In this work, we study the existence of bounded and almost automorphic solutions for evolution equations in Banach spaces. We suppose that the linear part is the infinitesimal generator of a compact C0-semigroup of bounded linear operators and the nonlinear part is an almost automorphic function with respect to the second argument. We give sufficient conditions ensuring the existence of an almost automorphic solution when there is at least one bounded solution on R+. We use the subvariant functional method to show that every K-minimizing mild solution is compact almost automorphic. Applications are provided for both heat and wave equations with nonlinearities in several functional spaces.  相似文献

This paper deals with a quasilinear parabolic–elliptic chemotaxis system with logistic source, under homogeneous Neumann boundary conditions in a smooth bounded domain. For the case of positive diffusion function, it is shown that the corresponding initial boundary value problem possesses a unique global classical solution which is uniformly bounded. Moreover, if the diffusion function is zero at some point, or a positive diffusion function and the logistic damping effect is rather mild, we proved that the weak solutions are global existence. Finally, it is asserted that the solutions approach constant equilibria in the large time for a specific case of the logistic source.  相似文献

In this article, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a weak solution of a Kolmogorov equation perturbed by an inverse-square potential. More precisely, using a weighted Hardy's inequality with respect to an invariant measure μ, we show the existence of the semigroup solution of the parabolic problem corresponding to a generalized Ornstein–Uhlenbeck operator perturbed by an inverse-square potential in L 2(? N ,?μ). In the case of the classical Ornstein–Uhlenbeck operator we obtain nonexistence of positive exponentially bounded solutions of the parabolic problem if the coefficient of the inverse-square function is too large.  相似文献

In this paper, we discuss the solvability of backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs) with superquadratic generators. We first prove that given a superquadratic generator, there exists a bounded terminal value, such that the associated BSDE does not admit any bounded solution. On the other hand, we prove that if the superquadratic BSDE admits a bounded solution, then there exist infinitely many bounded solutions for this BSDE. Finally, we prove the existence of a solution for Markovian BSDEs where the terminal value is a bounded continuous function of a forward stochastic differential equation.  相似文献

For an inhomogeneous quasilinear hyperbolic system of diagonal form, under the assumptions that the system is linearly degenerate and the C^1 norm of the boundary data is bounded, we show that the mechanism of the formation of singularities of C^1 classical solution to the Goursat problem with C^1 compatibility conditions at the origin must be an ODE type. The similar result is also obtained for the weakly discontinuous solution with C^0 compatibility conditions at the origin.  相似文献

In this paper, for a coupled system of one‐dimensional wave equations with Dirichlet boundary controls, we show that the controllability of classical solutions implies the controllability of weak solutions. This conclusion can be applied in proving some results that are hardly obtained by a direct way in the framework of classical solutions. For instance, we strictly derive the necessary conditions for the exact boundary synchronization by two groups in the framework of classical solutions for the coupled system of wave equations. We study convolution solutions of an abstract stochastic Cauchy problem with the generator of a convolution operator semigroup. In the case of additive noise, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a weak convolution solution; this solution is described by a formula generalizing the classical Cauchy formula in which the solution operators of the homogeneous problem are replaced by the convolution solution operators of the homogeneous problem. For the problem with multiplicative noise, we find a condition under which the weak convolution solution coincides with the soft solution and indicate a sufficient condition for the existence and uniqueness of a weak convolution solution; the latter can be obtained by the successive approximation method.  相似文献

We study the existence of a classical solution of the exterior Dirichlet problem for a class of quasilinear elliptic boundary value problems that are suggested by plane shear flow. In this connection only bounded solutions which tend to zero at infinity are of interest. A priori bounds on solutions and constructive existence proofs are given. Finally, we prove the existence of a unique bounded solution of the shear flow and we show, under certain hypotheses about the asymptotic behavior of the nonlinearity, that this solution tends to zero at infinity. As an example, we consider the case of the parabolic shear flow.  相似文献

We extend the well posedness results for second order backward stochastic differential equations introduced by Soner, Touzi and Zhang (2012)  [31] to the case of a bounded terminal condition and a generator with quadratic growth in the zz variable. More precisely, we obtain uniqueness through a representation of the solution inspired by stochastic control theory, and we obtain two existence results using two different methods. In particular, we obtain the existence of the simplest purely quadratic 2BSDEs through the classical exponential change, which allows us to introduce a quasi-sure version of the entropic risk measure. As an application, we also study robust risk-sensitive control problems. Finally, we prove a Feynman–Kac formula and a probabilistic representation for fully non-linear PDEs in this setting.  相似文献

By employing the notion of exceptional family of elements, we establish some existence results for generalized variational inequality problems in reflexive Banach spaces provided that the mapping is upper sign-continuous. We show that the nonexistence of an exceptional family of elements is a necessary condition for the solvability of the dual variational inequality. For quasimonotone variational inequalities, we present some sufficient conditions for the existence of strong solutions. For the pseudomonotone case, the nonexistence of an exceptional family of elements is proved to be an equivalent characterization of the problem having strong solutions. Furthermore, we establish several equivalent conditions for the solvability for the pseudomonotone case. As a byproduct, a quasimonotone generalized variational inequality is proved to have a strong solution if it is strictly feasible. Moreover, for the pseudomonotone case, the strong solution set is nonempty and bounded if it is strictly feasible.  相似文献

