The effects of non-zero diagonal dipole matrix elements on multi-photon resonance profiles, for the interaction of molecules with a sinusoidal field, are discussed by using an expression for the profiles derived in the rotating wave approximation. This paper reports that the (2+1) resonance enhanced multi-photon ionization spectra of SH radical in external fields are simulated using the split-operator scheme of time-dependent wave-packet method. Two ionic states, i.e.~a1Δ and b1+, are involved in the simulation. It gives the simulated photoelectron spectra, the population in each electronic state, as well as the projection of the wave-packet in each electronic state on different vibrational states. These results show that the so-called four-state model can represent the experimental results well.  相似文献

A novel method for producing rewritable optical memory with ultra-high storage density and ultra-high recording and readout speed is presented. A 120 fs, 800 nm, 1 kHz laser focused by an objective lens is used to produce recording bits in glass with high transmittance contrast. These recording bits can be erased by heat-treatment. The mechanism has been discussed by means of the absorption and electron spin resonance(ESR) spectra of silicate glasses before and after irradiation by the laser. The absorption of glasses increases greatly after irradiation because of color-center generation through multi-photon absorption. ESR spectra shows that the color-center induced in the glass are hole-trapped defects. The color-center disappears when the glass heated because the holes and electrons at traps are released by thermal stimulation and recombine again.  相似文献

A novel one-color Xe+-N laser induced collisional charge transfer system is proposed, and preparation of the initial state of the system, i.e., Xe+ is experimentally implemented through resonance enhanced multi-photon ionization (REMPI) by ~440 nm dye laser. The REMPI of Xe is experimentally investigated through time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometry and the intensity dependence of Xe+ is obtained, aiming at the preparation of Xe+. The resonant ionization spectra of Xe at ~440 nm under several different conditions are measured, showing the impacts of mode purification and source pressure on the resonant ionization spectrum. The results indicate the feasibility of preparing the initial state of the Xe+-N system by ~440 nm multi-photon resonant ionization, which prepares for a further experiment of laser-induced collisional charge transfer.  相似文献

The 48Ca(e,e(')n) reaction has been investigated for excitation energies 11-25 MeV and momentum transfers 0.22-0.43 fm(-1) at the superconducting Darmstadt electron linear accelerator S-DALINAC. Electric dipole and quadrupole plus monopole strength distributions are extracted from a multipole decomposition of the spectra. Their fragmented structure is described by microscopic calculations allowing for coupling of the basic particle-hole excitations to more complex configurations. Comparison of the excitation spectrum of the residual nucleus 47Ca with statistical model calculations reveals a 39(5)% contribution of direct decay to the damping of the giant dipole resonance.  相似文献

A fully microscopic, antisymmetrized DWBA analysis of (p, p') spectra in the giant resonance region of 16O, 40Ca and 208Pb is presented. The nuclear structure information is derived from RPA wave functions calculated in large configuration spaces. The theoretical spectra are in general in agreement with the experimental results. A new interpretation follows from our. investigation for the spectrum of the giant dipole region in the heavy nuclei: This resonance structure is mainly due to the breathing mode, whereas the electric dipole contribution is much smaller.  相似文献

Utilizing a series of micro-fabrication processes for terahertz meta materials, we fabricated three geometries of split-ring resonators: a circular geometry and two elliptical geometries. The samples were measured by the transmission spectroscopy in the terahertz time domain. Comparing these spectra, we found that these plots clearly reveal the lower frequency LC resonances and the higher frequency dipole resonances, meanwhile, the coupling of the LC and dipole resonance has an important influence on the overall response. It is shown that we can design the LC and dipole resonance frequency, and regulate the coupling of the LC and dipole resonance to adjust the overall response. A simple transmission-line RLC circuit model is used to help us understand this coupling behavior and the extent of its effects.  相似文献

 基于电子与多光子集团非线性Compton散射模型,研究了多光子非线性Compton散射对激光等离子体中强缪尔湍动谱的影响,提出了将入射光和散射光作为形成强缪尔湍动的新机制,给出了横等离激元、强朗缪尔激元和离声激元之间相互作用满足的修正方程,并进行了数值模拟.结果表明:Compton散射使横等离激元和朗缪尔激元间的碰撞频率大大增加,随着时间的演化,横等离激元和朗缪尔激元的能量由小波数区向大波数区的转移比散射前要快得多,同时产生剧烈的坍塌.坍塌后期,等离激元的强非线性作用激发出高次共振谐波,使能量从一个谐波转移到另一个谐波,形成无限高次谐波,引起波的破碎,出现由调制不稳定性控制的强朗缪尔湍动、较强的激光成丝和能量均分现象.研究结果为进一步研究强朗缪尔湍动的加速机制、反常碰撞、激光加热实验及快点火实验提供了理论支持.  相似文献

