Through use of the SPh(3)(+) (Ph = phenyl, C(6)H(5)) cation as a molecular template, a new three-dimensional Mn(dca)(3)(-) [dca = dicyanamide, N(CN)(2)(-)] anionic structure has been crystallized. At room temperature, (SPh(3))Mn(dca)(3) (1) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, with a = 11.7079(5) A, b = 12.8554(5) A, c = 16.8605(6) A, beta = 100.666(2) degrees, and V = 2493.8(3) A(3). Magnetic susceptibility measurements indicate that this salt exhibits a spin canted long range antiferromagnetically ordered ground state below 2.5 K.  相似文献

Two new vanadotellurates, [HTeV(9)O(28)](4-) and [H(2)TeV(9)O(28)](3-) have been synthesized and structurally characterized as tetra-n-butylammonium (TBA) salts: TBA(4)[HTeV(9)O(28)]·2CH(3)CN [triclinic, space group P ?1, a = 16.7102(6) ?, b = 17.4680(7) ?, c = 17.9634(7) ?, α = 74.412(1)°, β = 67.494(1)°, γ = 74.160(2)°, Z = 2] and TBA(3)[H(2)TeV(9)O(28)] [monoclinic, space group P2(1)/c, a = 13.0013(5) ?, b = 19.157(1) ?, c = 28.453(1) ?, β = 97.222(2)°, Z = 4]. The results of the structural analyses indicate that the four O atoms that bridge two V atoms on the Te side are the most basic ones in the structure. The results of density-functional theory (DFT) calculations support this view.  相似文献

The complexes of general formula [ML]2[Mn(NCS)4](ClO4)2 (where M = Cu(II), Ni(II); L = N-dl-5,7,7,12,14,14-hexamethyl-1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradeca-4,11-diene) were obtained and the crystal structures of both heteronuclear compounds were determined at 173 K. Complex [CuL]2[Mn(NCS)4](ClO4)2 (1) crystallizes in a monoclinic space group, C2/c, with a = 41.297(9) A, b = 7.571(2) A, c = 16.417(4) A, beta = 96.97(15) degrees, Z = 8, whereas complex [NiL]2[Mn(NCS)4](ClO4)2.H2O (2) crystallizes in a monoclinic space group, P2/c, with a = 21.018(5) A, b = 7.627(2) A, c = 16.295(4) A, beta = 104.47(1) degrees, Z = 4. The magnetic behaviour of (1) and (2) has been investigated over the temperature range 1.8-300 K. Complex (1) displays ferromagnetic coupling inside the trinuclear core of CuMnCu and compound (2) behaves like a mononuclear Mn(II) system. The magnetic properties of the second compound (2) with a similar trinuclear structure shows that Ni(II) ions have a diamagnetic character and a rather weak zero-field splitting at the central Mn(II) ion occurs. Finally, the magnitudes of the Cu(II)-M(II) interactions with M = Ni and Mn have been compared and qualitatively justified.  相似文献

