We study an approach to constructing multiple soliton solutions of the (3 1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation. We take the (3 1)-dimensional Jimbo-Miwa(JM) equation as an example.Using the extended homogeneous balance method, one can find a backlund transformation to decompose the (3 1)-dimensional JM equation into a linear partial differential equation and two bilinear partial differential equations.Starting from these linear and bilinear partial differential equations, some multiple soliton solutions for the (3 1)-dimensional JM equation are obtained by introducing a class of formal solutions.  相似文献

The nonlinear Schr?dinger(NLS) equation and Boussinesq equation are two very important integrable equations. They have widely physical applications. In this paper, we investigate a nonlinear system, which is the two-component NLS equation coupled to the Boussinesq equation. We obtain the bright–bright, bright–dark, and dark–dark soliton solutions to the nonlinear system. We discuss the collision between two solitons. We observe that the collision of bright–bright soliton is inelastic and two solitons oscillating periodically can happen in the two parallel-traveling bright–bright or bright–dark soliton solution. The general breather and rogue wave solutions are also given. Our results show again that there are more abundant dynamical properties for multi-component nonlinear systems.  相似文献

In this paper, an explicit Bgcklund transformation (BT) of the Burgers equation is obtained by using the further extended tanh method [Phys. Lett. A 307 (2003) 269; Chaos, Solitons & Fractals 17 (2003) 669]. Based on the BT and some newly obtained seed solutions, infinite sequences of exact solutions for the Burgers equation are generated. Further more, this BT of the Burgers equation is applied to solve the variant Boussinesq equations and the approximate equations of long water wave.  相似文献

A new generalized Jacobi elliptic function method is used to construct the exact travelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) in a unified way. The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the elliptic equation which has more new solutions. More new doubly periodic and multiple soliton solutions are obtained for the generalized (3+1)-dimensional Kronig-Penny (KP) equation with variable coefficients. This method can be applied to other equations with variable coefficients.  相似文献

By a known transformation, (2 1)-dimensional Brioer Kaup equations are turned to a single equation. The classical Lie symmetry analysis and similarity reductions are performed for this single equation. From some of reduction equations, new exact solutions are obtained, which contain previous results, and more exact solutions can be created directly by abundant known solutions of the Burgers equations and the heat equations.  相似文献

We develop an approach to construct multiple soliton solutions of the (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear evolution equation. We take the (3+1)-dimensional Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov (NNV) equation as an example. Using the extended homogeneous balance method, one can find a Backlünd transformation to decompose the (3+1)-dimensional NNV into a set of partial differential equations. Starting from these partial differential equations, some multiple soliton solutions for the (3+1)-dimensional NNV equation are obtained by introducing a class of formal solutions.  相似文献

The qualitative theory of differential equations is applied to the Ostrovsky equation. The cusped soliton and loop-soliton solutions of the Ostrovsky equation are obtained. Asymptotic behavior of eusped soliton solutions is given. Numerical simulations are provided for cusped solitons and so-called loop-solitons of the Ostrovsky equation.  相似文献

This paper addresses the extended (G′/G)-expansion method and applies it to a couple of nonlinear wave equations. These equations are modified the Benjamin-Bona-Mahoney equation and the Boussinesq equation. This extended method reveals several solutions to these equations. Additionally, the singular soliton solutions are revealed, for these two equations, with the aid of the ansatz method.  相似文献

Two Darboux transformations of the (2+1)-dimensional Caudrey-Dodd-Gibbon-Kotera-Sawaka ( CDGKS) equation and (2+1)-dimensional modified Korteweg-de Vries (mKdV) equation are constructed through the Darboux matrix method, respectively. N-soliton solutions of these two equations are presented by applying the Darboux trans- formations N times. The right-going bright single-soliton solution and interactions of two and three-soliton overtaking collisions of the (2+1)-dimensional CDGKS equation are studied. By choosing different seed solutions, the right-going bright and left-going dark single-soliton solutions, the interactions of two and three-soliton overtaking collisions, and kink soliton solutions of the (2+1)-dimensional mKdV equation are investigated. The results can be used to illustrate the interactions of water waves in shallow water.  相似文献