采用离散偶极子近似方法计算了内嵌圆饼空心方形银纳米结构的消光光谱以及其近场的电场强度分布,并进一步与空心方形纳米结构的消光光谱和表面电场做比较.结果表明,在耦合作用下内嵌圆饼空心方形银纳米结构不仅产生了新的共振模式,而且新的共振模式在传统表面增强拉曼散射的激发波长范围内,进而可以弥补由于实验上运用纳米切片法所制备的空心方形纳米结构尺寸较大导致其共振吸收峰在远红外波长范围的不足.此外,可以通过改变内嵌圆饼空心方形银纳米结构的形貌参数调节其表面等离子体共振峰的共振波长,以满足在表面增强拉曼散射、生物分子或化学分子探测上的应用.  相似文献

Multi-photon parametric magnetic resonance in a miniature vapor cell is demonstrated. Much more multi-photon magnetic resonance can be observed when the radio frequency field becomes stronger. The linewidth of the n photons magnetic resonance equals that of the first-order resonance divided by n, which means that the uncertainty of the magnetic sublevel is reduced by the factor n. The signal-to-noise ratio can be improved when the low-frequency multi-photon resonance takes place, which finds a possible application in precision magnetic field measurement.  相似文献

Summary The atomic-dipole squeezing condition for arbitrarily prepared atomic and field states in multi-photon Jaynes-Cummings model was derived. Three special cases were discussed. For the field initially in a vacuum state and a certain eigenstate of the Susskind-Glogower phase operator, the analytical dipole squeezing conditions were obtained and the maximum squeezing values were calculated. For a squeezed vacuum input field, the dipole squeezing behaviours under the influence of the field squeezing parameterr and the phased atom were numerically treated.  相似文献

The extinction, integrated scattering, and absorption spectra of gold and silver nanorods with random and regular orientation are studied. The calculations are performed for spheroids, circular cylinders, circular cylinders with hemispherical ends (T-matrix method), and rectangular prisms (discrete dipole approximation). A new quadrupole resonance is discovered that arises between the usual plasmon dipole resonances excited by a field longitudinal or transverse with respect to the symmetry axis. The new resonance can be excited only by a TM incident wave and is the greatest for orientation of the symmetry axis of the particle at an angle of 54° with respect to the light beam.  相似文献

提出了一种同心椭圆柱-纳米管复合结构,该结构由金纳米管中内嵌椭圆形金柱构成,利用时域有限差分法分析了尺寸参数、周围环境及纳米管内核材料对该结构光学性质的影响.结果表明,调节椭圆柱芯的旋转角度可产生双重偶极-偶极Fano共振,其主要是由椭圆柱芯的纵向或横向偶极共振模式与纳米管的偶极成键和反成键模式杂化形成的超辐射成键模式和亚辐射成键模式之间的相互作用产生的,且共振特性可通过调节复合结构的尺寸参数控制,随椭圆柱长轴或短轴的增大而红移,随纳米管外径的增大或整体尺寸的减小而蓝移,当纳米管内径增大时高频Fano共振随着红移,而低频Fano共振先蓝移再红移,同时其对外界环境的变化不敏感,但对纳米管内核材料变化有着较好的响应.利用等离激元杂化理论对该现象进行了解释.这些结果可为构造其他类型的多波段Fano共振二维或三维纳米结构提供一种新的方式.  相似文献

Three geometries of split-ring resonators (SRRs) including circular geometry and two elliptical geometries were fabricated by modern photolithography process. The samples were measured by terahertz time-domain transmission spectroscopy. These spectra clearly revealed the lower-frequency LC resonances and the higher-frequency dipole resonances; meanwhile, the coupling effect between the LC and dipole resonance had played an important role in the overall response. Comparing the results shows that the LC resonance, dipole resonance, and the coupling effect can be designed. A simple transmission-line (TL) RLC circuit model was used to help us understand this coupling behavior and the extent of its effects. But the simple model has some disadvantage. For better matching TL-RLC model results with measured data, an improved model was introduced for the circular and y-direction stretched elliptical geometry SRRs. Other resonances and modes existing at higher frequencies except the typical LC and dipole resonances were revealed by the improved model.  相似文献

The optical nonlinearity of a CdTe quantum dot enhanced by a gold nanoparticle has been theoretically studied by employing the multi-bands effective mass method. The energy levels have been computed using 6×6 k.p model for the valence band. The semiconductor quantum dot-size-dependent third-order susceptibility of third harmonic generation in a CdTe-Au nanocrystal complex has been analyzed. It is found that the metal nanoparticle enhances the optical nonlinearity of the semiconductor quantum dot due to the dipole/multipole interaction that will bring in the strong damping and the field enhancement. By choosing the radius of CdTe quantum dot, the third-order nonlinear susceptibility for third harmonic generation can be optimized for the one- and multi-photon resonance. Also, we can alter the optical nonlinearity by changing the ratio of semiconductor-metal nanoparticle distance to the metal nanoparticle radius.  相似文献

We investigate the optical bistability behavior of a three-level closed-loop atomic system beyond the multi-photon resonance condition. Using the Floquet decomposition, we solve the time-dependent equations of motion, beyond the multi-photon resonance condition. By identifying the different scattering processes contributing to the medium response, it is shown that in general the optical bistability behavior of the system is not phase-dependent. The phase dependence is due to the scattering of the driving and coupling fields into the probe field at a frequency, which, in general, differs from the probe field frequency.  相似文献