The crystal structures of alpha-KrF(2) and salts containing the KrF(+) and Kr(2)F(3)(+) cations have been investigated for the first time using low-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The low-temperature alpha-phase of KrF(2) crystallizes in the tetragonal space group I4/mmm with a = 4.1790(6) A, c = 6.489(1) A, Z = 2, V = 113.32(3) A(3), R(1) = 0.0231, and wR(2) = 0.0534 at -125 degrees C. The [KrF][MF(6)] (M = As, Sb, Bi) salts are isomorphous and isostructural and crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with Z = 4. The unit cell parameters are as follows: beta-[KrF][AsF(6)], a = 5.1753(2) A, b = 10.2019(7) A, c = 10.5763(8) A, beta = 95.298(2) degrees, V = 556.02(6) A(3), R(1) = 0.0265, and wR(2) = 0.0652 at -120 degrees C; [KrF][SbF(6)], a = 5.2922(6) A, b = 10.444(1) A, c = 10.796(1) A, beta = 94.693(4) degrees, V = 594.73(1) A(3), R(1) = 0.0266, wR(2) = 0.0526 at -113 degrees C; [KrF][BiF(6)], a = 5.336(1) A, b = 10.513(2) A, c = 11.046(2) A, beta = 94.79(3) degrees, V = 617.6(2) A(3), R(1) = 0.0344, and wR(2) = 0.0912 at -130 degrees C. The Kr(2)F(3)(+) cation was investigated in [Kr(2)F(3)][SbF(6)].KrF(2), [Kr(2)F(3)](2)[SbF(6)](2).KrF(2), and [Kr(2)F(3)][AsF(6)].[KrF][AsF(6)]. [Kr(2)F(3)](2)[SbF(6)](2).KrF(2) crystallizes in the monoclinic P2(1)/c space group with Z = 4 and a = 8.042(2) A, b = 30.815(6) A, c = 8.137(2) A, beta = 111.945(2) degrees, V = 1870.1(7) A(3), R(1) = 0.0376, and wR(2) = 0.0742 at -125 degrees C. [Kr(2)F(3)][SbF(6)].KrF(2) crystallizes in the triclinic P1 space group with Z = 2 and a = 8.032(3) A, b = 8.559(4) A, c = 8.948(4) A, alpha = 69.659(9) degrees, beta = 63.75(1) degrees, gamma = 82.60(1) degrees, V = 517.1(4) A(3), R(1) = 0.0402, and wR(2) = 0.1039 at -113 degrees C. [Kr(2)F(3)][AsF(6)].[KrF][AsF(6)] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c with Z = 4 and a = 6.247(1) A, b = 24.705(4) A, c = 8.8616(6) A, beta = 90.304(6) degrees, V = 1367.6(3) A(3), R(1) = 0.0471 and wR(2) = 0.0958 at -120 degrees C. The terminal Kr-F bond lengths of KrF(+) and Kr(2)F(3)(+) are very similar, exhibiting no crystallographically significant variation in the structures investigated (range, 1.765(3)-1.774(6) A and 1.780(7)-1.805(5) A, respectively). The Kr-F bridge bond lengths are significantly longer, with values ranging from 2.089(6) to 2.140(3) A in the KrF(+) salts and from 2.027(5) to 2.065(4) A in the Kr(2)F(3)(+) salts. The Kr-F bond lengths of KrF(2) in [Kr(2)F(3)][SbF(6)].KrF(2) and [Kr(2)F(3)](2)[SbF(6)](2).KrF(2) range from 1.868(4) to 1.888(4) A and are similar to those observed in alpha-KrF(2) (1.894(5) A). The synthesis and Raman spectrum of the new salt, [Kr(2)F(3)][PF(6)].nKrF(2), are also reported. Electron structure calculations at the Hartree-Fock and local density-functional theory levels were used to calculate the gas-phase geometries, charges, Mayer bond orders, and Mayer valencies of KrF(+), KrF(2), Kr(2)F(3)(+), and the ion pairs, [KrF][MF(6)] (M = P, As, Sb, Bi), and to assign their experimental vibrational frequencies.  相似文献

Reaction of KNH(2), K(2)Se, Se, [2.2.2]-cryptand, and a metal source yields the metal bis(maleonitrilediselenolates) [K([2.2.2]-cryptand)](2)[M(Se(2)C(2)(CN)(2))(2)] (M = Ni, 1; Pd, 2, Pt, 3). These compounds are isostructural and crystallize with four formula units in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c in cells at T = 153 K with parameters (a (A), b (A), c (A), beta (deg), V (A(3))) of 12.220(1), 15.860(2), 15.306(1), 107.64(2), 2827(1) for 1; 12.291(1), 15.669(1), 15.548(1), 108.55(1), 2839(1) for 2; and 12.292(3), 15.671(3), 15.569(3), 108.59(3), 2842(1) for 3. The cation of 1 has been substituted to yield [Ni(dmf)(5)Cl](2)[Ni(Se(2)C(2)(CN)(2))(2)] (4). [Ni(dmf)(5)Cl](2)[Ni(Se(2)C(2)(CN)(2))(2)] (4) crystallizes with one molecule in the triclinic space group P1 in a cell with parameters (T = 153 K) of a = 8.842(2) A, b =13.161(3) A, c = 13.831(3) A, alpha = 110.08(3) degrees, beta = 95.23(3) degrees, gamma = 93.72(3) degrees, V = 1484(1) A(3). The electronic absorption and infrared spectra are characteristic of metal maleonitrilediselenolates. Cyclic voltammetry shows that the maleonitrilediselenolate (mns) complexes are more easily oxidized than their maleonitriledithiolate (mnt) analogues.  相似文献