In this paper, the short-wave model equations are investigated, which are associated with the Camassa- Holm (CH) and Degasperis Procesi (DP) shallow-water wave equations. Firstly, by means of the transformation of the independent variables and the travelling wave transformation, the partial differential equation is reduced to an ordinary differential equation. Secondly, the equation is solved by homotopy analysis method. Lastly, by the transformatioas back to the original independent variables, the solution of the original partial differential equation is obtained. The two types of solutions of the short-wave models are obtained in parametric form, one is one-cusp soliton for the CH equation while the other one is one-loop soliton for the DP equation. The approximate analytic solutions expressed by a series of exponential functions agree well with the exact solutions. It demonstrates the validity and great potential of homotopy analysis method for complicated nonlinear solitary wave problems.  相似文献

The bilinear form of two nonlinear evolution equations are derived by using Hirota derivative. The Backlund transformation based on the Hirota bilinear method for these two equations are presented, respectively. As an application, the explicit solutions including soliton and stationary rational solutions for these two equations are obtained.  相似文献

Two non-isospectral KdV equations with self-consistent sources are derived. Gauge transformation between the first non-isospectral KdV equation with self-consistent sources (corresponding to λt = -2aA) and its isospectral counterpart is given, from which exact solutions for the first non-isospectral KdV equation with self-consistent sources is easily listed. Besides, the soliton solutions for the two equations are obtained by means of Hirota's method and Wronskian technique, respectively. Meanwhile, the dynamical properties for these solutions are investigated.  相似文献

Darboux transformation (DT) provides us with a comprehensive approach to construct the exact and explicit solutions to the negative extended KdV (eKdV) equation, by which some new solutions such as singular soliton, negaton, and positon solutions are computed for the eKdV equation. We rediscover the soliton solution with finiteamplitude in [A.V. Slyunyaev and E.N. Pelinovskii, J. Exp. Theor. Phys. 89 (1999) 173] and discuss the difference between this soliton and the singular soliton. We clarify the relationship between the exact solutions of the eKdV equation and the spectral parameter. Moreover, the interactions of singular two solitons, positon and negaton, positon and soliton, and two positons are studied in detail.  相似文献

Considering that some types of fractal solutions may appear in many (2 1)-dimensional soliton equations because some arbitrary functions can be included in the exact solutions,we use some special types of lower dimensional fractal functions to construct higher dimensional fractal solutions of the Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov equation. The static eagle-shape fractal solutions, fractal dromion solutions and the fractal lump solutions are given in detail.  相似文献

In this paper, the(1+1)-dimensional variable-coefficient complex Ginzburg–Landau(CGL) equation with a paritytime(PT) symmetric potential U(x) is investigated. Although the CGL equations with a PT-symmetric potential are less reported analytically, the analytic solutions for the CGL equation are obtained with the bilinear method in this paper. Via the derived solutions, some soliton structures are presented with corresponding parameters, and the influences of them are analyzed and studied. The single-soliton structure is numerically verified, and its stability is analyzed against additive and multiplicative noises. In particular, we study the soliton dynamics under the impact of the PT-symmetric potential. Results show that the PT-symmetric potential plays an important role for obtaining soliton structures in ultrafast optics, and we can design fiber lasers and all-optical switches depending on the different amplitudes of soliton-like structures.  相似文献

An integrable (2+1)-dimensional coupled mKdV equation is decomposed into two (1 +1)-dimensional soliton systems, which is produced from the compatible condition of three spectral problems. With the help of decomposition and the Darboux transformation of two (1+1)-dimensional soliton systems, some interesting explicit solutions of these soliton equations are obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, a series of two line-soliton solutions and double periodic solutions of Chaffee-Infante equation have been obtained by using a new transformation. Unlike the existing methods which are used to find multiple soliton solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations, this approach is constructive and pure algebraic. The results found here are tested on computer and therefore their validity is ensured.  相似文献

We obtain Backlund transformation and some new kink-like solitary wave solutions for the generalized Burgers equation in (2 1)-dimensional space,ut 1/2(uδy^-1ux)x-uxx=0,by using the extended homogeneous balance method. As is well known, the introduction of the concept of dromions (the exponentially localized solutions in (2 1)-dimensional space)has triggered renewed interest in (2 1)-dimensional soliton systems. The solutions obtained are used to show that the variable ux admits exponentially localized solutions rather than the physical field u(x,y,t) itself. In addition,it is shown that the equation passes Painleve test.  相似文献
