reactive electrophiles, such as aldehydes and N‐tosylimines before its decomposition, to afford 2‐(trifluoromethyl)allyl alcohols and N‐[2‐(trifluoromethyl)allyl] sulfoamides in good yield; 2) treatment of 2 with nBuLi at ?100 °C causes a slow lithium–halogen exchange of 2 , which gives rise to a mixture of 1 and nBuLi. Vinyllithium 1 is preferentially trapped with less reactive electrophiles, such as N,N‐dimethylamides in the presence of BF3?OEt2, to afford 1‐(trifluoromethyl)vinyl ketones in good yield. Versatility of the products toward syntheses of CF3‐containing ring‐fused cyclopentenones is also demonstrated by the Pauson–Khand reaction and the Nazarov cyclization.  相似文献

The conversion of simple, easily available urea‐substituted 3‐phenylpropargyl alcohols catalyzed by a simple IPr–gold(I) catalyst in a gold(I)‐catalyzed cascade reaction composing of a gold‐catalyzed nucleophilic addition and a subsequent gold‐catalyzed substitution reaction delivers 1H‐imidazo[1, 5?a]indol‐3(2 H)‐ones. Other gold(I) catalysts or silver catalysts gave lower yields and often gave other side products. Gold(III) and copper(II) catalysts decomposed the starting material. Twelve examples, including donor and acceptor substituents on the distal nitrogen of the urea substructure, are provided. An X‐ray crystal structure analysis confirmed the structural assignment. The mechanistic investigation including isolation and further conversion of intermediates and reactions with enantiopure starting materials indicated that after the nucleophilic‐addition step, the substrate undergoes an SN1‐type benzylic substitution reaction at the indolyl alcohol intermediate or an intramolecular hydroamination reaction of the 2‐vinylindole intermediate.  相似文献

The ethylenebis(N‐methylimidazolium) chlorochromate was prepared by addition of N‐methylimidazole to 1,2‐dibromoethane to form the corresponding dibromide salt and subsequent treatment of this salt with CrO3 in 6N HCl solution. It is a stable yellow‐orange solid which selectively oxidized benzylic and allylic alcohols, hydroquinones and trimethylsilyl ethers in refluxing acetonitrile. Oxidation of alcohols was also examined under solvent‐free conditions and showed much better yields of the corresponding carbonyls in a very short reaction time when compared with the conventional method.  相似文献

The atom‐transfer carbonylation reaction of various alkyl iodides thereby leading to carboxylic acid esters was effectively accelerated by the addition of transition‐metal catalysts under photoirradiation conditions. By using a combined Pd/ reaction system, vicinal C‐functionalization of alkenes was attained in which α‐substituted iodoalkanes, alkenes, carbon monoxide, and alcohols were coupled to give functionalized esters. When alkenyl alcohols were used as acceptor alkenes, three‐component coupling reactions, which were accompanied by intramolecular esterification, proceeded to give lactones. Pd‐dimer complex [Pd2(CNMe)6][PF6]2, which is known to undergo homolysis under photoirradiation conditions, worked quite well as a catalyst in these three‐ or four‐component coupling reactions. In this metal/radical hybrid system, both Pd radicals and acyl radicals are key players and a stereochemical study confirmed the carbonylation step proceeded through a radical carbonylation mechanism.  相似文献

The reactions of 3‐chloro‐3‐(chlorosulfanyl)‐2,2,4,4‐tetramethylcyclobutan‐1‐one ( 2 ) with N, O, S, and P nucleophiles occur by substitution of Cl at the S‐atom. Whereas, in the cases of secondary amines, alkanols, phenols, thiols, thiophenols, and di‐ and trialkyl phosphates, the initially formed substitution products were obtained, the corresponding products with allyl and propargyl alcohols undergo a [2,3]‐sigmatropic rearrangement to give allyl and allenyl sulfoxides, respectively. Analogous substitution reactions were observed when 3‐chloro‐3‐(chlorodisulfanyl)‐2,2,4,4‐tetramethylcyclobutan‐1‐one ( 3 ) was treated with N, O, and S nucleophiles. The reaction of 3 with Et3P led to an unexpected product via cleavage of the S? S bond (cf. Scheme 13). In the reactions of 2 with primary amines and H2O, the substitution products react further via elimination of HCl to yield the corresponding thiocarbonyl S‐imides and the thiocarbonyl S‐oxide, respectively. Whereas the latter could be isolated, the former were not stable but could be intercepted by MeOH (Scheme 4) or adamantanethione (Scheme 5). The structures of some of the substitution products were established by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

The 1H‐pyrazole‐3‐carboxylic acid 2 , obtained from the furan‐2,3‐dione 1 and N‐Benzylidene‐N'‐(3‐nitrophenyl) hydrazine, was converted via reactions of its acid chloride 3 with various alcohols or N‐nucleo‐philes into the corresponding ester or amide derivatives 4 or 5 , respectively. Nitrile 6 and anilino‐pyrazole acid 7 derivatives of 2 were also obtained by dehydration of 5a in a mixture of SOCl2 with DMF and reduction of 2 with sodium polysulphide, respectively. While cyclocondensation reactions of 2 or 7 with phenyl hydrazine or hydrazine hydrate and 6 with only anhydrous hydrazine lead to derivatives of pyrazolo[3,4‐d]‐pyridazinone 8 and pyrazolo[3,4‐d]pyridazine amine 9 , respectivel. The reaction of 2 with 2‐hydrazinopyri‐dine provided hydrazono‐pyrazole acid derivative 10 , which was decarboxylated to give hydrazono‐pyra‐zole derivative 11 . Pyrazolo[4,3‐d]oxazinone 12 and 2‐quinolyl pyrazolo[3,4‐d]pyridazine 13 derivatives were also prepared by cyclocondensation reactions of 2 with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and 7 with acetaldehyde, respectively.  相似文献

The first Lewis acid catalyzed asymmetric Friedel–Crafts alkylation reaction of ortho‐hydroxybenzyl alcohols with C3‐substituted indoles is described. A chiral N,N′‐dioxide Sc(OTf)3 complex served not only to promote formation of ortho‐quinone methides (o‐QMs) in situ but also induced the asymmetry of the reaction. This methodology enables a novel activation of ortho‐hydroxybenzyl alcohols, thus affording the desired chiral diarylindol‐2‐ylmethanes in up to 99 % yield and 99 % ee. A range of functional groups were also tolerated under the mild reaction conditions. Moreover, this strategy gives concise access to enantioenriched indole‐fused benzoxocines.  相似文献

An Ir‐catalyzed intermolecular asymmetric dearomatization reaction of β‐naphthols with allyl alcohols or allyl ethers was developed. When an iridium catalyst generated from [Ir(COD)Cl]2 (COD=cyclooctadiene) and a chiral P/olefin ligand is employed, highly functionalized β‐naphthalenone compounds bearing an all‐carbon‐substituted quaternary chiral center were obtained in up to 92 % yield and 98 % ee . The direct utilization of allyl alcohols as electrophiles represents an improvement from the viewpoint of atom economy. Allyl ethers were found to undergo asymmetric allylic substitution reaction under Ir catalysis for the first time. The diverse transformations of the dearomatized product to various motifs render this method attractive.  相似文献