Two new coordination polymers comprised of Mn(2+), N(CN)(2)(-) (dicyanamide, herein denoted dca) and pyrimidine (pym) have been synthesized and structurally and magnetically characterized. Mn(dca)(2)(pym)(2), , crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pbcn and forms trans bi-bridged Mn-(micro(1,5)-dca)(2)-Mn ribbons that extend along the b-axis of the unit cell. Two terminally bonded pym ligands are trans-coordinated to the Mn center. Adjacent chains interdigitate in an undulating fashion presumably due to a templating effect imposed by the pym ligands where N-atoms of consecutive pym rings stack parallel to the chain axis. Mn(dca)(2)(pym)(H(2)O), , which crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/c, has a unique interdigitated 2D network that consists of double-bridged [Mn(2)(dca)(2)(pym)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2+)"dimers" that are connected via single-bridging dca ligands. Each MnN(5)O octahedron is comprised of a coordinated H(2)O, a monodentate pym ligand, and four micro(1,5)-bridging dca anions. The magnetic data for were fitted to a uniform antiferromagnetic chain model which yielded J/k(B) = -0.34(1) K. In contrast, is best described as an alternating chain owing to the presence of both single- and double-bridging dca anions; a least-squares fit afforded J(a) = -0.43(1) and J(b) = -0.20(2) K, respectively. A transition to long-range magnetic ordering was observed for below approximately 2.4 K in addition to a field-induced spin flop transition at 15.6 kOe (1.7 K).  相似文献

The salt [K(18-crown-6)][Mn(H2O)2Cr(ox)3.0.5(18-crown-6) (1) has been prepared and structurally and magnetically characterized. It crystallizes in the P2(1)/c space group [a = 21.011(2) A, b = 11.265(2) A, c = 15.748(3) A, beta = 105.952(6) degrees , V = 3584(1) A3, and Z = 4] and contains [Mn(H2O)2Cr(ox)3]infinity chains connected through hydrogen bonding to form 2D anionic networks. The magnetic exchange is ferromagnetic [J = +2.23(2) cm(-1)] in the chain and also in between chains, reaching bulk ferromagnetic ordering below 3.5 K.  相似文献

The novel dimeric germanotungstates [M(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)](12)(-) (M = Mn(2+), Cu(2+), Zn(2+), Cd(2+)) have been synthesized and characterized by IR spectroscopy, elemental analysis, magnetic measurements, and (183)W-NMR spectroscopy. X-ray single-crystal analyses were carried out on Na(12)[Mn(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)].38H(2)O (Na(12)()-1), which crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with a = 13.0419(8) A, b = 17.8422(10) A, c = 21.1626(12) A, beta = 93.3120(10) degrees, and Z = 2; Na(11)Cs(2)[Cu(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)]Cl.31H(2)O (Na(11)()Cs-2) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 12.2338(17) A, b = 12.3833(17) A, c = 15.449(2) A, alpha = 100.041(2) degrees, beta = 97.034(2) degrees, gamma = 101.153(2) degrees, and Z = 1; Na(12)[Zn(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)].32H(2)O (Na(12)()-3) crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 11.589(3) A, b = 12.811(3) A, c = 17.221(4) A, alpha = 97.828(6) degrees, beta = 106.169(6) degrees, gamma = 112.113(5) degrees, and Z = 1; Na(12)[Cd(4)(H(2)O)(2)(GeW(9)O(34))(2)].32.2H(2)O (Na(12)()-4) crystallizes also in the triclinic system, space group P, with a = 11.6923(17) A, b = 12.8464(18) A, c = 17.616(2) A, alpha = 98.149(3) degrees, beta = 105.677(3) degrees, gamma = 112.233(2) degrees, and Z = 1. The polyanions consist of two lacunary B-alpha-[GeW(9)O(34)](10)(-) Keggin moieties linked via a rhomblike M(4)O(16) (M = Mn, Cu, Zn, Cd) group leading to a sandwich-type structure. (183)W-NMR studies of the diamagnetic Zn and Cd derivatives indicate that the solid-state polyoxoanion structures are preserved in solution. EPR measurements on Na(12)()-1 at frequencies up to 188 GHz and temperatures down to 4 K yield a single, exchange-narrowed peak, at g(iso) = 1.9949, typical of Mn systems, and an upper limit of |D| = 20.0 mT; its magnetization studies still await further theoretical treatment. Detailed EPR studies on Na(11)()Cs-2 over temperatures down to 2 K and variable frequencies yield g( parallel ) = 2.4303 and g( perpendicular ) = 2.0567 and A( parallel ) = 4.4 mT (delocalized over the Cu(4) framework), with |D| = 12.1 mT. Magnetization studies in addition yield the exchange parameters J(1) = -11 and J(2) = -82 cm(-)(1), in agreement with the EPR studies.  相似文献