In this article we show the existence of a random-field solution to linear stochastic partial differential equations whose partial differential operator is hyperbolic and has variable coefficients that may depend on the temporal and spatial argument. The main tools for this, pseudo-differential and Fourier integral operators, come from microlocal analysis. The equations that we treat are second-order and higher-order strictly hyperbolic, and second-order weakly hyperbolic with uniformly bounded coefficients in space. For the latter one we show that a stronger assumption on the correlation measure of the random noise might be needed. Moreover, we show that the well-known case of the stochastic wave equation can be embedded into the theory presented in this article.  相似文献

In this paper we give a characterization of the notion of entropy solutions of some flux limited diffusion equations for which we can prove that the solution is a function of bounded variation in space and time. This includes the case of the so-called relativistic heat equation and some generalizations. For them we prove that the jump set consists of fronts that propagate at the speed given by Rankine-Hugoniot condition and we give on it a geometric characterization of the entropy conditions. Since entropy solutions are functions of bounded variation in space once the initial condition is, to complete the program we study the time regularity of solutions of the relativistic heat equation under some conditions on the initial datum. An analogous result holds for some other related equations without additional assumptions on the initial condition.  相似文献

This paper deals with multivalued quasi variational inequalities with pseudo-monotone and monotone maps. The primary objective of this work is to show that the notion of generalized solutions can be employed to investigate multivalued pseudo-monotone quasi variational inequalities. It is a well-known fact that a quasi variational inequality can conveniently be posed as a fixed point problem through the so-called variational selection. For pseudo-monotone maps, the associated variational selection is a nonconvex map, and the fixed point theorems can only be applied under restrictive assumptions on the data of quasi variational inequalities. On the other hand, the generalized solutions are defined by posing a minimization problem which can be solved by a variant of classical Weierstrass theorem. It turns out that far less restrictive assumptions on the data are needed in this case. To emphasis on the strong difference between a classical solution and a generalized solution, we also give a new existence theorem for quasi variational inequalities with monotone maps. The main existence result is proved under a milder coercivity condition. We also relax a few other conditions from the monotone map. Due to its flexibility, it seems that the notion of generalized solutions can be employed to study quasi variational inequalities for other classes of maps as well.  相似文献

The hyperbolic geometric flow equations is introduced recently by Kong and Liu motivated by Einstein equation and Hamilton Ricci flow. In this paper, we consider the mixed initial boundary value problem for hyperbolic geometric flow, and prove the global existence of classical solutions. The results show that, for any given initial metric on R2 in certain class of metric, one can always choose suitable initial velocity symmetric tensor such that the solutions exist, and the scalar curvature corresponding to the solution metric gij keeps bounded. If the initial velocity tensor does not satisfy the certain conditions, the solutions will blow up at a finite time. Some special explicit solutions to the reduced equation are given.  相似文献

For abstract linear functional differential equations with a weighted pseudo-almost periodic forcing term, we prove that the existence of a bounded solution on R+ implies the existence of a weighted pseudo-almost periodic solution. Our results extend the classical theorem due to Massera on the existence of periodic solutions for linear periodic ordinary differential equations. In this paper, a class of Navier–Stokes equations with infinite delay is considered. It includes delays in the convective and the forcing terms. We discuss the existence of mild and classical solutions for the problem. We establish the results for an abstract delay problem by using the fact that the Stokes operator is the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup of bounded linear operators. The existence of solutions of elliptic and parabolic equations with data a measure has always been quite important for the general theory, a prominent example being the fundamental solutions of the linear theory. In nonlinear equations the existence of such solutions may find special obstacles, that can be either essential, or otherwise they may lead to more general concepts of solution. We give a particular review of results in the field of nonlinear diffusion.As a new contribution, we study in detail the case of logarithmic diffusion, associated with Ricci flow in the plane, where we can prove existence of measure-valued solutions. The surprising thing is that these solutions become classical after a finite time. In that general setting, the standard concept of weak solution is not adequate, but we can solve the initial-value problem for the logarithmic diffusion equation in the plane with bounded nonnegative measures as initial data in a suitable class of measure solutions. We prove that the problem is well-posed. The phenomenon of blow-down in finite time is precisely described: initial point masses diffuse into the medium and eventually disappear after a finite time Ti=Mi/4π.  相似文献

We prove the convergence, in some strong sense, of a Markov process called “a misanthrope process” to the entropy weak solution of a one-dimensional scalar nonlinear hyperbolic equation. Such a process may be used for the simulation of traffic flows. The convergence proof relies on the uniqueness of entropy Young measure solutions to the nonlinear hyperbolic equation, which holds for both the bounded and the unbounded cases. In the unbounded case, we also prove an error estimate. Finally, numerical results show how this convergence result may be understood in practical cases.  相似文献
