This work reports a cyanide-free continuous-flow process for cyanation of sp2 and sp carbons to synthesize aryl, vinyl and acetylenic nitriles from (5-methyl-2-phenyloxazol-4-yl) boronic acid [OxBA] reagent as a sole source of carbon-bound masked −CN source. Non-toxic and stable OxBA reagent is generated by lithiation-borylation of bromo-oxazole, and the consecutive Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling with aryl, vinyl, or acetylenic halides and demasking [4+2]/retro-[4+2] sequence were successfully accomplished to give the desired cyano compounds with reasonably good yields in a four-step flow manner. A unique feature of this cyanation protocol in flow enables to cyanate a variety of sp2 and sp carbons to produce a broad spectrum of aryl acetonitrile. It is envisaged that the OxBA based cyanation would replace existing unstable and toxic approaches as well as non-toxic cyanation using two different sources of “C” and “N” to incorporate the −CN group.  相似文献

An inexpensive, air-moisture stable and reusable PS-Pd(II)-anthra complex was synthesized by reacting chloro-methylated polystyrene with anthranilic acid to get polymer anchored ligand which was then reacted with PdCl2 to get polymer anchored complex. This complex was characterized by different spectroscopic and elemental analyses. The activity of the Pd-complex as catalyst was tested for the Suzuki, Heck, Sonogashira cross-coupling and also for amination and cyanation reactions under various conditions. The catalyst exhibits high catalytic activities for the coupling of various aryl halides with organoboronic acid, alkene, alkyne and amine along with the cyanation of aryl halides providing excellent yields of desired product. Further, the catalyst can be easily recovered quantitatively by simple filtration and reused up to five times without sufficient loss of its catalytic activity.  相似文献

A practical method for palladium-catalyzed cyanation of aryl halides using Pd/C is described. The new method can be applied to a variety of aryl bromide and active aryl chloride substrates to effect efficient conversions. The process features many advantages over existing cyanation conditions and the practical utility of the process has been demonstrated on scale.  相似文献

Magnetic nickel ferrite nanoparticles are found to be an efficient catalytic system for cyanation reactions of various types of aryl halides under conventional heating conditions. All the reactions result in very good to excellent yields under optimized reaction conditions. Aromatic nitriles are prepared efficiently through transition‐metal‐mediated cyanation of aryl (pseudo)halides with metallic cyano‐group sources, such as CuCN, KCN, NaCN, Zn(CN)2, TMSCN, or K4[Fe(CN)6]. However, this approach often suffers from drawbacks, such as the formation of stoichiometric amounts of metal waste, the poisoning of the metal catalysts, or the generation of toxic HCN gas. As a result, a range of “nonmetallic” organic cyano‐group sources have been explored for the cyanation of aryl halides and arene C? H bonds. This Minireview summarizes types of nonmetallic cyano‐group sources and their applications in the preparation of aryl nitriles.  相似文献

The development of new palladium catalysts for the cyanation of various aryl and heteroaryl chlorides is described. The combination of amine co-catalysts with chelating phosphine ligands, for example, 1,4-bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb) or 1,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)pentane (dpppe), allows an efficient cyanation of chloroarenes with simple potassium cyanide. General palladium-catalyzed cyanation of nonactivated and deactivated chloroarenes is possible for the first time. Studies of the oxidative addition of aryl halides to palladium triphenylphosphine complexes in the presence and absence of amines suggest that the co-catalyst is capable of preventing catalyst deactivation caused by the presence of excess cyanide ions in solution.  相似文献

Copper-catalyzed cyanation of aryl halides was improved to be more economical and environmentally friendly by using water as the solvent and ligand-free Cu(OAc)2·H2O as the catalyst under microwave heating. Application of a new catalytic system for cyanation reaction of various aryl halides using K4[Fe(CN)6] as cyanating source was examined. The reactions were performed under microwave irradiation and results showed that application of this catalytic system and DMF at 130 °C minimized the reaction times from hours to minutes in good to excellent yields.  相似文献

An efficient heterogeneous Pd catalytic system has been developed, based on immobilization of Pd nanoparticles (PNPs) on a silica-bonded N-propylpiperazine (SBNPP) substrate. The SBNPP substrate effectively stabilizes the PNPs and improves their stability against aggregation. The catalytic activity of this catalyst was investigated in the cyanation of aryl halides with K4[Fe(CN)6 ] as the cyanide source. The catalyst could be recycled several times without appreciable loss of catalytic activity.  相似文献

A new method for the synthesis of nitriles is described. As a complement to the classic cyanation of aryl halides using cyanide sources and a transition metal catalyst, the palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling of thiocyanates with boronic acids in the presence of copper(I) thiophene-2-carboxylate (CuTC) affords nitriles in good to excellent yields.  相似文献

A new advantageous cyanating agent, potassium hexacyanoferrate(II), is described for the palladium-catalyzed cyanation of aryl halides. All cyanide ions on the iron(II) center can be transferred to the aryl halide using palladium(II) acetate and dppf as the catalyst. Under optimized reaction conditions good yields of benzonitriles and unprecedented catalyst productivities are observed.  相似文献

We describe a nickel‐catalyzed cyanation reaction of aryl (pseudo)halides that employs butyronitrile as a cyanating reagent instead of highly toxic cyanide salts. A dual catalytic cycle merging retro‐hydrocyanation and cross‐coupling enables the conversion of a broad array of aryl chlorides and aryl/vinyl triflates into their corresponding nitriles. This new reaction provides a strategically distinct approach to the safe preparation of aryl cyanides, which are essential compounds in agrochemistry and medicinal chemistry.  相似文献

Routes were investigated for the synthesis of cicerfuran, a hydroxylated benzofuran from wild chickpea implicated in resistance to Fusarium wilt, and some of its analogues. A novel method is described for the synthesis of oxygenated benzofurans by epoxidation and cyclisation of 2′-hydroxystilbenes. The stilbene intermediates required could be synthesised by palladium-catalysed coupling of styrenes with mono-oxygenated aryl halides but not with di-oxygenated aryl halides. Stilbenes corresponding to the latter were synthesised by Wittig reactions.  相似文献

Preliminary results of an original approach to 4-substituted-2-phenylimidazoles starting from readily available N-propargyl-benzamidine and aryl halides are reported. Benzonitriles are easily accessible via palladium-catalyzed cyanation of aryl halides using potassium hexacyanoferrate(II) as cyanide source. This method is applicable on both activated and deactivated aryl and heteroaryl bromides and activated chlorides giving the corresponding benzonitriles in good to excellent yield. Advantageously, the used cyanating agent is non-toxic and cheap. The presented catalyst system is rather simple and it is not necessary to add expensive phosphines, making the novel method also attractive for industrial applications.  相似文献

Halothane, 2-bromo-2-chloro-1,1,1-trifluoroethane, reacts with sec-butyllithium in the presence of zinc halides to afford a chlorodifluorovinylzinc reagent.