The family of compounds [Mn(dca)(2)(bpa)] (1), [Fe(dca)(2)(bpa)] (2), [Co(dca)(2)(bpa)] (3), [Zn(dca)(2)(bpa)] (4), and [Ni(dca)(bpa)(2)]dca·6H(2)O (5), with dca = dicyanamide and bpa = 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane, has been synthesized. These compounds have been characterized by single crystal (1, 2, 4, and 5) and powder X-ray diffraction (3), by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), UV-vis, and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopies, and by magnetic measurements. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group, Z = 4, with a = 16.757(6), b = 9.692(3), and c = 13.073(4) ?, and β = 123.02(2)°; Compound 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group, Z = 4, with a = 16.588(5), b = 9.661(3), c = 12.970(5) ?, and β = 123.16(3)°; Compound 4 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group, Z = 4, with a = 16.519(2), b = 9.643(2), c = 12.943(2) ?, and β = 123.15(1)°; Compound 5 crystallizes in the monoclinic C2/c space group, Z = 4, with a = 18.504(4), b = 19.802(3), and c = 8.6570(18) ?, and β = 99.74(2)°. The compounds 1-4 are isostructural and show a one dimensional (1D) disposition, with the metal(II) ions bridged by double μ(1,5) dca ligands and unusually by a third bridge consisting of the bpa ligand, which adopts a very low torsion angle to accommodate in the structure. This kind of structure is unusual, even considering the voluminous bpa bridge. The compound 5 shows a 3D structure with layers of Ni-bpa joined by single dca bridges. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show antiferromagnetic couplings, increasing for 1-3. Compound 5 shows very slight antiferromagnetic interactions.  相似文献

The reaction of Mn and Cd in alkali metal polythioarsenate fluxes afforded four new compounds featuring molecular anions. K(8)[Mn(2)(AsS(4))(4)] (I) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2/n with a = 9.1818(8) A, b = 8.5867(8) A, c = 20.3802(19) A, and beta = 95.095(2) degrees. Rb(8)[Mn(2)(AsS(4))(4)] (II) and Cs(8)[Mn(2)(AsS(4))(4)] (III) both crystallize in the triclinic space group P1 with a = 9.079(3) A, b = 9.197(3) A, c = 11.219(4) A, alpha = 105.958(7) degrees, beta = 103.950(5) degrees, and gamma = 92.612(6) degrees for II and a = 9.420(5) A, b = 9.559(5) A, c = 11.496(7) A, alpha = 105.606(14) degrees, beta = 102.999(12) degrees, and gamma = 92.423(14) degrees for III. The discrete dimeric [Mn(2)(AsS(4))(4)](8-) clusters in these compounds are composed of two octahedral Mn(2+) ions bridged by two [AsS(4)](3-) units and chelated each by a [AsS(4)](3-) unit. Rb(8)[Cd(2)(AsS(4))(2)(AsS(5))(2)] (IV) crystallizes in P1 with a = 9.122(2) A, b = 9.285(2) A, c = 12.400(3) A, alpha = 111.700(6) degrees, beta = 108.744 degrees, and gamma = 90.163(5) degrees. Owing to the greater size of Cd compared to Mn, the Cd centers in this compound are bridged by [AsS(5)](3-) units. The [Cd(2)(AsS(4))(4)](8-) cluster is a minor component cocrystallized in the lattice. These compounds are yellow in color and soluble in water.  相似文献

The syntheses, X-ray structures, and magnetic behaviors of two new cyano-bridged assemblies, the molecular [Mn(III)(salen)H2O]3[W(V)(CN)8].H2O (1) and one-dimensional [Mn(salen)(H2O)2]2[[Mn(salen)(H2O)][Mn(salen)]2[Mo(CN)(8)]].0.5ClO4.0.5OH.4.5H2O (2), are presented. Compound 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, has space group P2(1)/c, and has unit cell constants a = 13.7210(2) A, b = 20.6840(4) A, c = 20.6370(2) A, and Z = 4. Compound 2 crystallizes in the triclinic system, has space group P, and has unit cell dimensions a = 18.428(4) A, b = 18.521(3) A, c = 18.567(4) A, and Z = 2. The structure of 1 consists of the asymmetric V-shaped Mn-NC-W-NC-Mn-O(phenolate)-Mn molecules, where W(V) coordinates with [Mn(salen)H2O] and singly phenolate-bridged [Mn(salen)H2O]2 moieties through the neighboring cyano bridges. The [W(V)(CN)8]3- ion displays distorted square-antiprism geometry. The structure of 2 consists of the cyano-bridged [Mn3(III)Mo(IV)]n- repeating units linked by double phenolate bridges into one-dimensional zigzag chains. The Mn(III) centers are bound to Mo(IV) of square-antiprism geometry through the neighboring cyano bridges. The magnetic studies of 1 reveal the antiferromagnetic intramolecular interactions through the CN and phenolate bridges and the relatively weak intermolecular interactions. Compound 1 becomes antiferromagnetically ordered below TN = 4.6 K. The presence of the magnetic anisotropy is documented with the MH measurements carried out for both polycrystalline and single-crystal samples. At T = 1.9 K, the spin-flop transition is observed in the field of 18 kOe applied parallel to the bc plane, which is the easy plane of magnetization. Field dependence of magnetization of 1 shows field-induced metamagnetic behavior from the antiferromagnetic ground state of ST = 3/2 to the state of ST = 5/2. The magnetic properties of 2 indicate a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between Mn(III) centers in double-phenolate-bridged [Mn(III)(salen)]2 dinuclear subunits and a very weak ferromagnetic interaction between them through the diamagnetic [Mo(IV)(CN)8]4- spacer.  相似文献

Exploiting the ability of the [M(SC[O]Ph)(4)](-) anion to behave like an anionic metalloligand, we have synthesized [Li[Ga(SC[O]Ph)(4)]] (1), [Li[In(SC[O]Ph)(4)]] (2), [Na[Ga(SC[O]Ph)(4)]] (3), [Na(MeCN)[In(SC[O]Ph)(4)]] (4), [K[Ga(SC[O]Ph)(4)]] (5), and [K(MeCN)(2)[In(SC[O]Ph)(4)]] (6) by reacting MX(3) and PhC[O]S(-)A(+) (M = Ga(III) and In(III); X = Cl(-) and NO(3)(-); and A = Li(I), Na(I), and K(I)) in the molar ratio 1:4. The structures of 2, 4, and 6 determined by X-ray crystallography indicate that they have a one-dimensional coordination polymeric structure, and structural variations may be attributed to the change in the alkali metal ion from Li(I) to Na(I) to K(I). Two isostructural mixed-valence vanadium phosphonoacetates H2(DABCO)[V(IV)O(H2O)V(III)(OH)(O3PCH2CO2)2].2.5H2O (1) and H2(PIP)[V(IV)O(H2O)V(III)(OH)(O3PCH2CO2)2].2.5H2O (2) have been synthesized. They crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pnna with a = 7.0479(10) A, b = 15.307(2) A, and c = 17.537(3) A for 1 and a = 7.0465(9) A, b = 15.646(2) A, and c = 17.396(2) A for 2. X-ray single-crystal diffraction reveals that 1 and 2 have a three-dimensional open framework featuring 16-ring ellipsoid channels that are filled with doubly protonated 1,4-diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octanium/piperazinium cations and water molecules. According to the classification in metal-organic frameworks, 1 and 2 contain infinite (-O-V-)(infinity) chains that are cross-linked by "metalloligand" [VO(H2O)(O3PCH2CO2)2](4-) into a 3-D net of the sra topology. The temperature dependence of the magnetic susceptibility of 1 shows that the chi(m)T value in the range of 60-320 K is constant of 1.105 cm3 K mol(-1)/V2 unit, and upon further cooling, the chi(m)T value rapidly increases to 1.81 cm3 K mol(-1) at 2 K. The corresponding effective magnetic moment (mu(eff))/V2 unit varies from 2.97 mu(B) at 320 K to 3.80 mu(B) at 2 K. The magnetic data in the range of 2-320 K follow the Curie-Weiss law with C = 1.074 cm3 K mol(-1) and Theta= -1.34 K.  相似文献

The syntheses and properties of tetra- and pentanuclear vanadium(IV,V) carboxylate complexes are reported. Reaction of (NBzEt(3))(2)[VOCl(4)] (1a) with NaO(2)CPh and atmospheric H(2)O/O(2) in MeCN leads to formation of (NBzEt(3))(2)[V(5)O(9)Cl(O(2)CPh)(4)] 4a; a similar reaction employing (NEt(4))(2)[VOCl(4)] (1b) gives (NEt(4))(2)[V(5)O(9)Cl(O(2)CPh)(4)] (4b). Complex 4a.MeCN crystallizes in space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with the following unit cell dimensions at -148 degrees C: a = 13.863(13) ?, b = 34.009(43) ?, c = 12.773(11) ?, and Z = 4. The reaction between (NEt(4))(2)[VOBr(4)] (2a) and NaO(2)CPh under similar conditions gives (NEt(4))(2)[V(5)O(9)Br(O(2)CPh)(4)] (6a), and the use of (PPh(4))(2)[VOBr(4)] (2b) likewise gives (PPh(4))(2)[V(5)O(9)Br(O(2)CPh)(4)] (6b). Complex 6b crystallizes in space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with the following unit cell dimensions at -139 degrees C: a = 18.638(3) ?, b = 23.557(4) ?, c = 12.731(2) ?, and Z = 4. The anions of 4a and 6b consist of a V(5) square pyramid with each vertical face bridged by a &mgr;(3)-O(2)(-) ion, the basal face bridged by a &mgr;(4)-X(-) (X = Cl, Br) ion, and a terminal, multiply-bonded O(2)(-) ion on each metal. The RCO(2)(-) groups bridge each basal edge to give C(4)(v)() virtual symmetry. The apical and basal metals are V(V) and V(IV), respectively (i.e., the anions are trapped-valence). The reaction of 1b with AgNO(3) and Na(tca) (tca = thiophene-2-carboxylate) in MeCN under anaerobic conditions gives (NEt(4))(2)[V(4)O(8)(NO(3))(tca)(4)] (7). Complex 7.H(2)O crystallizes in space group C2/c with the following unit cell dimensions at -170 degrees C: a = 23.606(4) ?, b = 15.211(3) ?, c = 23.999(5) ?, and Z = 4. The anion of 7 is similar to those of 4a and 6b except that the apical [VO] unit is absent, leaving a V(4) square unit, and the &mgr;(4)-X(-) ion is replaced with a &mgr;(4),eta(1)-NO(3)(-) ion. The four metal centers are now at the V(IV), 3V(V) oxidation level, but the structure indicates four equivalent V centers, suggesting an electronically delocalized system. Variable-temperature magnetic susceptibility data were collected on powdered samples of 4b, 6a, and 7 in the 2.00-300 K range in a 10 kG applied field. 4b and 6a both show a slow increase in effective magnetic moment (&mgr;(eff)) from approximately 3.6-3.7 &mgr;(B) at 320 K to approximately 4.5-4.6 &mgr;(B) at 11.0 K and then a slight decrease to approximately 4.2 &mgr;(B) at 2.00 K. The data were fit to the theoretical expression for a V(IV)(4) square with two exchange parameters J = J(cis)() and J' = J(trans)() (H = -2JS(i)()S(j)()): fitting of the data gave, in the format 4b/6a, J= +39.7/+46.4 cm(-)(1), J' = -11.1/-18.2 cm(-)(1) and g = 1.83/1.90, with the complexes possessing S(T) = 2 ground states. The latter were confirmed by magnetization vs field studies in the 2.00-30.0 K and 0.500-50.0 kG ranges: fitting of the data gave S(T) = 2 and D = 0.00 cm(-)(1) for both complexes, where D is the axial zero-field splitting parameter. Complex 7 shows a nearly temperature-independent &mgr;(eff) (1.6-2.0 &mgr;(B)) consistent with a single d electron per V(4) unit. The (1)H NMR spectra of 4b and 6a in CD(3)CN are consistent with retention of their pentanuclear structure on dissolution. The EPR spectrum of 7 in a toluene/MeCN (1:2) solution at approximately 25 degrees C yields an isotropic signal with a 29-line hyperfine pattern assignable to hyperfine interactions with four equivalent I = (7)/(2) (51)V nuclei.  相似文献

Tetranuclear complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P2(1)/n, with unit cell parameters a = 8.284(8), b = 21.52(1), c = 11.432(3) A, beta = 105.19(2) degrees , Z = 2. Bi-dimensional complex 2 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with unit cell parameters a = 8.184(5), b = 8.792(2), c = 10.887(2) A, alpha = 75.65(2), beta = 76.55(3), gamma = 74.36(3) degrees , Z = 2. Tetranuclear complex 3 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with unit cell parameters a = 8.455(4), b = 9.114(9), c = 12.744(8) A, alpha = 104.62(8), beta = 99.86(6), gamma = 106.10(8) degrees, Z = 1. Dinuclear complex 4 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1, with unit cell parameters a = 8.15(1), b = 8.18(2), c = 11.44(1) A, alpha = 69.39(2), beta = 80.36(2), gamma = 80.37(2) degrees , Z = 2. One-dimensional complex 5 crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group P2(1)2(1)2(1), with unit cell parameters a = 20.45(4), b = 11.36(3), c = 6.43(1) A, Z = 4. The magnetic behavior of all the complexes has been checked giving a bulk antiferromagnetic coupling in all the cases with |J| values in the range 109-144 cm(-1) for 1-4. Compound 5 is diamagnetic in the 2-300 K range of temperatures. The found J values 1-5 for can be justified from the structural data taking into account the orbital countercomplementarity for 1-4 and the orbital complementarity for 5.  相似文献

Complexes K11Na1[As2W18(Mn(H2O))3O66]x27H2O (1) and Na12[As2W18(Co(H2O))3O66]x34H2O (2) have been characterized. 1 crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, with a = 30.6484(4) A, b = 14.9946(2) A, and c = 19.17080(10) A (Z = 4), while 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c, with a = 14.124(2) A, b = 23.294(3) A, c = 32.247(3) A, and beta = 98.935(10) degrees (Z = 4). Structures of the anions of 1 and 2 are similar, the divalent metals adopting a square pyramidal environment. K11[As2W18(VO)3O66]x23H2O (3) crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma, with a = 30.6240(5) A, b = 14.9861(2) A, and c = 19.2651(3) A (Z = 4). The structure has revealed a disorder on two of the three metals linking the [alpha-AsW9O33]9- parts. For these two vanadium atoms, the V=O bonds are directed alternatively toward the inside or the outside of the [alpha-AsW9O33]9- cavity. The remaining vanadium shows a V=O bond always directed toward the outside of the cavity. Titration of VIV by CeIV revealed that 3 is the mixed-valent VIV2VV species. Magnetic measurements are in agreement with this formulation. The high-temperature molar magnetic susceptibility of a powdered sample of 3 clearly confirms the presence of two d1 centers. The two VIV are antiferromagnetically coupled, with J = -2.9 cm-1 and g = 1.93. Crystallographic data do not permit the location of the two VIV to be distinguished from the location of the VV. As expected, the Mn(II) are very weakly antiferromagnetically coupled in compound 1. The complex Na8[Ni(H2O)6]2[As2W18(Ni(H2O))3O66]x20H2O (4) has been synthesized. The anion crystallized with two octahedral [Ni(H2O)6]2+ as counterions. Magnetic data have been fitted assuming that the only exchange-coupled centers are the nickels of the polyanion. 4 exhibits an antiferromagnetic coupling with J = -1.7 cm-1, g = 2.27, and theta = -1.5 K.  相似文献

Red and yellow dichroistic crystals of a vanadium(V) compound, potassium (mu-oxo, di-mu-sulfato)bis(oxodisulfatovanadate), K(8)(VO)(2)O(SO(4))(6), have been obtained from the ternary catalytic model melt system K(2)S(2)O(7)[bond]K(2)SO(4)[bond]V(2)O(5). By slow cooling of the melt from 420 to 355 degrees C, crystal growth occurred, using solid V(2)O(5) crystals present in the melt as nucleation promoter. The compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(l) with a = 13.60(9) A, b = 13.93(9) A, c = 14.05(9) A, beta = 90.286(10) degrees, and Z = 2. It contains two VO(6) octahedra linked together by a mu-oxo and two mu-sulfato bridges. Furthermore, each octahedron has two monodentate sulfate ligands, making the dimeric entity coordinatively saturated. IR spectroscopy shows bands arising from V[bond]O[bond]V and V[double bond]O stretches as well as splitting of sulfate bands due to the different degrees of freedom present for different conformations of sulfate ligands. The coordination of vanadium in K(8)(VO)(2)O(SO(4))(6) is discussed in relation to the reaction mechanism of SO(2) oxidation catalysis.  相似文献
